I had a previous repair shop work on my truck and did not tighten down one of my rear shocks and it came unbolted. I took my truck here on a Saturday and they immediately took it back and fixed it within 30 minutes and did not even charge me! I will definitely take my truck back here again next tie.

Im new to this area and I need some work done to my 07 Dodge 3500 diesel short bed and Ive called this place for a handful of services now and they want me to leave my truck with them overnight or multiple days for something as simple as an alignment. Dont do it dont go to these guys save yourself some struggles. Simple jobs that should only take an hour they want me to leave it all day who can do that?

Replaced my ignition coils with incorrect coils. Installed VERY used spark plugs. Lost 5 days of delivery work. Had to spend ANOTHER $550 at another shop.

Im visiting from South Dakota when I picked up a screw in my tire. These guys took me right in and got me back on the road very quickly.

When you move to a new town, its important to find new, trusted doctors, dentists, vets...and auto mechanics. Time will tell, but I think I found my new mechanic in Maxi on Broad. After two repair visits, Ive been satisfied with the service, speed, and price--and very pleased with the staff and communication. I hope I never have to see them again (!), but if my vehicles DO eventually need service, Ill definitely go back.

Ive been two them twice about my engine light. Once it was about the evap system. The last time I went I was told it was the battery. Same result my light was off the day I picked it up and back on after a couple days, two weeks at the most. I dont believe I will be going to them again. Ill try a different location.

Any time I need something done to my vehicle, this is the place I go to. They are kind and professional. They will explain anything to you. This is the only one I will go to. Brian is very good at what he does. And he makes sure his guys does the job right.

I came in for a radiator problem. They found all of the issues and fixed it same day even though they said there was a slim chance. So thankful!!! Dropping 1k on new parts is never fun but I definitely felt taken care of. I trust the work that was done.

Dropped into a ditch while on a road trip and really thought I was in trouble after my car wouldn’t drive properly. Came in and they got me in and out in hours with a new tie rod and alignment!! I was so thankful for these guys picking me up and helping so quick, they are truly the best I’ve ever been to!

I use Maxi Auto for all my vehicles maintenance. The guys are always respectful and professional. Whether its an oil change, new muffler, broken interior parts, new motor, etc. they always do a fantastic job. I recently had an odd job to complete and I wasnt sure if Maxi could help. I took it to Brian on Broad St. and sure enough, he was able to help me with a weld and it was completed flawlessly. I know very little about cars and their maintenance, but when I go to Maxi I know I am not going to be sold parts and services that are unnecessary. I know I can trust them and their expertise. If youre unsure of a good shop to go to, definitely choose Brian and the team at Maxi on Broad.

Brought my daughter van in there for diagnostic and it just had a miss when we brought it in but after they told me that it needed 3000 dollars worth of work we drove it home and it died twice before we left the parking lot which it had never done before they charged me 82 dollars for the diagnostic which i expected but i didnt think they would mess it up worce

We had to have my husbands truck towed in because of a fuel pump issue. Brian and his guys were AMAZING. They kept us updated on what they found and what it would take to fix it. I would recommend them to ANYONE! We will be using them from here on out for vehicle maintenance.

My car needed a quick turn around and they were great.

Cant seem to get exhaust work done correctly. Asked for my exhaust to be symmetrical on both sides. Nope. One side hangs lower than the other.Also had work here done ( ball joints) first time cost me around 60 bucks to have a lower ball joint pressed out. Called again to get a estimate done on the SAME CAR. Lady told me 100.00 for each side ! Prices seem to go up everytime i seek work done from them. Something unethical is going on at this location. Will never return to them again.

They dont mind explaining it to you. Theyre like a family theyre professional friendly and caring. I highly reccomend them.

We were traveling from oregon to florida with 2 adults 3 dogs 2 kids and our air conditioning went out we called first to see if they could help they said yeah we show up parking lot was full and so were the bays but someone named jeff came right out within minutes and had us back on the road within minutes ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC BUISNESS AND EMPLOYEES

I have had multiple great experiences here. They have great hospitality and they are thorough and honest with their evaluation of car troubles. I would highly recommend anyone to go here for routine services or mysterious car trouble. They can cover it all.

I was informed by the dealer’s service guy that my muffler/exhaust was held on only by my trailer hitch and they couldn’t repair it, only replace it for $700. He then suggested I take my car to Maxi Muffler where they could repair it for under $100.Maxi Muffler repaired it in under 30 minutes and, even better, under $50. They are fantastic!

