The car I bought was a 2012 jeep grand Cherokee overland for $20,000.0072000 miles. 1 owner.The oil change sticker was overdue and the rear hatch lift support was not functioning. I elected to fix the lift support myself, so they credited me $130.00. More than enough.The 2nd key fob is not functioning, battery I bet.Great car for a hunter fisher guy like me, no complaints....love the power, and on a trip to Chicago this weekend it handled great.
Bought a used car from Andrew and the entire experience was stellar from start to finish. Andrew was very honest about everything and was very tight with his communication. He always got back to me within the day if I had questions or issues. Picked me up from the airport and the facility was fantastic. Friendly staff, everyone was helpful. Overall a grade A experience.
They seem to be the only dealer who sells BMWs with real leather. Sales and service team are always laid back and relaxed. which helps a lot when you are in a hurry and stressed. The service Valet is what sells me! BMW dealerships, in general, are starting to show their age but this one looks like its getting at least a partial update. I think BMW needs to push itself more into the digital age. I think sales could be more virtual than chit chat via text. Not sure why window stickers are not included in website photos.

DO NOT BUY THE MAINTENANCE PLANS FROM MOTORWERKS ON NEW VEHICLES!!!!I purchased my sixth BMW from Motorwerks in April of 2021 - a brand new 2021 X3. As I customarily do, I also purchased a 100,000 mile maintenance plan with the vehicle. When I traded my current BMW in for a new they refunded a prorated balance of my previous maintenance plan to put toward my new vehicle.In October my wife hit a deer and totaled our vehicle. It had 8,000 miles on the car and had NEVER been in for any service or repairs. I called to get a refund on the maintenance plan I just purchased to put toward a new BMW. Motorwerks told me it was no longer refundable...they instituted a new policy. I contacted BMW USA Customer Relations. They were helpful and told me that my plan was definitely refundable and they did not understand why Motorwerks was telling me otherwise. They also helped me write a specific email to Motorwerks to move the refund forward.In the end I sent a lot of emails and talked to the sales manager. He was very professional but after he reviewed the situation he told me the final determination was they would not be refunding my $3,699 despite me NEVER using it and the fact NO ONE can ever use it. I was very disappointed with the service and experience.BUY THE MAINTENCE PLAN AT YOUR OWN RISK HERE!!!!

X3 is NOT a luxury suv by any standard. It just looks like one. It is not give you a smooth ride and it’s loud.Sales and Finance at BMW Motorwerks in Bloomington are good at selling you a car and extras but will not honor promises after you buy it such as a dent package.

Not impressed at all with my experiences with Motorworks BMW. Both times I’ve been there recently they have misdiagnosed problems with my car and cost me lots of time and money and almost left me stranded in Canada after their misdiagnosis of my vehicle. I also get different answers to the same supposed problem on my car both times I brought it there for an alignment saying my car needs new control arms one time and the next time saying it’s because it’s lowered which it is not. Won’t be going back anytime soon, I’ll drive to a different dealer if need be next time.

I waited long and returned without getting any information. I am not sure if the dealership is subscribe with an idea of entertaining certain section of customers or it is with BMW itself. I reached out to Brad Wicklund about a 2022 BMW M3. This guy was AMAZING to talk to. He told me everything I needed to know, was honest about delivery times, was honest about options, and even had some of his own experiences with M cars that he could talk me through. You can tell that he loves his cars and wants to share that joy with everyone he can.Sadly, I didnt end up purchasing through his though sadly because they did not have a current allocation of the exact car I wanted. I ended up going with another dealership because they had the allocation now vs two months from now. In hindsight, this was a mistake. The dealership that I have been working with has been barely responsive and doesnt understand anything about M cars.Brad was more responsive before I committed to purchasing a car from him then my current dealership has been after my deposit. My dealership can’t hold a candle to Brad and if I had to do it again I would have chosen him and Motorwerks BMW all day every day.Please don’t make the same mistake that I did and go with these guys. Even if it means waiting another month or two you will be so thankful in the end when you aren’t waiting a week at a time for a response to a simple question.

I very much enjoyed my buying experience at Motorwerks BMW. I’m a pretty avid car guy and normally when I enter a dealership, I know more about whatever car I’m looking at then the sales person that ends up helping me. However this time I was blown away by the amount of knowledge Stephanie displayed while showing me the 320i I was interested in. If you have any questions she has the answer. Whether you know exactly what car you’re interested in or you have no idea what you want, she will make sure you’re confident in your purchase by the end of the day.

