Great place if you like working on your own vehicle. This is an independent shop that is family run. The gentleman who runs the shop (the main mechanic) has his hands full but he does a great job juggling everything. He is there to help if you need but he will be busy with other customer cars as well. The prices are fair for all the services offered. Definitely worth it to support a family run business.

Shop owner knows what they are doing, mostly retired vets work which is awesome. Great sense of humor when assisting repairs, and knowledgeable on other repairs that may need done when inspecting vehicle. Well spent $1500 on parts and assisted, full, or self service repair.

Sorry I didnt write anything. The service was excellent. I went in to get a quote on air conditioning replacement. The price was over $130 cheaper than my regular place. The timing of the service was good also. I have had no problems with the A/C after a month. Just real cold air. Thanks.

The service technicians are outstanding. They share their knowledge to help you understand what they are doing. Knowledge is power. They have honest billing. No surprise charges. The technician Frankie was very nice and courteous. I would recommend DIY for major services and oil changes. I had my transmission replaced in a couple of days. They even threw in an oil change. Highly recommend Frankie and the owner.

This shop is fantastic. I was able to complete repairs at a fraction of the cost of paying for full service. Adam and Frank are both so helpful when I’d run into a jam. Whether I’m doing the repairs myself or paying for a more complex full service job, I will be taking my vehicles to the DIY Garage exclusively.

We have brought in our dodge journey and chevy Silverado. We have been very pleased so far with the service. The one thing that keeps us going back to Adam at DIY Garage is his honesty. It is extremely rare to feel comfortable with a mechanic but Adam hasnt steered us in the wrong direction yet! He doesnt charge for things we dont need and is very upfront on costs and what all a job entails.My husbands Silverado was being a princess this past weekend and it ended up just being a loose wire/spark plug. He easily could have charged us more, like we have had with other shops in the past but he didnt. His integrity keeps us as a customer!

I’m so thankful for Adam who took my car right away and fixed the problem today. My car was towed to a different auto repair shop a couple days ago but they were so busy and wasn’t able to look at my car until late next week. First time using this place. It was AMAZING!The owner was great and helpful. Real down to earth. His son was in the shop that day and kept my son company.They had every tool that I needed. And they were meticulously organized and labeled making it very simple to navigate.I got to use a lift on a starter swap that Id normally spend on the ground on my back inches from the underside of the car.Tim even glanced over my shoulder and set me straight when I was going about something in an inefficient way.It took a several hour project in my home garage down to an hour and a half.AND they can take over when you give up or just do it for you from the beginning because its a full service shop.Switching this to my go to place. No question.

DIY was prompt and honest. They told me what the price would be before they began the work (full service). They only replaced what was needed and they informed me of things I may want to have looked at in the future. All of the staff that I talked to seemed very happy and friendly.

The idea seems a little weird but the guys who work here are a great help. Needed to use their press to push out a bearing. Once set up we were done quickly but got to watch the guys working and how they helped people fix their cars. I can trust them to always give a good suggestion and not try to swindle my money

Just got finished replacing tie rod ends, wheel bearing assembly and control arm assembly on my car. I would give 6 stars if I could for the quality of service, value, and great staff.The staff at DIY Garage were very helpful and knowledgeable. The cost for doing this work with assistance was easily less than half of what it would have cost if I had another auto repair shop do the work and I also got some pride in fixing my car as well.I will definitely be back to do some more work on my car.

One of the most unique businesses Ive ever been to. I installed some rock rails on my Jeep Grand Cherokee and just one visit is enough to convince me that this is the place Ill go if I ever need a lift (or just dont feel like crawling around on my back) to do my own work. The owner is a great guy and its good working with him when I needed help. I recommend this place to anyone interested in doing their own work!

I took my Jeep there last night to change some brakes and rotors out. These guys are amazing and were a great help. They were able to run out and get the parts I needed when we discovered another issue when working (this was after running out once before for me). They are very knowledgeable and have a great sense of humor to help with the frustrations.To the lady who left a one star review: I dont believe you understand what you are talking about. Aftermarket doesnt mean used. Im not mechanically inclined but even I know that. Aftermarket is a secondary market for the automotive industry. Its basically new parts, just not dealer parts. Just FYI lady.This place warrants all the great reviews they receive so dont mind the one bad review from someones wife who doesnt understand what theyre talking about. Ill be bringing my Jeep back here as well as my truck and look forward to these guys helping us out again.

Took one vehicle here for a pre-purchase inspection. He gave it a thorough examination and found nothing wrong with it. Gave us peace of mind when buying used. Also have taken my other car here and had some work done - he sent me a breakdown of what needed to be done along with the price for each one. Awesome system.I will certainly be a repeat customer.

Worth the drive! I called to get a quote on front brake pads and rotors. Their price beat every other place I checked by a long shot. (Some other specialty brake shops I called wouldnt even give me a quote without doing an inspection of all of my brakes.) I got in the same day I called. It honestly took me longer to drive there from West Omaha than it did for them to change my breaks. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and they didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need or ask for. They even did a quick test drive to make sure everything was good to go. Very friendly, family owned, great service. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a mechanic.

