My phone was ran over by a car today and the screen was completely shattered. Went to a local Verizon and the staff was condescending and unhelpful. Went to iMechanic and their staff was understanding, quick to act, and fixed my completely unreadable screen in less than fifteen minutes. Amazing service at such a good price, definitely would recommend to anyone needing their devices fixed in Bloomington.

I was recommended this place by a friend of mine and was definitely not disappointed! They were super helpful and very friendly. Their pricing is reasonable and they did not mess around on timing. Really not worth your time, I set up an appointment to drop off my boyfriends phone to get the battery replaced and was told they would overnight a battery and it would be done the next day. The second day I called and they said they were working on it and would call when it was done. Nothing no call, text, not even an email. The third day we went into the store and to pick it up because he could not wait any longer, he needed it for work. We get there and when we gave our information and what phone it was it suddenly was hard to find? The guy disappeared for about 10 minutes after he said he needed to find it. *SIDE NOTE* My phone and my boyfriends phone share our locations constantly! I was checking about every hour for those three days. Not once did it disconnect nor show it was offline. Just sitting at the shop, slowly draining its battery. We are waiting for the guy and all of a sudden it goes offline. Anyway, the guy finally comes back out says he has the phone taken apart but cant fix it because apparently they ordered the wrong battery on the second day. So they didnt order the battery as they said the first day?In short, their story on working on the phone didnt match up. Also there was no communication. If they ordered the wrong battery and gave me an estimation they should have called and explained why and the new time estimate. Not leave someone without a phone and have NO CLUE WHY.Honestly if I could rate 0 stars I would this was a sad experience, on a repair that should only take 40 minutes.

They really stand behind their work. I dropped my phone without a case and broke the screen. They were able to get it fixed quickly. However, there was a small problem with phantom screen pressing that emerged after a couple days. They stood behind their work and fixed the issue for free. This screen has been working great ever since. They were fast and professional. Honestly i am going to call them for any issues i have with my phone or laptop going forward because this was a very solid experience.

Had a charging port replaced. They did the work in 24 hours. The price was fair. The only complaint I have is that I got my device back dirtier than I submitted it, covered with greasy fingerprints (and in a pandemic-EWW!). I spent the first ten minutes with my newly restored device just CLEANING it. Although the work itself seems good and is warranteed, a repair shop that doesnt clean up after itself does not deserve a perfect rating.

Hey, I brought my xbox one x here to get fixed and they actually some how messed it up further. To be exact, they set me back $75 !! They had the thing for almost 2 weeks and actually managed to break it further. I have picture proof from an actual professional of the terrible job they did. They clearly lack expertise with consoles and I highly recommend never getting one fixed here. Also, they gave me my xbox one x back the first time apparently fixed and it was still broken when I got home. Overall, just a heart wrenching experience.

Over the course of 2 repairs, they were supposed to call me back 5 times when parts arrived, or when my device was ready to pick up, etc. I had to call them every single time to check if my device was done.Other than that, theyve been friendly and helpful.

These guys are great and definitely know what they are doing. I brought in a 27-in iMac several months ago and they were able to replace the power supply and it was very inexpensive. I went in today and they went over their policies and its great that they dont charge a diagnostic fee. A simple iPhone battery replacement is only 60 bucks, thats a very good deal. I highly recommend if you have any devices that are broken or need some TLC to bring your device to them.

