I always leave satisfied but my last visit was above and beyond my expectations. Leaving town for a Baseball tournament but needed a CV axle repaired before we could leave town. Derrick and his staff took care of it and then went the extra mile making sure everything else was ready, even made sure that the A/C was ready to keep us comfortable for all the summer travel. All at a fair price with the only surprise being the extraordinary experience.

My brake lights were both out and I brought it in. They asked if I brought my own bulbs but I had not. Waited over an hour to tell me it wasn’t the bulbs and it was electrical and they couldn’t fix that. Wish they told me that in the beginning that they didn’t do electrical if it was indeed that. 🙄 I would have taken it somewhere else then. So they charged me 85 bucks just to tell me that. Make an appointment at the dealership to fix them since it was electrical. They call to tellme the bulbs were black and they were indeed out. No electrical problems...just burnt out. I called to complain and the lady I spoke with said I could have a free oil change but that’s basically all they could do. I understand it wasn’t her fault and she tried to accommodate the best she could. However how can I trust a place with a simple oil change when they clearly couldn’t even figure out my bulbs being burnt out? For that I will say reviews aren’t everything and this is why it’s hard to trust places with your car. I won’t be returning and definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR NEWER VEHICLES HERE. I went in the first time for a tire rotation and oil change, and they did not tighten the bolts of one of my tires. They tried to compensate me with 5 free oil changes. So I go in to get my free oil change, and I leave and my car starts to shake and the check engine light comes on, as well as a statement that says “service electronic stability control”. I could not even go over 20 mph, while pressing my foot all the way on the gas pedal. I tried speaking with the owner, and even requested the number to corporate. She refused to give me the district manager number, or the corporate number. Im usually not one to post reviews but I have had TWO separate occasions that resulted in unsatisfactory work. Sandra Green, the owner is very rude, and does not deserve to be in business. I had to call my insurance to tow it to the Jeep dealership, and I’m having to pay out of pocket for the mistake they made. If I could give it zero stars, I would.UPDATE - I took my vehicle to Jeep, and they diagnosed that there was indeed oil in my intake tube after the oil change which caused these issues. A month later and I’m still dealing with the repercussions of this place, to the point where I have to trade in my vehicle. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Regular oil change is affordable, but when theres a person holding a sign as shown in photo, its $14.99!!Staff friendly, great A/C, clean eating area with coffee bar and TV. Bathrooms clean, will definitely be back!!

My oil change was only supposed to $64.95 but when I refused a coolant flush it went up to $93.93. The claim was it need 6.3 qts instead of 5. Smh!

I called the first time to ask about replacing my battery because my car wasn’t starting. The woman that answered the phone kindly suggested that I go buy a battery of my own and replace it for a better deal, I told her I would consider this and call back if I still needed help. I decided I would rather have a professional do this since I’m a young woman with no experience changing car batteries. On 12/29/2020 I had my car towed here for repairs. I told them I knew it was a battery issue. I’ve had my car for about 5 years and I knew I needed a new battery, when they called me to confirm the services needed they told me I just needed new clamps on the battery. At this time I said ok and asked them to also include a new battery. I paid $141 and they told me I didn’t need a new battery. I picked up my car on 12/31/2020 and parked it at home, I didn’t try to drive again until 1/2/2021 and my car didn’t start at all. We tried to jump the car and that didn’t work so I called them again- because I had paid them to fix my car and the issue wasn’t repaired I asked them what the solution was to avoid having to pay for another tow. They got my information and told me they would have someone come out and replace the battery at my house. I called again about week later after I wasn’t followed up with and they said they had written down my information to be given to a manager. Again nothing was ever followed up on. I’ve given up and a different auto replace shop has replaced my battery and fixed my car.

Derrick was very helpful and explained the difference in synthetic oil versus premium oil for my vehicle. Glad he took the time to make sure my vehicle was getting the best care. Will be back and highly recommend Precision Auto! Derrick ROCKS!!!!

They are a Godsend! So kind and welcoming! I had just got off work around 5:15 and made it there by 5:40. They close at 6pm. I originally only had the intention of getting an oil change and a possible battery (battery light was on for two days) but, when I was about a mile away, my abs light started flashing on and off. Then, a half mile away, I started hearing a loud whirring noise that sounded like increased engine effort. Then, my electronic media, climate, etc center turned off. Thankfully, I made it there and parked because, when one of the staff members went to check it out after I told them everything, the engine wouldn’t turn over. Long story short, they let me know it was the alternator and the serpentine belt. Without even hesitating, they began working on it right when they were about to close, had the alternator sent over, and went to pick up the serpentine belt. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 I can’t begin to express my thankfulness that they didn’t mind beginning a big project so late (premium oil change with the tire rotation, alternator, and serpentine belt). They were truly so kind.

