I used Cary Car Care to get my AC repaired. I was able to easily book an appointment online and communicate with the shop ahead of time. The text system they use to communicate with you makes staying in contact with them easy. They diagnosed my issue quickly and weβre able to get parts and make the repair within one day. Prices were very reasonable (AC repair is always expensive) and the work quality was excellent. I would definitely use their shop again.
I can honestly say this is the best experience I have ever had before when getting my car looked at/repaired. I came in for an oil change and a trip inspection and when something unexpected came up with my car they helped me with the entire process of getting it fixed and having to leave it overnight. The staff and the mechanics were absolutely phenomenal and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a mechanic!

They have always done great work, reasonable with their pricing, and have always been honest when things needed to be fixed. Theyβve checked squeaky breaks and tire pressure lights without charging us. I know that if they say something needs to be addressed, it actually needs to be addressed. They are also very accommodating. Theyβve fit us in last minute to fix headlights and brake lights. Iβve relied on them to make sure that the vehicles that my kids drive are safe. Always treat their guests as family. Theyve taken care of mine and my familys cars for years and have never tried to over sell. Most recently they found and fixed an oil leak that another shop closer to me wasnt able to find and kept over charging me for multiple dye treatments and having me drive around for weeks. I had gone to this other shop because I had moved and CCC was now over 30 min from me. I wont make that mistake again. The distance no longer matters when it comes to this type of quality at CCC. The staff are also always friendly. You do need to schedule an appt with them because they are very busy. Which just shows how in demand they are! Thanks guys!

I asked for a total car inspection of a car I intended to purchase. The inspection they performed was very thorough and they included estimates of the cost to repair. I discussed the inspection with the person and he concurred with my assessment to not purchase the car.I have used Cary Car Care for over twenty years and found them to be highly competent and fair in their cost.
I just called to get a quote to replace a part on my car and they quoted me $800. I just called several other places and they all quoted less than half that amount. I definitely recommend calling around before you get overcharged by these people. They think just because they are in Cary they can completely overcharge people.

The experience was a delight from beginning to end and Im thrilled to have a trusted place to return to for future repairs. My family and friends think Im crazy for my excitement but Cary Car Care sets the standard for amazing customer service.
After being told it would take a few days to replace the fuel and brake lines, they kept it for three full weeks. So three weeks and $2400.00 later, I went to pick it up and found the battery was completely dead, all 4 tires were low and it wouldnt run right after I jumped it.Now I just found that they broke the PCV line in two places and used electrical tape to hold it together!Unprofessional hacks!If you value your car at all, take it someplace, anyplace else.

I cannot speak highly enough about this business. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. They did a NC State Inspection for my vehicle. When I called, they were very professional and took the time to let me know how careful they are with regards to using Covid-19 safety procedures. Then we made an appointment and they were on time/on schedule starting and finishing in a reasonable timeframe. Fantastic service.
The CCC team was professional, quick to respond, and very friendly. My mechanic called me to let me know that the brake service I requested (at my dealerships overpriced suggestion) was not actually necessary. So grateful for a transparent and honest mechanic! You guys are the best. Will definitely be back.
They did a good job with the repairs but their communication was less than ideal. During our first visit, they failed to contact us to let us know that they accidentally broke something (which they said they would fix for no charge), while doing a lot of repairs on our vehicle, or the fact that they would need the car longer than they told us. We only knew because we contacted them hours after it was supposed to be done and we hadnt heard anything. This ended up leading to them having the car for the rest of the day rather than being done in the morning, which significantly impacted us as it was our only car. They did re-evaluate the car days later at no charge when an issue appeared after their service. They found that the part was a bad batch and they thankfully replaced it at no charge. They finished it ahead of schedule that time and let us know. Overall, happy with the service but wish the customer communication had been better
Friendly and accommodating, also expensive and deceptiveI tried this shop out for scheduled maintenance, then discovered that they cost about 40% more than the dealer. They also seem to think synthetic oil changes need done every 5k miles, even when the manufacturer recommends 10k.Do not recommend, will not return
I took my Honda in to have the brakes and fluids checked. I was able to drop off my car with no face to face interaction. Texts were sent to me and followed by a phone call from the technician. Rear brakes only needed adjustment. Was told no need to change fluids at this time. I appreciated their honesty. Picked up car after a phone call. Keys brought out and placed on a hook. Would highly recommend them.