Took my Samsung Galaxy S8+ in for a screen replacement. Screen was replaced, but in the process my charge port quit working which resulted in no cell service. I needed a repair on an iPad 4 that couldnt connect to WiFi. The store tried replacing the antenna. No dice. They tried factory reset. Nope. In the end, they were unable to repair my iPad and its a brick.These people are really great. They didnt charge me anything even though Im sure the work took several person hours. I took my macbook there a few weeks ago and they gave it to me wayyy faster than expected, which isn’t a good thing. i took it there because i had a ‘bad screen’ (which is what they said) but it was actually only the backlights. right as i got it back i noticed two things, the back of my computer has a cheap chinese backing to it and my caps lock was my green when before it was white (by the way, i have to press it a good six times for it to even work). then i started noticing a few other things, like how i literally have to log into my icloud every single time i open it (even though that never happened to me before), how slow it is all the time (it takes ten minutes for safari to even open up even though before it took less than a second), and how my battery will go from 100% to dead in 30 minutes when before my computer would only go down 30% in three weeks even if i was on it all day. and fourty minutes ago i tried logging into my icloud which i never had to do before and it hasn’t even logged me in yet! something else that i noticed is how my mail app is literally receiving emails from TWO DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS!! one’s not even mine and i have no idea how that even happened, nothing like that has EVER happened to me! something else is that they changed the date and time (i’m writing this on a wednesday on one in the morning) it says it’s sunday at 7pm! and another thing is that before i took it to imechanic the storage on my computer only took up 60gb, now it takes up 100gb! i only have 2gbs left on my computer! DO NOT go here, they will SCAM YOU! i had to pay hundreds of dollars here to get my computer fixed, but it made things way worse! also, don’t let these nice comments fool you. they buy all of their reviews! oh and whenever i first called them the worker was super rude to me, and whenever i called them once i noticed all of this was wrong AFTER they fixed it, they said it wasn’t related whenever IT ACTUALLY IS!!!! i’m coming back and expecting a full refund so i can buy a new computer!!!! AMAZING! My fiancés phone had been slowly dying for about six months. It kept not charging unless the cord was at a specific angle. Then eventually it completely stopped charging and died. Someone at the Verizon store recommended that I check out iMechanic. They literally fixed the phone for free in less than two minutes. There was some debris/lint that was stuck in the charging port. They removed it, it charged, problem solved!

We went to a phone repair service in the area that couldnt repair our phone after 2 days of trying and was charged $80.00.Our insurance said to go to another shop and we chose these guys. We spent all of 20 minutes to get the phone fixed and these guys didnt charge anything. Go figure.

They called within 2 days of me dropping it off to have it looked at & said it was just a connection issue & that they plugged everything back in and its working properly. These guys are over and beyond as well as very reasonable pricing. I had a laptop that was running extremely slow, these guys took the time to extract my very valuable files and allowed me to make sure they had gotten all I needed before wiping my computer. I was missing 2 files that I had spent hundreds of hours on and he went back and saved it for me. I highly recommend these guys for both iPhones and computer work.

Team at iMechanic brought my iPad Air 3 back from a 15’ fall onto concrete in a flimsy case. Replaced the screen, revived Touch ID sensor and straightened the bent aluminum shell. Works great!

They have helped us many times over with screen repairs. Today they gave me something I thought was lost forever. My MacBook Pro totally died 8 years ago with all of my son’s baby pictures on it. They were able to retrieve everything! My 11 year old son had never seen what he looked like under the age of three. I can’t say enough. They were reasonable with cost and now we have our home movies back. In general, they have been very professional and I have seen them be so patient with their “non-techy” customers! Thanks!

Not only were they unable to repair my iMac computer. They did not contact me for several weeks at a time. When I came in to get it; there was more damage than when I brought it in to begin with. I have never been so disappointed with a service.The staff was friendly when I was present and they say they are willing to work with you on payments. If only I could have got that far.

I dont know if there is a way I can rate 0 stars but I very well would if I could. I gave them my laptop for a free diagnosis, where they told me that my logic board was faulty and it was going to cost a ton of money to get it repaired. After I got it back, I took the laptop to an apple store where they found that iMechanic removed my battery cover, failed to put parts back in it (so my laptop now is missing parts) and they managed to cause water damage. Now because of this my laptop is entirely messed up more than imaginable.Ps: There was no water damage or anything prior to them touching my laptop.

I took my shattered iPhone 7+ and for repair without an appointment . They promised me it would be done in two hours. It was. However, apparently they had gotten a bad screen from the manufacture. My screen was pink, The power button was warm, my battery was draining in two hours instead of 36 to 40. I took the phone back in and they again promised me it would be done in two hours. It was. This time it was perfect. They kept their promise to fix any problems. I would definitely use them again if I needed a phone repair. The prices were cheaper than any place I had found and they work fast!

