I had my truck stolen on 10/3 and ended up recovering it that day. The catalytic converter, battery and a few other things were taken from it. I had my truck dropped off here after hours, I slapped a battery in it and called the shop as soon as they opened and explained the situation. They were able to help me get my truck back on the road within 4 hours of them opening and at a very reasonable price. I’m really happy that I brought my truck here. I personally hate corporate chains, so it was important to me to seek out a local place and I encourage you to do the same.Thanks again guys!

They did my exhaust like how I asked. And then redid my exhaust system with no question asked the braddah even stayed after work 25 minutes after closing to finish up my Mazda b2200 with flowmaster and side exhaust in corner of driver side rear bed quarter panel. I did the hole. They fitted me with pipe so I can put my own exhaust tip🤙🤙🤙🤙👊👊👊😜😜 aloha and mahalo nui loa guys at exhaust specialties.u

For our midget we needed a very small muffler that would fit under the back of the midget and still look good and sound good. Bob did a great job finding the right muffler and making it look and sound great. Bob is a real artist!!!

Best work in town if you want the job done right

After our Catalytic converter was stolen, i learned that OEM converter was $3k, on back order with no ETA. Several people gave high praise to and suggested I contact Exhaust Specialties & Brake for an aftermarket converter, including dealership who gave me their phone number. I did and now I’m a fan too!They got me in same day, completed work in an hour, and converter, 2 sensors, and labor came to about 1/3 the price of the OEM part price.

Ive been trying for months to get my O2 sensor off, and Ive had multiple mechanic turn me away after trying for a few minutes with no success. Eventually it was stripped, so I took it here and they cut it off and welded a new one back on for a very reasonable price. Very satisfied with them.

If I could give these guys negative stars I would. Brought my car in due to a stolen catalytic converter in late December. They kept claiming they couldnt get parts to fix it. Told them to let me know when they could. I tried to be patient and trust them. My car sat on their lot for 5 MONTHS! Same old story...each time I called...they couldnt get the parts from the manufacturer. Finally came in and picked up my still unrepaired car, took it to the dealer, and they said the part would be here in a month. Yes, hard to get, but not as hard as these guys claim. Oh, yeah, because they dragged their feet so much in actually trying to get the part my battery ran down and needs to be replaced. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

When I was stationed in the area I took my 2002 Xterra, 2006 Xterra and 1980 Bronco to get exhaust done. Always exactly the exhaust tone I wanted and good price. Wish I lived closer are I need some more exhaust work done on my new vehicles.

Bob did a fine job on installing a Carven Exhaust TR Performance muffler, y-pipe and stainless pipe from the cat back on my 2020 GMC Sierra Denali. Very pleased with the results.

Good and fair work. They tack welding my exhaust tip on and unfortunately it fell off while driving. They made it right by welding a new one on when I came back. They welding a long bead on that time. Over all Im happy with their work.

Don’t waste your time with this place. Highly unprofessional and it seems like they don’t want to do any real “work” other than slap and weld a muffler in your car. Really hard to find a good place where people genuinely want to help and do a good job. This place isn’t it. Took my vehicle to Master Muffler and they were amazing. A bit far from me but well worth the drive.

We were on a long road trip and the exhaust pipe got lose. We asked them for a temporary solution that could last us until we get home. They fixed it in 10 minutes no charge. Very friendly people.

Ive had multiple experiences with this place, my first car they welded an exhaust onto the welds cracked in less than a month, and the second was them not ordering parts for my appointment resulting in wasted time.

This is a business which takes customer service seriously. Had to have tailpipe replaced during the holidays. There was a mix up on the appointment for repairs but Don got us in on Mon 12/30/2019 and did an excellent job replacing our tailpipe. He was polite, professional and responsive to our need to have repairs done that day and no later since we were just visiting relatives in Beaverton and don’t live there.If you have any exhaust or brake repairs which need to be done, I suggest you give these guys a call. My 2002 Buick Century sounded like a 1958 lawn mower, the exhaust pipe was broken in half. I threw some copper wire, spit and prayers on it until I could I could take it to this prestigious establishment. Bob, the saint I had my experience with, is probably an Angel because he told me $175 and the final price was...... drumroll... $125. Oh and the quality of work is just stellar.

