HM Motorsports has worked on my cars for three years now. In the past month they refinished two badly scratched wheels to like-new condition for a very reasonable price, and then quickly fixed a custom wheel fitment issue (on another car) that other shops couldnt handle. Ben and Mindy are super knowledgeable and provide amazing customer service.

I have been coming to HM Motosports for a few years now. I had my APR stage 1 ECU tune done a while back and just recently my DSG transmission tune. Now it drives like a totally different car, super smooth shifting, absolutely no turbo lag at all, and no premature shifting making your RPMs drop way to low. PLUS!!! The launch control feature is easy to use and works AWESOME!!!!!!! If you have a DSG I totally recommend having it done. I went in with a flat tire and they found a staple in the side wall. The tire was unrepairable. Unfortunately because I have AWD, I had to replace all four tires. Mindy broke the news to me in a very kind way and made it feel less shocking. She said she would get the tires order and gave me a loaner for the day. My car was done before 5 the same day. The best part I didnt have to wait around for it, I went back to work. Thanks Mindy!!! Youre amazing!!!

I had just purchased a brand new car and was working on cleaning out their garage so the car was parked in the driveway. As I carried out cans of spray paint, a can slipped out of my hand, hitting the driveway and puncturing a hole in the side of the can. The paint immediately began spraying, covering the ENTIRE front of my new car before rolling under the car straying the wheels and the trim along both sides of the car. I called the dealer who referred me to an auto body who referred me to HM Motorsports.I called and spoke to Ben who had me bring the car right over. The initial shock had worn off and I was in tears by the time I arrived. Everyone is the shop was soooo kind and assured me they could remove the paint without damaging the car. Given the extensive amount of spray paint that was on the car, I wasnt sure that would be possible. I left the car with them at 4pm on Tuesday - at 10am on Wednesday I returned to pick it up and couldnt believe my eyes. The spray paint was gone - completely GONE! I have a very detailed grill on the front of my car which I was prepared to replace but they were able removed every trace of the paint. HM Motorsport will be the only detail/autobody shop that will every touch my car. They are AMAZING

These guys were fantastic with my car! Helped me out with a whole lot of patience and willingness to work with my budget and scheduling. Id like to especially highlight Matthew Palmer and Matthew Moyer for being the two who worked with me most. Both Matthews helped me with some necessities with my car, and took less than three hours total to get my car up and running. They replaced my tires, did alignments, did an oil change, and all that fun-stuff without me having to wait too long. I worked with Mindy McCombs at HM Motorsports getting work done to my car. Mindy was fantastic! She was easy to work with, kind, pleasant and she is a VW fanatic to boot! I am thinking about getting my windows tinted down the road. Mindy went through my options and the process with me too. I will definitely be calling Mindy for that in the future. A few months ago I hired HM Motorsports to clean and detail my 13 Ford F150 in preparation for marketing it for sale. The truck was in good shape but I had used it pretty hard and it had seen its share of rough roads, dust, mud and brush. The truck was also experiencing some water intrusion in the cabin from an unknown source and had several areas of mold growth. Darrin and I discussed the problem at length beforehand and I was super impressed by his comprehensive and caring approach. It felt great to have someone on my team with so much knowledge and a willingness to seriously engage in solving a complex problem. I barely recognized my truck when I came to pick it up..it was stunning, inside and out! Darrin and his crew did an incredible job of detailing the truck, while also going above and beyond to locate the source of water intrusion. Since, even after significant diagnostics, they were not able to pin down a specific water entry point, Darrin didnt charge me for the work. Wow! That showed some integrity. I was really impressed by these guys, and I will definitely take my vehicles to HM Motorsports in the future. Thanks so much!

Honestly, I only went here because my office is on the same street and it was convenient. However, the service that I received was truly top notch. Extremely friendly and professional. I am now going to be a permanent customer without a doubt. Also, the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend.

Ended up here by accident because they are next to our dealer and gave me some great options and advice over the phone. We were in a bit of a hurry, but they took care of us quicky and I had winter tires on my car, with the all-seasons bagged nicely in the back with time to spare. Really nice experience all around.

