The people are Buck Lumber are incredibly nice! I reached out to them about purchasing a Buck Lumber hat - a strange request, but my fiance saw someone wearing one around town and was very taken with it. His family name is Buck and he collects Buck-related items. I knew it would make the perfect Christmas gift. I asked to purchase one, but the generous people at Buck Lumber sent me one free of charge that very day. Needless to say, he loved the hat. If I ever have construction needs, they will be the first people I call.

I purchased $2,153.53 worth of materials. Unfortunately I had to cancel the order the next day. A month later I still had not received the refund and the branch manager told me that the materials had been delivered. I never received them and he had no way to confirm the delivery. They did not provide a refund and I had to dispute the transaction with visa. I will never order from buck again.

Been trying to get a window quote for weeks. Emails not returned, phone calls not returned, promised calls back the never happen. What happened to integrity and work ethic in America ?

I really do love Buck Lumber I have subbed work for them for the past 7 years but here recently I have not due to people leaving the company and pursuing other things. Everyone here is really nice but the only thing thats kind of a bummer TODAY is how everyone else has made things the way they are and by that I mean I havent been into this store in a few months but I happen to ask if they had any hats. Im sorry for that, because I could imagine what was going through that fellows head. And obviously Im not the first person to ask because the guy thats in charge of all that well I was just trying to explain to him how when I do Buck Lumber jobs I like to represent them with their appeal and he just kept on walking away from me. Heck I did ask at the front desk but like I said it seemed like he just thought I was there trying to get free stuff but the thing is I would had paid for a hat but its all good. One advice though its not hard to stop and turn around to listen to someone especially when youre in customer service to begin with. Also I just wouldnt want it done to me, its not like I was trying to take up your entire day.Otherwise Buck Lumber is a great lumber store always been on time, Carrys get products and everything else too. Always treated like I’m more of a bother than a customer. They cater toward the big builders, so you are good if you plan on spending a couple mil a year there. Otherwise just go somewhere else.

Recently purchased a door via our general contractor whos helping us with updates to our house. Once we were sold the door, the Buck Lumber rep up-sold us on high-impact glass. The rep did not tell us that the style of the door would therefore change. We asked repeatedly, directly to Buck Lumber, to provide a photo of the door we were buying and they could not. Ultimately the door showed up with a different style than we were expecting, and we have no recourse to return it. This was quite unfortunate and it put our contractor, whos been awesome and a great help through the process, in a difficult position.

They are one of the most complete suppliers of construction materials in town. Customer service is a top priority to them.

Awesome place to unload, in and out in 30 minutes and that includes untarping. Tight quarters though, but very busy place. Friendly staff.

This is what lumber yards should be.I didnt know this place existed until a general contractor suggested I try these guys when I was buying materials for one of my projects and I am very glad I did.Lowes and Home Depot have lots of products but no soul. The people here seem to actually want to help you and are more than happy to answer questions or help you find solutions. Growing up this is exactly what my grandfather would have gone to.I expected to pay more than the big box stores here bit I didnt. The prices were very competitive.Wishing these guys centuries of success.

I recently left a credit card at Buck and realized it at 4:50pm on a Friday night leading into a holiday weekend. They were kind enough to leave the doors open past 5 until I could get there to pick it up. They are always prompt and courteous when I’m in to pick ups materials.

These guys are fantastic. If there is some odd ball material you need to order, theyre your guy. But not only that they have an excellent selection of pressure treated and primed trim that they keep in stock allowing me to be able to easily do rush orders when building custom outdoor furnishings.

As a Carpenter in the low country area, Ive frequent different lumber yards. Buck is the best all-round. Their supply chain is vast, and they are usually stocked with high demand lumber.

After paying up front we drove into the warehouse lumber dome where we were met by a friendly employee who loaded up the lumber and sent us on our way.
