Its not the biggest selection in town but theyre so very helpful, have a great variety and selection on most things and very good prices.

Big 5 works hard to be loyal to its customers. They went out of their way to order me in a certain type of shoe in a color that I need. Both employees I worked with were very helpful and friendly. For a small sporting goods store Big 5 is great.

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Adam Sunderman who helped me and my family purchase a Glock 17 co2 bb handgun. He went above and beyond for sure! Also met a really nice manager - forgot her name (sorry).Props to everyone working that day. Great shopping FUN!

I walked in to buy a fishing license and possibly some fishing gear. I asked if they had a restroom. They said I can go across the parking lot to the King Soopers. I dont do business with places that dont allow you the use of the facilities. I had just finished driving for three hours and was not overjoyed by their lack of customer service. I walked out. No one should shop there.

This is the Big 5 in the Uintah Gardens Shopping Center and they do not have a ton of sunglass selection unlike the North Academy Big 5. They have way larger selection

Returns were easy. No hassle floor people. No loud offensive music overhead. Ty.

I used to love this store but went in today - guy at register had bandanna around his neck. Girl working had mask under her nose. I asked her a question and she came right up to me - told her to back off! But still love the store

Good store however no one knows about powerlifting and shouldnt be allowed to give such wrong advice to the people who shop their. I felt like wow guy you are so wrong with your information I had to correct the situation and I sold the equipment to the person for big 5. I was thanked by the employee and the man who spent north of 500.00 usd

Lol that moment you buy a camping hammock from the camping section, and then realize it doesn’t have any strings or way of supporting it, and then realizing big 5 doesn’t even sell anything that would allow me to tie up the hammock I purchased from them... oh well, a bunch of other places do.Also, almost everything is marked up 300-500% of Walmart’s prices despite still being a semi large retailer and being able to buy in bulk. I don’t understand that.

The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Im a little or maybe a lot picky about the shoes and equipment (amateur sport) that I use. I got exactly what I needed and the prices were comparable to other stores I went to. Very happy! Definitely my first choice for shoes and gear.

I can always find shoes here, whether for work (Im a cook), exercise or every day wear. Prices for shoes are fair, and they frequently have sales and mark downs. The employees are nearly always very helpful. The only reason I dont give them a 5 is because I can never find any clothes here that fit me right, especially when it comes to the sports bras.

Ive been to a lot of sporting goods stores. Big 5 is definitely not the cheapest, but the customer service at this location is outstanding. This store is very well stocked. Ill definitely be coming back to this location.

Its a great sporting place to go look for things. They do have some good deals on most of the time. But its hard to find a 14 wide tennis shoe in stock.

This Big 5 is my favorite Colorado Springs sporting goods store. They have an excellent selection of rifles and shotguns, a wonderful selection of ammunition and ammunition types (they even carry affordable 12-gauge Winchester Defender rounds for home defense!), as well as spotting scopes, gun carrying cases, sport safety sunglasses and goggles that even work for shooters eye protection (!!!) and last but hardly least, a wonderful case of knives, from fighting to hunting and utility knives. Otherwise, I have bought sport underwear, swimwear, camping and sleeping gear here. It is important to note that they carry a wide range of quality affordable products that are made in America (Aside from Mossberg and Remington shotguns and buck knives, I have to point to the two pairs of New Balance walking/hiking shoes I bought there!). This store is small on the outside, but its wonderful selection, high-quality products and exceptional prices make it the sporting goods store of choice for me.

Rude employees, and when I pointed out the sale price on the boots I bought I was informed it was wrong and the guy removed it and wouldnt honor the price for me. I asked cashier if she could put in a coupon code and she said no that I had to have an in store coupon. I asked her if they had a coupon and she informed me quite rudely that that wasnt her responsibility either.

Very cheap branded material thats discounted down. Bought some snow gloves for $20 fell one time and they tore a hole right in them.

Great place for last minute sporting good needs

Walked through the door, theres three employees at the front talking. The gal at the register asked if I needed anything in particular. Told them Im browsing for bow and arrow accessories. I thought one the other employees would help me. But, they continued to talk amongst themselves. So I look around for about ten minutes. Waited by the guns and crossbow display. Not one of them pays any attention. They are literally about 15 feet away from me, in eyesight. So the only things I found were some practice tips, youths safety starter kit, some kiddie bow and arrows and some little cheesy target paper picture things. Although I did like their zombie target. What I was wanting was a site, armgaurd (one that doesnt look like its for a 10 year old) and some real tips and arrows, feathers dada dada dada. They need to get some tips from Ace hardware witch is a few businesses down. Now those guys are on ya. Can I help you, can I help you
