Positive Performance is a top of the line mechanic. Everyone is knowledgeable, polite and is always very transparent when you speak with them. No hidden fees. Truly a mechanic shop I trust and have used for years. They work on all my vehicles, commercial and personal. They do quality work and do not cut any corners like the other guys!

After hearing from another mechanic in town that basically condemned our car for parts, we got a second opinion to be sure. (The used car market is crazy right now!) Our 2005 Honda Covid has also been well cared for and only has 164,000 miles, so something just didn’t feel right about it being beyond repair. We asked around for a trusted shop, and Positive Performance was highly recommended. Eric’s reputation as a trustworthy mechanic gave us reassurance that we would get an accurate diagnosis of our vehicle. So glad we followed our intuition and sought out another opinion! Our car was repaired (several routine maintenance issues for a car that age) and now we good to go! We could have been taken advantage of, but we were spared! From now on, we will only go to Positive Performance and we will HIGHLY recommend them based on our experience. Thank you to the whole team for helping us out!

I had taken my car to another shop that said my rotors needed replaced. Here I was assured they were ok and did not need replaced. Positive Performance does an outstanding job in servicing our cars! They have excellent customer service, are open and willing to answer any questions you have, and most importantly… Only fix those things that need repaired! I have been to other places where you go in for an oil change and need five more things fixed! Their work is affordable and done in a timely manner! We send our friends there with no hesitation! I enjoy fixing my own cars to the point of just about anything that is serviceable without needing crazy expensive machines to do it. So I take my car here for things that I dont have the right tools for, or for little things that I just dont have time to diagnose myself. They do NOT charge for diagnostic/troubleshooting time which is amazingly helpful. After living in Columbus for almost 5 years now, I have been going to Positive Performance for about a year and a half. I had tried a few other popular places in town with a lot of good reviews but they just havent come close to Positive Performance. This shop is always either the cheapest I can find, or is tied with another shop on quotes. They also always listen to my situation and are insanely accommodating in the troubleshooting process once they have the car - letting me know how the troubleshooting is going and never doing anything or charging me for something I didnt have time to think about and agree to beforehand. Front desk is usually understandably busy, but is very kind and makes time to listen and discuss with you. My only sadness is that they dont do front end alignment :[ Thank you Positive Performance and keep up the great work.

Timing chain replacement. The dealer quoted me $3600, positive performance quoted me $900 less! They replaced my timing chains and met the quote as well. Reccomend 10/10.

This is the only place I trust with my cars. Excellent service and very fair pricing. Did wonders with my ‘70s Lincoln, and when my partner’s ‘74 Cadillac needed an emergency repair, he had it done the next day. Would recommend to anyone in the Columbus area.

Went in for a check up on my car by appointment and it was very quick. There was no waiting to be served, they took my keys and got it hooked up and had my car back to me. I spent about 30 minutes there in total. Staff was friendly and professional. I will be back as needed.
