Placed an order for topsoil delivery on 3/31 and my credit card was charged. Delivery was supposed to be yesterday, 4/2. I stayed home all day waiting. Called around 3pm yesterday to check on the status, Mark said I was on the delivery schedule but not the route. I admit I dont know what this means but it doesnt sound good. No one showed. No one called. Trying to call this morning and they arent answering their phone and the voice mail is full.Edit - just got Mark on the phone. (10:15 on 4/3) He sent a note to the manager, Dan, about the order. Apparently I need Dans approval for a refund. Waiting to hear back from Dan now.(4/5) Had to call Ohio Mulch three times. Was turfed to an unknown voice mail, left a message. Called again, got transferred to Matts cell (he manages the Columbus stores) and actually talked to Matt! Matt said hed impress upon Dan that I should be called. And - DAN CALLED omg. Dan made up a story about my delivery being rescheduled for tomorrow. (sure it was lol!) My refund was processed and Dan apologized for not bothering on Saturday when I asked him point blank about it.I wish I had believed all the reviews on Yelp and the BBB about this company. The negative reviews for Ohio Mulch are accurate.In summary, Ohio Mulch will take your money but not deliver your product. They will not respond to your emails, they will not return calls, and youll be stuck waiting for a delivery that wont happen. Its no way to do business in my mind, but apparently treating customers like this works for them.

I deliver to here. A little tricky to get into the dock, with a 53 trailer. You will need to blind-side, while watching out for pallets and dropped green waste.Otherwise, looks like they have a decent selection of products. Inside the store looks great. Nice paved lot.

Have a business account with them. Service over past few months getting worse. Today, I stopped in to order 6 yards of mulch & 3 ton of stone. Asked the attendant about possible delivery and was told it could be done today. I asked again to be sure, not a problem. They werent that busy. Great! So I thought. Paid for the materials and getting ready to leave and found they didnt add the delivery charge. The girl there asked someone how to charge just for the two delivery fees. Young guy jumped in pretty much called her a dumbs**t in front of me. Then told me I couldnt get delivery until Tuesday or Wednesday. When I mentioned what the others had told me, I was pretty much told me no f****n way. I just wanted to point out what the others said and he cut me off basically told me to f***o**.Asked for my money back. Seemed pretty happy to blow off a $400+ order from a business owner.

It’s had a while since I’d been in, due to an issue from a couple years ago, but I’m really glad I stopped. It’s almost like a whole different company with the people they have working there now, the office staff was friendly and helpful and the guys in the yard promptly got me loaded up even though they were extremely busy. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone!

Stopped on Memorial Day and really needed a delivery done that same day (wasn’t expecting people to want to help in my yard) I was told that their schedule was full for that day, but then the manager came out and offered to do the delivery himself because they had an unused truck on the lot. I had my mulch within the hour! If I could give 6 stars I would, what a great staff!

I would never recommend this place to anyone. They could careless about the quality of their products. I bought 1 scoop of masonry sand to put underneath our new pool liner we are installing. Dump it all into the bottom of our pool and there is mulch and rocks EVERYWHERE! Obviously there cant be anything in the sand because it can break the liner. Called up there and all they said was sorry we are a mulch company. Well if you are just a mulch company maybe you shouldnt sell sand. Worst experience ever and will never go back to them. Now going on 4 hours trying to get the mulch and rocks out of our sand.

Decent selection, good prices, and they do the lifting. They usually have good deals on bags of dirt and mulch. The staff is generally friendly.

Store is now under new management and been completely transformed into a fantastic place to buy all your supplies for any landscaping needs.

This place is a f***en joke all sights claim to be open and they are apparently closed for the season....at least update your website with your actual operating hours... considering you charge a fee to dump. As to not waste peoples time.

God awful service. Expect to wait an hour to get your mulch. Outrageous prices. Paid double the amount at Ohio mulch vs any where else. Would recommend spend your money and time else where. Terrible.

I normally dont post any comments and I dont want to give a 1 star post, but this is something that I have to vent about. I have been doing business with this company and location for over 10 years and the service and quaulity of the mulch is absolutely terrible for the last 2 years. I also am in agreement with another persons comment about the Black Accents bagged mulch right out of the bag at least 25 of the 50 bags I had delivered are dryed out and gray a far cry from black as it states on the bag, will be grayed out in a few weeks. I also had problems with the delivery that I payed $75.00 for. I ordered 50 bags on March 27th I was told that it would be delivered on April 1st never got the delivery or a phone call telling me that they couldnt make the delivery, I had even called around noon on April 1st to double check that the delivery was goung to be made and I was told yes, never arrived. The following morning I called at 8 am and was told that I was first to be delivered to and they would arrive in 45 minutes to an 1 hour I only live 10 minutes from the store location. I ended up calling the corporate office to get my mulch delivered 1 day and 3 hours late. I will never do business with this company again. I guess good customer services is a thing of the past. Just one more item to mention this happened last year as well, completely missed the entire delivery didnt get scheduled, they did however make the delivery and through in a few extra bags of mulch for the mistake. Will not be doing business with Ohio Mulch in the future.

OMG This place is THE place to go for anything landscaping! You HAVE to walk around the building to see the beautiful variety of stone they have. I never knew there are so many types of mulch. They deliver in a timely manner. The store manager is a wealth of information. I was so overwhelmed with a couple projects I wanted to do myself and they assured me that with a little patience even a 63 year old woman could handle putting pavers down the side of the drive and also pavers from the side yard to the deck. The management is A+++ in my book!
