Great place for affordable repairs!

I am a NEMT Volunteer Driver and we transport people on State Assistance in Washington State for their medical appointments.I had a time sensitive auto problem. I approached them telling them the situation and in no time they diagnosed the problem and I was able to transport the people I brought over to their home in central washington.

The guys at Nielson Automotive made me feel comfortable in trusting them with my car repairs. As a woman its difficult to know if your in good trusting hands when you dont know too much about car repairs and with Nielson I knew I was not being taken advantage of.I will be back here for ALL my car repairs & diagnostics!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!I purchased a living social coupon for three oil changes. This coupon was not transferable and could only be used on the same car. I had every intention of using the 3 oil changes on the same car when I purchased it. Unfortunately prior to needing the 2nd oil change my son was in a car accident and the car was totaled. I have all documents showing this and that we no longer have the car. The owner of the shop was unwilling to let me use the remaining 2 oil changes for one of the cars that I still own. I dont see how it costs him any more or makes any difference what car I have the oil change done on. I am the same person coming to his business with a car I can prove I own. He had an opportunity to earn my business and future regular price oil changes on 4 cars. But since he is unwilling to honor the coupon I paid for and create a good customer service relationship I will no longer use his business and I would suggest others think twice before they do.

True professionals and honest. I took my car in for an oil change. Toyota Kirkland told me that I needed major work, and I needed my engine pulled because of an oil seal leak ($3000.) I was skeptical, as they had told me things that werent correct before. When I took my car in to Neilsons, I told them what the dealership said. He saw the leak, and he cleaned it to get a better look at it.It was the OIL SENSOR. Cost 58. and he ran over to get one, as he didnt have time to wait for delivery. Installed it for $63, and I was ready to go. I cannot say enough about this place. They have a customer in me. EXCELLENT, over the top, personal service. Honest. What more could you ask? THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We had are A/C fixed here. They were very fast, and it works great. They charged half as much as other places were going to charge just to diagnose the issue. Highly recommend.

Brought the car in for a couple of belts a new alternator they got it done very quickly show me the parts that had to be replaced all had a very fair price thank you

I was sent by my boss to get the company truck fixed up before lunch (it had a rear blinker that wasnt working). Other shops were asking over $100 just to diagnose it, and saying it wouldnt be ready until the next day. In desperation I searched nearby mechanics, and at random chose to call Nielson; Im glad I did. The mechanic agreed to check out my car immediately to see what was wrong, despite having a full afternoon. When I arrived, he quickly determined that it was a simple problem and changed the bulb. He then went on to change the front blinker and the backing light as well. When he finished I was braced for a hefty bill (since it was a rush job and we didnt discuss price before). To my shock, he asked for hardly more than the cost of the bulbs. He saved me a ton of hassle, and I was able to get lunch to my coworkers just in time! I intend to take my own car there whenever I can, and recommend them to anyone that will listen.

I went in to Nielson Auto Repair for an oil change. The service was quick and thorough. They took extra time to talk me through some additional work that my car needed to have done. Very helpful and honest.

I did my last full synthetic oil change in June at this place, and drove about 4000 miles. Today when I change oil at another store, I happen to see the oil come out was totally black. I changed oil for my car and my previous car several times before. I never see the oil colour could be that black, it’s not even dark brown. I recall that day, when I was waiting, I just curious what oil he put in, but the worker didn’t even allow me to watch him doing the job, but I respected that and we had a good conversation after he finished. I serious doubt if they changed the oil at all. I heard about these dirty secrets, but can’t believe people could ever do that. Bad, really bad.
