I normally do not take the time to review companies. However, I feel like if I don’t let people know about the experience that I had, it may happen to them or their loved one. I went to them after someone recommended them and spoke very highly of them. I was 90% sure my brake light switch was bad and needed to be replaced, so I let them know to check that first to help save everyone time. The brake light switch ended up being bad and needed to be replaced, but they didn’t have the part. No big deal I’ll just come back tomorrow when the part arrives. Long story short the postal service sent the part to the wrong place and when they ended up getting the part it turned out to be the wrong part (I didn’t know the parts wouldn’t work for the car). Again no big deal we are all humans and mistakes happen. However, PJ (manager) wiggled around my broken BLS until it started working again and said that the car was fixed and I was ready to go. I happily sign the receipt for the new parts and labor and thank them for their help. A few days later my car starts showing all the signs that the BLS is no longer working. Now I’m a little upset thinking that maybe the part was a lemon and having to go back to the shop. When I get there Brett (I didn’t have any problems with him and if it was just him I don’t think this would have happened) told me that the BLS was never replaced and that the switch was probably going bad. Now I’m really irritated because I paid for a part that I never got and no one told me until I started having problems again. They still didn’t order the right part knowing I still needed one, and refused to talk the problem over on the phone. I ended up having to show up to sort the whole problem out. I ended up asking for a refund as I already ordered the part I needed and was just going to replace the part myself since 2 weeks later they still hadn’t even ordered the part. Long story short PJ will rip off anyone he sees as vulnerable. I would highly recommend going elsewhere if you are a female or just in general. This shop was the stereotypical mechanic that takes advantage of people who they think won’t stand up for themselves or who they think don’t know anything about cars. I was able to get the new part and replace it in an afternoon when they couldn’t even get the part in 2 weeks.In case it isn’t super clear, having someone pay for a part and service that they don’t receive is fraud…

I take all 6 of my vechiles there 3 Chevrolet work trucks and 1 diesel Ford 1 Jeep Grand Cherokee 1 Ford 2002 f150 never had an issue they couldnt fix great service and always fixed remember you have to pay for good service and these guys give it

I will drive clear across the country before I let anyone else touch my CLS-550 !!!!!!!

I really wanted to take the time to write a review on my experience with A G Imports. I just moved to Chattanooga and didnt know who to call when my Volkswagen wouldnt start, even after trying to jump it. I had it towed to the VW dealership to have them take a look (again, didnt know who to call!). They quoted me about $4K for repairs. I called several repair shops to get a better quote, and then I called Rick at A G Imports. Rick asked me many questions about the car, and suggested that I called VW of America to see if they could help me out first--he did this because he wanted me to make sure that I would be getting the best deal, even if it wasnt from him. By the way, he still offered me the best deal. I had my car towed from VW to AG, and Rick followed up with me throughout the process. I just picked up my car from him today and finally had the pleasure of meeting Rick- he took very good care of my car and at a very reasonable price (almost a 50% discount from what VW quoted me). Should I ever have problems with my car again, he will be the first person I call!!
