Brand new car with warranty: I brought my Jetta car in the service department with Manny Pimentel due to a check engine light. When he called me back, he said their was an issue with the hood censor, so the car had to stay overnight order part, fix & repair. The car was at the dealership from September 2nd until September 4th, 2021.Thirty minutes after I picked up the car, a new light “⚠️” came on (a triangle with an exclamation mark stating oil sensor). I brought the car back in the dealership because now the engine light came on, this time Allen diagnosed it in a timely manner, however the diagnostics of the car is:1. Engine light low voltage battery sensor (covered by warranty)2. Oil sensor wiring tool censor (caused by possible critter, not covered by warranty = $415.00; but this censor light came on immediately after I picked up car from Volkswagen dealership)I told him to please fix this, however after looking at receipts and paperwork, my Volkswagen was at the shop during the time of possible critters destroying my oil sensor wiring). I have documented proof.3. Chronological records by sequence;•Exhibit 1&2: evidence of initial car arrival and departure from dealership•Exhibit 3: photo of new ⚠️ light with time and date recorded just minutes after picking up car from dealership (September 4th at 12:56pm).•Exhibit 4: documented proof of new arrival with diagnostic written in the bottom right4. The Volkswagen service center did not care that the issue was immediately after I picked up car from dealership. I agreed to pay $390 for what they reported to be “oil sensor damaged by rat”, picked up the car and guess what? The same light came back on 30minutes later. Did I just get hustled for $390? Did Manny have anything to do with this? Did critters really destroy the car? If so, how did they know it was a rat? My car started having trouble after I dropped it off here. Now I have to pay for the consequences? DONT EVER BUY A VOLKSWAGEN FROM PALM SPRINGS AND DONT EVER COME TO THIS PLACE. WORST CAR EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.

Had a nice experience working with this dealership. This is a crazy time to be trying to buy a car, with some dealerships its like the 2021 Hunger Games Car Edition. But with VW of Palm Springs, they respected my time by letting me put a deposit on an incoming car so I knew it was secured, charged a fair price (given current market dynamics), and were agreeable in person. Pedro was excellent to work with: very communicative, timely, and easy going. Whenever I had some uncertainty about aspects of the deal he was quick to respond and and to clarify. He also demonstrated solid empathy and understanding throughout the process. Would recommend working with him.The only thing Id deduct a star on is feeling a little bit too hard sold on something that I had already declined in prior correspondence (extended warranty).

Absolutely had the most AMAZING experience at VW of Palm Springs, not only did Ron and his team (especially Mike Kato) go above and beyond to help me in a seriously tight situation- they treated me like family. Never once did I feel the normal anxiety of buying/leasing a car they made me feel at ease and reassured and even won over my mother (which isn’t an easy task) 10/10 recommend. No real wait time, friendly staff overall, clean and tidy business with lots of good cars on the lot. Test drove and took home same day. Thanks guys!!

Customer service was great here, i really wanted to leave a great review but i dont appreciate being lie to. i took in my car to get service done because since Ive got the car there has been a weird crackling noise inside of the b pillar (seat belt).The car was there all day which i didnt mind at all because i was hoping for the issue to get fix, once i got my car i got told that they replace the whole seat belt so that got me excited thinking the noise is gone. sadly once i left the dealership the noise was still there so than i email them stating the issue of possibly taking it in again, but never got a response back, a couple of days pass so i end up taking out the b pillar myself to check and see if they really actually replace the whole unit and they didnt, it was full of wd-40 lithium grease that i last put on thinking i was going to fix the issue. i was hoping that this was going to be my new place to go to whenever i needed to get service done, but it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

I have visited VW Palm Springs twice in the last 3 years to purchase a new vehicle and the service cannot be beat. Mike in sales and Brian in finance are nothing but short of lovely. They are not pushy and they really are honest with what deals they can do for you. I cannot recommend them enough for your next car purchase.

I’m giving 4/5 only because I had a few difficulties In the beginning dealing with a few of the sales guys with that being said once I was able to deal with Brian from financial he was an exquisite specimen of a man he was extremely nice genuine and caring. Without a doubt I would deal with him over and over again to buy every single car for the rest of my life!!