They were very friendly and were able to complete a 4-wheel alignment on my car in just over half the estimated time and also let me know of some other items that needed my attention (even though I was already aware of them :-) ). I do most of my own auto work and Ive put a lot of time into my ride so I wanted to find a highly regarded and trusted shop to handle my alignment. They have always done a great job for us and treated us openly and fairly. They do all our routine maintenance. I buy tires from them (4 family cars) even if they cost a little bit more than from a chain. The chains dont have the service like CCC. The recent changes in no-contact service are well thought out and functional, so your health is treated like its important, too.
My battery died today, called my mechanic and he is closed until Monday. He recommended Cary Car Care and I will forever be grateful to them. They were able to get me in, they were extremely kind, and I will be recommending them from now on myself. Fabulous job!
Ive only lived in the area for about 5 years and fortunately Ive not had a need for a car servicing center. However after recently purchasing a vehicle for our college-bound son from a used car lot we found ourselves in the situation that required professional help. I did a search online for car places in the area and Cary car care seem to have decent reviews. I drove over there without an appointment only to realize the lobby was closed due to the pandemic. I dialed the number on the door and a very nice woman took my call and indicated they would do their best to squeeze me in if I could leave it. They did an amazing job and were very thorough. There was great communication throughout the time and the price was completely fair. At this point theyve earned my business.

So, first let me begin by telling you a little about myself (mid-COVID).1.) I do not go out of my house unless it is absolute necessary. #doingmypart Listen, I only go inside of a grocery store once a month. And that is because Whole Foods does not deliver to my house. Yes, I am bougie. Yes, I am the person in the grocery store with a mask and gloves on. Yes, that is me. Do not judge me with those judgy reading eyes. If I forget or cannot find something at Whole Foods, Target Drive-Up and Harris Teeter Express Lane are my go to spots.2.) I wear my mask everywhere, even when getting things delivered to my car. #doingmypart3.) Because Covid decided to hop-scotch in these streets for 9+ months, I research an establishments Covid protocol before conducting business. So, when I discovered that my car inspection was coming up and the usual place I go to for my inspection did not clearly articulate a protocol that I felt comfort with, I went to work researching and this is how I found this place.Know let me tell you about the service.1.) In my opinion, they have a great contactless check-in process. I made an appointment online. When I arrived, I had to fill out an envelope in which I was expected to place my keys in and drop in a drop box.2.) They have a large parking lot. So my pink beach chair and I sat in the far corner of their parking lot away from traffic. I listened to a podcast if you was wondering what I did during my wait. It was a really good one be the way. Anywhoo, let me get back to the review.3.) They texted me about needing to have my rear brake light replaced. Loved the way they communicate. Did not like the price ($46. Jeez! The bulb was only $11) I have replaced bulbs in the back of my car before and it is not hard to do for my Honda Accord. I realized that I was paying for convenience and got over it.4.) My car was ready in under an hour. Received a text message (I got to choose this form of communication... yayyyyy) Paid using my phone. And, they hung my keys on a hook outside when my payment was received.And you already know...I disinfected the heck out of my car! No offense...but...Covid. And, yes I followed the directions for disinfecting according to the products instructions. I mean if you thought I was just going to plop into the car when it was finished. You obviously did not read the first part of this review. lol.Do I recommend Cary Car Care for car inspections? Yes!Hopefully, when I see them next year it will be Post-Covid :)

