Our landscaping got out of hand and we needed a makeover. David from D2 Landscaping was outstanding. The estimate was very reasonable and the work was timely. David was easy to talk with and answered all my questions. The D2 team was timely and courteous. The crew asked me questions during the process to make sure they understood what we wanted. Definitely worth it! I recommend D2 to friends, neighbors, and family!

We had quite the laundry list of projects for Dave and his team. This included re-routing a drain, digging a french drain on the side of our home, and building a patio (which also required the building of a retaining wall). He was very prompt, courteous and professional. His teams did exceptional work and I would highly recommend Daves company to anyone. He has a great local small business!

I’ve been waiting to write this review in hopes that it’d be a bit better. My fiancé and I hired D2 to help us bring up the level of our yard, properly grade, and re-seed after our new driveway was put in this past winter and no longer allowed for rain water to properly drain. After Dave and his crew at D2 quoted us a fair price for the work and were very professional in their communication, we were excited to get the project done! They were able to fit us into their schedule fairly quickly and finished within the day they’d started (as shown in first two pics). Within 48 hours a heavy rain essentially wiped out all their hard work and well… frankly the water still sat in the backyard with no where to go (as seen in pics 3 & 4). We’d contacted Dave with our concerns which prompted a second visit and he was kind enough to tell us he’d reach out to us to schedule a day that they could come re-do the work stating that they should have used a different soil type that wouldn’t be as porous (aka we needed something more clay-like than what was used) and understood we were looking for the best result they were capable of providing. It has now been at least a month since we attempted to last contact Dave and we’ve essentially given up on our back yard that we have been trying all summer to fix ourselves the best we could (pics 5 & 6 of the yard as of last week). It all comes back to the point that it won’t drain properly still and there’s nothing we can do short of re-doing the whole project ourselves. We’d hoped it’s just a combination of a busy landscaping schedule and a lot of rain that’s holding up communication with D2, but at this point we don’t have much hope we will be in contact with them any time soon.

Do not use! I was extremely optimistic at first. They came out, quoted the project, and even started the work in a timely manner. We had them do a bunch of weeding and landscaping and some drainage work. After the fact I realized they never installed the weed barrier cloth they quoted us for and that we paid for. They also relocated a couple of bushes, which died immediately. The photo I posted is from not long after the project was done - looks like garbage. As other reviewers have stated, the owner apparently likes to win projects, get your money and then ghost you afterwards. So frustrating.

Had to get two new retaining walls built on either side of my driveway. D2 was the best value and did an amazing job. They were very professional, always on time and communicated during the project. The work was excellent. Ive received many comments on how great it looks. Would highly recommend D2 to anyone and will use them again on future.

I cannot say enough about how great the work was that D2 did for us! They were very courteous, timely, and responsive to our requests and comments. They were also very respectful of our property and did an amazing job cleaning up.We had two retaining walls and a deck built and we absolutely love them! They did very high quality work and it was done quickly. We are extremely happy with the work they did and we definitely recommend them to others and will use them again!

D2 was incredibly responsive and timely. During a time when nobody is taking new work, D2 was quick and communicated effectively. From quote to work completed was less then five days. Dave was super responsive and able to get us into an extra evening slot to do all our mulch work and we even added on an extra service for some new sod to complete our yard!

Working with Dave and Khalil was a pleasure. We went over the details of the project and in no time at all, we all had a shared understanding of what was supposed to happen. They then developed a plan of action, implemented it, and the final deliverables matched the shared vision of what the outcome was supposed to be. The price charged for the work was reasonable. The work was completed in one day. Everyone we met throughout the entire process was courteous and professional. I cant say enough good things about working with D2. Ill definitely be using their services in the future as needs arise.

Called D2 for some advice on what to do with our yard and David came out and gave us a few options and we decided to give us some creeping phlox! It looks so beautiful already, they were so speedy and cleaned up very nicely! This is a locally owned business so we’re so happy with the work they did!

I hired for some fence repair and minor landscaping work. Not one picket on the fence was plumb, and the top profile is like a roller coaster. And the landscaping items were not done per contract. After two days of trying to get the work done correctly, I told him to just leave. Today I discovered something new that wasnt done per contract, so I decided to warn others. (I do not live in Seattle.)

Can’t say enough about D2 - Extremely happy customer! I would HIGHLY recommend them. They put in a paver patio and fire pit for us. David was awesome throughout the planning process. He was responsive and very transparent about options and cost, listened to what we wanted and gave great suggestions when we weren’t sure. Roger led the install and he is a patio ninja. He was professional, polite, extremely detail-oriented and took his time to do the job right. When it was done he laid new topsoil and grass seed (we weren’t even expecting that!) and cleaned up every scrap. This is a stand-up group of people who take pride in their work, and it shows!

I needed to have some landscape timber removed and a new retaining wall installed. I am very pleased with the result. D2 was very professional, communication was excellent, and work done promptly.

Wish that I could post a positive experience. David signed a contract to complete landscaping and outdoor construction services (retaining wall and driveway) at our home in NKY. Work never started, - Dave/D2 has not returned calls/emails/letters and contract has (to this date) been ignored. Truly difficult to understand. Be cautious!

I hired D2 Landscaping to re do my back yard. They added a paver patio seating area, Weston block seat wall around the gas fire pit. We absolutely love the workmanship of the patio and fire pit everything is holding up nicely! I was a bit skeptical on the paver ideas but I am glad I went the paver route rather the boring concrete slab. Highly recommend David and D2 Landscaping.

I received a email quote from Dave. I agreed to him to start work on 1 of my properties I own and he never showed up. He ensured me he would be there to start that day. He would not answer my calls or text after that. He seems like a great smooth talker. He was no cheaper then the next company now makes sense why he was not so busy. After digging and finding a few other hidden messages and reviews. I found the work is extremely poor and not reliable from what others has said. I think this is bad business and must use at your own risk. However I am glad I went with someone else do to fact of myself didnt want to pay twice for same job like other folks are saying.