Our family has bought 5-6 cars from this location in the past 5 years, we just traded my daughters car in about a month ago and I cannot even believe how badly the sales service team quality has dropped. They have already sold my daughters trade in and still not completed the pay off, I had to make a payment so I did not incur a late payment, they do not return our calls, she has no idea who her new finance company is, and they gave her the new used car with damage they said they were going to repair before she picked it up, empty gas tank, and they do not answer or return our calls. I have called about 7-8 times to be passed around, and put on hold.

Everyone was super helpful and accommodating, from our sales associate, Melissa, to the finance department. All our questions were answered, politely and by knowledgeable staff. Would definitely visit them again!

So I’ve chatted with VW Palm Springs service dept in website, and then showed them a service promo email I got from Coachella VW and I asked them that they can make it same price and same service since I’m going to visit my friend in Palm Springs. And the Service lady in Internet told me that she needs to confirm with her boss first. Luckily she told me they will do it. So, I made a schedule to visit. And here is the problem. The Service guy in the counter, his name is Jorge Zamora and he said that I need to pay extra if I want to get the same job that what I got the quote. And I told him that I got the confirmation but he said they couldn’t do it. Instead, they only do the basic service for that price. So their idea is make the people to come first and then buy extra service. WoW. What a typical scammer. Is that the reason they try to hide the diesel scandal before? I’m so stupid that purchased this VW vehicle. You don’t buy or lease if the company keep change their words. This is not right.

As soon as we parked, the staff were very welcoming and answered any question I had about the vehicles. I recommend this if your looking for a car, we were in and out in not a long time even with a trade in. Shout out to Melissa, she was awesome.

My husband never talks highly about people performing what he says is their job. I had a very mixed experience here. I came to the dealership with an engine light on. I arrived on May 4th and dropped my vehicle of that evening using the key Dropbox. I had to drive 2.5 hours to get there since we are military and are stationed at Fort Irwin. I was fortunately able to stay with my brother. They ran their diagnostic test, not on Wednesday the 5th the day I had an appointments, but the following day. Apparently they could not get to my vehicle I was told, however, again I had an appointment for Wednesday. They ended up needing to order a part which arrived Friday and installed. I received a call and told it was ready for pick up at the end of the day. I needed my brother for a ride, but he was not available at this time so we picked it up on Saturday morning. I drove off the lot and realized the engine light was still on. I assumed it was simply not cleared, it had to be taken back to the dealership, they cleared it, but it immediately came back on. This told me that they had never conducted a test drive of my vehicle after installing the part. And of course the service department was not open on Sunday and no rentals available even though it is part of my warranty. I once again dropped the vehicle off on Monday, it needed a different part in the same system, but this time it needed to be ordered from the east coast. The part was not delivered until Friday and installed. The service personnel at the service desk were kind and professional, but I was annoyed and frustrated and full of stress and anxiety during the entire ordeal. I had uprooted my two children and myself for an entire week, not knowing what our actual timeline was and if this second part would actually resolve the issue. I was beginning to have trust issues and was very nervous and cautiously checking my dash for the engine light to return. I was never compensated for my time in any way.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Volkswagen, amazing service! They are super understanding and make sure you find a perfect car!

The entire sales process was easy and very professional!

When my seldom-used 2006 VW Passat wouldn’t start I called AAA to charge the battery. In the process, they ran a test on the alternator and suggested I should have it checked out. I called Volkswagen of Palm Springs and spoke with a helpful receptionist and explained my situation. Within a few minutes the service department manager called me back. He asked me a few questions and said he was sure it wasn’t the alternator, but that he would come out the next morning and evaluate it if that was okay with me. If it was just the battery, as he suspected, he said he would drive my car back to the dealership, replace the battery, run a check on the car and bring it back to me. This seemed too good to be true, and yet that’s exactly what he did. When he came out to evaluate the car he was friendly and professional, wore a mask and worked quickly. He charged the battery and drove away in the car. I then received a text from one of their employees inviting me to contact him with any questions I might have during my car’s servicing. When the service department manager returned my car later that same day, they had replaced my VW battery, which was still under warranty, and reset the windows and clock; inspected and set the PSI in all four tires; and did a multi-point inspection on the car. All this at no charge! Oh, and they also washed my car before returning it. I am so impressed with the amazing customer service and quality of workmanship Volkswagen of Palm Springs provides. It truly is a first-class dealership/service department with first-class employees, and I highly, highly recommend them.