Excellent service.I worked with Hussam and Lucas, both were super good. They explained in detail and helpful.The loaner vehicle turn around time is perfect.The valet service is a nice idea if you have busy calendar. They are prompt and are on time. The pickup was at home and vehicle return was at work. So 5 star at the moment.I had went for brake system recall, bmw asked me for oil change and cabin filter. Cabin filter was not done correctly the first time and was making whistle noise. However, I had second appointment and they fixed it perfectly.Sales department: work with Dylan Fernandes- amazing person and he helps with what you need.
Ive been there twice to shop for a car since I moved up here and their customer service isnt that great. I understand we are in a pandemic and there is a car shortage so used car prices has gone up, but when I was doing a trade in and asked if there were any incentives I can get to help keep my monthly payments a bit lower, the sales rep said there is nothing we can do to lower the price or offer incentives because if you dont buy this car, someone else will. I left the dealer a bit disappointed. I have been leasing BMW cars for me and my spouse since 2012 and always had a dealer work with us to give a great deal. I even purchased one during the pandemic at a dealer in Florida and they even gave me a great deal.I ended up going to the dealership in Minnetonka and explained to them my experience over at Motorwerks and they worked the best they can to give me a great deal. They even went over asking price on my vehicle compared to what motorwerks were offering me for my trade in but I didnt end up with a car because the one I wanted was already being looked at someone put in a offer and bought the car.
1st time BMW owner X3 fine car. At 3rd oil change told I needed new tires. My local tire dealer said I just needed tires rotated and alignment. Service person told me they only do manufacturers recommendation which doesnt include rotating, balancing etc.? He said Im eligible for new wipers, ha. My tire dealer suspects I should have been advised to rotate tires at 20,000 miles. Last time BMW owner.
Man, this dealership is first class. I came in looking for a car, and was helped by Mr. Andrew Nylin, who was a professional, attentive, and also incredibly easy to talk to. If your looking for something, talk with him! He made the whole process super easy, and i drove my beautiful car away from the lot a short time later that day.The entire place made me feel welcome, and even the nice woman at the front desk came out to wave goodbye with a smile while i was driving off the lot! Had an out of warranty repair performed at a great discount since the car wasnt very far out of the warranty period. I had hoped this might happen, but didnt count on it. It turned out not only did they happily do it but it turned out even less expensive than I had hoped for, far less than the quotes from any other shops or dealer in town. Overall a really pleasing experience. Im a returning customer and will certainly stay that way.

I drive an X2 and getting my car serviced here for the last 2 and a half years. Earlier this summer at my last service appointment it was noted that I needed new tires. Since I wasn’t driving too much due to our office closure I decided to wait until the end of the summer.Now that the end of summer is here, I was thinking maybe just trading in my old car for something newer and a little larger, instead of putting another $2000 into my current car. I reached out to Motorwerks BMW online to schedule an appointment to get my car appraised - Anthony Borrell from internet sales contacted me soon after. It was offered for me to test drive an X3 while they were assessing my car - perfectly reasonable and a good use of time.The experience started to go south as soon as I arrived at the dealership for my appointment at 3pm. Lots of delays, running around with papers, car wasn’t ready for me to test drive - spent 20 minutes waiting for everyone to be ready. Product was beautiful and I loved it, however, due to the chip shortage it was understood the configuration I wanted wasn’t going to be available for another 2-4 months. It was offered a production spot sometime in November - which may have worked, but would still need to invest in new tires and wasn’t sure I wanted to wait that long. So when I asked what the feedback was on my trade in, he explained they couldn’t give me any price or feedback unless I agree to another deal - that’s pretty dumb considering this was the whole purpose of my visit, and also how would I know if I wanted to order a new car not knowing what a rough estimate of my trade in would be (to determine my down payment). Anyway, I left the dealership without anything accomplished that I wanted and called back letting Anthony know I was a little irritated about wasting all that time. We knew going in, they did not have a car I wanted in stock. When I pressed for the trade in value, he quoted $23,500 for my 2018 BMW X2 with 28,500 miles on it …. Prior to this appointment I was offered $29,000 for it at a non-bmw dealership, $28,000 from the one before that - prices offered without commitment to buying another vehicle. Needless to say, I was more irritated and wanted to provide my feedback for other potential customers.My recommendation -1. If you value your time, don’t go to Motorwerks BMW.2. If you want a fair value on your trade-in, don’t go to Motorwerks BMW.3. If you would like to have an honest and direct conversation about spending $60k on a new vehicle without having to play games, do not go to Motorwerks BMW.4. If you would like a respectful conversation from someone who wants to earn your business, do not reach out to Anthony or go to Motorwerks BMW.After all that was said and done, I put my deposit down on another vehicle and will be retiring from BMWs. I get to pick up my new car on Monday - appreciated the experience I had at Borton Volvo/Polestar in Golden Valley.
I have never had as bad of a customer service experience as I did trying to talk to your service department. They were rude and sounded annoyed to even give an estimate the first guy wouldnt even do it the person the next day wasnt much better. As I already knew I was looking at around 1500 to 2000 dollars for an fcm I was sorely disappointed in this attitude. Customer service matters and for that reason alone I will be taking my car the extra 45 min from my home to Rochester because they actually seem to get that.