I stopped by here once to get some work done on a 2006 Jeep Commander. I wasnt sold on their prices or by the explanation given by the employee. I wound up doing the work myself.However, I had a 1974 Firebird that needed work and I couldnt do it myself. I have personally seen the work done by other muffler shops nearby and wasnt going to go them. So, I called these guys up again. The prices were high and the conversation wasnt very long or convincing, but I gave them a chance. They put dual exhaust on with 2 mufflers, crossover pipe, and polished tips on my Pontiac. The welds are amazing. The routing of the pipes is spot on and they used mandrel bends. They rewarded my trust with the best exhaust system Ive ever had. The only place close around here is Todds in McMinnville. After seeing the quality of the welds and pipe routing, the price was a bargain.

I have taken two of my vehicles to this shop and have left very satisfied each time. The first time was with a 99 Suburban that I had just purchased. The previous owner had gone to a less knowledgeable shop that installed a loud baffle type muffler that should never be installed under a passenger compartment. Exhaust Specialties replaced it with an equally low restriction, but much quieter muffler. Huge difference. Recently I went to them to install a custom exhaust on a BMW E30 Pro3 race car Im building. The finished product was excellent. All welds were done well, the piping was tucked up nice and tight to the undercarriage, and even though I didnt ask for it, they used a dual outlet muffler that matches the stock look for these cars. All at a very reasonable price. I recommend them highly!

I was referred to Bob at Exhaust Specialties by another local mechanic. He stated Bob was good, honest, quick and affordable. I couldnt agree more! I took my sons 240SX there - Bob being my 3rd mechanic in this venture thus far - and he was quick, no frills, and very pleasant to deal with.I was told by another shop it would cost over $900 to do what Bob did for under $300!He and the other mechanic were very considerate, kind and helpful.Not being from this state, I dont have the benefit of knowing locals who would know a good mechanic. My experience with Exhaust Specialties was top-notch - I wasnt looking for a fancy shop with over-the-top creature comforts - I was looking for a seasoned mechanic that knows his trade.Highly recommended!

I got quoted $1800 at my tire shop to fix my Heat Shield connected to my exhaust. I asked my regular car guy about it and he said he could do it for $200, maybe less but he was so busy, every time Id call I couldnt get into his shop. The loud rattling noise was driving me nuts! I called around to several places and nearly everywhere wanted to charge $100+ just to get a quote/diagnose it. I got a tip to go to an exhaust specialist and after I arrived, the two gentlemen pulled my car in, lifted it, identified the issue and started working on it immediately. My buddy who came to pick me up said they were probably just checking it out but I was a little confused because sparks were flying. After about 15-20 minutes, they pulled my car out and told me it was done and theyd charge me half of what my regular guy did, $100. I couldnt believe it. They tossed me my keys and after a few seconds said Merry Christmas Kid, you dont owe us anything. NEVER have I ever been treated like this by anyone who has worked on my car. I cant thank you two enough and really appreciate it. I hope to pay you back someday soon!THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!I hope you both had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!Cheers,Brian

When a do it yourself cat replacement got over my head these guys saved my butt. They were recommended by another shop in the area that couldnt use a part I had already bought. They did the job fast and at an extremely reasonable price. I would go to them any time.

If I could give them no stars I would... Went in there to have a simple muffler installed on my 2003 Subaru Forester and whoever the guy was damaged the muffler I brought in and yelled at me when I disagreed with his reasons why he couldnt install it because I knew what I was talking about. Went down the street to Eds Muffler and Brakes they had it installed with no problems and sounds great! And at a cheaper price was taken care of by very great guys there. These guys dont like doing the work if it involves a lot like bending pipes and such but on top of all, he full on yelled at me which is unacceptable. Waste of time and he was trying to up sell me by telling me my catalytic converters were mufflers which they would have to replace also saying I wouldnt gain any noise with the muffler I brought in, but in fact it did gain great noise! Id highly recommend Eds Muffler and Brakes for any muffler or vehicle work on general screw these guys.

