I used Smith Auto multiple times in 2020 to work on my 2001 Ford Taurus. In all cases, the management and technicians were honest with me about the problems that they found and their recommendations for repair. The communication was very good as I was kept in the loop at all times and asked to authorize any work before it began. With so many dishonest auto repair shops out there who will lie to you just to make a few dollars during one visit, Smith Auto believes in building long term relationships with its customers through honesty and quality.

Dont do business with, took vehicle in with engine light vacuum leak and to have flywheel replaced took over a week for repair, drove approximately 40 miles and engine light came on again. Called for another appointment due to the engine light and a vibration that wasnt in car on first service, left for 3 days and never look at the vibration and stated the engine light was due to another code,. Paid over $1300 on first visit then charged another $100.00 for diagnosis (previously had paid for two diagnosis on first trip). Failed even to look at the vibration I had mentioned from previous repair, left since I strongly felt I was getting taken advantage of especially since they hadnt even looked at the problem in three days.

These guys rock. They’ve helped me out with multiple vehicle issues and things always get fixed the first time. My choice shop for the Chattanooga area

The gentlemen at Smith Automotive were friendly and pleasant to work with. I like that they offer a shuttle to downtown so you can leave your car there for the day. They also have a nice waiting room where you can sit and watch TV while you wait. Their prices were better than other competitors in town. I will certainly be returning here for my routine car maintenance!

These guys are masters of their trade. I have both vehicles serviced here one is a Honda Accord and the other one is a full size Silverado. I have sat in the waiting area and watched them go above and beyond with every customer they encountered. They have a shuttle service if you dont want to wait.
