The car I wanted to check out was sold, but Doc convinced me to stop by the dealership as there were more cars in inventory. Since the car that I wanted to check out was sold, I wasnt planning on buying a car or anything. I drove two Outbacks (2019 basic and 2020 premium) and loved the feeling of driving them. I liked the 2019 but the color was not my favorite. While I was out test driving the second Outback, Doc compared a brand new 2022 Outback premium to the second Outback I drove. The price was not any different. Instead of buying a used 2020 Outback that has 20,xxx mileage on it, I ended up buying a brand new 2022 Outback premium for almost the same price. I wouldnt mind working with Doc in the future again. Thanks again! I love my new car!

I go here for service on my Ascent. Great service department, attentive and friendly techs. There seems to be a total disconnect between service and sales. My questions about vehicle spec concerns are never addressed. Also, this dealer couldnt match the deal offered to me by White Bear Subaru. I would have preferred to purchase close to home but was forced to go to White Bear Lake even after showing Walser my offer from WBL in writing. I guess business is so good that potential customers can be easily discarded. Got the same sort of lack of desire to sell on my previous Subaru purchase as well. What a shame.

Phenomenal experience. Will sold me my first Subaru last month, a 2015 BRZ. It is an amazing car and I absolutely love it. Will was incredibly friendly and worked incredibly hard to get me approved on this car.After a couple weeks I noticed a moderate oil leak on my car so I brought it into the service department to have it checked out through my extended warranty. Rhett was incredibly friendly and helpful when checking me in, the technician working on it (I think his name was Scott) sent me a video to explain what they found and what it needed, and it was clear he knew exactly what he was talking about and was well qualified to work on my car. My service advisor, Patrick, verified it was under warranty and gave me all the info I needed. The car was repaired way sooner than I expected and I picked it up this morning. Shes running and driving great and no oil leaks! Not even a drop.As the manager of an auto repair shop and an ASE certified master tech for the last 13 years, I can say I have rarely seen such helpful, friendly, and qualified staff. These men deserve a raise. Whatever you guys are doing when training these fine employees, keep doing it!My wife and I will be back in the future to purchase any future cars. We are sticking with Walser Subaru for life!

Salesman apparently was unaware that the dealership policy had changed and they were no longer taking deposits for used vehicles. Charged me $500 to hold a car that wasnt at the dealership yet and then had to call me to tell me that he had to refund me the money and would try to let me know when the car showed up on the lot. Very poor customer experience from my viewpoint when other Walser dealerships in the area will take deposits.Per the response from the dealership, I gave Bob a call at the number given. I got the voicemail for a Mike Zins not Bob so I called the dealership directly but the receptionist was unable to transfer me to Bobs line because she did not have his number? She took a note and said she would have him call me. He didnt... If I could take my one star review to zero stars I would. The car buying process is not enjoyable. I thought working with a dealer would be different but not this time. Probably because Im trying to buy a used car.

Had a wonderful experience with James and Jeff when we bought our Outback a couple days ago! Initially we started working with Jeff, who was patient and didnt seem to mind one bit that we wanted to drive a ton of cars. We wanted to buy used so we were picky. After going home and discussing and deciding on the vehicle we wanted we reached out again. Unfortunately he would be there to continue working together. He set us up with James who was also incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the Subaru brand. Helped us make the best decision we could! Never once did we feel pressured. We LOVE the car we ended up purchasing. Added bonus that the dealership is lovely and new. Clean and safe. No one minded my antsy kids running around bored from being in a dealership for a couple hours. All in all a great experience and so glad we went Subaru!
