This just wasnt a positive experience. I called them about getting a quote to move. 1 hour before Thomas was to arrive to do the quote he called me to inform me that someone else had reserved that date. Did they literally reserve my date that morning or did they choose to not tell me until 1 hour before my scheduled quote. Guessing the latter.While on the phone making the quote the lady did mention the refundable deposit but assured me that since my date was almost a month away and during the week I shouldnt need one. I of course would have put down a deposit if I hadnt been told that. So when Thomas called me to inform me the date I needed to move was taken he offered to load me on the 9th instead of the 11th when I requested. This was actually fine with us. One problem. He still wanted to charge me $225 per night to let our truck with our stuff on it just sit there for 2 nights.So let me get this straight. Their lady told me my date wasnt an issue, they then informed me it was an issue only 1 hour before the quote, still want my business but cant waive the fee for the 2 days our stuff would sit there to accommodate their request to load me sooner? This company is willing to sacrifice business by not waiving a fee for our stuff to just sit there on a truck to accommodate their dates. WOW. This is when Thomas started to back track with the whole we only hire the best movers and we cant find help right now.... It turned into excuses instead of finding a way to get our business. Again you cant waive the overnight fee for our stuff to just sit there so it fits your schedule? It certainly doesnt cost them anything for our stuff to just sit on a truck for a couple extra days to accommodate them. Too bad this company is worried more about squeezing every penny instead of just focusing on customers and customer service.

Moving the contents of 5,000-square feet of furniture and belongings after living in my home for nearly 27 years felt like an insurmountable feat, but for You Move Me Charlotte it was a flawless endeavor. Many of the items this crew wrapped and moved included priceless, oversized antiques, and they did it all without blinking an eye. Loading four trucks and then unpacking them and reassembling and arranging furniture was a breeze. There was nothing lost, scratched or damaged. They also filled three storage units and a garage. Additionally, and perhaps most notably, the young men in this crew embodied the pinnacle of professionalism, intelligence, conscientiousness, impeccable manners and kindness. There are not enough words to adequately express how amazing this company is and how great a job they did. I offer them my highest regard and recommendation. Moving is typically unpleasant; You Move Me Charlotte made it stress-free and painless. Oh, and I forgot to mention, the price for this whopper of a single-day move, came in well under the estimated price!

Matt and his crew were amazing! On time, professional, friendly, and made sure we were completely satisfied with where everything was located. We had a couple really big and unwieldy items and a tricky stairwell, and they got everything where it needed to go, without a scratch. Top notch!

They showed up on time. Very polite and mindful of our home and the pieces they were moving. Everything was wrapped and taped up. There was no damage to anything. They brought every piece in our home, reassembled what needed to be and put the items where we wanted them. They took the time to make sure we were happy and satisfied with everything. My move this week went better than I expected. The team called 15 min before to let me know they were on the way and showed up right on-time. They went straight to work disassembling and wrapping all my large furniture (like my bed frame) to protect it. They even offered to reassemble it at my destination! I scheduled a local move with You Move Me in Charlotte, NC. The scheduling process with Caroline was almost effortless. I was particularly impressed with how communicative You Move Me was through the days leading up to actual moving day.I had items moved from two different locations to a single location. You Move Me had boxes promptly delivered to both locations prior to moving day. On moving day, You Move Me arranged to have the moves begin at both locations simultaneously in order to save time. Sailor, Will and DAngelo showed up to the first location exactly when they said they would, and Nick, Corey, and Mike got started on the second location promptly. I recently used You Move Me for our 3500 sq house. Their estimate was right on point and movers were hard working and professional. I did shop around and realized the other estimates were done by people who never actually physically moved very much. Curtis with You Move Me was and still is a mover, so he knows what to look for to ensure an accurate estimate. Sailor, Jono, and Noah were awesome, They arrived earlier than scheduled because the trailer came early! They hustled and unloaded the trailer within 2 hours and did a fantastic job getting the boxes in the rooms designated, asking questions and being all-around great to work with! We were exhausted after driving 6 days and they made the unloading process so very easy and professional. Mary Cline, the office manager, was so pleasant and helpful in coordinating and communication for our unloading. Excellent company ! We highly recommend!!

The team was great! We had some timing changes due to shifts in our closing date and they were super accommodating to push our dates out several times. On moving day the team was on time, very polite, and professional. They took their time to wrap everything and ensure it was moved with care. I was truly impressed with their move of our patio furniture. We lived in a 3 story condo, and moved to another 3 story condo. Our patio furniture was too big to bring through the house at both locations, so they had to use rope to get it down one home and up the other. Watching this was stressful, but they made it happen with zero damages to the furniture and side of our homes. I was super impressed by how well they worked as a team. Overall, they did a great job and we only had a couple minor scuffs on some furniture, but they proactively scheduled someone to come out and touch those pieces up for us. Curtis and the You Move Me crew did an amazing job helping us overcome three different scheduling challenges when our closing was delayed. Despite their previously booked schedule, they packed our truck, stored it overnight and unloaded it sooner than expected. It all started with a box...in a genius marketing move, You Move Me left a moving box at my door and that prompted me to call them. I am so glad I did! After getting a very reasonable quote, I hired them not only for the move but also to pack the kitchen. Matthew & Tyquell came the day before the move for the kitchen pack and knocked it out about 2 hours (it would have taken us all day to do it ourselves!). The day of the move we had 6 guys: Malik, Jordan, Noah, Mike, Chris, and Andrew. We were awed at what a well oiled machine they were! Just like Matthew & Tyquell took great care in packing the kitchen (not a single thing broke during the move!), the move crew took that same care with my furniture. Every piece was meticulously padded and wrapped. Once we got to the new house, they reassembled the furniture and helped place it exactly where I wanted it. From the moment we received a quote with Curtis we instantly knew this was the company for us. Very professional, very honest, very kind and personable all within our very first meeting! We communicated and went over details to make this move a smooth one! On the day of packing Logan, Corey, Tyquell, Andrew were our crew all 4 worked extremely well together and were beyond professional! They handled our things with so much care and had us very organized all within a timely manner. They showed up both days with great energy and positive attitudes ready to help us! They packed every item into our pods and utilized every space that didn’t require any more storage (we didn’t even use a third pod these guys are that good!) These gentlemen were a GREAT team! This company interacts like a Family! Being new to the state, from the first inital contact with Caroline and Mary, I felt welcomed! In order to provide me the proper resources, their General Manager, Mr. McDowell asked not only pertinent question, he also asked for photos. Also with me having to change my closing date, You Move Me was very accommodating! In all, You Move Me truly wants to make sure you have a successful moving experiance! The lead of my moving team was James, along with Adam, Dylland, and Sailor! These guys were ON TIME, very professional, and responsive to my needs.
