Purchased a S21 from this store earlier this year. I was having an issue with the phone so I brought it in. Store manager helped me out and explained they do not help with phones that I would need to call the insurance line. In the past I have had verizon store help me with my phone since it was within the first year. Now the insurance company does not have my phone in stock even though its the latest model but will let me know when one becomes available. So no phone or help from verizon. Be warned that you are paying to be at their mercy.

The best Verizon store Ive been to yet. Which includes a brand new store. Very well kept. The flow felt welcoming. I personally enjoyed the knowledge of my concerns at that time. Thank you Ivan.Ivan gave me superior customer service with my phone issues.I did find the elevator music a bit loud in the store, I had a hard time hearing the customer service on speakerphone (but it was on a broken smartphone).Overall, I did enjoy this Verizon experience.Thank you

I went to this store to purchase accessories and possibly switch from T-Mobile to Verizon after hearing good things about Verizon service from my peers, unfortunately I had nothing but bad experience at this location. We literally asked someone to help us out because we were having issues with their kiosk. I spoke to a solution manager by the name of Brendon to help us out with the issue we were facing at the kiosk and he seemed not to care at all and told us to wait. He flat out said if you don’t have an appointment you will have to wait to receive assistance. After hearing that, I left all of my items on the counter and walked out because that is not the type of customer service I was expecting or will want to switch to coming from a well reputable company. Please reconsider visiting this store.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I went in there hoping to get some information about how to get my phone repaired as it wasnt wanting to charge. The staff member who greeted me was gracious enough to look at my phone for me and while using a tool was able to clean out a large chunk of dust that had built up in my charging port. This was exactly the fix that I needed and my phone has been great ever since. I am grateful that they took the time to help me and just didnt tell me that that wasnt part of their job.

I went there with a broken phone. Screen and digitizer. The manager told me it was beyond repair so I ended up buying a new one. Afterword I went and had the other one repaired. She either lied or simply didnt know what she was talking about. And she was the manager.

I went to the Verizon and I talked to Adam the solutions manager, Store was empty, but he added me on the waitlist and said I will be able to help you in an hour, I came back in an 1,5. The store was still empty and he refused to help me and kicked me out of the store. They were not customer friendly and helpful at all. He(Adam) said call callcenter and was very disrespectful.

I went to the Mall of America Verizon store to cancel my service and had a terrible experience there. I tried cancelling my service over the phone and through online chat, but the representatives could not verify me after trying for 2 hours and asked me to go in store. I explained my situation to an in-store representative, who then went to get a manager to help.The manager, Theresa, came over and said she completely understood my problem. I was unsure if she did because I hadnt talked with her directly and I asked her to share what she knew to confirm we were on the same page. Instead of confirming, Theresa immediately escalated the conversation by saying in part, Ill tell you what were going to do! in a very angry voice and then saying Im going to have you leave! if you dont listen to me and what I am ordering. It was completely emotional and unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable in this store. Theresa also brought her body physically closer to me while she was standing and I was sitting and had the look of rage on her face. I could not believe this was happening and asked for the Verizon phone number to call in part to get Theresa to calm down (even though calling was not successful two weeks earlier). I also asked to have an in-store representative work with me so the cancellation could go through this time. I just wanted the cancellation to be successful so I would never have to come back here. Theresa told me that she would not have a store representative sit with me. The Verizon team members on the phone will not talk with in store representatives. They will only talk with customers.I knew this was likely not the case and I stayed in store to make the call just in case I needed help. Like I had experienced previously, the phone the representative could not verify my identify and said an in-store representative would be needed. I told the person on the phone that the store manager had said that phone reps will not talk to in-store reps. The person on the phone said that was ridiculous multiple times and said in-store and phone representatives partner together all the time. I then went up to an in-store rep and asked them to work with me (it was 6:30pm on a Sunday and several store reps were just standing around). Once the in-store rep was working with me, the phone representative repeated her statement about working together twice to the in-store rep because what the store manager had said was so against company policy.The phone and in-store representatives worked together for 20-30 minutes to cancel my service and I finally left the store at 7pm with a cancelled plan.This situation should never have happened. I want to work with companies where managers will listen, communicate in a calm manner, and will take reasonable steps to help a customer. That is not what I experienced at this Verizon store. I plan on staying away from Verizon after being a customer for 17 years because of this.

ASK FOR KERRY! No salesman BS just great knowledgeable assistance. He is very knowledgeable about the phones and all their features. He lays it all out and mentions the promotions that may be beneficial. He spent a ton of time with us and never pushed to make a sale. Great friendly personality. I should say that I did not know him before I walked into the Mall of America store a couple weeks ago.I spoke with another gentleman at the store prior to KERRY and got a strong salesmen vibe so I quickly dismissed him.Do yourself a favor and avoid the sales pitch by asking for KERRY! I ended up going with a Google Pixel 3a and couldnt be happier with it and it didnt break the bank. Thanks Kerry.

The general manager greeted me and checked me in. However the experience was as if they didnt want to help us add a line of service and sell us a phone. After waiting 15 minutes then working with the rep for a few moments, I left. I actually have service through another carrier and based on this experience, i dont want to return.I hope they staff this place with people who want to be helpful.

Went in for a service related issue with the phone, and was promptly recognized and helped. The service was quick and efficient. The store was very large and had a lot more hardware to demo than a typical store. Definitely recommend.

