Andy Mohegan Honda is always professional and efficient. The staff is helpful. I appreciate that the “check-ups” for my car include preventative maintenance. This more than anything is what I value most from the service from Andy Mohr Honda.
Customer care is not a high priority any longer. The service department has capable and competent mechanics, however the doesn’t make up for the lack of follow through by service staff. On the last three occasions I have been left scrambling to get ahold of anyone in the service department after repeatedly asking for updates.
I went to Andy Mohr Honda on a Saturday to test drive a CR-V. Salesmen Tim and Ryan were extremely helpful in quickly setting up a test drive, and then explaining all the details of the vehicle. I wanted a different color than they had available, so they showed me a few other CR-Vs that had just been brought in, and were awaiting processing for sale. On Tuesday they called to let me know that the color and type I wanted had just arrived, and I said yes to the deal once we went over the pricing. The Finance Manager, Derrick, did a great job and explained the financing options to me over the phone, I provided all the necessary information and deposit, and the new Honda CR-V Hybrid EX was mine! Even better, the salesmen Tim and Ryan delivered my new vehicle directly to my house the next day! You couldnt ask for a better experience than I had with the team at Andy Mohr Honda! A shout out to the General Manager, Rish, for having such exemplary employees.

I recently purchased a used car from Andy Mohr and I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. I was able to immediately test drive the vehicle I had my eyes on. I have good credit and they were still able to find me better financing than I would have been able to get on my own. The whole process took less than 90 minutes from start to driving off in my new to me car. But what impressed me the most was what happened after my purchase. 15 minutes into my drive home the clutch went in my car, keep in mind I did not purchase a warranty and purchased the vehicle as is. I called my sales associate Kelsea Roberts hoping I could get it in for service ASAP. They immediately sent a tow truck to pick it up and proceeded to fix the issue for FREE. I estimate the cost of all this to be just north of $1,500 on a $7,000 vehicle that I doubt they made much profit on as it was. These guys and gals really care and it shows. Its not about the money at Andy Mohr its about the people, and they just got themselves a satisfied repeat customer! Highly recommend by me!
Had a flat while visiting Bloomington. The service staff replaced my tire (sidewall damage) under my extended warranty, on a drop in basis late Friday PM. Picked up next morning, as promised. Good folks to do business with.

I purchased my vehicle a month ago, the buying process was great. I went in looking for a specific vehicle and after working with Tim, we found something I liked and fit better for my needs. I drove 2 1/2 hrs to this dealership so Tim was great in getting all the work done before I drove back to get the vehicle. The problem comes in when less than a month after buying my battery was shot, I had to spend a couple hundred dollars on a new battery. 4 days after putting a new battery in driving down the highway every light on the car lit up and was making a noise I couldn’t figure out what it was. I pulled over to try to figure it out. I could not, so i called Andy mohr and spoke with Eric the sales manager. I explained to him the situation and he told me it was because I did not replace it with a Honda battery. I explained that should not make a difference at all. His response was that Honda’s are finicky…he checked on my warranty and said it doesn’t kick in until Sunday and to get it towed to the nearest Honda dealer ship then….are you kidding me…why does my warranty not kick in for a fricking month!?!? I told him I can’t leave my car where it is at until Sunday. I asked him if I could speak to a technician to explain what the car is doing to see if I can get an idea If it’s a simple fix so I can take care of it. Erica response to this was a technician won’t be able to help you over the phone. He would not let me speak to one. He was rude and you could tell in his tone of voice he really didn’t want to deal with it at all. He then said in his rude voice…What do you want me to do? Well for one Eric, I would like you to stand behind the product you sell. Less than a month of owning this vehicle I shouldn’t be having issues, I call and the customer service is terrible. These vehicles are suppose to go through an inspection so there should be no issues so soon. Before today I would have recommended this dealership, but after the sales process is done, the good customer service is gone and this is what you are left with.

Called and had parts ordered and made appointment a week and a half out to have oil changed, brakes checked and new ordered parts installed. Dropped off vehicle for service and mentioned list of things to do. Called to check on vehicle and said would be another hour, so was there over 7 hours. Arrive to pick up vehicle and all services weren’t completed. Was told to make another appointment for a mistake that wasn’t mine. Was also told someone would call me the next day, didn’t happen either. Not the best service.

