Service was very friendly, professional, and timely. The only challenge I had (hence the 4/5 not 5/5) was with the repair order and estimates and the different documents reflecting diagnoses and recommendations. I take responsibility for not reading closely enough and adding up the totals, but the total estimate couldve been a lot more clear (and I would have deferred a few more services as a result).

Glenn and Eric are fantastic. Excellent communicators and highly skilled. They clearly love what they do and love all things Eurovan. It’s such a treat to work with them and get to know them. We’ve been so impressed by the service.

My pop-up tent on my Eurovan camper was in rough shape with mildew and tears and needed replacing. Glenn and his crew replaced it, the rubber gasket and the silicon seal for a reasonable price. Looks great, cant wait to try it out!

Recently purchased a 2003 VW Eurovan Weekender for outdoor adventuring. We originally contacted Glenn and the team at Eastside Autoworks regarding a pre-purchase inspection, and while we ended up not going through with it due to timing Glenn still helped us look over the vans information to get a sense of whether it was worth the purchase.Weve since taken the van in for an overhaul and couldnt be happier with the service. Everyone there is clearly a VW enthusiast, really knowledgeable about Eurovans and all repairs. Glenn gave us an overview of what needed to be done on the van alongside priorities, which helped us plan out repairs. Prices were good and the service fantastic, with the whole team coming out when we picked up our van to tell us about it. A great bunch of professionals. Our Eurovan has since been on road trips to California and coastal Oregon / Washington, without any issues whatsoever. Will happily take it back there for service!Update after ~ 9 months: our van is still running strong thanks to Eastsides help. Another CA road trip under its belt, surf excursions to the coast, and not a problem in sight. The team helped us address some lingering priority maintenance issues just before the holidays, which was really appreciated. Service is always with a smile (behind the masks), and the whole process is very safe thanks to all the covid precautions. Top notch place, would not take my Eurovan anywhere else!

I have both of my vehicles serviced here and they always do a great job. They are very knowledgeable, honest and will bend over backwards to make sure it is done right. I highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on their car, van or truck.

We have been taking our cars here for several years and can always count on them for prompt service and good advice. If the issue is something they feel could be better handled by someone else they let us know. They do not try to convince us to allow unnecessary repairs or maintenance. Prices are comparable to similar businesses in the area.

Glenn and his team at Eastside Autoworks did an incredible job.I brought my 2002 VW Eurovan here for what potentially would be a transmission rebuild, but they honestly looked at it and fixed the issue for much less than it would have been.They did a thorough review of the entire vehicle and made recommendations on things that needed to be fixed, and those that could be fixed but werent critical.I went through the list with them and he explained each point and let me decide if it need to be done.Once the work for started, they finished up a day early and texted me to let me know it was ready to go.When I arrived, they followed COVID protocols perfectly and even disinfected the interior of the van before they let me get in. To top it all off, they left me with a full tank of gas!

They absolutely knocked it out the the park. I had a last minute break down with my newer Audi A8, with a tricky diagnosis, and they got it first try and was able to get the car turned around and on the road for my tough schedule. Also, George is incredibly knowledgeable on everything about my car and helped me understand the future maintenance requirements. If I could give 6 stars I would.

It was a great experience again. George is so helpful and honest. I believe that he cares about my older tahoe and keeping it running smoothly as much as I do. A great place for service.

On October 20, My Yukon broke down on 405 North with horse / horse trailer in tow. I called AAA and they referred Eastside Autoworks to me. I called and said Id be towed to their shop and would have horse / trailer in tow. Glenn, the owner, was so kind, calling me back to let me know hed asked his business neighbors to move their vehicles to accommodate my trailer.It was determined that I needed a fuel pump and would take at least 3 hours and theyd repair while I wait. They allowed me to walk my horse around the complex while waiting for my car. They ended up working after hours a bit to complete the job and were so kind. They test drove my car and got me on the road as soon as they possibly could.Having never been to Eastside Autoworks before I left like part of the family and am so grateful they made time to repair my car on the spot.If I could rate them with ten stars I would.Thank you Glenn for making a VERY stressful experience so much easier to get through.Sincerely,Mary

Had a GREAT experience with Glenn and his team of professionals at Eastside Autoworks. My wife and I took in her high mileage Tucson for an alignment, brake work and oil change. Glenns team delivered, completing all of the maintenance on time which is very important to my wife and I as we rely heavily on our cars. More importantly, the work was completed at the rate quoted, which was very reasonable. In addition to the work completed, Glenn collected the Tucsons maintenance records available from other services found on the Internet, and helped us put together a plan for future preventative maintenance. Although the car is high mileage, it has been well cared for and we expect to keep it a few more years. I would not hesitate to recommend Eastside to anyone and will be returning there myself in the months ahead!