Brian was very friendly and helpful. He took time to look at my car and tell me what needed to be fixed and how much it would cost. Well over $400. But, thats what it cost to have a real mechanic work on your vehicle. I will be going back to my car fixed by these guys. Just have to save up a week or two to have done and done right. While on vacation my ac went out. Maxi was able to get me in right away. They are very friendly. They gave me a great price and even told me about some places to visit in town along with some history. I was in and out very fast and they did great work. Highly recommended.

These guys bent over backwards for us. We were out of town and on our way home from our Florida vacation. We broke down 5 miles into our second day of travel on a Saturday. They were one of the few places open. They got us in pretty quick, they were very nice and very knowledgable. They got us diagnosed, showed me exactly what was going on and got our car fixed faster than they thought they would be able to. I appreciate everything they did to get us back on the road as quick as they did. Thanks to Maxi Auto Service Center, we were able to get home with only a few hour delay. Thank you very much guys!

From the very first and the second phone call a few minutes later Steven was very polite and cordial. I had a loud rattle in my car and couldnt figure out what it was. Within 45 minutes they had test drove it, found the problem and fixed it. Turns out it was a bent piece of metal on my undercarriage hitting my exhaust which was caused by yours truly and they took great care of me. I will definitely be back and make sure my wife comes here as well.

SO SO KIND. At my emissions testing, I was told that there was a problem with my car (diagnostic plug unattached). I went to MAXI to have them check it out. George came out in the cold rain with me to look at my car. Back inside, Stephen explained clearly to me what the problem was. He said it was really only an aesthetic issue, and that it wouldnt be worth the money to fix. Both men were kind and patient, and I wasnt charged for an unnecessary fix! I am VERY satisfied by the service and care I received at MAXI.

Being a single female, car shops intimidate me. Not this one! I’ve taken my car here for everything from an oil change to axel problem. These guys do fantastic work. They are thorough and take my concerns seriously. They are always professional, kind and informative. The entire staff and management are gentlemen and honest. Very honest! They don’t do work you don’t need done and they take care of the stuff you do need done in a timely fashion. I highly recommend this shop!

I took my car in to get a routine alignment, and get a call back soon after leaving saying that because of my car having whats called camber, they cant do the alignment until they install additional parts, totaling verbatim $800-1500. I picked my car back up and took it to Firestone right down the road, and they had absolutely no problem performing the alignment.Now they may not have been straight up lying to me about the outrageous price they quoted me, but 800 and 1500 is a huge price difference, and taking my car elsewhere to get it worked on no problem seems awfully fishy to me. I dont trust this place at all, and with all the other mechanics available in Chattanooga, you shouldnt either.

I had run over something yesterday and my front bumper was making a terribly annoying sound. I decided to give Maxi a shot after my roommate has given consistent praise of this place. I have picked her up from there several times. I walked right in, got assisted, told my car sounded relatively easy to fix, and they said wait 5 mins. I had planned on leaving my car there all day because I know how long car repairs can take. In and out within 10-15 min max. NO CHARGE! It was such an easy, quick repair they said dont worry about it. Thank you, Maxi team! Ill be back! (hopefully not soon!)

The manager of the shop was totally disrespectful customer service at this place is horrible.Probably car in for a check engine light they ended up tearing the motor down replacing the Cadillac converter and when I picked the car up the car still had a check engine light on the whole reason of bringing my car was to get it through omissions they have yet to fix it

These guys are awesome! My car had been making a terrible racket for a while; I knew it was related to my exhaust but was worried about how much it would be to fix. Thankfully a friend pointed me to Maxi! I took my car in at around 9am, they called about an hour later with an incredibly reasonable cost estimate, and my car was ready to pick up by 2pm! Couldnt ask for better service, and my car is nice and quiet when I drive it now.

Complete waste of time. They left my vehicle untouched for two days then mocked me when I asked for a time it would be ready so I could arrange for a ride. He literally put on his whiney voice and repeated my words. Passive aggressive tone throughout. Take your chances anywhere but here.

Fast, friendly, professional service. They kept good communication with me about what was going on with my car. I had it towed there on a Friday close to closing time and they called be before lunch time on Monday to let me know what all was wrong with it and what options I had to choose from about the repairs. When it comes to mechanic shops I have a tendency to be a not so trusting, just because Im a woman and dont know a lot about cars and I know there are a lot of mechanics that take advantage of the situation. It has happened to me one before. :( So I was a little leary and skeptical, but I came to feel like he was an honest man, I saw he ran a tight shop with his employees, and he was straight up front with me. Didnt try to overcharge me or sell me parts or services I did not need. Thank you Brian (the manager).

