Ive been going to Optimum Auto Repair Services for a few years now. I will not take it anywhere else. Ive had tons of work done with them and some of it major. Takis and crew are honest, straight to the point, and efficient. Everything I look for in a good business. I will continue to use Optimum Auto Repair Services in the future.

First impression was a very clean and organized shop and waiting area. Plenty of parking both in front and within a secure fenced area. Large bays look like they can accommodate very large vehicles. Takis was very patient in reviewing and help establishing priority to my old jeeps issues. Im glad to have found a new neighborhood mechanic.

Takis provides an excellent auto service and is very nice to talk to. He is someone that I trust handling my car. He even had my car checked out and did not charge me anything when it was found that there was nothing wrong. I always take my car to Optimum for my automobile needs.

August of 2021 was the first time we had taken our car to Takis at Optimum. Our daughter and her husband had used Optimum and made the recommendation. My wife and I are both 70 and were going to drive my old 2013 Ford Fusion to Florida to give to our daughter who had recently moved to Ft. Lauderdale. We knew it would be a long and hot trip, and at our age - or at any age - one does not wish to be stranded on the side of the road. I had asked Takis to look over the entire car and to specifically replace the radiator hoses and flush the system just because it was old, and rubber parts dont well stand the test of time. He tried to talk me out of it, but I insisted. I also asked him to check the refrigerant level of the air conditioning system. He did talk me out of that saying that such service was an expense that he thought was not necessary. The folks at Optimum checked all major systems and did find that the rear brakes needed to be replaced. He also recommended that the wipers be replaced, but I declined. Before the trip, I found that the drivers-side wiper was, in fact, not properly attached to the arm and ended up replacing the wipers myself. Takis is a great guy - personable, smart, and apparently honest. Its a relief to have a place to take our car for repairs/maintenance and to feel that the recommended work is actually needed, done right, and at a fair price. Well be taking our cars to Optimum from now on. We absolutely recommend it.

I always took my car to the dealership before I was introduced to Takis and Optimum through my employer. I knew I paid more for the dealer but trusted their craftsmanship and diagnostics.No more! My 3 personal cars and I are diehard Optimum fans now. Takis is honest, fair, and stands by his work. He says things like “you don’t need that now but next time you will want to get it done.” He has consistently recommended what is best for the customer and not what will run the bill higher.I have had a troublesome Check engine light in my 20 year old Lexus and Takis has worked with me to avoid a major repair and high cost workorder.If you are looking for an honest, fair auto repair shop, check them out. Takis and his shop are AWESOME. They say that when you move to a new town, you need to find a couple of go-to service providers - barbers, doctors, and a really auto repair shop. We moved to ATL recently and are so happy that we found Optimum! Takis explains all of the suggested repairs clearly and uses an awesome computer interface to itemize and prioritize the repairs. He charges very fair prices and does quick work. I cannot say enough positive things about him. Takis the owner of optimum auto repair is not professional and doesnt seem very wise when it comes to cars. I also looked into the shop and he has no technicians. That raises a red flag 🚩 to me that you have a shop and no technicians. Went down to Apollon auto repair on N peachtree and was greeted as I walked in and was overwhelmed with the amount of knowledge from the owner and the service writer. They performed great work and was able to get my car back the same day

I am glad I found this shop.I was having issues with my engine periodically misfiring. I first made the mistake of taking it to a AAA shop where, for $120, they told me nothing was wrong with my engine.A friend told me about Optimum and when I arrive the proprietor got in the car with me for a test drive. He experienced the issue and right away the said he knew what was wrong, and he was correct, I had a defective ignition coil. Now my car runs as great as ever.I also ask for them to do an oil change, but I was informed that my oil still looked good and recommended against it. How many places do you know that will turn down business?My car has a new doctor and it is Optimum Auto Repair.

Wonderful service and incredibly fast! I took my car in for my 60k maintenance. Within a day, I was texted/emailed a list of all the recommended repairs with the option to pick and choose, with a cost breakdown for each repair. I have been coming here for 15 years with different vehicles and every time I have had a great experience. Takis is very honest, communicates very well and his mechanics do great work. I have had all Brakes, timing belt, starter, and fuel pumps done over the years, every time done to perfection. Ive been taking my cars to Optimum for at least 5 years and have only great things to say about Takis and his team. He is fast, honest, and has good prices, but most importantly, my cars always run well forever. He kept my 2005 Chevy Colorado running to over 215k miles until I sold it. Takis has been my mechanic for 10+ years I will not trust my vehicles to anyone else he’s helped me maintain my truck in awesome shape any issues I have they are always addressed even when I can’t describe the right sound he can usually tell me over the phone what the problem could be. Even if he’s super busy he’ll always do his best to squeeze you in to make sure you’re taken care of. I like when he fixes the issues he’ll show you the parts that have been replaced he always calls with an estimate before doing any jobs and gives you his honest opinion and options. My 4 y/o loves to visit even just to say hi and pick up a cherry Coke. Bottom line if you want someone who is honest Optimum is the place to go.

I could not believe the service that TAKIS provided. Seriously this guy is one of the most genuine mechanics/human beings I have ever met.TAKIS is ALWAYS straight up and honest with you no matter what. He will do the job right and he actual cares about his customers. You MUST go to Optimum Auto Repair for all your auto needs. I took my Audi to Optimum to do my timing belt and water pump. The dealer had quoted me $2200 and told me they would need the car for a couple of days. I called this shop after reading the reviews and was quoted $1000 which is less than half of what the dealer quoted me. I took the car in on a Tuesday morning and they gave me a ride to the Chamblee Marta station. I got a phone call late in the afternoon telling me my car was ready. I picked up the car the next morning as I had already arranged a ride home and so far havent had any problems. So I got a great price and they had the car ready very quickly. Needless to say, I highly recommend Optimum Auto Repair!

Being a ver impatient consumer i have bought a few cars off craigslist without having them inspected prior to purchase. Mechanics have a reputation of being dishonest or ripping people off, Nor the owner here! Takis went above and beyond to try. And save me money by researching why my year make and model could have a check engine light on, found out that in a few states they extended the warranty for check engine light for up to 120k miles and found a number for me to contact mitsubishi to have them fix it for free so i would have to pay for reoair at his shop! How many meechanics do you know would pass up opprotunity to make money off someone? I recommend his shop to any and all of my friends and family!
