I asked for help with a fuse for my locks in my car. The Caucasian guy working told me they dont do that he explained where the panel was and sarcastically said i can do it myself. I always see other people get help with different parts in the store but he immediately shut me down. I was the only person in store. Shame on you Advance if we dont buy ya parts how do you stay in business? Its is sad that people dont want to help or do the job they were hired to do.

11-28-20 I went to Advance Auto Parts in Colonial Heights next to Burger King and they were absolutely great. I had to get a new battery and getting the old one out was not easy. Danny was wonderful and had great customer service!!! Thank you

I come here for my parts for my Volvo! They have a really nice staff and for the most part advise you on what you need! Also they can order parts in and it usually doesnt take too long to arrive. I would recommend anyone who wants to get good quality parts to go here.

Bought a new battery from there. About a month later it was dead. Charged it up and went back. Girl at counter very nice and polite. Told her what had happened and for an exchange. No problem with her. The manager and another lady werent too happy and let me know! I had already checked the charging system and my meter showed all was great except for battery. Told me in a stern voice it was probably the alternator and after this switch not to come back for another one. Thats been 2 wks ago and no problem with battery. Kinda got me aggravated with their rudeness!! I will never go there again! Ive had my truck since 2004 so I know my truck!!

Worst ever. We work on cars a lot but today they under priced us over the phone, sold us the wrong part and then tried to charge an additional 40 dollars for the right one. Went to Greyline and they actually know what they are doing. Advanced auto you need people who know cars.

The staff is well educated.. Just there is this one lady that needs to stop treating people like they are stupid. Her social skills needs to be worked on a bit. Its just the way she talks to people.

Good customer service they just didnt offer the battery pricing and warranties to back up the product that I was currently looking for.

The guy Mike took his time draping with an oil filter for a VW. Even used his phone when company gateway blocked him. Always have excellent customer service. Speed perks is a great program. Try it!

Typical Advanced Auto. They pretty much have anything you need, and if not they can order it. Staff is knowledgeable but doesnt have much personality. But, what can you expect?

No thrill getting car parts and supplies- right? Cars arent my thing really. Im a bicycle man. I do own two vehicles however and they need care. Now- if they sold bicycles like Western Auto did.....

Wow what a great experience with this store.After our 2010 Hyundai Veracruz broke down on us traveling through VA at 6:30 on a Sunday. I called the Advance store to ask for some help. We thought it was a battery and after speaking to Tammy she being very knowledgeable came to the same conclusion. The roadside assistance wanted to take the vehicle to Walmart and leave it in the parking lot for Monday morning. Tammy convinced the tow truck driver to bring it there so They could install a battery in it to get us going.The tow truck left us there around 8:00 pm which only gave Tammy an hour to figure out what was wrong install a battery run the codes and also determine we had a bad alternator which they couldn’t help install but made a great recommendation where to get it installed the following day. Tammy also went above and beyond trying to help us out with hotel accommodations since we couldn’t drive far on just the battery..If ya are ever in the area stop in an say hay to Tammy at Advance Store #2840Ya won’t be sorry!!!!!!!!