Steven was very professional, prompt, and knowledgeable and was able to get my 4runner in on short notice and my brakes/rotors completed before the day was over.He was excellent in honoring my warranty on my brake pads and working on my rotors.Have used them in the past on my 4runner and Highlander, and will continue to use and highly recommended.

This place has the best customer service and commitment to helping people Ive ever come across, when it comes to mechanics. Our car broke down on the way back to Alabama and we had it towed to Maxis right before they closed. They helped us with a great price, and even recommended a hotel for us to stay in till the Next morning and then DROVE us to the hotel just so we didnt have to walk. We are blessed theres people like this still out there.

While visiting Covenant College this weekend, we had some issues with the brakes on our car. The folks at Maxi Auto (the Broad Street location) jumped right on the problem and had it resolved in short order. They were the only repair shop I could find that was open on Saturday. My truck wouldnt start, i knew what it was, didnt get my tune-up when i shouldve. Had it towed to Maxi, Steven got me in as quickly as possible, gave me my options set me up with a good deal. I observed Steven and Brian deal with other customers, they did great, pretty funny too. FYI gonna get an extra plug wire since Steven wouldnt let me have his. Haha.

Maxi Auto is the best! After discovering the under guard on my car had come loose driving up from Atlanta late Friday night, I rolled into Maxi for help first thing Saturday morning. Stephen looked everything over right away, went underneath the car and got the guard back in secure shape, and had me back on the road in minutes! Super nice folks. Brian the owner was fantastic. He diagnosed the issue, gave us a quote and started work immediately. As we had 4 children with us waiting to complete the trip to Disney. I hope to not need thier services again. But I would recommend these guys if you are in the area.

Wonderful place! Called two days before Thanksgiving needing an oil change desperately and he gladly scheduled me in and had it in and out within the hour.

Just had an incident with my sons car after being repaired there. Bought a set of 4 tires about 3 months ago. Last night, my sons tire came off on 3 of the 4 lug nut points (missing lug nuts) while driving it. Asked the roadside assistance (thank God for insurance) what could have happened. They said the last people (Maxi) did not tighten up the lug nuts properly. They are supposed to use the air gun to tighten them and THEN use the tire crowbar to verify it was FULLY tightened. Apparently, they did NOT do this and just wanted the car out of there as it was getting close to closing time when the job was finished. I have read other peoples reviews on here and determined that this establishment is living up to the reputation of not doing quality work or checking up on the things that needed to be done properly. Avoid this business at this location as I have seen other Maxis around town with better reviews.

They were nice

Spent close to $1,000 after being given a phone quote of roughly half of that.. Stated that car had a bad PCM and had to be completely replaced /reprogrammed with new keys etc. when I picked my car up I noticed a terrible clanging noise, and realized the sway bar linkage had not even been tightened down, just finger tight. So after fixing that myself the day I brought it home the car seemed to run fine for just over a month and then did the same exact thing again. (No crank condition, theft light flashing) Called them to give the opportunity to make it right and was told I had to pay to have it towed back and pay for the same repair that was done a month earlier all over again. Very evasive with answering questions as to how they can guarantee repairs and yet Im dealing with this.. Beware!!

Get a written quote. I received a phone quote which increased by roughly 50% when a stock problem caused them to order MUCH more expensive tires than had been approved, discussed and agreed. There was no courtesy call to announce the increase.The work is acceptable, but you need to be a very proactive consumer when doing business here.

I didnt know what was wrong with my car I just know it was giving me a lot of problems like it kept cutting off while I was driving it so Brian at Maxi Auto had his towing company to pick my car up from my house I didnt pay anything that day they got my car there he looked it over called and texted me that my car needed a computer that mines was about to shut completely down they kept my car for a total of 3weeks until I came up with the money when I got my car back I was back on the road the same day so if I could RATE THEM AT 1000 OR MORE I WOULD they are some very nice people let me also add

I regret taking my vehicle to this shop. When my transmission failed while driving from Wisconsin to Georgia, I brought my pickup to Maxi Auto on Broad Street. The manager, Brian Spears, offered to install a new transmission and coolant lines for $3K, instead I got a junk used transmission that was admittedly improperly installed and broke down the next day, stranding me 1100 miles from home. After repairing my transmission, it broke down a second time on Interstate 24, stranding my fiancé and I on the Interstate. Another transmission was installed, except this one had no reverse - really important when it comes to driving! Another transmission was installed except now I had no 4WD because no one connected the transfer case. After five trips for repairs I finally have a serviceable vehicle again. What is worse, the owner, Larry Cole, lied to me when he offered to reimburse me for car rentals and travel expenses. This is an incompetent and dishonest business! Do not take your vehicle here!
