Bill was fantastic! We came here on vacation and woke up this morning and our car wouldn’t start. I called around and he was reasonably priced, he even hooked me up with a great tow service. He got my car in today and fixed within hours. There were cars in front of me (expected since it was last minute!) but he still made sure he fit me in. You bring your car to have him look at it. He takes forever to look at it. You call and get no answer. You go up there to take your car to a different mechanic and he says he fixed it WITHOUT TELLING YOU WHAT WAS WRONG OR HOW MUCH IT WILL COST. My car cost a pretty penny. Luckily I had the money. Only for the parts he so called replaced have to get FIXED again not even 90 days out of his shop! You won’t have no luck! Especially screwing over black people! SHAME ON YOU!

Bill Smith and his team are great. Hes taken care of both my car and my girlfriends car.You know that feeling of uncertainty or frustration when you take your car to a repair shop to get fixed? Bill turns all of that around. Every time I leave Bills place Im beyond happy - he always fixes our car problems and always helps me save money, wherever/whenever possible.He fixed my girlfriends alternator issue in her Toyota Corolla a year and a half ago. He fixed/replaced my O2 sensor in my Lincoln MKZ about 6 months ago. A couple of days ago he replaced my wheel bearing on my MKZ. Hes been a professional every time Ive worked with him.Not kidding you, hes the only mechanic Ill take my car to as long as I live in Cincinnati.He only wants to help you, get your issue fixed, and get you back on the road... and for that I thank you, Bill.

I got my Mercedes Benz done there. I had got into a accident and my front hood,finder and bumper needed repair. When I asked them how much it would be they gave me a price. They wasn’t particular On how much I needed to have. I brung a bumper and two fenders. If you know Mercedes you know that it’s has a lot of sensors. I had a good sensor missing also some light damage on the car. He didn’t say well if you need that light repairs it’ll be this amount of money no. So they end up doing a horrible job. The hood wasn’t probably closed. My light ended up not working on the left side. HORRIBLE JOB ! Don’t go to them at all

Let me just start by saying Bill is amazing, he staff is amazing. They was very quick, they was easy on my budget. I will definitely be coming back if I have anymore car trouble. It is close to my job ( The Law Office Of Blake Maislin). I thought I needed an Alternator but turned out my batter battery cable was not connected correctly. He had me in and out the same day. They had fixed my windshield wiper transmission within 8 minutes. Taken apart and put back together. I was as impressed as a person can get!! 10/5 stars!

The proprietor, Bill, does professional work at a fair price in a reasonable amount of time.I had these guys redo the brake lines and fabricate and weld a collar, in order to repair a crack, in the muffler of my 1998 Honda Civic last year.The break lines were done well, double checked, and test-driven in order to ensure a job done right.The exhaust repair was a custom fit and saved me over $100 on replacement parts. The craftsmanship on the collar fab and on the weld itself was spot-on.Im currently having Bill work on my 1994 Toyota Corolla. The work involves replacing two motor mounts, mounting and balancing two new tires, replacing the window regulator and motor in my drivers side door, replacing my front brake pads, and replacing the left and right rear quick-struts.All told I am saving over $80 in comparison to my other estimate, with additional punch-list items completed.

I had a great experience here. I know next to nothing about cars--but I will say that this place has all of the great perks of a small business. The issues with my car were diagnosed quickly and explained clearly to me, and no unnecessary services were pushed. Parts and labor were very fairly priced. One mechanics wife even gave me a ride to class while they worked on my car. Two hours later I picked up my car and it runs great. I will definitely be coming back if I have any other issues with my car. HIGHLY recommend!

The best experience Ive ever had at an auto repair shop. These guys saved me on a VERY tight timeline and went FAR beyond what I could have expected. After I blew a spark plug on the interstate during a long journey from Canada, they worked late to get me up an going again to meet a deadline. Honest, helpful, reasonable, and deserving of more business. Id give 6 stars if possible. Thanks again.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!! He charged me for 2 rotors and did not replace either of them. My car was acting up about a week after he “fixed” it so I had my uncle who works on cars look at it, he had to change both of my rotors and said they have not been changed in a long time.

Thank God I found them. The best mechanics I have ever encountered and I am pushing sixty. I have an older BMW and was sick of BMW dealership prices. These guys were the best. Honest and so informative I knew I was in good hands for a change. As a Walnut Hills resident for five years I just wish I had tried them out years ago. Truly an exceptional find in the community. I recommend them to anyone with any kind of vehicle and they also do body work so you have a one stop shop.Id give them ten stars if I could.

All I can say is Bill is truly a great person. My tire popped after hitting a pothole and his shop was conveniently right next to where I parked. Even though his shop was closed, I gave him a call and he helped me out.

Owner is a sleaz bag who jacks up rates, doesnt answer calls and then drives his customers cars at his leisure. What was supposed to be a quick job took months and when I finally got the car back, his car charger was in there and my car was missing the battery cover! He is obviously not to be trusted. I reached out to him several times to get my car back and he often dodged my calls. He was not up front about payment and demanded cash after agreeing to credit cards, PayPal and checks. I will never go back to this guy, but I will actively persuade people from going to him.

