Our washer died, literally! The repairman told us it would cost as much as a new one to repair. So after chatting with him about where I could get a new one at a good price, he found one at Avalon Appliances. He even called to find out if they still had the one pictured on Offer Up. They said yes and would hold it for us. We went that afternoon to see this washer. It had a small dent down near the floor which had to be pointed out to us. It was $820 which was $400 less than the big box stores. (New with manufacturers warranty) Rob the owner also gave us a military discount of 10%. Even with delivery we were still $300 off retail. He threw in the better hoses which we had to wait a couple of days on. The delivery guy did a great job installing it and taking our old one away. All in all a great experience and we highly recommend Avalon Appliance.

I don’t know what’s up with some of these people, but Rob & Austin were amazing when I visited this store to get some new appliances for my house. The customer service that I received upon entering Avalon Appliances was just about the best experience I’ve ever had. Austin made sure to explain everything and make sure I understood completely. If I had any questions about the appliances he was able to answer them, and if he wasn’t, Rob was right there to assist. The prices were absolutely amazing and affordable!! Even better, they were able to deliver and install my appliances at a way lower rate than any other store I looked at. I highly recommend them and will come back if I ever need anything else!

Then as I was about to pay he asked if I was a veteran and offered a discount on top of what was already a great deal….Stand up guy. How do I give him 10 stars. This place literally saved our remodel where all the big box stores have let us down BIG TIME. Rob is super knowledgeable with his advice and salesmanship. Gave us discounts with unbelievable customer service. This isnt your normal scratch and dent place. He gets the same stuff as the big store and replaces items that are scratched or dented. Delivery was top notch and done is half the time quoted from Lowes. He is also American veteran of our beautiful country. This is one company worth giving your business too.

Stumbled across this gem while taking our son to giggles. We needed a new microwave and needed it fast. The owner has great customer service and gave us a $500 microwave for $100 cash out the door. I will recommend this company to family and friends.

I was very impressed with the service, product, pricing and delivery/installation/haul away. I love to support small, local businesses and Avalon met my highest expectations and more. I bought a new Kitchen Aid convection/microwave on Sunday and it was installed on Monday. Very rare to get this level of service these days.

The man, I believe his name is Rob, is very honest and trustworthy. He does it the right way and no hassle at all. Helped load and tie down the washer I bought. Above all he was most kind and dealt with my wife and I very fairly. I cannot say enough good things, I am so very happy with the experience. Purchased washer, the machine was dead on arrival. Did not work at all. They refused a refund but offered to repair and gave us a loaner. 4 to 6 weeks to repair the original. Loaner died after 2 weeks. No more loaners but will fix, 4 to 6 weeks for parts. Update:3/8/21. AVALON repaired the non functional loaner. They offered a trade for this upgraded unit and we accepted. This matter is closed to our satisfaction.

I found Avalon Appliances on Facebook. I was looking for a mini refrigerator for my room I rent in Phoenix. I sent a message to them and Rob replied within a minute literally. I explained that I was strapped for cash and I needed some help. I gave him a price that I could afford and with no hesitation he agreed to my offer. Which was 1/4 of the price. I couldn’t believe it. And even better yet, when I got to the store he didn’t even attempt to up-sell me or anything. His partner walked me over to the mountain of new mini refrigerators and asked me which one I wanted. I paid him and he loaded it in my car. It is refreshing to know that there are some genuinely good people out there that care.So, thank you from the bottom of my heart and I will recommend and only recommend Avalon Appliances to everyone I know.

The employee answered all my questions and notified me about the warranty that came with the product. I will definitely come back here for another appliance in the near future.

