It all started with a moving box in front of my mailbox. I called the number and spoke to Jeff. I was thrilled when he stated that he would like to come to my home to go over the items that we were requesting to be moved. Most companies are giving quotes over the phone without taking the time to look at your furniture. During the visit, Jeff was very professional, polite and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and also provided suggestions since we were moving our furniture into a storage facility. After meeting him, I was less nervous about our move. When dealing with the quote, I feel as if I emailed him over 100 times. I was always requesting a new quote from where I added or removed items and Jeff was always on the other end responding quickly to my emails. When it came to the move, the crew was just like Jeff. I couldnt of asked for a better crew. I saw a lot of great teamwork that day! They communicated and worked well together to ensure that there was no damage to the home or furniture. Square Cow called ten days before the scheduled move and cancelled their services without provocation. They claimed they over booked and did not have the resources and did not honor the signed binding agreement we had in place for the move. Now we are scrambling to find a reputable mover to handle a 3000sq ft move on 10 days notice for a similar price. The prior reviews maybe stellar, but this is the one you should put your credence in. Do not hire this company as they do not have their management or grass roots team together in Charlotte.

I scheduled Square Cow to move me on September 1, 2018. On August 21, 2018 (10 days before the move) I received a call from the company stating that they could not move me. I asked why and Sarah, a Manager for the company, told me that the Charlotte branch manager had quit and they had to cancel all moves. Sarah gave me the number to City Wide Moving and said I could call them and get prices. I hit the roof because I said this move could cost more after I contracted with your company. Sarah said she did not know their prices. At this points I asked her since I contracted with Square Cow why didn’t they subcontract to City Wide. I would pay them and they handle everything with City Wide. Sarah said she would call back.Sarah called back and said that management said I was on my on because they were not getting involved. I asked Sarah did they care that I was trying to move and didn’t have movers. Sarah said the company called City Wide and gave them my information but couldn’t help anymore.THIS THE WORST EXCUSE FOR A MOVING COMPANY! DO NOT USE!

Like one of the other reviews here, it started with a mooving box at my front door with a Square Cow flier. I loved the marketing and just had to call for a quote. Working with Jeff was fantastic - I am pretty sure he wanted to put me out to pasture from all of my phone calls and e-mails but he put everything together exactly the way we wanted it and everything turned out FANTASTIC. His team of men were very hardworking, polite, engaged in conversation with my husband and I, CAREFUL with everything - they wrapped everything - our belongings were in very good hands. Hats off to Jeff Crosswhite and his team - EXCELLENT experience with Square Cow Charlotte.
