I tried to buy a car here and they had told me to come back later because they were busy to do a test drive and because the car needed serviced and said to come back Monday. So he called me Monday and said it’s going into service so I can’t test drive it today and he will call me immediately and let me know when I can come check it out and get it. Then the next day he calls me back making me think it’s done just to find out they sold it to someone else!?! How can they sell the car to someone else if 1 it’s being serviced and 2 if someone else is already interested and trying to get the car? DO NOT EVER COME HERE TO BUY A CAR because their just gonna sell it out from underneath you!!!

Cheryl was so knowledgeable about the telluride which is the only vehicle we were interested in. Everyone was so kind, everything was so clean, everything was ready for us when we got there after having driven 1.5 hours to get there and having to drive all the way home. We recently purchased 2 vehicles from Jim Butler Kia and I can’t say enough great things about our experience! Our sales person Jean (ask for him, you won’t regret it) was 100% dedicated to helping us get exactly what we wanted and after many car purchases in our lifetime it was the very first time the numbers where actually lower when we walked into finance than what we were told. We walked in and a hour later drove away with no nonsense or haggling. Scott in finance was also great, no pressure on purchasing extras, warranties, etc. It will definitely be our dealership from here on out and my answer whenever anyone asks for a recommendation. Very happy to have done business with them.
I must say out of all the Kia dealership in Missouri this is my favorite one! I always come here to get my car worked on and to look at all the beautiful kia cars they have here. I one day want to buy my stinger from them when I can afford one 😏 I met this great car sales lady name Jaclyn Allison. Shes sooo amazing and is honest with her work! I recommend talking to her if you need a car she will try her hardest to get you into a kia today! If not today soon! Over all I would always come to this dealership! I called because I saw a listing for a $40,000 car that Im interested in purchasing. I didnt ever connect to a real person when I called. This establish then proceeded to call me multiple times a day with no response. Today I received a call from a private number which I ignored. I then received a Voicemail from this private number explaining that it was Jim Butler kia! I have the voicemail saved, and Id love to send it over to the management team for assessment. When I called the receptionist to express my frustrations, she ensured me that I was wrong, they did not do that, and then proceeded to talk over me AND HANG UP. Needless to say, if you call this establishment and Annie answers the phone, you wont get a friendly, patient voice. Youll get hung up on and spoken over. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.After listening to this voicemail once more, Ive found that ANNIE called me from said private number. Now shes lied, and I have a voice recording that Id love to show to her boss. Im so disappointed that a business would employ such an unkind and untrustworthy person.

My wife’s Kia Optima engine light was flashing last Friday. We had it towed to Jim Butler Kia because they always do amazing service work! Well this time they went above and beyond for us! Keith Sutton the service advisor let us know the engine would need to be replaced, but at no cost! He also provided us with a rental car while the engine was ordered and replaced in less than one week! Talk about amazing customer service! I had been treated poorly at another Kia dealership in South County but really like all the Kias Ive owned over the last several years, so I went to Jim Butler to see how they do business. They exceeded my expectations, and I bought one from them instead of the much more handy dealer close to my house in Affton. I have to alter my review of Jim Butler Kia. I purchased a 2019 Soul and the car was supposed to be detailed before I picked it up. They had 4 days to accomplish the task. When we went to get it, the passenger side door handle was full of paper trash. There was dirt on the floor and in the back. Also, I went back a few days later to pick up a check and I gave them an extra key with the expectation of receiving a second key for the Soul, even texting the sales person with no response.Guess Ill have to go back to the previous dealership.
These are salesman who lie through their teeth. I bought insurance from the fourth Kia acquired from them and all have had problems, but the way Kia handles these problems is disturbing. First if they say bumper to bumper insurance they are lying, they said that to me and I just had to pay $300 for my ac. Next the first issue I had with my ac I brought in and told them that I hear a clicking when the ac is on, and it does it everytime. They then tell me they didnt see a problem as I go into my car and the heat is on. Next my engine was having issues making a loud very distinguished sound. I didnt get 1/4 of a mile from the dealership when my engine began to stall on the highway. I get back to the dealership and Keith claims they did all they had to do meaning thanks for all your buisness, but if you die or get in a wreck on the highway we dont care. Believe me folks do business with LITERALLY ANYONE ELSE

