Do not go to this place if an older lady is working the counter. She is extremely rude and disrespectful . I am a college student and I used to go here multiple days a week. I always ordered a coffee when I went. One day, I drank my coffee really fast and sat there for a couple hours doing homework. She came up to me and said that if I wanted to stay here I had to order a coffee. First of all, when has that ever been a thing at any coffee place that you have been to order a coffee. A lot of people go just to use the wifi and have a cozy place outside of their home to do work. When I explained to her I already did and I drank it all, she looked at me and said “well I appreciate it but the attitude isn’t needed”. Needless to say I will never be going back. She ruined my experience here. She has always been rude to me anytime I have been there, but this time was just the last straw.

Amazing local coffee shop!! Every drink I’ve had here has been excellent and the staff is amazing. If you are there on a day Tony is working be prepared to smile. Always in a contagiously good mood!

Good coffee, staff has always been friendly and a nice spot if you need somewhere for online meeting. Good breakfast sandwich. My only complaint is sometimes they run out of baked goods.

Enjoy their coffee. The pumpkin spice seasonal is very good. Not sugary, yet flavorful. Visited yesterday. Husband and I went in today @noon and was told a private party was going on. Light, handwritten note on the door. Oh well, we missed seeing it, but the door was open. A little uncomfortable, but honestly...a chips and soda private party on a Saturday at a coffee house? Then lock the door if you are refusing customers. Went down the way to Coffee Emporium and had a caramel & butterscotch house blend and the best gluten free cranberry coconut breakfast cookie & burrito.

The coffee is very good! Ive personally had a few of their drinks, and I prefer the lattes / cappuccinos over the drip coffee. Also, a very spacious location. I had no issues finding a spot to study or read, even at peak time (late morning on the weekend).

I am introduced to the co-owner of this place and I must say it is a hidden gem in Cincinnati. Unlike most franchised coffee shops, this place has its own unique culture to promote conversations, networking, and enjoying nice cups of coffee and tea (and most importantly their chocolate and wine are delicious!)

Atmosphere was good inside. Coffee was ok. You get 4-6oz cappuccino for $3.50 (normally 12oz costs $3.45 elsewhere). I found the entrance was very confusing.

Decided to go somewhere, anywhere, that wasnt a Starbucks. A quick google search brought us to Hyde Perk. Ill be honest, the name alone reminded me of Central Perk from Friends, and that was really the determining factor. Anywho, the parking lot for the plaza was tiny, and having an SUV with a trailer was not working out. Then we found the sorta creepy back alley / drive through lane.The lady at the window was super nice, and handed us a menu. I had gotten a decaffeinated blended dirty chai, and my wife chose the Respect Your Elderberry. I wasnt a fan of her drink, personally I like things a little sweeter, and she hated mine, due to the cinnamon content - but we each loved our own drinks. She noted that the tea bags are draw string sacks made on site... which was neat.Downside? While we werent able to go in and scope the atmosphere, check the cleanliness of the bathrooms, or test wifi speeds, we did order one of their Made Fresh Daily Banana Nut Muffins, and it was not delicious to either one of us.Overall, we recommend this place for its coffee and teas, but not for its pastry offerings. Maybe we just got a bad muffin, were willing to give them another try in the future!

Coffee was decent, atmosphere was very chilly, too cool to sit inside. Barista seemed to lack some knowledge when promoted. In the end, would probably seek out elsewhere.

Totally love this cozy spot! I come here to work, and will stay for a few hours. Its right next door to Aladdins where you can get super yummy vegan food! And theres always good parking. :)

First time this morning for coffee. I love the small independent coffee shop. Many varieties of espresso drinks. Wine is also available. I cant wait to visit again and see whats on the menu. A comfortable place to relax. They also have a drive thru.

I stopped in on a Sunday on a whim. It was packed but there were two loungers available so i took that. Relaxing atmosphere for sure. People were working so it was fairly quiet which i liked. Easy parking, plenty tables and seats of various types, good drink options INCLUDING WINE, and free WiFi! What more can you ask for?!

I love that this place has a drive up window! The only other places in the area with a drive thru are chains. This place has super good quality options and an extremely nice group of employees!

Wine and chocolate flights!! The staff here is always friendly; the owner cake over and explained our pairings to us and why certain flavors work well together.Ive had coffee and tea here as well and its always well done. If youre in the area and looking for a chill spot to get some work done or wrap up a date night, this is a good choice

Love Kidd Coffee & Wine Bar in Hyde Park! I always have my business meetings there. Very centrally located and at this kind of weather, I love the fireplace! also good for a group meeting of 8-10. Their Dirty Chai, London Fog etc. are delicious! Staff very helpful. They will bring you glass and water if you just want to sit down and have a meeting... make sure you leave some tips :-)

Hyde Park is a great place to get coffee, whether you go through the drive-thru or go in. I had, hands down, the most perfect latte. I found out they also serve alcohol, as well as have a happy hour. You can get a bucket of Cincinnati beer, wine, and so forth. The atmosphere is if sort of rustic decor, with plenty of salvaged wood and a fireplace. Not too large, not too small, definitely cozy. I also definitely appreciate they have live music and other events. Its also great that they close at 10 p.m.

Phenomenal baristas, caring and personable, willing to help you make a quality choice when ordering. I hope they are getting paid a quality wage! However the brownies were missing during my latest visit :-( and wondering if the punch card for wine/snacks is in the realm of possibility

The coffee is great. Their teas are all loose leaf. Came in on a Saturday morning and got to relex in a comfortable place. Also they have a drive through, which is different for an artisan coffee shop.

If ur looking for a place for multiple ppl with tea/coffee and alcohol this is a good one. Very calm too for those who like quiet for any reason and find loud bars distracting or annoying.

Oh this was such an excellent latte. Perfect temperature, super foamy top, with a delicate design poured in milk. Others in my group enjoyed their macchiato and chai lattes. Pastries were served on white marble tiles, which had a nice aesthetic sitting on the table made of a repurposed wood door. The six of us pushed together two tables to sit together in front of the fireplace. A few were too warm, but Im always freezing so to me it felt just right. The unisex one-room restroom was clean, and had the most beautiful light fixtures. I was pleased to see a small supply of feminine hygiene products available. We spent about an hour enjoying our drinks and the complimentary water.

My favorite hometown spot. As I work from home, I need somewhere to squat for hours and have good coffee, strong wifi and even the occasional glass of wine. Hyde Perk is perfect for that. And the employees and mgt is fabulous.