Superior service at a great rate. Cuts out the corporate overhead by going to a family run business. Here, they actually care about doing the job right the first time.

He did water pump on my hubbys car and needless to say its running perfect it is hard to get him to go to new mechanics because he has a family mechanic but all of his expectations were met awesome awesome mechanic

My husband brought his car up here and came back frustrated these guys do not know what their doing. There’s no real office or phone number to contact someone just a lost person with a cellphone complete waste of time ended up having to take our Lincoln elsewhere.

Always answers his cell phone, close to UC Campus; you will get a nice STUDENT DISCOUNT if you mention it to him. I continuously recommend him to my friends/family/coworkers/Uber/Lyft Drivers as you should too.

Wow the best auto repair shop in town or anywhere Bill is killing it

They get the work done on my car really fast, usually the same day that I take it in. Beyond the fast service, the job gets done right and the prices are good.

I was driving my 1 year old home today for her nap and I caught (litterally) some of the construction happening on McMillian, which put a metal attachment/nail into my tire. I pulled right into Affordable Auto Repair and within 20 minutes, I had another tire on, my old one in the trunk and a friendly estimate for the other damage this metal contraption had done to my fender. They gave me an incredible deal and couldnt have been more pleasent to talk with. I will be back and I also will be sending more people here. Thank you again, for saving our day a lot of time and hassle.

Affordable and honest

I highly recommend this place the first time I took my car in I didnt know what was wrong bill called me a couple days later saying it was one thing and it would be $850 then called the next day saying they were wrong it was something else and it would only be $400 he could have kept the price the same but didnt was honest about it I brought the van back a couple weeks later for the same problem and this time he found out exactly why it kept happening and fixed it he is very reasonable on his prices and will be getting all my business from now on

This place is a joke. I brought my car to them a brand new Honda Civic 2017 to replace a broken mirror and a few minor scrapes they got my car 11/13/17 I called a few days later to check on the repair the guys didn’t know who I was or what car I was talking about. Every other days after I have to constantly remind them of who I was they would tell me their waiting on a mirror the person didn’t deliver it they tried to deliver it when they weren’t there etc a bunch lies. They kept telling me it’ll be ready the next day and how nice my car was blah blah bla. Now I only picked this place because their open late enough for me to pick my car up after work and no other shop was but I wish I would have waited. I went up To the shop on 11/22 because they told me it would be ready I call no ones picking up but yet their hours are until 10pm and it’s only 6pm at this time. I got dropped off up there the guy doing the repairs wasn’t there. The mirror they put on my car was used, scraped and not the color of my car also they didn’t paint it at all but kept telling me all they was waiting on was the mirror when I would call so imagine my shock when I get up there and my car is looking the same with a old mirror on it I ended up having to get a Lyft Home. They made it sound good saying they would waive the deductible which was great all I wanted was my mirror fixed and my scrapes painted and they were getting an over $700 pay day why they couldn’t give me a brand new mirror when it’s less than $150 for one that’s the color of my car. I was even courteous enough after I was not responded to all night about what was going on with my car to allow them two additional days to fix my car. They kept saying they have to detail the car and blah blah blah which they didn’t do my car still had the plastic from them painting when I came to get it I made my payment to them because the car looked okay signed the check over and all but as I got on the highway a few days later I heard whistling in my car from the mirror area and when I looked at the mirror it was cracked. I complained to the BBB due to the lack in communication and professionalism from this place and they responded back with a bunch of lies stating they gave me a rental they replaced a bracket I brought the police up there. None of that’s happened this is just another example of why this place is getting one star I’d give less if I could maybe this place okay for older cars I don’t know there was a man there complaining the same night I couldn’t get ahold of the owner to get my car back stating he didn’t think they knew what they were doing and I think he may be right. I would not recommend them for body work to a new car maybe something under 2010 but nothing new. They are so unorganized and full of excuses. I tried to contact them about the crack in my mirror they told me to come up there and show them I come to the shop at 11am last Saturday and no one was there. I was going to attempt to come up there again this week until I got that bogus response from the BBB of them mixing me up with another customer. They said they got me a rental lol I work From Home I Shop including grocery shop online and I have my mothers car for when I really need to leave their going to try and say I fabricated this response so I’m not tearing up their 5 star rating but I don’t know If it’s that their real customers don’t know how to go online and complain but I do. Everything I am saying is a fact they even said I brought he police up there and they still have my car and I took the keys smh this was not me my insurance has a copy of a cleared check from this place. It very frustrating and concerning when you’re in trusting someone with your possesions and they don’t know Dick from Harry from Sue. I should have know something was up when I was calling a cellphone and not a real place of business they need a secretary or something here

Unless you’re car needs an oil change I wouldn’t recommend they don’t have the capacity to work on multiple vehicles and they use cheap replacement parts for repairs and not insurance quality