Called to inquire about a 2019 Charger GT for $27,450 and made an appointments to buy the car. MIND YOU, I am pre-approved and have a trade‐in valued at $4,400.The next day I get an alert that they increased the price by nearly 5,000 dollars. So, I sent an email stating that if the price has changed and we wont be offered the initial quoted price that we didnt want the car.Simple.The following morning (day of the scheduled appointment) Kathy calls to see if I was still coming in and I, again, stated that if we wont be able to buy the car at the initial quoted price that we would not be coming in and going elsewhere. She had the audacity to tell me that I need to worry about getting qualified with my challenged credit before worrying about the price of the car....yall...look... JUST KNOW they wont be getting A DIME OR RECOMMENDATION FROM ME!
My fiancee is a customer, she has her Kia Soul in the shop for a recall on the steering component. I was there with her all day on last Saturday. And we havent heard anything from your company yet to confirm if the problem is taking care of. And your staff was nice and was able to get us a rental vehicle for us to get around until it gets fixed.
They will state they have inventory online, and when you arrive in person it is not there. Disappointing to think this is just a ploy. Such a poor way to conduct business.

I have been looking to purchase a Kia Sportage for some time. I reached out to another dealership and it was a time consuming, terrible experience. Based upon that, I fully expected to be disappointed at Jim Butler Kia. Thankfully, that was not the case.I was initially contacted by Annie after my internet inquiry. She connected me to Kait, one of the sales people. Kait was awesome! She listened to me when I explained which features I wanted and my budget.She quickly narrowed down a few options. I drove over Friday night to take a look and start the process. Unfortunately, our credit union was closed, so the dealer couldnt contact them about our financing approval.Saturday morning, Kait reached out to make sure we were still coming to the dealership to finalize everything. By that time, I decided I wanted another feature, and she found a matching vehicle. My husband and I headed over after I was off work.She made the experience as enjoyable as possible. Tim in Finance was also very helpful in making sure we were within our budget, which I appreciated.
Our sales lady was extremely knowledgeable about the car we were interested in. She followed up with us, and even though we stayed late both nights she was very patient. Not a pushy car sales person, definitely would recommend this dealership.

Went in for an oil change, yet had concerns about a tire that seemed to be low constantly. They found a nail in side wall, able to install new tire and send me safely on the way. Glad they are reasonably priced for a car dealership. I found the friendliness and customer service of all employees to ne outstanding!
I dont have enough good things to say about them. Ive been a loyal customer for a few years now, and Ive never had a complaint or issue. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient, and their service team goes above and beyond every appointment. The little things that seem minor add a very nice touch, and it demonstrates just how much they appreciate their customers. Vacuuming the car or washing it after a simple oil change is just awesome.Speaking of the service team, I really appreciate that Ive never felt like theyre attempting to take advantage of me, or even talking down to me because Im not very knowledgeable about cars.They explain things in a comprehensive manner, inform you of potential trouble areas that you may encounter down the road (pun intended), and never pressure you for additional services.They appreciate when things are hard and are willing to work with you. They just educate you on the things that matter to give your vehicle a longer life.Customer service like that is incomparable, and thats the reason I choose them every time. I only regret not getting around to leaving a review sooner.
We had a motor go a few years ago on a Kia Optima while under warranty. Replacing the motor was covered BUT it took more than a month for them to switch it out and they never allowed us a courtesy car. Lots of back and forth and we really got upset about the whole situation.In 2020 we got a new Telluride there (since no one else had one) and get four free oil changes and tire rotations. The staff is gracious and the work seems well done. Each time they wash the car and seem to clean the inside. However be prepared to wait and wait and wait. They seem to overbook their staff. Ive waited almost 2 hours for a simple oil change/tire rotation.Weve had 3 Kias and really like them. First was bought in Kirkwood, second was bought in St. Peters and third was at this dealership. Salesperson was fine here but weve had bad experiences with the service department on multiple occasions and over multiple years and in multiple situations. St. Peters service dept is a lot better. If youre going to buy a Kia Id go there instead just to avoid this service dept.
Took our car in for a recall and a noise going on under the hood. They fixed the recall, gave back our car, and the noise was still there. We took it back, asked them to give it a test drive so they could listen to it. They called the next day, and told us it was fine - no noise, but when we picked it up, the mileage hadnt changed from when we dropped it off, which means they didnt take it out for a test drive. So now we have to take our car somewhere else to get it looked at. Would do 2 stars but the 2nd diagnostic was free, and they topped us off with oil so I guess thats something.