This was the easiest experience Ive ever had buying a car, new OR used. From my first text message via the Motorwerks website (Stephanie responded almost immediately after hours on a Friday evening) to my delivery, it was so simple and easy. Shawn was respectful of what I wanted and gave me great guidance without an ounce of pressure. Stephanie was always available to help me when I had questions along the way. After a terrible 4 year experience with a luxury, electric car maker, I couldnt be more pleased with my new X5. I wish I had switched sooner.

Id give one star for my experience but I really enjoyed my sales person and want honor his work. But in finance the process was deceptive and dishonest and when brought to the attention of the used car sales manager, I was written off and was fed more misinformation. I am so disappointed in my experience because in the end, they wouldnt make good and correct the original issue. I feel like they will do whatever to get the deal done, including giving you misleading information and push toward a specific bank Ally where they receive a benefit from if they send business there. Again, sales person great....finance and used car store manager, lived up to the typical dealership stereotype. Unfortunately, will not purchase another vehicle from them.

They made it seem real smooth with me buying a car but that was only cause I had perfect credit but they still gave me peanuts for my amazing trade in. It was a real let down. I brought my 2014 328i x-drive in for oil service. Nic worked with me. He is so helpful and friendly. When my vehicle was done and I was getting ready to leave, I made a comment to Nic about a 2021 330i with the M Sport package I saw on their website. He showed me one sitting in the service garage and then introduced me to Stephanie. She is fantastic. Stephanie introduced me to Shawn in sales. She is Shawn’s assistant. These two are a dynamic duo. From introduction, test driving, discussing purchase vs lease, approval process, it went so smoothly. They were awesome. Then introduced to Sonny in finance. (Welcome to MN, Sonny). So personable and easy signing the agreement. Last was Elijah. He gave me a tutorial on the many features of my new vehicle. Very informative and nice guy. It was a long day but so worth it. To go in for an oil change and leave with a brand new vehicle, totally unexpected and super exciting! Top notch dealership and highly recommend working with this team! This is my 2nd BMW from Motorwerks. I am a very happy customer and Motorwerks is my dealership. Thank you all!
Rick, my “advisor”, was very helpful and was even able to get my price down from the original estimate! Communication was excellent. He let me know what was going on throughout the process, taking time to explain my options, or answering any questions I had. It ended up being more expensive than I thought it would be, (go figure) but he referred me to a company which financed me for $2,500 of the cost, interest free if paid off in 3 months!! It was approximately $5,000 to replace the timing chain and the front thrust rod bushings. Both services came with a 2-yr warranty on everything that was removed in order to change them out, so basically the whole front of the motor. I was very happy with that. I also received a FREE Car-fax report for my vehicle from Motorwerks BMW in Bloomington, MN.The reason I’m giving only 4 stars is because I feel that they are over-priced and I’m quite disappointed that I already have to fix the turbo due to a faulty gasket. $6,000 seems like a lot just because of a gasket that probably costs less than $10 to make. The only choice they gave me was to replace the whole turbo, this seems ridiculous to me when it’s only the gasket that’s going bad. My car is only 8 yrs old with 128,000 miles on it, why is the turbo charger failing already? There should be a recall on it if that’s the case. However, that part of the issue is out of the hands of the dealership. Overall, I had a great experience here and would recommend them to a friend. Just make sure you’ve got your checkbook handy, it’s most likely not gonna be cheap.