If I could give a minus in stars, I could give enough of them. We scheduled an oil change along with a sensor check due to an emissions warning showing on the dash. This amazingly took over 3 1/2 hours partially because they lost our keys in someone elses vehicle. Then when it came to to fix the warning sign, they forgot to order the part even though the diagnosis and the work were scheduled weeks apart. They said it would be a one day repair, but then told us that it could be fixed on day one because they had to order the part (which they said they would do at the oil change). On day 2, we left work early because it was promised to be finished; but just in case we decided to call to verify since it was an hour drive for us. Guess what? It wasnt done again, but promised it would be done the next day. We called before we started our drive on Day 3 and we were told that it was complete. Amazingly, when we arrived they once again couldnt find our keys. When they finally did find them, our vehicle was not fixed---they still hadnt even begun the work. Never one single apology, we were even told the the service specialist that our vehicle had been assigned to was still there but no offer to have him complete the work in any way. We were simply told that we had two options---come back tomorrow or take our car somewhere else. REALLY? You just had our vehicle for 3 days and promised that it would be complete each and every day. On top of all this, not one single Im sorry or any attempt an any semblance of anything that sounded any where close to an apology. Actually, Scott told us that it was the mechanics fault because he flagged it as priority and it was the receptionists fault for telling us it was completed. Scott---take some responsibility yourself instead of simply blaming others. You are the one who guaranteed us that this repair would be completed on Day 2 and Day 3, but you got too swamped to do your job and make sure that it actually did get completed as you promised. I have the emails showing the service order showing the exact part and service that was ordered for our repair from the initial oil change appointment. This experience has been nothing but lies on top of lies.
The service department was so thorough and took great care of my Honda. Everything was properly diagnosed and fixed. I received accurate quotes prior to them doing the work so there was no surprise there. Everyone was extremely professional and I especially loved the follow up text to make sure that I was happy with the results after I returned home. I’m a returning customer for sure!

I was pleased with the repair work and overall communication and experience. I am however unsatisfied that the billed amount was 15% higher than the agreed upon estimate with no explanation regarding the variance. I have reached out to the service department but they have yet to get back to me to resolve.

I would most definitely NOT recommend this dealership to anyone.I traded a descent vehicle for one that is not as good.As soon as I finished the deal, I tried to connect my phone to the Bluetooth, and it wouldn’t connect.I was assured by the salesman that they would get it to work and took it back the next day. It still wouldn’t connect. The salesman told me to take it to the Toyota dealership ( since it was a Toyota anc not a Honda). I did that.Toyota did a diagnostic test and found out that the previous owner had spilled something in the dash and that was the reason for the malfunction.I told Andy Mohr about this and that Toyota had told me that my warranty most likely wouldn’t cover the issue. They told me to bring it back to them and they would fix it.After looking at it, Andy Mohr told me they wanted to split the cost of the repair with me. I said absolutely not, they should take care of it and they wouldn’t get any more money from me.After leaving a negative Facebook review, I got a call telling me they would fix it at no cost to me.I wax left with a diagnostic fell from Toyota that I shouldn’t have to pay. If I can prevent even one person from buying a car from these people I will be happy.PLEASE RUN AWAY!!!!

Scott was very helpful when our car broke down an had to be towed to the nearest dealer. This wasnt the dealer we bought the care from and wasnt acquainted with any of the employees. I had my oil changed and the oil life indicator was not reset. When I got home I had oil drain from a frame member onto the garage floor leaving a small puddle. Both of these problems happened on my previous or change and before the start of this oil change I reminded the service advisor that they needed to take care of both of those items this oil change and they did not.

As far as I can tell, the work performed on my car is always *excellent*. They have big problems with communication, however, when the car is in the shop. Last week I approved the work on my car in the early morning, then heard nothing about when/whether the work was finished all day. I finally called in late afternoon, multiple tries for 45 mins. because of no answer or being cut off. Then a service manager would answer, but didnt know the status so he would check, then the call is cut off again, start over - oh, my service manager left for the day, I guess they had to order a part, it should be done tomorrow. Next day, finally received a call from them saying the car would be delayed one *more* day, then a little while later (after making plans to do without the car that evening) another call saying oh, my manager was confused, the service is done and the car can be picked up any time. Its all just exhausting, and while Id love for my next car to be a Honda, Andy Mohr is the only dealer nearby and I dont know whether I can deal with the service department for years. Sorry, it just has to be said.