The first time I bought a car, I went to Lou Fusz Chevy in Saint Peter’s. It was the worst experience I have ever had. They were just trying to get cars off the lot and didn’t listen to what I wanted and I feel like I was taken advantage of because it was my first time buying a car. Well, a year later I’m in the market again because my car was not in good shape. I was referred to JEAN SILVERIO by my sister. It was the most seamless experience EVER! The whole crew at Jim Butler took care of me and I was pressed with time and they got everything done in a timely manner. I am driving a 2020 Kia Forte and have not had any problems, they hooked me up with rebates and even were generous on my trade in. Jean is amazing!!!!! Will recommend this place to everyone I know in the market for a new car.
My fiancé bought her car here and we had a smooth process with the purchase and her trade in. Nothing to complain about on that end. Our problem is with the management. We had a problem with her pre owned car not even a month after we bought it. They sold the car to us with a faulty tire. We did not realize this until a couple weeks after purchase. We provided evidence to prove it was like that before we bought it after looking back at photos we took of the car prior to purchase. We went into the dealer and talked to them about it and management said you are SOL unless you would like to pay to replace the tire. They said that they gave us to good of deal on the car and more for our trade in so they are not willing to work with us at all. I would not recommend Jim Butler Kia to anyone so they do not have to have the same problems that we have encountered! Do your research on the dealer before your purchase! They should of never sold the car like that. This issue is a major hazard and could of resulted in a fatal accident.
Would have loved to do business here. The sales experience was a night and day difference from what we experienced at Napleton. We could not justify paying $9,000+ over MSRP when Napleton offered us the same vehicle for $1,495 more.The staff here is amazing and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

After browsing multiple used car buying apps, the best deals I found on a couple were at this dealer. Cheryl came to my wife and I when we walked in and with 15-20 minutes went to get a Forte5, a Soul, and a Sportage we had picked out for me to test drive. Without saying it, she instantly knew I liked the 2017 Forte5 the best. She got me set up in it and waived some labor costs for added options, financed with Justin, and out the door all in the same relatively short visit.Flash forward: Just under a year later, I was rear ended on I-270 at a high speed in stopped traffic, spun around into the adjacent non-stopped lane, and hit head on again. The Forte5 probably saved my life and limbs, but it was beyond totaled and I was beyond messed up.A week later, we happened to be near the dealer so we stopped in since I needed a new car, just to browse. I didn’t see Cheryl, so I asked for her and someone went to her while she was on her lunch and told her, “You have a customer with a black eye wanting to see you...” She immediately set aside her lunch, came out and started looking through available Souls on their inventory website with me (she ended up selling 3 cars during this missed lunch). We came to Jim Butler Kia to trade our 2010 Chevy Cobalt that we were a little upside down in. We told Jordan our terms and that we wanted the Optima and he worked his butt off and made it happen! He was upfront, honest, kind and very respectful throughout the whole process. I never once felt pressure to do anything we werent comfortable with. They have good quality vehicles but they refuse to negotiate the price at all my sales person didnt even go ask his boss if we could work out something so if you are looking to negotiate i wouldnt come here Its funny that the responds was they are not sure why i would post this its simple when you go into dealership your salesman usually tries to make a price work for u i was paying cash and asked for a couple hundred dollars off there was no attempt to get that price down at all i have never been to a place who didnt try and work something out do me a favor dont respond to my post you guys suck
Great buying experience. My finance person, Scott Seifried, was FANTASTIC!!! I had no idea of all of the options available to protect my new car. Scott was very informative, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. There was no pressure to buy any of the additional warranties but Scott helped me make the best decision for me and my new vehicle. We drove an hour to come see a vehicle that was 1 year & 3 months old....it had 33,000 miles on it and the advertisement said Preowned? More like slightly used! These preowned vehicles are in such excellent condition they look brand new! Get your quality used car today!! The vehicles paint was swirled, scratched, and chipped. Three of the four rims were tore up! The touchscreen system was cracked (as pictured online). After we returned from our test drive we noticed a large chunk of tire missing from the front passenger wheel &. NO ONE should be driving a vehicle with a tire that is damaged that badly! I am greatful we didnt have a blowout. When our concerns were mentioned the sales manager seemed appalled & responded with the car is listed $3000 below blue book value...I will continue looking for dealership that values safety & uses honesty in their advertising!

