I have used this place for over 20 years. Last time I went I had such a horrible experience with them I vowed to never use them again. Years later Vehicle was in limp mode so I figured maybe they are better. Did not want to tow the vehicle since I live close. I told them I want them to inspect wires making sure they are grounded and not shorting. Connected properly. I told them I did not want to pay $109 for them to give me an error code. I was assured they would inspect. I get a phone call 10 minutes after I left, they just scanned for the code and came up with an assumption of something that will cost me $2000-$4000. I could have gotten code for free from advance auto. They are just rushing customers through. They just want the money. They use to care about their customers as people. The guy who promised to inspect the vehicle could not even find the odometer to read. I saw him looking all around for my license plate which was right in front of him on the vehicle. I got a courtesy ride and the driver did not wear a mask. Hardly anyone wore a mask there. Only one person had it on correctly. $200 wasted. Got verbal estimate and when I picked up vehicle asked for it in writing, the guy who lied about them inspecting and could not find basic car details said he will leave my paper out for the guy to call me again. I want a paper quote. I have not received the information. No one went over what they actually did except check code. They use to take time to say Things looked normal, or I can see metal shavings.....No communication. No dedication to help find answers. Some codes that are thrown have other reasons they go off. Whether they are right on their code diagnoses or not I will not give them $4000 to fix something they did not troubleshoot or verify is wrong. Very sad and upset.Update...Atlantic Tire Management reached out to make things right. They kept their word. If I use them again it will be only with certain management and employees with caution for now. They showed me some integrity with resolving my situation, even though I am not thrilled with what occurred, I respect that they took action to fix what they could. There are a lot of businesses that would not step up and try to fix issues for their customers.

I liked this place and have been using it in the past three years. The recent visit wasnt very pleasant at all. I asked for oil change. The guy called me in the middle and listed bunch of services that he recommend to do, which turned out to cost over $1200. Of course I rejected and thought this would need some future negotiation and research before made such a big purchase over the phone. Then he suggested to do an alignment. I did the alignment not long ago, but he said since they will do a free tire rotation, I thought it will be needed. By the time I got there and picked the car and go home, they turned out didnt do the fire rotation. So a week later I went back for a state inspection, I thought they just didnt put it on the invoice because it was free, they same guy who called me checked for me and said, no there is no need so we didnt do the tire rotation, then I asked then why you suggested the tire alignment service, he was muttered to himself, and I couldnt hear clearly that sounds like sure you should just do the oil change without any mentioning that he push me to get the alignment by offering the free tire rotation. I hope he understood that one time alignment of $90 is not much but enough to cost a customer. he damaged a shops reputation as being a honest and integrity place for the customers with what he thought a smart sales trick. No one is stupid. The real fool is the one who thought others were stupid. Its a shame that I liked this place before.

Ive had my car aligned three times here and unfortunately they dont seem to be able to get it right. The first two times the car didnt quite track strait after the alignment and had very uneven values left to right. The third time however was even worse. They refused to adjust the camber claiming that it was maxed, and the car pulled heavily to the right even after being aligned. They insisted it was the best they could do. So, I had a second shop look it over (Peak Auto in Apex) and they were able to not only get it within spec but absolutely dead-on. Also, after Atlantic rotated my tires and did a pressure regulation, they forgot to put the dust caps back on the right side. If you need a rough adjustment so that you dont destroy your tires, Atlantic is ok, but if you want quality work I would advise going elsewhere.

Best experience going to an auto shop! Mr. Lewis up front was an absolute pleasure to work with, he was very knowledgeable and friendly even when I had called in later than most shops would accept. They were able to get my car in the shop very quickly, even when busy near closing time. The tech (wish I got his name as well) had also come in to warn me about an alignment which I had ended up deciding to perform. Yet again, I couldn’t be happier, tech was nice and professional and finished the work much quicker than anticipated and my car drives much better afterwords. Thank you again to the team here, y’all were fantastic to work with.

