My family and I have spent a week in Niseko nearly every year for the past 10 years. This year, I made it a month! After looking at various options for vacation rentals, I picked Niseko East Mountain Chalets, and was very happy with my choice. Justin Parry is a friendly, knowledgeable and responsive host. The chalets themselves are new with up-to-date equipment including floor heating in the bathroom and entryway, super-powerful hot shower, well-equipped kitchen, and comfy beds. Internet is lightning fast, and the units have great AV equipment. We stayed in unit 2, which is advertised at 4 people, but could fit 5-6 in a pinch. The housekeepers came every 3 days and kept the place spotless. We used a car, which I would recommend (2-3 minutes drive to the Niseko Village Gondola) but bus service is available. Close to hot springs, bakeries, and the best pizza restaurant in the whole valley. A great place if you want to get away from the chaos in Hirafu.

We were some of the first people to stay at this place in Jan 2017. Booked pretty much last minute. I was coming from NY, and they basically had no presence on line or reviews yet. I actually only found it because it showed up on Google maps the day I booked it... Honestly couldnt have been better. Great place, great accommodations, amazing views, easy access to the mountain, and super cool hosts.