Poor service...ZERO COMMUNICATION! After reading the reviews online and speaking with a rep at the store, I decided to try this service! Free diagnostic sounded like what I needed. I was told someone would call after 24-48 hrs (I received no call). I had to call into the third day for info. I was told parts were on order (not for what I reported the problem to be though). One week later I had still received zero phone calls and decided to stop in and see what was going on.Needless to say, I walked out of the store with my broken computer and an apology that no one called me about it. No diagnostic completed, no communication!Be warned...there are probably better repair places!

I dropped off my Macbook Air for a FREE diagnostic test. Originally, the technicians thought that my laptop needed a new battery. Therefore, I paid for the new battery. However, after opening the computer, they discovered the need to conduct a simple water repair. They called me back, took responsibility for the misdiagnosis, and refunded me the difference between the cost of a new battery and the cost of water repair. I enjoyed my experience and will be back as needed!

I brought my sons PlayStation 4 in 2 weeks ago, they never called back the only time they contacted me was when I called to get a update it’s march 25th and I called them to find out it was not repairable which is fine, the thing is they discovered this on the 21st so if I had a choose to give them zero stars that’s what they would have gotten. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They have the worst customer service by not returning calls or emails!!

I went in last Saturday to have my iPhone 6 plus repaired. They replaced the screen in an hour and half, no problems and put on a glass screen protector for $15 dollars. Great place and great prices.

Convenient and fast. Fixed my iPhone 6 plus screen. The new screen didnt stay in place due to a ding on edge. Replaced again in short order, and no problems. Local company, and they are helping people out quickly!

If we had an alternative, Id recommend going there instead. Every time anyone in my family has broken a screen, theyve been super nice about replacing it. But every single time the process of replacing the screen has broken at least one of the audio inputs or audio outputs. Apparently this is super common, but they dont seem to have a process for testing these things before returning your phone, so you have to learn about it the hard way, and make another trip back to get them to fix it. Theyre usually nice about trying to fix the secondary problem, but while theyre in there a different audio component breaks, and you have to go back. And back. And back. And finally you decide to live with a phone that doesnt really work as a phone.

I’ve had trouble charging my IPhone 6 for nearly 2 years. I took my phone into IMechanic and they fixed it in a couple of minutes - for free. I’ll definitely come back if I need help with my phone in the future.

I walked into iMechanic after seeing them online and they were easily able to fix my cracked screen. Thankfully, they were able to fix it for me in about 30 minutes while also providing fantastic customer service. First off, 99% of these reviews are FAKE. When you click on any of the five star reviews, they all have only written one review ever, a review for this place. The chances of that are close to none, I would know as I write a lot of reviews. It is also illegal. Now, I brought in my iPhone because they said the repair would be seamless and fast. When I picked up my phone my screen was not the correct color. I brought this up only to be told that I had agreed to this when I came in earlier that day. I never agreed to this, but I left all the same. A month later and my iPhone was shattered again. I was told that this was my fault and that they would not be replacing it unless I paid for a new repair. Do not go here.

I just had an experience at iMechanic that I will label neutral. I left a perfectly functional but battery glitzy iPad Pro at the shop 7 days ago with a three to five day turnaround verbally stated. They made no contact during the time it was there. I had decided I would pick it up today, fixed or not. Not is what I got. David informed me the they did replace the battery but it did not improve the fact that the battery appears to go haywire when unplugged. He wanted the opportunity to try with a different replacement battery, but I had lost confidence in their services and just wanted to take it home.Had there been some communication on their part in the process, I may have had more patience. This review was written on said iPad,, pretty much right back to the same condition before I took it in, functional when plugged in but unusable on battery.

I deleted everything on my MacBook Pro, including the entire operating system. They had it fixed in about 3 hours for an amazing price. Everyone I encounted or spoke to on the phone was very friendly and courteous. Thanks guys!