I took my car 2 times they said they fixed my issue and literally 4 miles away from the dealer I parked to pick up some food I went to start my car and it wouldn’t and they decided to blame it on me for my car not starting

We purchased a new ID4 online, and had to make financial arrangements with the dealer when it was time for delivery. Given the car is so new and the online ordering process directly with VW USA is a departure for VW, finalizing the lease agreement was more difficult than it should have been. However, Mike Cota was great to deal with, and we eventually got everything worked out. Happy with the new ID4, but the purchase transaction should have been simpler and smoother.

Staff is friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned about my vehicle and its care. Kim Raspberry was very kind and made the service process very smooth and pleasant.

I tried buying a car for the first time online with VW of Palm Springs. The experience was great! Brian Delaney was extremely helpful and professional. I kept expecting some hidden charge, pressure or issue to come up once I was at the dealer to pick up the car but everything went as was promised online. Very nice service and a very nice car at a fair price.

The service was completed satisfactorily with the exception of the coolant level, barely at the minimum level. What I felt was very disrespectful was the person that brought me my vehicle, they didn’t have a face mask, there weren’t any floor or seat coverings which leads me to believe no COVID precautions were used. Jorge who checked me in was nowhere in sight to get a status update. I had to ask Allen to check on my vehicle which was sitting for about 15 minutes after being washed. I was assured COVID precautions were being taken seriously before I booked my appointment.

Just went in looking and left with great used 2016 Tiguan. I love my new car. The sales guy, Mike, was great. Everyone was professional and helpful.

I liked the VW Beetle, but I felt they could have given me a better deal on the price. I drove the car home and was near Joshua Tree when I noticed that the gasoline meter was nearly at empty. This is the first time I have ever purchased a vehicle, either new or used, that the dealership did not give me a full tank of gas as a gift with my purchase. All in all, that detail left me with a bad taste regarding my purchase and it was just a small $ amount. I have come to expect that a full tank of gas is just a nice thank you for the purchase of a not inexpensive vehicle. I don’t know if that is what you do or don’t do with all of your vehicle sales, but with gas prices so low, it would have certainly been a nice and inexpensive positive ending to the purchase.

The facility is Covid-19-compliant, friendly, fast, competent and proficient. I was very pleased by my experience. Nothing like finding a reliable mechanic with fair pricing. At last,, something went right in 2020!

I have a love/hate relationship with PSVW. On one hand I love my MKVI GTI. On the other hand, my car has spent a total of five weeks in the shop this year due to dealership negligence. They broke a manifold bolt and it took one month to repair. I asked them to cover my car payment for the month but they refused. Besides that I do trust them to repair my car in a professional manner.

Volkswagen of Palm Springs has been nothing but a nightmare for my family and I.Go to VW in Indio instead, farther drive but youll actually be treated like a human.

I wasnt happy the way mike changed his tone and was rude, the mistake of 1000.00 he forgot to take off and no wax when he said they did. I didn’t give 1 star only because this was the experience I received having to go back 10-02-2020 because they originally messed up on the original contact and i had to go back in and resign was much worse than when we got the car on 9-27-2020 . Everyone was nice when we got there to get the car on 9-27 . I was expecting the process to be a little less time . We got there around 10 am and didn’t get home till around 2pm . Mind you we did the express thing they have online . I do love my new car but the experience not so much . Maybe I may go back to Toyota next time . They don’t treat you that way their.

We had our 2019 Beetle towed here,second time for the same problem, (first time it went to another dealership), so far the car is running fine, although the technician forgot to complete the assembly process and left back set incomplete with wires hanging out and the bottom of seat not even installed. The service writer should have checked to see if work was completed, so we have taken it to first dealership for completion. This is what you get when you have morons work on German cars made in Mexico, buy a Japanese car, save the headache!

After scheduling a test drive with a salesperson, my son traveled over an hour to Palm Springs VW. When he arrived, the salesperson had already left and the pre-owned car had been sold. No attempt was made to contact him despite having his email and phone number. The explanation from Palm Springs VW was first come first serve.This is exactly the type of sleazy behavior that gives car dealers a bad name. Stay away from these guys.