Came in on Sunday to return cases for the tablets. Wrong size. The sales reps grabbed a few people ahead of us and put us in the que. We sat there for 40 extra minutes waiting for someone to help us, while they had available reps stating around. On one occasion I walked to an available sales rep who told me to continue waiting as our name was up for assistance. I went back to my chair as he continued standing and waiting for the new clients. After a while he started walking toward another family and then glanced at us and walked to us instead. Finally we got assistance. It took 3 minutes to return the items, but we waited for 40 min. While watching how they work I realized that they assist buyers first, but when you bring returns they treat you like you don’t matter. Be ware once you make the purchase you don’t matter!

Id normally give 5 for Verizon, but I was a bit disappointed. The girl who helped us was really sweet but didnt seem to know anything (and never mentioned hey Im new and Im learning). Even though the store was near empty, service was painfully slow. Everyone was nice, shopping for a phone was awesome in the way they have that experience set up--they have this HUGE touch screen in the back near the phones. Fricking awesome. Overall, not bad!

We have been a customer of Verizon for years. Our batteries needed a charge and Verizon had a customer area with chargers and sofas where you could just chill while u top off your battery. They didnt try to sell us anything while we charged our phone and they didnt have a problem visiting and just talking tech. Great store with some great employees!

I stopped in on Black Friday and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service on such a busy day. Logan and Nate were outstanding! Together, they helped me get a replacement phone and informed me of how I could switch my plan to get additional services at a lower price. On top of the TREMENDOUS service, the store itself has many interesting displays which show you cutting edge consumer and commercial technology.I have been to many Verizon stores and this one has, by far, the best customer service.

Service was very slow even on a very slow day. It took them a very long time to get to me even though I was the only person waiting after the people they were currently helping. Once they got to me, it took them three minutes to take care of me, but I waited for about a half hour before that. They did take care of me, but I dont think Im coming back to this store.

Working in an field of customer service, I know how it feels when someone comes in close to closing time, but I always serve them happily an willingly. Why is it that at a store closing at 9:30, with multiple employees standing around doing nothing its too much work to fulfill a simple request especially when I arrive at 9:20? Why does a store close at 9:30 if you are only going to respectfully treat customers until 9:20.

Phenomenal selection unlike any other Verizon store Ive been to. Staff was busy, but able to accommodate everyone in a timely manner with respect. Was able to pick up an awesome case for my Note 8 and a bluetooth speaker I got a steal on. Would recommend to anyone if you have time while youre cruising the mall.

We like the store but with the new state taxes and services that are no longer provided in the store is messed up. Idk maybe Im just complaining about nothing but I was glad to get my phone on the spot without paying our of pocket and the services provided was helpful. Will re-evaluate in a few days with this new at home transfer and see if we need to switch cell companies.

I went here on a Wednesday, employees were not busy at all. I’ve always ordered my phone online, got it delivered to my house and then gone to the store to get their help activating and getting it all set up and ready to go. But was told this is no longer a provided service as people like to do it themselves now and it takes too much time for employees. This makes no sense at all to me, what is the point of even having a store? Sounds like everyone is going to lose their jobs. The guy “helping” me was very rude, and activated my phone and then left me without either phone working and I left in tears extremely frustrated and had to try to find my family in the giant mall. Later went back with them, and another guy was nice enough to help as he saw how upset I was but still had an attitude about helping.

Applied screen protect and left in bubbles and creases. Took it back they gave me a new screen protector and it was the wrong one. Service was horrible and then when they exchanged protection with wrong one. They became incompetent.

This store is poorly run, poorly managed and completely understaffed.Waited over half hour in line after being told a 15-20 minute wait time, and decided to leave, upon leaving they asked our name, to check out take us off the list, only to find out we were either removed without our knowledge or never added to the list. We never left the store or waiting area, no excuses for their terrible service.Lost an opportunity to sell us new customers, 4 lines and 4 new phones.Not surprisingly, I think well stay with our current provider if this is the best service you can get in person. What a joke.Im willing to wager they care so little about everything this review will go completely unnoticed.

One salesgirl, with fair hair, is absolutely a cheat!She tried to charge me activation fee which should not be charged in my case.In that store, prices for many goods are not marked, so that the salesgirl can namethe price as she wants. When you walk in tell them that you are there to buy a phone...only a phone, they will continue to try to push stupid, overpriced products on you. The sales techniques are shady. They will surround you with multiple employees and pressure you. Super annoying. Also, verizon has pretty much made it impossible to get a phone at a reasonable price. You almost HAVE to pay the phone in monthly payments, which means you end up paying full retail value of the phone. I have been a long time customer, but I hate this store.

Do not waste your time with this Verizon store. They will lie to you when you try to get a new phone.We asked several times if this will change our plan and they said no. We even bought a tablet. when I went to pay my bill a couple weeks later I noticed that my plan was changed. I talked with the store manager and he confirmed that my plan did indeed changed and there was nothing he could do. We lost 4 gigs of data. He would not honor my prior plan that We had for years and they changed without my consent. It is to bad that they can change your plan with out letting you know and not trying to make things right!

My husband was threatened with physical violence by a staff member on Memorial Day 2018 at Verizon Mall of America. This threat was witnessed by his supervisor, along with the rest of the store. Management stated that the staff member was a good guy and dismissed the threat. When we complained to HIS manager...lets just say Verizon values its customers safety.