Andy in service is a real star. He’s mainly been the one handling the maintenance and repairs on our three BMWs for a few years now and I’ve only had great experiences. He manages service swiftly and efficiently, and is a great communicator- always ready to pick up the phone or reply to an email. He offers smart advice about how to proceed when a car needs something and somehow always treats me like his highest priority even though I know he might be juggling 30 customers in a day. Highly recommend.
Great experience, able to do numbers virtually. Got a deal I was happy with and better than local dealerships. Drove 3 hours to get the vehicle I wanted. They even filled the gas tank of a used car :) Tim was great iWork with.
Best BMW dealer in Minnesota for service they use BMW value service pricing which for most models of BMW makes maintenance much cheaper that the other BMW dealer in the state.
Flashback to that time I wanted to buy a 3 series, couldnt get a sales guy to give me the time of day, and then was given an M3 with no fuel to test drive instead of a standard 3 series.Anyway Im really enjoying my Audi now.Nice selection though, the massive indoor showroom is neat.
Do not take your BMW to BMW MOTORWORKS! I took my BMW in for an oil issue and they tried to sell me a brake sensor ( my brake light was not on!) I did not have any brake problems previously! When I picked up my car my brake light was on and they said they couldn’t do anything about the problem unless I changed the sensor which I explained I didn’t want to purchase keep in mind I didn’t have a brake light on or brake issues prior to service! My oil gage was not engaging after they serviced the car and they didn’t repair correctly and still charged me for diagnosing vehicle! Beware! Go to WAYZATA BMW for SERVICE

Tony Ly in service was great to work with. I had to come in on a Saturday to compare some estimates and Tony was friendly and professional in advising me about my vehicle. He was able to get a competitive estimate for me on some prior recommendations for my five series Thanks Tony.
Honesty and integrity. Nic Krane and Erik the service manager helped us resolve an issue that had reached an impasse with the other dealership, Minnetonka BMW and GM Ric Saatzer regarding a problematic BMW X3, riddled with service issues since it was purchased there.After having several negative interactions at Minnetonka BMW, the GM ultimately had pushed us into a corner giving us options to repair a timing chain for the 2nd time after only 40K miles. He made us a lowball offer on a trade in so he could sell us a new car. Or he would charge us a high price for repair. Saatzer admitted he knew how much we owed on the vehicle and factored his offer against that financial information putting more pressure on us to accept it. When we resisted and told him that we would rather repair the car and then get a fair price on a car in working order, he said that we were taking the wrong option, and then disclosed that he wouldn’t be able to honor the promised quoted price because subsequent issues would likely be revealed in the process and it wouldn’t be cost effective. Furthermore Ric said the car wouldnt be worth more on trade if repaired, because he would drop it off at the auto auction and push down a broken down disaster vehicle to the valuable pool of BMW loyal customers.We pleaded with him further to be fair and received no additional help.Eventually we consulted with BMW Motorwerks and they offered to help with a fair outcome. After diagnosing the car at their location, they determined that the failed timing chain had also broken guides and debris had reached the oil pan, and destroyed the oil pump and starved the engine of lubrication.Nick and Erik set up a call and explained the situation and also reached out and advocated with BMWNA to replace the engine in the vehicle. They literally rescued us from the worst situation and presented us with the best customer service we couldn’t have imagine in comparison. The car was sitting for two months, and when I let GM Saatzer know of the outcome created by Penske, he never call me back to discuss or apologize.Clearly Penske ownership and management are car professionals who understand what and how premium cars and service should reflect to the valued luxury customer base.I will not trust Minnetonka BMW again or recommend them. Anyone that wants BMW service should only rely on Motorwerks BMW.

I almost never write reviews, but I just wanted to say how grateful I was to Motorwerks BMW for the work they did on my car right before the certified warranty was up. In addition to telling me about stuff that needed to be fixed that was covered by the warranty they also fixed stuff that wasnt, which they could have not told me about and charged me SIGNIFICANTLY more to fix when the car wasnt already taken apart. We have all heard horror stories about getting ripped of when getting our cars fixed, but I was treated so fairly and ethically here. I highly! recommended this BMW dealership. They offer the experience we all hope for!

