Great experiences with this location! I have used this service twice now, and have had no problems. Ryan was a great help in figuring out what unit was the best for me, and even showed me the various units so I could get a better understanding of what would fit my items.

Facility looks clean and well maintained.The drainage at this place is impressive, Birmingham had significant flash flooding last night and there was no water incursion in my storage unit.EDIT: It was a breeze closing out when i was done storing. Didnt even have to do anything, i suspect theyre keeping an eye on who is coming and going, and when. When i approached Rick to say i was bailing, i forgot to say my building letter but he already knew what it was. This suggests to me that a close eye is being kept on the place, which is exactly what you want in a storage facility.

Experienced great service and advice! Ryan went the extra mile in answering questions and providing us with everything we needed. Rick helped us when it was time to move our daughter’s stuff out for college. Close to Samford.Like that it was gated and that we could purchase a lock from them. Didn’t love that the price went up this summer right before we moved out. Felt like it should have stayed the same as what it was at the start of the contract, but still very pleased with facility and service.

This place is in a great location for us. The manager Rick really made sure all our questions were answered and was very thorough. They even have boxes and all sorts of moving supplies including mattress bags to keep our beds dust and dirt-free.

Extra Space Storage has been an excellent company to do business with. The gentleman name Ryan has really taken good care of me. From the time called in October until now when I lost my storage keys. I came by and Ryan took care of me ASAP!! I purchased a lot new lock & key and Ryan cut off the old lock on my unit. I truly appreciate the service and look forward to doing more business you all in the future. If youre in need of a storage, definitely stop by the Palisades location in Homewood. :) See Ryan and you wont regret it.

I had a pleasant experience at Extra Space. The staff was professional and helpful. I was provided with all the information I needed to give me the confidence that my vehicle would be safe. They even went the extra mile by assisting me on how to park my vehicle correctly in the storage space to avoid damages. I give them five stars. If it was possible I would give them six stars! I highly recommend them.

These guys are so so nice! They helped me understand what size unit I needed & held it for me until the date I was ready to rent! The process was as easy as I’d hoped! The facility is clean and feels safe. And it’s well lit at night! The office has a good variety of packing supplies at a fair price! Their location is perfect - especially if you’re in homewood. This particular location was fine.. I never had a problem with security or gate access, and my stuff (a lot of antique wooden furniture) stayed in decent shape even though it was an outdoor unit. Just read the fine print when renting a unit from Extra Space Storage, and be prepared for rent hikes if youre using it for the long term.

Ive seen lots of storage units over the years, these folks are the most professional and courteous of all Ive seen. The units and surrounding areas are always clean and tidy, as is the spotless office. The staff are very helpful and will do whatever it takes to make your experience there a positive one. Nobody likes having to pay for storage, however its always a pleasure dealing with Extra Space in Homewood!

I was relocating from Pennsylvania to Alabama and had awful time trying to locate a storage facilities that would lease a unit over the phone. After about ten or more contacts, I contacted Extra Space Storage who had a facility in Pennsylvania that allowed me to lease a unit in Alabama, using their remote access process. The process was quick, smooth and both offices have extremely friendly personnel that made my experience wonderful. The Alabama location allowed my mover to access the unit without no trouble. Extra Space was a lifesaver!!!