I have used Atlantic Tire since 2000 when I had brought a new car at Hendricks that was the heating never worked and they continued to tell me it was fine. I finally took it to Atlantic Tire and they FIXED IT!!! I have used it since then. The Hendricks car was a lemon and I had to get things continually fixed. I understand nothing about cars just how to put fill it with gas. JR and the owners were so helpful. They even gave me a loaner car so I could go to work and take car of my elderly mother who could not drive. They were so patience with me explaining when things going so far as drawing pictures of how things worked and what went wrong with the lemon car. When it became financially not worth fixing anymore they were HONEST with me. I knew nothing about a good reliable car. They guided me to which cars and when I found my new car they even got on the phone and helped negotiate an excellent deal.I brought the car in 2008 and after my mother died became a traveling RN. They always did a complete overhaul and check of my car before and after a travel assignment. I went as far west as New Mexico all over the South and never had a problem. I still have the same car and it runs perfectly.

The worst people I have ever met anywhere. I am only giving one star because I cant give zero. of course if I had been willing to spend $2000 im sure they would have treated me very differently.

I have used Atlantic Tire for around 6 years and have had good luck with them, up until recently.I got new Michelin tires and an alignment at Atlantic Tire, where I was told my camber was off and could not be adjusted. Since the car would not stay on the road after new tires I took to suspension shop to get frame pulled and alignment and they said that a $8 bolt was needed to do alignment and nothing was wrong with suspension except Atlantic Tire put truck tires on the car.I have now been on the phone with Michelin, and Atlantic for hours trying to get correct tires. Even been back once to have wrong size tires put on car. The number of errors in a row leads to me believe it is not normal random errors but a change in the business.

I made an appointment to get a tire patched. After 2 hours of waiting they told me it couldn’t be patched. To get the tire needed I was told it would take 4 days and have shipping fees. Then another worker got on the computer and found one that I’d get the next day with no fees. I left the rim with them so I could come the next day for an easy switch. They called me when it was ready, I came and it still took over an hour and a half. I’m still here now...

Very good, friendly service. Every person I met who works there was friendly, helpful and courteous. They met the estimated time to do the job. They have a very inexpensive lifetime balance and rotate package for the life of the tires that gives you free tire/rotation every 5,000 miles. What pleasantly surprised me was that my car looked as if it came off the showroom floor when they finished and returned it to me. This was the first time I had been there. Now, my husband says hes going to bring his car there, too.

The facility was excellent . The customer waiting area is clean and well maintained. The service professionals were efficient and thorough . In addition to the scheduled oil change, they investigated an issue with a low pressure tire. Following their advice, I purchased a new tire equal to the quality of the others on my vehicle. I was very pleased overall. Atlantic also provides a pick up and delivery service for your car. This option sounds attractive to me for a future service.

We were in a bind - 4th of July weekend and the gas tank was showing empty with warning lights flashing after we had just filled the tank, and we were 7 hours from home! Travis was amazing- he took us in right away and resolved the problem so quickly. We even went back a second time with another concern and he helped us again. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Atlantic Tire.

Atlantic Tire & Service has definitely set the bar for any type of vehicle service shop in the Carolinas. Ive been dealing with them for years now & they continue to amaze me on how professional also courteous they are. I recently purchased tires & wheels for both of my vehicles which I was blown away once again by the customer service, prices & estimates. Unfortunately a five-star rating is all that is allowed but if I had the option they would definitely get a 10 out of a 10. If you believe customer service comes first & fair pricing is must, this is the One stop shop for you.

They properly aligned my 98 Dodge Ram 2500, which corrected the steering wander issue I was having after I replaced some front end components.