We bought a very nice Maytag set at Lowes less than two years ago. The washer has failed twice. After bringing it up to them on social media (for the second time), they agreed to repair it as a one-time courtesy (for the second time). The hang-up is that the part was back-ordered and wed been without a washer for four weeks. We decided to get another set, but not Maytag, Whirlpool, Amana, or Roper.I was looking at FB Marketplace and saw Robs ad. He was very responsive. He sent additional pictures, and told me they had a promo offering a free mini fridge with any purchase over $1000. They usually charge for delivery, and I already have a mini-fridge, so Rob let me negotiate for free delivery instead and said they would have it to me the same day. (Im about an hour from their store.)The delivery guy was pleasant, but when I pointed out that there wasnt a steam kit for the dryer (which had been listed on the invoice), he said, Oh, they mustve had the wrong picture on the ad, because this dryer doesnt have steam. I was disappointed, but we had over a weeks worth of laundry to do for our family of 5, and I wasnt in a position to quibble. I wrote Rob a message that I was disappointed and was going to ask if he could refund part of the price. Then I found lint in the dryer trap. Then I saw the washer had obviously been used. I was fit to be tied. I called the number and got voice mail. I left a very terse message, to say the least.A few minutes later I received a call back from Rob saying, Hi, I just missed a call from this number? I explained what was going and he said they absolutely do not sell used appliances. He realized immediately that the new guy in the store had taken a set which had been returned for warranty service by Samsung and put tags on them, then the delivery guy picked them up instead of the new ones. The model numbers on the ones that had been delivered were wrong.Rob offered to personally deliver the correct set the following morning (a Saturday). I told him we had to leave by 8:30 AM and he said he would be there by 8:00. About a half hour later he called back and said he was hooking up his trailer to deliver them Friday night instead, which meant he would get to our house about 7:30 PM and then still have an hour drive home. He was concerned that if he got a flat or ran into traffic the next morning, he would either miss us or make us late for our commitments. Rob showed up, very apologetic, and with the correct set (and a steam kit for the dryer).THAT, ladies & gentlemen, is customer service! Robs business card says, BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE GUARANTEED, and he isnt lying.Also, the tag in the picture on the ad had his price of $699 and the original MSRP of $1199. I thought that maybe it was the MSRP of when it first came out or was the highest price listed anywhere online. Not the case. We were at Lowes the other day and the exact model we bought from Rob is $1199. The dryer was $999. Rob saved us over $800 on the set.I know this is a long review, but my experience warranted more than just, Great service, nice owner!

I was absolutely amazed by Rob, his professionalism and integrity. He was welcoming and informative. This place really is like no other, I felt completely comfortable unlike other places. I bought a much needed dish washer after many months of shopping around and I had no remorse after purchasing here. I waited a month before writing this review to have a full use of my new dishwasher, and it is absolutely awesome, total life saver in my price range! I will definitely be returning to by a refrigerator too soon.

I think this store has made me the first ever laundry widow. My husband got the LG Styler from Avalon Appliances to take care of some of his work clothes, and he has spent the last 3 days cleaning/steaming/sanitizing everything he can think of. He loves it. The service was also fantastic, with very pleasant delivery and with the proprietor agreeing to come out to replace a part personally when it had a problem.

I had a great experience with Avalon. A friend suggested this place, so I came in to see what they had to offer. Walking in, the showroom is kept clean and tidy, and it was easy to make my way around - everything is clearly labeled with names, functions, MSRP and markdown price. I came across an LG Styler (I work in a corporate office, and I hate having to take things to dry cleaning) with a mild scratch and dent on the side of it that was marked down by almost half! I asked the owner, Rob (he was working the floor, really nice guy) about it and he was able to answer my questions. I didnt commit that day but when I came back later it was still there so I went for it - Rob worked with me to have it delivered (at a small fee) because I didnt have a truck, and it was there by the end of the day. Ive used it about 7 or 8 times since, and its worked like a charm without any issues. Ill be moving soon and in need of a washer and dryer, and Ill definitely be coming back.

So I had a very old refrigerator that needed to be replaced and noticed how expensive a replacement was. Then I found Avalon Appliances and they saved me hundreds! All their inventory is brand new but at a fraction of the cost due to some of the products having a scratch or two. These guys were great to work with as they were very knowledgeable with excellent customer service. They delivered my fridge the same day and comes with manufacture warranty. Needless to say, I am happy to recommend these guys to my friends and family for sure.