Took my wifes 2012 jeep patriot in for a diagnostic test and found out the throttle body was dead got a new one replaced in a jiffy and the jeeps running great. Unexpectedly great experience. I do most of the maintenance and repair on my Audi S4, but I couldnt separate a CV joint from my axle. I called around a bunch of shops, and after reaching out to 4-5 shops, the only one I found willing to do it was HM. I brought the assembly in, along with the replacement boot, grease, and clamps, and they had it back to me same day. They originally had it scheduled for the following day. It came back completely cleaned for the agreed price. Overdelivered, a rarity in my experiences with most shops. A few days later I brought the car in for an alignment. My car is low, and I worked with the technician to get the car set up to specs that we agreed on after he gave me his thoughts. Dialed. They even threw my undertray back on the car for no charge. I noticed a truck in there for paintless dent removal while I was leaving, and luckily their guy was in the shop and took a look at a couple dings on my car. Ill be bringing it back for this, and any other work I cant complete myself. They killed it!

Ive had my 2012 Volkswagen Jetta TDI Sportwagon there a few times for various services (oil changes and trans service). Their prices are great and everyone that works there was amazing. I dealt with Mindy for scheduling, drop off, and pickup. She was very pleasant and kept fantastic communication. They fit me in last minute and put my mind at ease as i was headed to California the very next day.They will be doing all of my future services!

Not the most glamorous-looking shop in town, but arguably the best. Went in with a question about a headlight conversion for my Volvo C30, got some good answers and a good solution. Jim, in the parts room, did some deep research on an HID system that I originally had and found a good LED replacement. Mindy at the front desk (and who makes up for most of the shops lack of general glamour) had a lot of knowledge and experience and was willing to share it without making me feel like an idiot. These folks work very hard for customer satisfaction and seem to love what they do.

Actually kinda work here. IT is a part of Herzog-Meier franchises. Good people that tend to care about their employees before making the most dollar... I actually get my Honda worked on here and havent ever been let down with the quality of work. Saying that she is a 1989 Honda LXI almost 28 years old its hard to find a good place for her to get worked on.

No complaints! Staff are friendly and courteous. Prices are reasonable. They have always been able to address my concerns and I don’t feel like I’m being ripped off. I take my VW here for routine maintenance. Comfortable waiting room with coffee and snacks. Clean restroom also.

David and the team at HM were great. Highly recommend. Compensated me for my rental and dropped my car off to dealership for a recall. They then completed an upgraded ECU tune and completed intake install. Completed as promised and have zero issues.

Ive been taking my Volvos here for 20 years and receive outstanding support. They care about their customers and have a lovely lounge with coffee, cookies and fresh fruit if you are waiting for your repair.

Update: The manager called me back and apologized for the experience. Since has refunded me the price difference, and even offered to refund the entire alignment (I didnt accept as that doesnt seem fair to me).Thanks HM Motorsports for coming back and making the situation right.TL;DR - A volume shop thats capable of mistakes, but knows how to make them right.I wanted to get an alignment on 2015 GTI because I had some increased tire wear. This was to be expected, as was running a race alignment on my street car. Ive always taken my cars to race shops in the past for alignments, and have always found that spending the extra few dollars is worth it. The techs will generally converse with you, go into detail about the pros and cons of some fine tuning options and work to get the car dialed.This shop was very different. I called ahead to make an appointment, as the reviews seemed overall positive. When I spoke on the phone, I mentioned that I wanted one spec different from stock -- the rear camber set at -2.0 (I believe the stock spec is -0.7). Any easy change, and no additional work over a basic 4-wheel alignment. The man on the phone mentioned since this wasnt any extra work, he would only charge the cost of a basic alignment, so I went ahead with setting up the appointment.Upon arrival to the shop at 7:05am, (5 minutes late for my 7:00am appointment), I was greeted by ... no one. In fact, 10 minutes later when an employee did pass through the garage, he made no attempt to talk to me even though it was obvious I was looking around. I asked him if anyone is coming to the front and he said yeah, probably soon. and walked off. Finally at about 7:20am, someone came to man the front desk. I mentioned again that I wanted the camber set a -2.0 in the rear. He now told me to do this it would be performance alignment, and $40 more. I was super tired that morning and didnt have the energy to argue. Reluctantly, I agreed.About 45 minutes later, a tech came out to tell me we cant set the camber to 0 degrees, it beyond the limit and it wont drive well. I was shocked -- the one thing I had specified, and they had gotten it completely wrong. I told the tech I wanted -2 degrees, and about 20 minutes later my alignment was complete.While the work done was overall good, the customer service was garbage. If you want a race shop that is open and honest and has your best interests, look else where. HM Motorsports doesnt respect their customers, and doesnt make an effort to be personal at all.

Great place to go if you want a bad attitude and have the techs beat up your rims and chip the paint off. Also they dont know to align the yellow dots on the tires with the valve stems. They shouldnt be in business.

I am very happy with my new used car. They are very honest and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your purchase and experience.