My husband and I went there this morning to look at a car we found online last night. We met with Hunter, who informed us it just sold and went to talk to his manager. We expected him to come back to try to sell us another car (after telling him that was the only car we wanted to see). We couldnt have been more wrong! The manager (Kevin) came out to meet us and informed us not only when the car sold but also how many people came to see it that day. He offered to look at auctions for what we want. We felt respected and would be comfortable doing business with them.

Really great experience buying my 2019 Stinger. From my initial contact to Jim Butler, Annie had me committed. I worked with Salesman Doug Wulff. Mgr Chris Dixon was really helpful when I was torn between upgrading to a GT2 or staying with the base Stinger with the Premier package. Chris was very helpful in locating the GT2s in my price range at another dealership. In the end, I purchased the beauty on the showroom floor and I couldn’t be happier. Justin in finance was great! He knew I didn’t want to go through the documents line by line, so he pointed out the important areas for me. Which was fantastic! I’m sure he would have taken the time to inform me of everything if that’s what I wanted. Going to Jim Butler was not convenient for me at all as I live in IL but it was a very smart decision! Made car buying easy!

I had a verbal sale awaiting a bill of sale to put deposit down. Nick Pashos said it was mine and that bill of sale would be sent right over. He didnt send right away and knew something was up based on the delay so I called him and he said the GSM Chris Dixon allowed someone else to buy when they had committed to sale to me. All I needed was bill of sale to put deposit down. Their word is no good! Would never do business with someone like that. EVER!!!!!

I’ve always been a “luxury” car driver. I had been reading about the 2020 vehicle of the year the Kia Telluride. I decided to check this out at Jim Butler Kia. I worked with Kait as my sales consultant. She was not only knowledgeable about the vehicle she also made me feel very comfortable with my questions ( and I had quite the list) I’ve had my Telluride 6 months now and I’m not only a Kia convert but also will definitely be purchasing from Jim Butler Kia for our next vehicle. First experience was with the service department to take care of some recalls on my vehicle (a Kia purchased elsewhere) - was pleased with the service, despite some lack of communication about when my car would be ready for pickup. However, today I called to get a price for new tires and the parts department representative couldnt have been less helpful. I was told that I had to have the tire numbers to give him since it wasnt purchased there. Im pretty sure theres a system to look them up with my year/make/model info, which is exactly what the next three places I called for pricing did. Instead he asked me to find it - I can definitely Google an answer, but Im sorry, but if your reps arent willing or able to help someone trying to give you business, Ill be going somewhere else.
They call and say you have guaranteed financing and that they ran your credit. Then when you get there thats when they runn your credit. Typical used car salesman activity. Dont believe anything said to you.

He was patient, kind and understanding, which are qualities you don’t find in salesmen. He wasn’t pushy at all, which I also greatly appreciated. I will be referring many people to Jim Butler and I will tell them to specifically ask for Mister Wulff.
John Williams was very easy going. I didnt feel pressured. He was so friendly and very informative. It was a big decision for me and I feel I definitely made the right choice. I love my new car and I appreciate the help and encouragement I received. Justin was great! He did everything he could to get me in a car and make sure I was satisfied. I had an amazing experience! They made sure to put me in a car that worked for my daughter and myself. The finance manager spent four hours calling around to different lenders to ensure that I would get the best offer. The sales team was friendly and made sure to call and remind me about the appointment and worked with my work schedule. They offered to clean the car one last time before I left and even filled the tank and washed the car!!! We were able to leave with our car and my daughter loves it!

Got lied to but that is my own fault. Should have known better than to trust them. Car is not even two weeks old and hesitates to start. Sales man lies about everything. Company is very cheap.
I am keep on receiving telemarketing calls from them since I changed my phone number in this past April. The women that calls always leaves a voicemail looking for some woman that no longer has my number. She said that; I have good news for you Well.... I do not have good news.... There person you are looking for does not have this number any longer so please stop calling my phone. I have asked to be removed from the list and was hung up on by the internet sales woman several times, but the calls just continue...

The sales staff and online staff go above and beyond. I am in the market to buy a car and have been there. I have had a few bad personal situations that kept me from buying one right away.