I bought a GE cooktop from Avalon Appliances. I was worried because it would be some time before it could be installed by the contractors. Finally got it installed 3 months later and everything works great. I got it for half the price as new at Avalon vs Lowes.The day I bought it they were doing an inventory swap and the grates were not at his store. I took the cooktop home, and later Rob personally delivered them to my house the following week as agreed along with some other cleaning parts and a cookline that I did not expect.I just called to follow up on Robs ability to get replacement parts for a fridge that we have in the garage and he is getting them to me the next day at 50% of online discount retailers.

Wow, I thought ethical business was long gone, but Rob the owner at Avalon gave me back faith in customer service, more than fair prices for quality merchandise, and humanity!! From the minute you walk thru the door, your needs are Avalons concern. They all go above and beyond to get you what you need in a timely manner. The prices are like going to a garage sale, except their merchandise is new and some come with a 10 year warranty!I walked in desperate for a new refrigerator as quickly as possible, and under four hours later, one was delivered, installed, and they even took my old one away! Upon delivery, the staff was VERY consciousness of the floors and door and took extra precaution to insure nothing was scratched. They even helped me transfer food... again, going above and beyond. Worst experience. The appliance looked ok but in reality everything inside was a train wreck! Service was terrible. Attitude was abismal and product knowledge non existent. Before I could get 5 words out of my mouth he started shouting about his Awesome lawyers. That tells me I’m not the only person who was duped by this crook

We bought a 7 cu foot MIDEA chest freezer to be delivered from Avalon Appliance. I purposely bought this brand because of good reviews about the freezer. I asked about the condition and was told it had one little dent on the front. What I received was a beat up on all sides POC with the brand name KOOLATRON. I refused delivery. It took 10 days of calling to get a PARTIAL refund. He kept the $64 delivery fee even though he pulled a BAIT AND SWITCH. Don’t do business with him.

Very pleased with Avalon after our old washing machine suddenly gave out. Rob went above and beyond to work with us on pricing and super fast delivery. His delivery staff was stellar, too. Our experience with Avalon was excellent. So we will most definitely be using them again in the future.

Nobody was at the store and they had a sign instructing me to call or text them so that they can show up 15 minutes later. I texted, they said 15 minutes. I waited 15 and then I got another text saying theyll be there in 8 minutes, I left.

Make sure you inspect the appliances when you pick them up, the pictures don’t reflect the product they show. Once I got my oven home I noticed a lot of damage and reached out to Devon asking what my options were because I wasn’t happy because the door had a huge dent in it and the pic did not!Basically he said sorry, you bought it that way!

Was told by Rob a certain dishwasher I have been searching for was available with minimal damage👌 Arrived an hour later only to see a large scrape along the front also across the top ((((((PLEASE GET IT TOGETHER))))))

Update 10/5/21Rob did finally get back to me and had Devon come out and exchange the Dishwasher for another working unit and tested it working. So far no other issues with the appliances.Upate 9/8/21 –My new KitchenAid dishwasher i purchased from Avalon has never worked! I called Rob @ Avalon about this right away. he finally got back to me, set up tech to come out 3 weeks later from Dinos. It needs a new pump, the parts are hard to get now bc of national shortage. I keep calling Avalon at least 1-2X a week hardly ever get a call back. Rob promises to swap the KithchenAid machine out with another in a few days. I never get a confirmation day or a call back. Its been over a month now with no working dishwasher and no return phone calls from anyone at Avalon. I know the owner expressed hes very busy and short staffed, and i understand this. I think ive been very patient with them and waited, but right now at least my old dishwasher was working. My new fancy Kitchen Aid doesnt spray water at all. I know this is a scratch & dent discount appliance store, but i thought at least the machines would be tested and fully functioning as advertised?I found out about Avalon through the iTrade directory. I stopped by on the weekend and Rob was very helpful. Although they dont do trades on electric appliances, the prices that Rob gave me for scratch/dent appliances were hundreds of dollars less then i was quoted for brand new from Spencers. He gave me a great package deal for around $3K with free installation and delivery on a whole new kitchen set of Whirlpool Fridge, Stovetop, Microwave & Dishwasher. The small scratches/dents are minimal and hardly noticeable to justify paying full price at Lowes or Home Depot for these appliances. Rob delivered and installed all my appliances the following week. They all work great and look like new. So happy i found out about Avalon Appliances in Chandler.