I was driving by and all of a sudden I had an exhaust leak out of nowhere. I pulled into the shop to get a quote and they fixed it for free.Amazing. In and out in 5 minutes. They didnt ask for anything from me. Ill be a customer for life.

Fantastic shop that I recommend with the highest possible rating! My mechanic told me to contact Bob and his crew to get my old trucks catalytic converters changed. Reasonably priced, and got me in and out within a few hours. Excellent workmanship with no BS. After a week of driving - zero issues passing DEQ. If you have issues, definitely go here and get taken care of!!

Bob worked on my Porsche 911 for a custom job on my mufflers that replicates Porsche Sport Exhaust. He did a great job, very clean welds, even took a picture of my muffler for me before he reinstalled it. Very happy with it - my car sounds great, and no issues whatsoever 18 months later!

I took my Jeep Cherokee here to have an aftermarket catback system installed that I purchased online. Not only did these guys finish it in under and hour but they only charged me $120 which I think was a more than fair price all things considered. High quality, honest, no surprises: what else could you ask for? This shop has performed work for me on two vehicles, and in both cases we are more than satisfied with the results and cost. On the first occasion we had a leaking exhaust on an old Volvo repaired. I expected to have the entire system replaced, but Bob Shean was able to repair what we had for a fraction of the cost of a new system. On the second occasion, we had Bob replace the shocks and exhaust system (this one was really worn out) on a Toyota pickup truck. The work was completed on time, and for less cost than expected.I think this shop is completely trustworthy, and will go back to them whenever I have the opportunity.

I finally took my car in because of the embarrassing sound it was producing. I put off the repair because I was worried about a high bill. The price I was quoted was reasonable and the repair did not take long. My old car is so quiet now. Way quieter than I expected.

I highly recommend finding any other shop to perform work on your car. I dropped off a section of exhaust to be reworked on a Thursday and was told by Bob it would be finished Friday afternoon. On Friday afternoon it was not finished, I was told it would be finished Saturday afternoon, it was not finished. I was told it could be finished by the end of the day Saturday and it was not finished. Being out of town on business the following week I arranged to pick it up in one week on Saturday morning, STILL NOT FINISHED!Short version: Highly unprofessional, could not perform 1.5hrs of work in 1.5 weeks. Please save yourself the aggravation and use any other exhaust shop.

I was recommended by a friend at work to go there and I got my Flowmaster 40 series put on my 4Runner in very fast and quality work. Very very pleased!!!

Called up asked if they could do a exhaust pressure check........ The guy on phone said sure bring it by....... Took it by the shop some old guy comes out super rude no hello, hi or anything and said no he was to busy. I drove 1 1/2 to be told no are you kidding me? He said bring it back next week. I was shocked since it is a simple 5 min test of unhooking the 02 sensor. I went down street to eds mufflers and it was blocked and paid 750.00 for new exhaust. This old lazy guy is a waste of time. He needs to retire LOL...............

Highly recommend them. They sure know what they are doing, Fixed and solved a control arm sleeve problem in 10 minutes.

Just got back from this place and couldnt be happier. They arent all touchy feely with the customer service but the quality of the work is very high.

I called them on Friday needing my brakes done on Satuday, as I started a new job on Monday. Bob was very understanding and said hed be happy to help. Their quoted price was oceans less than other places Id called in the area.After dropping off my car, I had a call within 3 hours telling me that they found the rotors needed replaced, with the exact cost, and my bottom line. Even with adding in the rotors, their total price was almost half that of another service department.I am impressed with their quality, and their business practices. The open communication, and calline me the minute that they saw we were going to go over the quoted price is very reassuring.They will get all my business going forward.
