I was extremely disappointed in my experience. I was told over the phone the unit size I needed was $70 a month. I arrived and they had made a mistake on the price, and its actually $99. WATCH OUT for HIDDEN FEES. They do not tell you until youre signing paperwork that theres also a Facility Fee of $25 per month and insurance of $8 per month. They have strategically (conveniently) changed all their hardware on their units to accommodate cylinder locks only...no more master locks that you can bring from home. You have to buy that too for a whopping $21. Of course, they dont tell you this over the phone either. There is ZERO transparency with this company. My total bill when I checked out was over double what I was quoted on the phone...$154.61. Shameful!!

Amazing Customer Service despite Covid-19 restrictions which were reassuring. Gewina, the manager, was genuinely kind, caring, personable, forthright, extremely patient and professional on all levels. She made you feel like family. Wonderfull is an understatement! Her new assistant Stiles was so helpful and sweet. They BOTH went above and beyond helping me. Rates are the best around; no gimmicks. Facility is clean, easily accessible units, safe and well managed. Id give 6 stars if I could!

We had a storage situation fall through and needed to find a place nearby for same-day move in. Ms. Ebony helped me and was so wonderful. I immediately realized I needed a bigger unit after signing the paperwork for the first one and Ms. Ebony was so patient and talked me through the options. I was able to get the locks and access to the units within a half hour and she made my life a lot easier. Space itself felt very clean and safe. Would recommend, especially if youre working with Ms. Ebony!

The Property Manager, Arthur Lopes, is absolutely fantastic! His customer service and willingness to help me today is hands down the best in the business. Not only did he loaded all my boxes in my car in the pouring rain. He also walked me to my car with an umbrella. If you need anything from boxes and tape to a storage unit, you WILL NOT be disappointed with this location!

The storage units are very clean as is the rest of the building. It is convenient to park as well. My only criticism is that it was a bit difficult to find a cart and some of them were difficult to push. All in all though I will rent again next year for my college student.

Experience has been great so far! The lady at the front desk is very nice and great at explaining how it all works. She made everything quick and simple.

My new unit here is good and fairly priced, but four stars because when I first moved in the unit they assigned to me had a few issues with the door lock and moisture. Staff handled it promptly however and moved me so no complaints.

AWSOME group of people. Every time I went to office there was a different customer service representative there but with them all service was excellent every time!

I have no problem with Morningstar, the staff are very professional. me and my sister stored our stuff in separate units. the place are so clean.with a lot of hand trucks not just 2. and that what make it so much better...we didnt have a bit of problem when we first went there to get a storage unit...Lillian, and sherry are very sweet. I would highly recommend Morningstar for anyone to used..because of the cleanliness, heated and air conditioner of the units.

Melissa is great. My move out date was a disaster due to an error on my part which required me to obtain another unit for a few months. Melissa was very accommodating in every aspect from staying late for me to allowing me access to the facilitys moving truck at the spur of the moment. Her demeanor was so upbeat, courteous and professional. It made my bad day a whole lot smoother. Id recommend this facility any day.

Great Place. Cyndi and Dee are great people. Dee made our move more at ease. I was really stressing. Its our first time using storage facility. A little pricey but he sold us the benefits of being here.

I moved my belongings in a few days ago. The place is immaculate. Manager Melissa helped me decide what size storage area I needed and she was right on the money. My things fit perfectly. A substitute manager was there throughout my move to ensure I had everything I needed. She also took the time to track down an errant car parker who was blocking the loading area. All in all, a very pleasant experience. Thank you Morningstar Storage!

My experience with Morningstar was a great experience my first time EVER renting the staff VERY friendly helpfuful. I had no problems with anything I needed help after hours there is always someone I could talk to. The area is safe I had NO problem at all day or night.

This has been the best experience of my life move! out of the way only morning star is where i do my storing....Melissa is very professional reasonable and understanding when it comes to managing your stuff she is the best morning star has to offer.

I recently rented a storage unit at 3015 S. Tryon St. Charlotte NC location, Gewina was the property manager and she was so nice and helpful! The facility was clean and easy to get in and out of with no trouble.

Fair prices, amazing staff, perfect location. Units are easy to access and the security gives you an extra sense of safety and security while you leave your personal items stored.

Clean very open can move your things in and out,but parking is a little small might have to work on that but other then that very nice.

While they lost my initial reservation, the woman up front was very helpful in booking me a storage space so I could move my stuff in that day. I would highly recommend this storage facility!

Super disappointed! I reserved a unit online with the option of using the truck they advertised and got both a confirmation text and email. It wasnt until the day of move in that I received a call about my inquiry and that if I wanted the unit I needed to make a decision ASAP because there was only one left and someone in the store who wanted it also. Oh and the truck was in the shop (which wouldnt have been a problem if I was told enough in advance and NOT on move in day!). And apparently my confirmation was worthless. But within 30 minutes they miraculously found another unit for me.....I dont think so. My business definitely went elsewhere.

Customer service was outstanding by the Manager. The facility is very clean, in a safe neighborhood and was accessible to me 24 hours a day. A major drawback to this particular facility was the time it takes to load and unload my personal items. I rented a large unit (10x8x20) to store enough furniture for a 4 bedroom house. The elevators will only accomodate one 4-wheel dolly at a time. This makes it very inefficient to move a lot of household goods creating hours and hours of work. The elevators should have been configured to hold at least two of these commercial dollies at a time. Overall I would reccommend it.

The only reason I gave this facility one like is because I needed it to post this review, but realistically this place gets absolutely NO LIKES from me at all. Im a single parent and was asked to move and help some family members out so I relied on Morningstar Storage on South Tryon to store my things privately. Right before I was able to get on my feet, my storage was in danger of going into auction. I was even given an auction date from the facility and I appreciated that. I paid them about $400.00 to get into my storage. When I walked in, I could IMMEDIATELY tell that someone had been in my storage rambling because they left it toooo neat. I kept it neat, but it was too neat. Someone in that facility allowed someone to go into my storage and steal my flat screened tv in addition to a very nice faux fur vest I purchased offline. As you can see it was faux-fur (fake) and the tv was replaceable so I brought a new one which is updated and a smart tv that Ill NEVER put in that storage. So at this point, being in danger of going into auction, I had no insurance so everything is basically my word against theirs. I never said anything to management because I feel like whats done is whats done and everybody will just play dumb anyway thinking I was never gonna pay my storage unit but I fooled them. I always knew I was going to. So writing a review will hopefully hurt them more than me going to the facility and showing my behind and threatening everybody there. Its just pointless and not worth me getting into trouble because I do work and Ive replaced everything. I still have a storage unit with them and Ill be removing the rest of my things soon. At this point, nothing in there is of value so it is what it is. From me to you, please reconsider before putting valuable things in this storage or reconsider for even renting a unit from them at all. Number one its in a VERY bad area with randoms hanging out and walking around and Im not blaming the facility but I am. Its a clean facility and very nice but none of that is worth losing something very valuable to you if maybe you happen slip up and forget to pay, SOMEONE WILL GO IN YOUR THINGS. First off they were very unprofessional disrespectful prejudice I would never do business with this branch of Morningstar ever againAlso reached out to the branch managers of this District trying to at least not wrongfully accused somebody of unprofessionalism and needless to say nothing worked nothing transpired in favor of Justice for the customer I was giving an eviction on justifiably based off of previous payments that were paid not the balance that was due on todays date as it is written

A little pricey but a good experience.