Having worked a base Auto Hobby Shop I was impressed with the facility. Adam has put a lot of time and effort to make this work. While replacing the front suspension on my grandsons Jeep Compass, Adam came by a couple of times to see how I was doing. Hes got all the tools needed, if not hell get it for you. Hey. I came here once after waiting 2 hours for Walmart to change my oil and i was on my way in 15 minutes. I even got a better price there for a synthetic oil change 45 vs 55. Ive taken both my cars there now and just from observation Ive seen people walking out of there saving a bunch of money on brakes. The guys who work there will help you install parts they are super knowledgeable and have any tool you need. You cant beat the price per hour for labor. Very awesome business to have nearby. Definitely check it out.

The garage owner helped me diagnose an issue with my truck. He even recommended another, specialty, shop for my specific issue. Reasonably priced, and seemed helpful with other customers performing DIY work in stalls.

Not only were these guys able to address issues that two other shops couldn’t, but they were able take care of the sloppy work done by the previous mechanics. I love these guys; they get to work on all three of my vehicles - ‘12 Toyota, ‘06 Mustang, ‘85 Jeep...trust them with yours, too!

Adam, the owner, is knowledgeable and straight-shooting. This is one of the few garage experiences in my life where I didnt get the feeling that the shop was looking for ways to take advantage of me.

Friendly staff very knowledgeable. Its a great place to work on my car when the weather is terrible and I dont have a flat surface to park my vehicle while I work on it. This place also has lifts. It make it easier to get under your vehicle to work on.

For what they charge there’s not that much tools there, for basic light mechanic work. Your best of buying a jack and a 235 piece mechanics tool set and doing it in your driveway....but instead of saying hey we will stop time while you get what you need.

Could not be more pleased with Adam and his staff! He quoted me for 2 hours worth of work and it ended up taking substantiallylonger because my truck is a rusted clunker. He did NOT upcharge me and even said some of the replacement pieces I bought could be returned because what was on there is still good. He saved me quite a bit of money. Honesty is hard to find these days, highly recommend them.

Had to get a new alternator put in my car. He offered to teach me or he would just do it. It was way cheeper then taking it to other garages around the area. He was fast. I called that morning For a quote and he had me bring it in and it was out the shop in about an hours time.

This is a great place to go if your looking to get ripped off, especially if your a woman. My sister-in-law’s Santa Fe had an issue with the AWD. Long story short the transmission and transfer case needed replaced due to a common metallurgy issue on this generation of Santa Fe. They wanted to charge her full labor on the transfer case and the transmission for replacement even the transfer case has to be removed in order to get the transmission out. It’s part of there service procedure, there is no way around it. When she explained this the owner, Adam Loftus, he told her that “he needs to make money too”. Apparently defrauding customers is part of his business strategy. He got caught in this scam but I wonder how many he has gotten away with?

What a joke! They have a tire machine but no one is allowed to use it. Just a scam to get you in the door and overcharge you. Tire place down the road charges less. I thought the point was to save money. SMH

Took my daughters car in for an emergency visit, after it started to act up. They diagnosed it within a short time, and was able to repair, and have her back on the road within a few hours the day we brought it in. The cost for the tune up, and oil change could not be beat, and the work was quality.

My husband insisted we use this place because he knew the owner and they were just starting out. Thats a mistake that wont be made again.These guys put a new heater core (now he isnt sure if it was new or aftermarket) in my car last year. AFTER they did it, they inform us they didnt have ALL of the equipment to complete the job. We had to take the car back several months later so they could complete the job.Just at a year later, similar issue. Took to another mechanic who shared one of the two thermostats should have also been done when the heater core was changed.Go somewhere that stands behind their work!

I have used the full service and rented a bay several times now . On one occasion Me and my son were able to go in and work on his truck . Great father son Bonding time !All the tools were provided in a nice organized tool chest of your own and a lift!! Well worth the money to no lie in the ground. (Adam) the owner helped us through when we were stuck and also provided his experience and knowledge. On one occasion me and my wife had a date night lol we rented a bay and changed her brakes together. (She wanted to learn so I said what the heck) it was fun and when we got stuck Adam rescued us. The full service side they are not only reasonable they dont upsell you on things you dont need. They are quick, They are very honest and good at what they do. I highly recommend.

This place shows potential.$30/hr to rent a slot in the garage with a lift.$80/hr work rate.A bit pricey ($400) To get plugs,wires, and a battery change. They had issues with my cars temperamental computer after the change, and even accidentally placed the wires in the wrong order via misfire...but they made valiant efforts to remedy the issues with little attitude. Bonus was I got dinner out of it.Great attitude, but it becomes clear these guys are still a bit green...but they will go far.

Man best place ever if you need to work on your car even if you need a little help they have air tools loan you plus the bay if you get stumped they can help you fix it or fix it for you

Whatever you do, specifically state the exact minute you are going to be there or they will stare at you dead eyed with lifts on the ground and bays without vehicles and tell you they are booked full, cost myself a days wages like a jackass trusting these clowns would let me have a bay without a vehicle in it.

Shop had ordered parts I didnt expect I would need and had them delivered within minutes for my Z28. Everyone was super helpful!

Overly priced at 40.00 dollars an hour for anything oil changes engine swaps body mods you name it 40.00 dollars an hour incan have a regular mechanic do the work.