He even remembered me from when I came in with my husband to turn in his leased 4 Series convertible. I ordered my car from Germany, and even though it took 10 weeks to arrive, the wait was worth it. The service department is horrific. Ive been placed on automated dials for service I have already completed, had things taken from my truck and not returned and even had them tamper with my drive cam to make it inoperational. The service manager was not helpful and didnt even identify who he was when I called. Honestly it doesnt matter because he seems confused over what is going on within his department.The parts department is completely the opposite. Ive had them give me a bottle of oil because they were closing when I came in - no charge. Joel is one of their long term parts guys and always knows his stuff.However, after 4 years of trying to work with this dealer as the closest option, the overall experience wouldnt cause me to recommend or return.

I couldn’t have felt more comfortable around the entire staff. Rafil was very helpful on finding the right car for me. It took a couple of days to find the right one and I was very excited to drive it home. At the last minute I realized it wasn’t the right time and decided to sleep on it. I didn’t feel pressured to decide that day and for that I thank them.

Brought my 06 BMW in because AC WASNT WORKING. WAS CHARGED $2200 WORTH of Diagnostics STILL NO FIXED AC UNIT..Left AND WENT DIRECTLY TO A MOM AND POP TO GET THE PROBLEM FIXED AND DIAGNOSED PROPERLY...WRITING THIS TO HOPEFULLY STOP SOMEONE ELSE FROM BEING SCAMMED OUT OF THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY ....

Service department, really disappointedWe drop off our vehicle last week for service and the staff wasnt to helpful, and today we pick up the vehicle, and they didnt work on the items we show them to work on it.Also they replace one of the wheels and install a older wheel with scratches on.And many other issues to mentionWe are really dissatisfied with the service at allThe stain on the seat was there before we purchase the vehicle and they didnt work on it ether, also now we just found scratches on one of the screensThank you

I’m kind of disappointed of BMW period. I’m bmw enthusiastic… I always had bmw and I know how to take care of it. I always take my cars to bmw dealer and get done all the services or maintenance that it needs to be done. The reason I do it is because I want my automobile to be in great shape. I recently bought BMW X5 last year and I start having issues few months later with oil consumption. I never had an x5 but I think was one of the biggest mistake of my life. Long story short, I took the vehicle to bmw Minnetonka and Ali the service representative to check the engine light because was on( nothing wrong was with the vehicle at the moment yet) so Ali told that they have to ran diagnostic for oil consumption but in order to do that I had to replace two injectors. Also they told that I was qualified for free engine for the class auction that bmw has at this moment so I said yes. I expended $3,700 for that and I was told they couldn’t do it because I need to replace the timing belt too. Another words they want to fix that to even tho the car was showing that the car was burning oil. Few months later I brought my car to bmw Bloomington for oil change and also I ran it for the test for oil consumption and i was told I qualified for it. But I had to pay from $1,500 to $4,500 so till yesterday brought my car and I got call from dealer that I had to pay almost $10,000 because I drove the car even tho I never went over 100,00 mileage. At the end bmw it’s just a big SCAM. All issues that come to the engine it was because lack of oil and that was cause because the motor itself and that was the class auction. This makes you think how big companies work and realized that they like your money and even that’s their fault some how still getting the money. I’m not a mechanic but it’s common sense how things works. Bmw just care about our money and that is it….great job BMW! Thanks for solving your own mistakes with our money!
This was our first time into Motorwerks BMW.My partner & I had been talking about buying a new SUV for a few months.We went into the showroom & Trish (Client Advisor) greeted us with a very friendly hello and proceeded to ask us how she could assist us with our visit today at Motorwerks BMWTrish did a phenomenal job with the whole vehicle buying experience. Trish is personable & will make sure all your car needs are met. If you plan on making a stop in here for your next vehicle make sure you ask for Trish.My partner & I had a great experience with Trung (F&I Manager. Trung went over the sale of the car with us & also explained the warranty more in depth for our 2021 X7. Trung suggested that we get the front end wrapped on the X7 & the outside/inside be treated with a ceramic coating. They set an appointment for us and will have a loaner car for us.If you are in the market for a new or used BMW, make sure you stop into Motorwerks BMW. Make sure to ask for Trish (Client Advisor) & for financing ask to work with Trung (F&I Manager). These two will make sure all your car needs are taken care of.
