Had a tough time finding this place based upon Google maps. Called and was given directions from where I was, but a train was stopped on the tracks across the crossing. Finally had to take a different route. Staff was very helpful once I arrived. Purchased grass seed and straw. Feel good about my purchases and the staff that I interacted with. They were knowledgeable and helpful. I will absolutely return!!

I have always used forest little for my mulch. The quality and service is excellent. They are on time for delivery and that is very helpful. I must say I wasn’t pleased with the placement of the mulch. They literally stacked the bags against the garage. Many of the bags had broken open and when I opened the garage I had to clean up the mulch that had spilled out of the bags. I also had to move bags to get my car in and out.I realize that I need to give better instructions... but I also didn’t like that so many of the bags were open.

Friendly persona service from knowledgeable staff at their Finneytown location. Everything you need for yard projects from Grass seed to mulch. I have been buying from them for years and always liked the people and products. The have delivery too!

I have owned my home for thirty years. During that time I have used the same company to landscape including re-mulching. For 21 or the past 22 years, the mulch came from Forest Lytle. The cost to me for mulch from Forest Lytle exceeds $20,000. This year I visited their dump of a store to look at mulch options and compare price. I selected a mulch and asked questions about price. My landscaper then purchased 195 bags of mulch for $6.99 per bag, the same price charged if you bought 1 bag. When I saw the bill it was much higher than I expected based on the information I had from my visit to ask about type and cost of mulch. I decided to take the invoice to the dump/store and ask for and explanation. Before going I visited White Oak Nursery and found a similar product for $5.99 and if purchasing 10 or more the price was $4.99.When I returned I was greeted by a man I learned is named Steve Viola. When I explained why I was there and that I needed an explanation of the mulch cost he stopped listening and SCREAMED at me to get the F BLANK BLANK K out of the dump/store. I took a few steps toward the door and turned to say something (I was shocked by the outburst) and he made a threating gesture and SCREAMED the same get the f--k out again .Steve Viola is part of the ownership of this company. The shabby condition of the store, the poorly trained staff and the unprofessional ownership make this place a disaster......STAY AWAY.

Good Prices...BAD SERVICE. The first time I stopped and waited and waited until the staff was done chatting wiith the regulars...I didnt say anything and they did have a good price on mulch. This second time, there were no regulars and I was still basically ignored while one guy was stocking shelves and the other stared at my tee shirt and then turned away. I finally walked out without buying anything and will not return.