Real nice folks, got my car in right away and repaired it in a timely fashion. They could have charged me for the repair because technically it was not covered by my warranty but waived all costs as a courtesy to me. Long-time customer care!

I acknowledge the compliments on here that Ron and Mike in sales receive, providing great buying experiences for many customers. I wish that I could share the same experience, but apparently online customers from out of state are not as important. I filled out a credit application for this particular vehicle as directed by Ron, and Ive been calling for these two for the past two days to find out the status of my application. Neither one of them called back, so I decided to ask someone else of the status of the vehicle only to find out that the vehicle was sold to someone else. If I was given the chance to put money down on the vehicle to insure that it wouldnt be sold then I would have done so, but many times no one in sales picked the phone up, and I didnt get any calls back. Negative stars from me...bad business.

Have been very pleased with every aspect of my experience here. We bought a CPO car which had some minor issues covered under warranty, and have always been very well looked after by sales, service and finance staff. Joel, Clive, Allen, and Jorge were our main points of contact, but everyone was great. Staff were always helpful, never pushy or seemed like they were out to make a buck. Will be back here for my next purchase.

Bad Customer Service from the Service Dept. Manager. If i knew my 4 month old Atlas would have transmission problems i never wouldve bought a VW. If you put a customer in a Rental don’t expect them to pay for anything. Especially if you don’t have a loner vehicle to fit my families needs. Palm Springs VW you have left me very disappointed.

Joel helped me find the perfect car for my daughter. He was patient and kind and very knowledgeable about every car I looked at. I found the greatest car for my daughter unfortunately she had something else in mind. Sorry Joel the experience was refreshing loved all the cars ‼️‼️

Bought a new / used car from here. One minute it was a new car then it was a used car. It was a 2019 dealer loaner car. I could get new car financing, but still considered a used car. when I asked about taking a couple hundred off as discussed the previous day the manager was like I never said that. Then I inquired about a full tank of gas, manager said can’t do that on a used car. He eventually said he would fill the tank (tank was already over half full) out of his own pocket (@ $15). Overall not a enjoyable purchase. Warranty work will be done at Coachella Volkswagen.During the discussion of this car and me trading in a car, they never had the decency to call me back as they had promised. Instead I had to follow up, again I blame the manager. Poor customer service !!!!!!!!

They always take care of me at VW Palm Springs. Something did not go quite right during my first service appointment, but they hurried to correct it immediately once I brought my problem to their attention. And, they treated me like a VIP.

My lease was coming to an end and I wanted to buy my Jetta rather than trade it in. Mike Cota was very helpful with this transaction making it as seamless and smooth as possible. We took care of it online and over the phone, and he even came to my house so I could sign all the paperwork.

I recently went in to have my sunshade fixed and my experience was less than satisfactory. I waited 2 weeks for a special ordered shade to come in. Once it was delivered, I took my car in to have the replacement shade installed. I waited around the dealership for 2 hours just for them to tell me that they ordered the wrong shade color. The car was completely disassembled and they had no loaner cars to offer me while my car was in the shop. It was a big inconvenience to not have a car and not having the option of a loaner car.

This was my first time at Palm Springs Volkswagen dealership I was very happy with the service they did on my car and well definitely be back.

I never write reviews but this dealership was so good to me I have to share! They listened to what I wanted and then gave me options that fit my needs, from the top end model to the lowest model. They were patient and kind. The sale men’s knowledge of the model I was looking at was incredible. The back and forth of making a deal on the car was easy and simple; the finance process was fast. Plus they answered all my questions(I had a ton of questions). All my future cars will be from them hands down!

I highly recommend VW of PS! I walked in knowing the car I was interested in purchasing. They never tried to persuade me to purchase a different vehicle, which I have experienced at other dealerships. They were very honest, no hidden or unexpected fees. They made the deal I wanted and fast. Martin (the salesman) was excellent, he even delivered the car to my home. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience.

Excellent experience all around professional and courtesy and not a sales pitch . Car was worked on right away and they provided me with a great ride home and picked me up when it was ready just a few hours later . One of my best experiences with a car dealership ever .