Great place to get your car worked on and the price is very fair. I come from a family of auto mechanics and I trust my auto with this group.
I had $2k of work done on my brakes last year. Now within a year I am having issues even worse than before. They came off as very nice and trustworthy, but since that day I have questioned if they even did the work they claimed was done. I was told parts were replaced with higher quality (and rusty) parts. I was charged over $600 for parts that cost under $100. Now I am having even worse issues with the parts they claimed to be of higher quality. I thought these people could be trusted, but this situation makes me feel they rip off people who might not know any better.Part of me blames myself for not questioning and inspecting their work before leaving, but the other part of me feels you shouldnt have to babysit and catch them skipping or cheaping out on work youre paying for.
The people were polite and the service was very professional. Since the symptom was related to my cars engine, I was thinking it may not be resolved. I appreciate they had investigated and repaired the issues step by step based on their hypothesis what could be wrong with the highest chance. I havent had the same problem since last week. Im really glad I brought my car to Cary Car Care. Thanks a lot!
A normal maintenance service during pandemic is no longer normal. Cary Car Care quickly adopts the new normal. From making appointment, estimate charges, progress to complete, all go through βe-processβ. I got my car back on time and contactless. Well, I normally enjoy talking to them in person, that is the only sad part of it nowadays. I will go back when my cars need service just like I have done in past 20+ years.

I have been taking my vehicles to Cary Car Care since the 1980βs. They are honest, professional, reasonably priced and extremely care about their customers and the services they provide. I would not take my vehicles any where else!!!
This is the first time we have brought one of cars in here, and I couldnβt be happier with the whole experience! I actually left there happy, which I donβt think has ever happened when leaving a mechanic. We had an estimate for the needed repairs from our regular mechanic, but since the estimate was over $2K, I wanted a 2nd opinion. The staff here gave an honest assessment of the vehicle and their recommendations were personalized to our use/future plans for the car. They provided detailed reports and updates about the car during the repair, and they talked through what actually needs to be done vs. what could be done (although not technically needed). They were able to fix the problem with less work and under $1K!We will definitely be returning in the future!

My service was the regular 5,000 mile service for my van. As usual, they were very friendly, and most important, did very good work.
Is it possible to love a repair shop? Is it possible to talk with a mechanic who explains things carefully and who isnt actively trying to overcharge you for parts and service you dont need? Is it possible to find a garage where the techs treat every car like their own? Come to Cary Car Care, and youll find out that the answer is YES! These folks know their stuff, and if it can be fixed, they will fix it. Im a recent convert to this shop, but I can tell you, Im never going anywhere else.
We have been residents of Cary since the mid-seventies. This is the only business my parents, and now my brother and I truly trust with our familys vehicles.
If theres one thing I detest about auto repairs shops, its when you take your car in for a specific repair and they find a half dozen other problems that need to be repaired too. Especially after inspecting the worn out parts that were replaced only to find they really werent so worn out after all.
I recently relocated to the area and after driving my college age sons vehicle (Volvo wagon) the other day it was clear to me that it was time for a service visit. It was clear to me that my sons car needed new tires, alignment and a thorough check over. Because this was my first time needing auto service in the area, I researched my opportunities and felt like Cary Car Care was a good fit. I was impressed right out of the gate because they were not put off by the fact I wanted to order in my own tires online and have them delivered to them. They were accommodating and scheduled a reasonable date to see my sons car. They were professional enough to even call me once the tires arrived and confirmed my appointment. Naturally I knew the vehicle was going to need some work since the steering wheel was far off center. They called with recommendations, which was quoted at a fair price up front and had my sons car ready as promised with no surprises when paying the bill. I test drove the vehicle after I picked it up and was impressed as to how it drove. The alignment was dead center and I was confident the car was good-to-go for my son. I highly recommend this facility for any service need based on my experience!

