I’ve had this 2016 Dodge Journey in the shop twice for service, with an upcoming appt 8/16 only for my car to break down in the middle of the road. I purchased this vehicle 2/2021. I shouldn’t be having this much of an issue. I can’t believe it’s legal for a dealership to roll one over on someone that had a hard time in the past and now has terrible credit. All my payments have been on time and I used every drop of my tax money ($4,000) to put a down payment on this vehicle. Next time I’ll just purchase a vehicle beater. At least if I’m going to keep putting money on a vehicle it will be one that I’m not financing with a super high interest rate.

I recently got into an accident, and I was in desperate need of a car. I had already been kind of swindled by a different dealer, and I was just looking for something nice that wouldnt break the bank. Then I found Byrider, and oh my word was it a pleasant experience! Byrider isnt who they say they are. They DONT stand by their warranties or their end of the contract. When your vehicle starts having trouble, you wont be able to get anyone in their service department and you will have to pay for both towing(if your car just doesnt start anymore, like mine) and the entire bill to fix your car. They set you up to where you cant succeed with them! Please dont use them unless they are your only option!Also, Im only giving one star because it wouldnt allow me to not post a star!

The DAY we made a payment on our car, it broke down. We had it towed to the dealership, and its been there since Saturday waiting to get fixed. They said it would be fixed sometime this week. We knew it was the fuel pump that needed replaced before it even went in. Well, they just looked at it today, Thursday, which is nearly a week into them having it, and low and behold, its the fuel pump. BUT they dont have it in stock, so well be waiting yet another week before we get our car back. My partner works 2 jobs and has had to walk to work all this week and will have to continue doing so next week. Were not allowed to take it to another mechanic because it voids the warranty. Overall Im just disgusted. Do not recommend them to anyone.

I am currently a year into my 3 year finance contract and have had 2 times, when I was not using automatic bank draft, where I completely forgot to pay my biweekly payment. CNAC reps understood and were helpful. I have had my oil changed at the Clarksburg, WV location and it was a pleasant experience (only change oil from 7am-9am). The lobby had a box full of interesting toys (batteries included!), coloring books, and crayons; which was a plus, because my 4 YO was with me. Ryan W. was the salesman who helped me purchase the vehicle (found one in Morgantown which fit my budget). I have nothing but good things to say about JD Byrider Clarksburg.

I really have nothing but great things to say about this dealership. I’ve been to the garage for both major issues + upkeep and they have always taken care of my car needs and respected my concerns. The extra costs in the car you’re paying with interest (and the interest decrease as the loan goes on) covers there warranty alone. The warranty covers a HUGE majority of issues that you would not get anywhere else plus, only $25 for labor costs (Which is a HUGE chunk of change anywhere else.)Be realistic with your budget, your needs, and your credit and you will have a dealership that is nothing but the best help for you.

You will start out paying double what a vehicle is worth. Then doubled again with interest. So say a vehicle is vauled at 5,000. They will be asking 10,000 to 13,000 for it. Then add the interest and you will be paying around 20,000 to 26,000 for a vehicle thats only worth 5,000.

My husband and got a car here as our credit was still a bit low. The process took about 2 hours and we left with a car. Payments are taken every two weeks which is nice as they fall in paydays. The one star deduction is for the interest rate which is very high!!

Ryan Wilkinson is the man in Clarksburg WV, I found a good paying job and needed help fast within just a few days of time..Went to numerous banks and my credit wasnt good at all from going through a divorce and no bank would consider giving me chance...Decided to see if they would help me and sure enough was met at the entrance right away ...willing to help and here my situation ...within a matter of a few hours I drove away in a Chrysler 200 ...I have to say really friendly.understood everything that was going on ...treated me like a brother..was really comfortable .. definitely will speak highly of them and Ryan..he should be running that place !!!

They waited until the last minute to let my son know they couldnt give him a car 🚙... Who does that? Not only were they extremely unprofessional but had a very nonchalant attitude about the whole matter.... I wouldnt recommend this dealership to anyone!

Customer service is great there. Scott is a fantastic person, but mechanical work is the problem. When you are constantly bringing your car back over and over for same problem. That is a problem. I took my car somewhere else and never had the issue again. I think they need more cameras in the garage so they can see exactly what their mechanics are doing.

I have been 100% happy with the entire process and everyone that I dealt with at JD Byrider. In short, they gave me a chance when no one else would. Everything is clear and well documented. I absolutely and completely recommend JD Byrider to anyone with less than perfect credit who needs a quality vehicle and a chance to improve your financial standing.

JDB is wonderful if you don’t have credit or a large enough down payment,BUT they use their own banking system. Meaning they can charge whatever they want for a used vehicle. I’m paying(after financing)over $23K for a 2013 Chevy Cruze. I paid over $15K for a 2010 Chevy Cobalt before this. My first car had little to no problems, but this Cruze...the radio stopped working within 8 hours of buying the vehicle & it took 2 months to fix the sound & 3 months to finally fix the screen. They did fix the radio for free! The thermostat stopped working within 3 months. They fixed that too, for the $25 fee.

They sell lemons. I inspect alot of cars bought from them. They do quick fixes that dont fix the problems. And they lie to you boldly about lemon laws. You would have better luck buying a vehicle privately rather than dealing with these crooks. Not to mention the better business bureau has taken them off their list for these reasons and more.

The sales people are nice. The bank they finance through is a pos. They will tell you one thing and then turn around and tell you that they never said that. I wouldn’t even recommend using them as a last resort. Cars are crazy overpriced to begin with and once interest is added you may as well have bought a brand new one twice.

Payments are too high. They dont give car fax like they advertise. Both vehicles I paid off I received car fax after the fact and my mini van had been totalled in California and Illinois!!! And it really doesnt effect your as well as they advertise

The paperwork is extremely long and I do think that the car was a tad bit over priced but I loved it and I really need a car for work. I would definitely recommend JD Byrider to others.