I stopped by to put some new tires on my truck, and I was impressed with the availability to get me in the day I called and the time it took to change the tires...but after getting home I noticed this nasty vertical gash in the sidewall that happened during installation...not too happy to see that especially since theyre brand new tires and its on the weakest part of the tire. Also a lot of yelling and seemingly joking around when I was there...even for auto shop standards.

So happy with the service, the service writer Mindy was so helpful and honest it made us feel happy to let them work on our gti.

First of all, let me start by saying how scary it is trying to find someone you can trust to touch your car, especially when youre dealing with a tuned car.I brought my car in to get an AWE tuning track cat back and turbo muffler delete installed onto my APR stage 2 Mk7 GTI after my local dealer was booked out too far.I made the two and a half hour drive up from Washington to Beaverton, Oregon and I was immediately impressed by the customer care I received from start to finish. The job itself took just about three and a half hours, but I was given a rental car to explore the area while I waited. This to me was way above and beyond anything Ive ever experienced.My car sounds amazing with the new set up. I will for sure come back here again and I highly recommend the place to anyone uneasy with modding their cars and need a helping hand. The pricing wasnt bad by any means and I felt like my car mattered and was well looked after.Thanks guys!

Hm motorsports is a great combo of dealership knowledge and tools with indi shop prices. Best tire prices in town too and will mount and balance unusual wheels other people in town wont.

I had some full tread tires that I had bought used and needed them installed. Many of the nicer shops refuse to mount tires they didnt sell. Some of the cheaper shops will mount anything, but after previous bad experiences with my alloy rims getting damaged by less than careful shops, I didnt want to take a chance. I selected H-M based on the equipment that they used (best machines you can buy) and the fact that they sell $1000 rims. The results were perfect. Tires were installed without issue and there was not a single spot of damage on my rims.I fully recommend them if you have nice rims and are worried about damage.

If you go to San Fransisco, youll normally seek out the backstreet hole-in-the-wall eateries or strange foodcarts looking for that authentic experience, avoiding such places as Whole Foods, McDonalds, Walmart, ect. You want the real deal, and its not easy to find.H&M Motorsports is the real deal. After my 2013 GTI passed that 30,000 mile marker, I started looking around for non-dealer resources for procedures I had not the tools nor the time to complete (anything more than changing my oil and airing my tires—I live in an apartment on a hill, I cant get much done there). Id like to say I built a relationship at this little shop over time, and through many purchases and much time spent there, theyve earned my trust and respect, but thats not really true.I had a string of bad luck with some gnarly roads and my 35,000mi+tires werent having any of it. After shopping around to find some budget all-weather boring tires mounted and balanced for about $490, I stopped by H&M and asked around. Matt pricematched the competing offer with better tires on the spot, and had them installed in less than 2 hours. After the tires were on and a day later, I noticed my center cap had fallen out or been forgotten, so H&M comped my a new one from the dealer as soon as they could order one. No fuss, just making it right.When I failed to torque the drain-pan plug and I called H&M in a panic, thinking Id lose all my oil and have to undo all the work I did myself (trying to save some money)—not so. Again, Matt offered to slot me in to have it checked the next day. When I arrived the following day, the shop was dark and almost closed (my own poor timing), and the front desk clerk was dressed to leave—but he still dropped everything to pull my leaking hatchback into the garage where the one remaining technician was able to tighten the plug to spec in less than 15 minutes... and all at no charge. When I asked what I owed, the rep who was about to leave said You could leave us a review, thats always helpful! and shook my hand.Im no stranger to the service industry and retail/customer-involved trade, so I know its rare to discover a shop that can flex and make exceptions for customer with no purchasing history. H&M have hooked me up and saved my amateur ass more than once, so thanks guys. Keep it up, and Im coming back when I can afford to splurge a little on some fun go-fast parts.

Did great work on my stereo

Bought a set of Montegi wheels for my car and couldnt be happier with the wheels and appearance.I asked if the total cost for the Montegi wheels and mounting/balancing my summer tires included new TPMS. I was told it included TPMS. Upon picking up my car the OEM wheels and winter tires did not have the bead seated, were not inflated, and did not have TPMS. HM took the TPMS from my old wheels and mounted on the Montegi. I purchased a new set of TPMS sensors and HM installed them in my OEM wheels and winter tires.Upon cleaning my OEM wheels I noticed the paint around the center cap (looks like someone used a screw driver to remove the cap), around the lugs, and several other places was nicked and damaged. HM stepped up and refinished my OEM wheels. They look wonderful.