I noticed some negative reviews about defective batteries being sold. My almost terrible situation, had I not been so obsessive about product reviews, would have been even very negative one, In the past I have thought the salespeople honest and very congenial. I went in on Saturday noon looking at tires for my Kona and encountered a salesman I had never worked with before. He suggested what he wrote up as Hyoko Touring Tires, for 142.25 apiece for four. At seven hundred for the entire job it was not unreasonable although I seemed to remember touring tires were not mid-line and the cost seemed a bit high. Before I left he tried to urge me into doing the job that day at 3:00. I hesitated although I made an appointment for Monday. I went home to research the tire and could not find any reviews (not one) for Hyoko touring tires. (When I told him at the store I had never heard of Hyoko, he said nothing. In my research Sunday, I did, see a tire by a name fairly close, Yokohama tire recall on their touring tire. The name was close enough to raise suspicions. Further I read many reviews saying that people were not pleased with the traction of these tire, one reason the salesman said my tires should be replaced although three of four were not so far gone. This morning, Monday, I spoke to another salesman and told him my situation. He confirmed these were Yokohama touring tires. While I dont know if this particular tire was under the recall, it is very suspicious that the salesman did not reveal the real brand. While I dont think all these guys are bad eggs, when you get one for breakfast it spoils a lot. The man I spoke to on the phone to cancel the appointment totally understood why I would not be going back to Atlantic Tires on Maynard.Update: on Google the owner replied that Hyoko is the way their computer abbreviates Yokohama. This still doesn’t explain why the salesman, when I said I never heard of Hyoko, didn’t just say that meant Yokohama. That would have clarified it. Still the pressure to do the work Saturday when I had already stated I was not available, is a high pressure tactic I don’t appreciate. The owner also replied on Google he called me this morning and I didn’t answer. He did not leave a voice message. I was working this morning.

Took my moms car in to have oil changed. Had my own oil & filter, still cost as much as if I didnt provide my own stuff. Been taking my vehicles here since 1997 but they acted like I had never been before. It took 1.5 hrs. VERY disappointing visit. Shop manager JR is the best thing about this location.

I brought my brake rotors in to be resurfaced. They did a great job at a very good price. They then helped me unstick my caliper pistons to rebuild the calipers myself. Everyone had a cheerful and professional attitude best service Ive seen yet. I will definitely use Atlantic Tire in the future for all my tire and brake needs. Thanks guys.

They are my local tire shop, literally right around the corner from my home, but this was my first time there. Robbie, who answered the phone, was extremely friendly and personable.And they were the only local dealer who could get the made in USA Mastercraft tires I wanted at a surprisingly affordable price! They were also able to get me an appointment early the next day.While the work was being done, they found additional issues (which I also knew about, front bearings and a serpentine belt), and offered to fix them at a very reasonable price. They showed me the worn parts afterwards as well. My truck was ready when they said it would be.I was extremely satisfied with the work they did, and my old Ford pick up now drives and handles like it was new! I was definitely be going back for the tires on my wife’s car! Highly recommended!

Slow leak in right front tire. Atlantic Tire was my choice for repair. They replace the valve stem and all is well. They even did an alignment check for me, made corrections. I had a paid up alignment agreement. As usual they did a great job.

Needed a screw removed and patched from one of our work trucks. In and out in less than 30 minutes, and Chris was very helpful!

I brought in my Mercedes for an issue with what seemed to be two damaged tires. They promptly looked at the tires, pinged the pressure sensors and found the issue was a bad sensor, which they replaced. After the service, they even washed the car and vacuumed the interior! They provided unexpectedly good service!

I visited Atlantic Tire suggested by my insurance companys website to fix/replace a tire. I chose this site because of its high ratings. Later my experience confirmed that it was a right choice.On that day it was Mr. Clay Pace who took care of my car. He needed to contact the insurance company for authorization which took more than one hour but he patiently worked with them through the phone and the email to proceed the claim. I highly appreciate his willingness to go through this entire process (he could have asked me to pay first and let myself to deal with the insurance company). Ill definitely recommend Atlantic Tire.

The folks at Atlantic Tire have taken care of 2 large fleets and all my personal and family members cars for the last 25 years. Wouldnt think of taking my vehicles anywhere else! They are the best in every category and stand behind everything they do with no questions asked! Just came in with a fairly new van for its second 7000 mile oil change. They noticed the alignment was not right, checked and checked it again.... They could have charged me and just did the alignment but after doing it anyway, they noticed there was something really wrong! and told me that it was a issue that needed to go back to the dealership. It is really nice to have a shop that is looking out for me! Love these guys!

Had brake work and an alignment done. I knew exactly what I needed from a diagnosis from a dealer. They did the work and my car drives great! It did seemed to take longer than I thought but I could be off on that.