Best customer service Ive ever seen at an auto service shop. I know this is a low bar but I was honestly so thrilled that I wasnt talked down to because Im a woman in my 20s. Its sad that this is the first place I can say that about. They were extremely thorough and even checked to make sure there was nothing else due anytime soon for me.
Great service!I searched (past tense post my visit) for a solid set of honest mechanics for the past 3 years. I was always hopeful that I could find a shop near me, and my search let me to Cary Car Care in the summer heat.My 2005 Honda Accord needed some help with the air conditioning system. The team investigated and injected dye and recharged the system. No leak was found, but lets face the fact that my car is 14 years old and never had an air issue before.The best part? They reviewed everything in detail, and offered to take another look if the system doesnt perform as expected. I suspect it was a 14-year-old slow leak.CCC understands the power of customer service, and Im all about customer service. They are professionals and not the bargain basement shop, so I am fine paying a fair price. Be prepared for an appointment at a future date too, but it is totally worth the wait if you can.I intend to schedule future oil changes and inspections with Cary Car Care even though they are 20 minutes away from my home. Yes, I can swing a dead cat and hit a dozen service stations closer to me, but why not continue with those I trust?

I am an SAS employee and I dont think that I really received the 15 percent discount that I was supposed to get, and would really like to know why I didnt?? After I had my car repaired, I price shopped with 3 other repair facilities, and all came in lower, even with my supposed 15 percent off of parts and labor, SAS discount I really wish I had called around before authorizing the work to be completed.Debbie, that answers the phone, has the most phony telephone voice that I have ever heard, she really comes across as fake. And lets talk about Brian on the phone, He really thinks he is smooth, but I can assure you he isnt. I had him on the speaker phone and my husband could not believe the way he was talking with me, almost seeming flirtatious! I found it to be really disturbing.Then to top that all, I was out to lunch with my husband, and we see my car driving by us. The technician was driving it, and so we followed it.I couldnt believe that we witnessed him stopping at the gas station, running in to grab what appeared to be a donut, then he proceeded to eat it in my car, as he went to the ATM at the bank a few blocks from the convenient store!!!I will be telling all of my fellow employees about this and that the discount is a lie!!**EDIT UPDATE** How dare you call me a liar, I am a 15 year veteran of the United States Navy. I know that was my car, because my car has a sticker for my Navy Veteran Status on the back and also a sticker that says I love Boston Terriers. I highly doubt that there are 2 identical twin cars with the same identifying stickers on the backside. I know your mechanic was driving my car to shop at the convenient store, and I also know he used my car to stop at the ATM while he snacked on the goodies that he bought at the store!!This just furthermore reflects on how poorly your treat people! If I could have given you less than one star I surely would have. I wish negative stars were an option.I will tell everyone I know to not go to your shop EVER!!

This was my first visit. CCC is equipped like a large dealership service department, but interacts with customers as a βmom and popβ, which it is. Unlike a dealer, they can help keep costs lower with after- market parts which is a benefit to me. I was impressed that Paul the owner was behind the counter when I walked in, and he took time to ask questions and listen. Same with my service advisor. Debbie, at the front desk is 5 star all the way. Iβll be going back.

We discussed at length my cars various ills and they did not push me to buy or do anything. Seemed very knowledgeable. Will definitely bring my car here for future repairs.
I went in for an opinion on a repair another shop was saying I needed. Everyone there was nice, friendly, and chatted while the car was being looked at. I got an honest and straightforward assessment of what should and should not be done. No pressure to have anything done, or even by them. Classy all the way around!
I needed brakes so I called Cary Car Care for an appt. I called them because I heard good things about them and best yet they are located close to where I live. I called for an appt. and got one right away. My call was professionally handled. It did not take long for my car to be ready. I was very impressed with their customer service. A few days after the work was done they called to see how everything was. I was very impressed and will be calling them soon for other work I need done. I only wish Id known about them years sooner.

My tire pressure was low and im 9 months pregnant, so i gave them a call, and without hesitation, they added air to my tires for me at no charge. Acts of kindness and going above and beyond is what this family company is all about. They will treat you like family and you never have to worry about whether or not they are trying to up sell you on unnecessary services. I highly recommend them to anyone!