Obligatory Ive never Yelped until this.Stay away from Eastside Autoworks. They were disingenuous (and incompetent) from the beginning.Long-story short:-Truck was in their shop for TEN weeks for a repair that should have taken a fifth of the time (they didnt even attempt to work on it for weeks). Very inconvenient considering this was my daily driver.- I get the truck back finally, and it breaks down the very next day due to their negligence (they failed to hook wiring up correctly).- After that, the truck worked for roughly 2 months before it had starter issues. It then took them TWO weeks to replace the starter.- When I came back to the office to pick it up after the second trip, Glenn walked me out to the truck personally to show me how great of a job they did and start it up for me. Guess what - IT DIDNT START. His embarrassment was palpable. It turned out to be an issue with the battery cables. I cant help but feel that the $500 starter repair wasnt needed.All I wanted was an honest assessment of the vehicle so that I could make an informed decision in whether or not Id repair it. They strung me along and managed to get quite a bit of money out of me. Perhaps its my fault for putting up with it.

I got myself taken in for a raw deal on a vehicle. I knew it had some problems, but was not prepared for what I actually got. This team went above and beyond; they did not take advantage of my lack of mechanical knowledge, instead they explained every issue they found to me and provided evidence of it in an effort to reassure me. If I had questions they did not hesitate to clear my confusion.They helped me prioritize the issues and worked within my budget to get the most critical problems addressed so that I would be able to continue getting to and from work safely until I had more funds to do repairs. They helped me turn a really bad situation into a manageable one and I am really grateful for their effort.

I worked mainly with George, and he did a great job helping me make decisions that I was comfortable with, about keeping my car running good.

Excellent service and support. I brought my 16 year old VW Eurovan here for help with the side slider door (not closing or latching) and rear hatch (not latching) along with regular interval service. Local dealers had 30 day waiting times. Ended up with more repairs (new brakes, change out of old hoses/belts, flushing, etc) than I anticipated but now I have more confidence in my van. There was an extra benefit too. For several years the van was slow to accelerate and not very responsive from a full stop for the first few minutes after a cold start. That’s fixed now as a result of service.

If you have a Eurovan this is the only place to take it. Glenn and his crew know these things back and forth and the pride they take in their work is obvious. Had to get it road ready for a cross country trip and they left no stone unturned to make it smooth sailing. I am done with the dealership service department. I had my Toyota Corrolla serviced here for the four years I lived in the Seattle area and cant say enough positive things about Glenn and his team here. They are always professional and do great work. I would not go anywhere else in town and would recommend them to anybody!

Never even made it in for the service. Called a few days back to get a price on oil change and was told a number. Called back today to schedule a time to have the work done and was told a complete different price and was given the runaround by the owner. Not a good way to start a new customer relationship not to mention he was pretty rude and seemed to not really care about any kind of customer service.

Took very good care of me and replaced my clutch for about 20% less than all other Eastside mechanics. They were done in a day less than promised and gave me a one year warrantee on the labor and parts. Highly recommend!

If you have a Eurovan and are anywhere near the PNW, this is your place! (I live 4 hours away.) Great professionalism with knowledge of these vans (as well as other cars). I was thoroughly impressed, and if you are like me, you’ve probably seen a few other garages in your tenure as Eurovan owner, but this is the one you need to be in.

Working with owner, Glenn McMillan was a pleasure from start to finish.He emailed my estimate for new brakes in a timely manner and I was able to schedule the work for a couple of days later. His estimate was right on and the cost for parts and labor was the same as a quote from the Toyota dealership where I usually have my car serviced. My car was clean when I picked it up and Glenn assured me that my vehicle was set to go on the long road trip I had planned. One other great benefit of EAAR is that it is close to my home and I save time and stress not battling the the almost constant heavy traffic that is the new reality on the Eastside.I will return in the future for maintenance and repair needs.

I took my VW Eurovan to Glenn and his team to have some extensive work done on my coolant system. These folks know Eurovan! Just obtaining the parts for my Eurovan was a huge amount of work since some of the parts are no longer available. But they got all the parts and did the work just as promised. This is a great shop with a knowledgeable team, highly recommended. If you are a Eurovan owner, then look no further your van is in good hands here.