I came to get an oil change. They were very professional and also very quick with getting my vehicle serviced. I ended up coming back a couple of days later to get my brakes and rotters fixed. They were very professional then as well, the guy over everything kept me updated which I really loved. I would definitely recommend, and I sure will continue doing business with them. The fact that they lied to me several time. About the price woah. Taking advantage of a young woman who repeatedly called and was told by management and the gentleman working that my price would be one thing but I’m paying almost $200 more than the quoted price. That’s why businesses fail and people aren’t successful because of lies and deceit. I hope no one goes through what I went through at this place. Truly heart becoming and I have lost all faith in the world. It took two hours to fix my car but I was told it would take all day. They lost my keys. They even lied about a warranty. Disgusting and disrespectful. They wouldn’t even honor a coupon that I found online. It was from their store also. The manager is disgusting.

They did not change the oil in my car, and my husband took his truck the next day not knowing that my oil wasnt changed and they did not change his filter in his truck. We have been marking our filters and checking our oil before we take our Automobiles for this very reason. And on top of that the manager tried to tell me that my little 4 cylinder Kia needed 39.99 or change when it could use the 19.99 or chang Oh well wont go back again.

The manager David was extremely professional and helpful. He explained what was needed vs recommended and what components the service would help. He didn’t make me feel pressured to get any service done which I greatly appreciated. Being a woman and going into a business to get vehicle maintenance done, a lot of people take advantage of that. Service was fast and priced right. He also recommended another business to go to since they couldn’t balance my tires at the moment. I will definitely be returning for future maintenance.

The price quoted over the phone was way under what I was unexpectedly charged and my car was skipping after they completed the time up instead of before it was done. I had to turn around and take it back to be told a coil was bad and they didnt know prior to puting it back on but they gave it back to me after paying close to $400 to change 6 spark plugs. Leaving one bad in costing me to have it redone correctly by another mechanic. 😭

I went into shop for oil change. The shop manager (Boald, heavy set & over whelping tattoos). He was very inappropriate. They work on attempting to up sale my oil change. He said motor needed to be flush. I ask how much. He states because of the CORONAVIRUS it is $89.99. I said what in the HECK does COVID-19 has to do with this oil service request. He did not respond. I left this shop because the SHADY GUY AS MANAGER & BUSINESS PRACTICE. I DONT RECOMMEND.

Been getting my oil changed here over 10 years

I had my car “fixed” at the older location on victory drive. It still was not fixed after about $1000. The check engine light was still on so I took it to this location and they were so nice. They ran a diagnostic and actually fixed my car. For free!!!!! I am very grateful for the customer service provided by I think her name was Ashely and the manager Richard!! We will always bring are cars here for pristine maintenance and any other issues!! I am all about customer service, and I am so happy with how they treated me here!! Treat others how you want to be treated!!!

TL;DR They don’t even know how to install an oil filter correctly.On March 13, 2020 I had an oil change for $40.48 at Precision Tune Auto Care at 5427 Veterans Parkway, Columbus GA, 31904. The following week my car was parked for 4 days and I noticed an oil leak on the driveway. The oil leak was small, but it persisted, and on April 3rd, 2020, I took the car back to Precision Tune Auto Care. During that visit, I was advised I would need the valve cover gasket repaired. I purchased the valve cover gasket for $24.79 + shipping from Rock Auto and returned to Precision Tune Auto Care on April 14th, 2020. The valve cover gasket was changed and I was charged $370.46. The oil leak persisted and I returned to Precision Tune Auto Care on April 17th, 2020. During that visit, I was advised that I needed to replace the oil pan gasket. I purchased the oil pan gasket for $15.39 from Rock Auto. I then scheduled an appointment with a different mechanic and had my car inspected on April 29, 2020. During the previous oil change in March at Precision Tune Auto Care, the oil filter was not installed properly and was loose. I paid the other mechanic $90.97 to have the engine cleaned and to have a new oil change.I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Their response was that the oil leak was present when I brought it for the original oil change and that at the first oil change I was advised to replace the valve cover gasket. The technician notes from March 13th do not mention either of these things. The response also stated that when the valve cover gasket was changed they told me I needed to replace the oil pan gasket. This was not mentioned in the technician notes. These “problems” were discovered when I took the car in for complementary services because I still had an oil leak. It’s currently listed as an unresolved complaint with the BBB (8/22/2020).

There are very few chain auto repair shops that deliver great service, but the staff at Precision Tune Auto went above and beyond. Not only is the staff knowledgeable but friendly and attentive as well. We had engine trouble and they were able to completely find, fix, and better our Suburban faster than any other shop was willing to do; and with the quality and care of a local mechanic. Definitely the best shop in Columbus

Highly recommend. Great service. Reasonable prices. Ive got oil changes from them and this morning took my car In for an air conditioner recharge and they had it done in no time. I was in-and-out of there in less than an hour and a 1/2 in my AC is blowing so cold. It was also the cheapest place in town to have the AC recharged. Very fast! They are always good, and I never have a long wait. Everyone is extremely nice, and they always offer services that they think you will benefit from.