The woman I spoke with over the phone was very helpful. I wasn’t able to secure an appointment time, but she advised to arrive early in the day and they were able to work my car in to fix my brakes within 30 minutes of dropping it off. The service ended up being cheaper than the initial quote. I felt the woman I spoke with was transparent and thorough about work that was completed over the phone and in person.
Everyone I worked with was friendly, helpful and informative. Eric was really personable and walked me through the whole process from educating me about my car’s special features to my trade in and financing. My car is perfect!
Everyone there is nice and patient, from calling to ask questions to doing the actual test drive. They made the process easy, even though we didnt. They answered any and all questions and made sure the process was done right and fairly. My boyfriend had even bought his car a couple years prior and now financing my car through them, they have 2 happy customers.

I have been here both as a car shopper and for service. All of my experiences have been very positive. I’ve interacted with about half a dozen staff there so far, and all of them have been incredibly friendly and helpful. I didn’t end up buying my car there, but that’s a reflection of my very specific car shopping parameters (a specific model in a less common color for the year that was almost out of inventory). Actually even with my very specific criteria, the sales person was able to find me something very close that I seriously considered.In terms of service, I took my Honda that I bought from a different dealership to get its first regular maintenance. As soon as I opened the door, the service guy noticed that the black rubber seal on my door was hanging off. I asked him if they could fix that too. Well, when my car was ready, he told me that his manager used my seal as a training opportunity to show one of the service staff how to fix it, so not only was it fixed but because it was used for training purposes it was free of charge! Plus, I thought the price on my oil change was super reasonable, I don’t think it was any more than what you’d pay at jiffy lube. I know there’s this saying about how you should never take your car to a dealer... but I definitely will use this dealership for all my service to keep my car as new and healthy as possible!

Got our 2007 / 114,000 miles civic maintained this past weekend. It’s been through a husband and 3 boys (HS parking lots and college campuses) — it may not be pretty... but it’s a workhorse! It needed some bigger ticket repair / maintenance: axle, brake pads, fluids, & tires. Although it added up, we decided to go ahead with it. This car potentially has another 150,000 miles on it. It’s the “extra car” when tire boys visor and we juggle vehicles.Service was courteous & friendly, as always— tho a bit slower than normal— for some reason, they seemed to have a lot of work going on. Maybe just an increase in customers that particular weekend. Usually it’s car in in the morning, pick up late afternoon. But neither here nor there— my Honda repair team always come through with excellent service. It may sometimes be a bit more expensive— I don’t know because I only go to Honda!— but I know it’s always repaired correctly. And if there IS a follow up necessary, it’s always handled promptly, courteously and for no cost.

I had just bought this car at Andy Mohr in Plainfield and came down to have door sills installed. After the install, the car was brought around front and I did a walk around. The car only had 1600 miles on it and it was less than a week since I had it professionally detailed. I immediately spotted the damage (see pic). The service manager claimed that it had to have been a car that parked next to it but I walked out as it was parked. Also the mechanic who drove it out parked it over the line (see pic). I couldnt figure out if it happened while being worked on because the dealerships mechanics decided to shut my dash cam off during the installation. Whats even more suspicious is that later that night I put a light on the paint to see how deep the scratch was and it had swirl marks. There are obvious buff marks (see pic). The car was professionally detailed less than a week ago and the paint was flawless (see pic without scratch, thats how the rest of the car looks). I dont get how there can be so much of a difference between dealerships owned by the same person. Andy Mohr in Fishers treated me like family. I figured I was going to have the same experience here.

Helped us with our bankruptcy and set out to help get into an automobile. Through his efforts we were able to purchase a 2017 Hyandai Tucoma. It is a great car with nice features. He even helped us get our new car added to our insurance. We would like to thank Eric and the finance manager for helping us.
Sent my son to get the oil changed in my Odyssey. They checked him in, he waited in the lobby for 2 hours before anyone came to get him. Hes a new young driver and this was not a good experience for him. After paying for the service, he found the van parked in the parking lot too close to other vehicles for him to comfortably pull out and had to go get someone to help him. We have purchased vehicles and had service at this location for more than 30 years. We were about to start looking for a vehicle to purchase for my son, but are concerned about this unfortunate setback. Interesting that this is the first time Ive never had a follow-up call or email regarding our service.😕

Our salesman, Eric Hoadley, was well informed about all the differences between the Honda cars and models, and helping us learn about the car we finally chose. Keenan Gill, the financial manager, explained all our options well, and we were very happy with the deal we struck. Overall, a very positive experience.