I was using this store when with my old car more than 10 years ago. But when I moved a bit further, I did not go very often. Today my vans splash shield was loose and dropped half way to the ground. So I called around and only this store has a slot in two hours. I went there on time and described the issue. The car was checked in very quickly. I did a small walk around the greenway next to the store and found my car was fixed and being pulled out. I greeted the mechanic guy and was told the fix was done. Then I got in and was taken care by Brandon, who pointed out a few tire issues as a byproduct when they fixed the car. I was preparing to pay for the work, but Brandon told me the service is free for me. I was very surprised by the courtesy and professional attitude from the store. Before I left, they also helped me to air all the tires for free. What a relief during the stressful pandenmic. I will give them a five star.

I relocated to Cary recently and visited here for routine service. The staff on the phone and in person was very friendly. They were professional, and while I knew my car needed more than an inspection they didnt hound me for the repairs. They are also the first place that cleaned my wheels after balancing and rotating the tires. Usually youre left with marks on the wheels however they made sure all was wiped down. I appreciate them doing the little things to go above and beyond! Ill absolutely use them again for me routine mechanical needs. Thanks guys!!

We got an awful flat tire at Target today and Robbie came out and changed our tire out for us. He was so beyond sweet and so quick to get there! Atlantic Tire did my vehicles 90,000 mile check up and put a new set of tires on it. Great job had by all. The vehicle drive and rides great again. Why do I take my car to Atlantic Tire. The owner, Anthony is a community leader, supports many events in Cary and surrounding areas, especially non-profits. Thus a great business helping others and doing good deeds while running a business that pleases customers.

I recently relocated and wasn’t expecting needing a mechanic so soon but I did. I didn’t know where to go but saw the sign drove and the staff at Atlantic Tires in Cary was professional, caring, helpful, and got me back on the road. After speaking with a service agent who assured me that if needed, they had in stock a tire for my car, I had AAA deliver my car there for repair. Everyone was courteous, and even though it was a Saturday, the wait was tolerable. Fortunately, the tire was fixable and the cost for it’s repair very fair. I appreciate and recommend Atlantic Tire.

Im new to the area. I just moved here from Franklin County. I have worked in dealerships and Independent providers. I got a coupon in the mail from Atlantic that was very generous, and decided to give them a try. ALL I can say is WOW! I showed up about a half hour before my appointment, and despite them telling me it may take until my scheduled appointment to get in, I was out of there in less than an hour for an oil change and a tire rotation. The service advisor was EXEMPLARY! I already knew everything the vehicle needed done, and not ONLY were they spot on, they were realistic about the time frame to attend to maintenance, and werent pushy, like MANY places. BECAUSE of their EXCELLENT service and attention to detail, theyve won themselves at least one faithful client! I HIGHLY recommend Atlantic Tire for your service needs!

Installed 2 Goodyear Assurances on my Prius 3. Work was professional and courteous. Waiting area and amenities are a nice addition. My only concern is I would like to know about the Road hazard warranty before I check out and new tires were not placed on the front as I was told. All in all, will return for next 2 tires when needed.

This place was great! I called ahead and got an appointment for same day, as soon as I walked in they were ready for me and got me back on my way in a timely manner. Staff was all super friendly, and they even cleaned up my interior for me!

It was easy to call and get an appointment for the morning, but it still ran longer than the time I was told it would take over the phone. Went in for a routine oil change, but was surprised by the price. I appreciate the suggestions for fixing up other parts on my car, but I will look elsewhere for more affordable options.

I originally went to Atlantic tire because I received a free oil change coupon in the mail. I have since gone to them for new tires and alignment. They were quick, professional, and I feel that I paid a lower than average price. They ran my car through the car wash for free before I picked my car up, and gave my son a teddy bear on our way out.

I was recommended to this spot when I was having issues with my tires and places within the Cary area wanted to charge me an insane amount of money. As a female, I understand this industry will try to use my lack of knowledge to get me to upsell and purchase the unnecessary out of fear and simply taking the word of a professional. The service, professionalism, and integrity at Atlantic Tire is unmatched. I have had excellent experiences there and have always felt their price points were on par with the industry standard. A sign on the door said all visitors and employees must wear a mask, but only 1 out of 4 people working inside the small front desk area were wearing masks. The gentleman that drove my car after servicing also was not wearing a mask.Aside from not being considerate of others safety during this strange time, the staff was friendly and they did a good job on the vehicle