My premium oil change was rushed. I saw that they were extremely busy but that should not have changed the quality of work. In the premium oil change, I was told I’d have all my fluids topped and have my tire pressure checked. I’m honestly not sure if any of these things were done. My tire pressure light continued to stay on days after I left. Usually my tire light goes off after I get premium oil change here. I decided to come back later in the week to see if they could check the pressure since I paid for it and I was going out town. One gentleman attempted to help with the flat tires, but I’m not sure if it was his job to work on the cars. All of the actual mechanics were to busy to come and check on the issue with my car. Long story short I left the Precision Auto Tune on Veterans Pkwy with my tire pressure light on and a feeling that the work was STILL not done properly. I went to another car place and they told me ALL of my tires were extremely flat. They filled all of my tires no problem and my light went off immediately. I will not be coming back to Precision Auto Tune, the quality of the work has went down tremendously. I wish they would be consistent with the work because people rely on them to make sure their cars are working properly. I’m glad I decided to check elsewhere about the tires because I was at risk of being stranded on my road trip. The only plus of coming here are the nice people at the desk inside.

By far my worst experience with a shop. I brought my car in for a tune up, new brakes, new clutch, and bearings. My car was in good working order. I brought it in because I travel a lot for work and wanted to ensure my car continues to last. The work was supposedly done and I paid close to $2,300 for this work.I received the car back and my air doesn’t work, there’s major scrubbing of my brake pads, and weird noises coming from the front end. There were no issues before I brought the car in. I’ve reached out to Shawn at Precision and have brought the car more than once to have it rechecked. They stated all was well. I’ve asked twice to speak to the owner and gave my contact information. I have not heard anything.I am completely unhappy and do not recommend anyone here. I’ve spent a lot of money and my car ended up worse than when I initially brought it in.

My one and only experience here was horrible! I dropped my car off for an oil change and tire rotation before my girlfriend and I went across the street for lunch. I asked the manager if he could have the mechanic do a quick exhaust inspection because of a recent exhaust leak. I understood that they do not do exhaust work, but he ensured me hed let me know where the leak was coming from for future repair.Twenty minutes after dropping off the car the manager called me and stated that I had a missing lug nut and stud. I found this a bit unusual since Ive had my car serviced up North on a regular schedule by the same people Everytime! I told the manager to hold off on the repair.After lunch we picked up the car and I asked the manager if the service member got around to seeing where the exhaust leak was coming from. He confidently stated that it was a bad donut on the drivers side. I thanked him for the service and my girlfriend and I went on our way to dropping the car off before catching a flight back to New York the following day.Later on that night I pulled off the hub cap and found out that the broken stud was a clean shear since the break was fresh! This was a bit odd since we had just driven over a thousand miles and there wasnt an oz of brake dust on the missing stud as there was on the rest of the rim!I gave him the benefit of the doubt and since there was no proof that the break was a direct result of the mechanic driving the nuts on with the impact, I figured I would leave it at that. Then I proceeded to checking for a broken or missing donut on the drivers side of the car like the manager claimed was the issue. After several minutes of rolling around in the parking lot, it was certain that there is no donut on the drivers side of the car. The noise was infact coming from the rear before the muffler (gotta love New York salt).To me it seemed that since they do not work on exhausts he gave me a quick response to common exhaust issues. That was the breaking point to realizing that dishonesty may be a contribution to the truth of how Im missing a lug nut and stud. I feel they saw those New York plates and figured we wouldnt be back! This is unfortunate since we are both recent residents of Georgia.

Precision Tune Auto saved me nearly $4000. I originally went to Rivertown Ford to get my a/c recharged, they said something was broken and it would be a $4000 fix. Took my car to Precision Tune Auto because they said the could do it for $600, but when they checked out the car they said all they needed to do was recharge it for around $50. I greatly appreciate their integrity and quality service.

I always go here to get my service. Great people, great prices. Anything I need done to my car they are always willing to help. They go the extra mile to get to the bottom of the problem. They always explain what needs to be done and how they are doing it.

One of my favorite chain shops, but they dont prioritize good enough. Good customer service as far as being polite, but Ive been waiting over an hour to get my brake pads changed. Four other people have come in after me and already have been serviced and on their way. I like the prices and people, but I like speedy service more.

I normally don’t do things like this, but this is ridiculous. I have taken my car here for oil changes since I’ve gotten it (2 YEARS AGO). I have never had a problem with this place until today. A very nice man was helping me and getting the paperwork up to get started and then a lady (who had an attitude) told me they could not change the oil in my car, even though I was just there and they changed the oil, less than 5 months ago. I understand when you’re busy you don’t want to take on anymore than you have to.. but you just lost a customer FORVER. Did I mention I’m at another place as I type this out getting my, you guessed it, OIL CHANGED! will never be going back