We looked on the website and found a bunch a great vehicles that fit our price range. Went there the next day talked to I think Jason or somethingnlike that, was not helpful. Told him what we were looking for and what we had seen online. He took information and left for a couple minutes came back with vehicles not even close in price range and not willing to help or offer suggestions. Poor service guess I will be taking business to someone that actually wants to help.
I was visiting from out of town, and had a very flat tire the morning I was supposed to leave. They got me in right away, and had the tire fixed within an hour. I got home safely, and wasn’t too delayed. They also worked with my home-city dealer to get info on my road hazard plan, so they didn’t charge me a penny. My service consultant was so friendly and super helpful—I am grateful!

Worst car buying and service experience ever. Found out how badly Hondas are designed when the Honda dealer doesnt know how to maintain/fix them.Details:We bought used 06 Honda Pilot in March 2018, unfortunately relying on the assumption that the Honda dealer knew how to inspect and maintain Hondas. (the previous owner had Andy Mohr service the vehicle on a regular basis).We found out when it was too late that the multi-point used car inspection does not include the timing belt. They say it is too difficult to check whether it has been replaced - if that is true it is a serious design flaw in the Honda Pilot. The Honda pilot is designed in such a way that eventually either the water pump bearing or the belt will fail, so replacement is critical (whether or not you can tell that it has been done - Andy Mohr did not recommend to us that it should be done at our oil change or as part of the used car inspection report) When the water pump bearing fails, it simultaneously drains the coolant out of the engine and causes the pistons to collide and warp. Eight months after purchase, the vehicle died suddenly (with no warning lights or audible signals) and we had it towed back to the dealer.At that point they said the water pump and timing belt needed to be replaced for $1200. They did that, and we paid for it, but it didnt even make it off the lot. Returned to service department for a few hours and they again said it was ready to go. Lasted a few days and then the engine sounded rough and lights went on. Took it back to the dealer. Without going into all details, eventually they told us the entire engine would need to be replaced for thousands of dollars more.At that point, the engine was sitting on the upholstery in the back of the car, Windows rolled down with floor mats taped over the windows and a winter storm coming in. (see pictures of snow on the dashboard and greasy engine in the back). They still wanted us to pay another bill for service they had done so far.They said they guarantee their parts and service but when I asked about the water pump and timing belt repair that they did, they said that the water pump and timing belt work fine. I asked them to show me but of course they couldnt with the engine in the back.There is an invisible line between the sales and service departments, but when I told the salesperson about the problems we were having, he got defensive and asked if I knew the meaning of the phrase caveat emptor. I did not intend to insult his character in the workplace, at least not until he said that. If the dealer cannot tell you if the used vehicle has had proper maintenance done on a used vehicle, I recommend not buying a vehicle from that dealer!Felt like the legendary sawdust trick to make the engine run smoothly and quietly down the road for a few miles.Tip for the salespeople reading this - use this story to sell more used car warranties.I called Honda corporate and they said dealers are independently owned, nothing they could do.We tried disputing the credit card charge but they require a second opinion from a different mechanic and the dealer wanted us to pay extra to get our vehicle back (and it wasnt drivable without the engine). Eventually we told them we werent paying anything more and surrendered the title. Even that was a hassle.I should have posted this sooner but every time I think about Andy Mohr or Hondas I get a sick feeling in my stomach.I hope someone reading this can avoid similar mistakes - timing belts are a bad idea, Hondas generally hide their design flaws with good manufacturing practices but I would much rather have a robust design, and never go to any dealership owned by Andy Mohr for a car or service again.

Theresa was pleasant, efficient and attentive. This visit was in the way of a test, since I have been unimpressed in a previous visit by the short, unfriendly service from a man who may know cars, but isn’t suited for public interactions. I feel the work of the mechanics is consistently good, so I was willing to give them another chance. I will happily return to Theresa for service.
Oil and filter change today, in and out in less than 25 minutes, great service and very polite service personally, not one at desk but four at least . Buy a honda while youre here too, thats all we have purchased for the last 20 years!

My 2017 Honda Civic had to be towed to Andy Mohr because it wouldnt stay running. They were quick to find out that I had gotten bad gas at a local fuel center. They had me up and running like new the same day! I wish I could give the service center more than 5 stars!
