This was my first time going to MotoCar Doctors and I was extremely happy with their services. To make a long story short, I was facing an expensive fix due to parts and labor time. The staff there gave me a lot of information including advice on potentially locating the part I specifically needed without having to replace the whole unit. I ended up saving a lot of money, and they fixed the car quickly and well. I would definitely recommend this shop because of the level of transparency and skill. Chris, Steven, and another staff member that I spoke to, were all professional and helpful. Great service.

MotorCar Doctors spent the time to diagnosis the problems, and said the battery needed to be replaced and the battery may be the issue causing the electrical problems. Even though I didnt buy the battery from them, I really appreciated their time and effort; Ill definitely continue to have MotorCar Doctors repair our 4 vehicles. Have used them for years.

This has been my go to place for auto repairs for several years. I have always received excellent service and honest advice. I particularly appreciate the reasonable prices and I have never been encouraged to have additional work performed the way the dealership would ask of me. In fact when I have asked about repairs that I thought might be necessary, I have been told that it was not yet necessary but that they would let me know when it should be performed.

First time they recommend me to change my gas cap, wasnt the problem and they charged me a 2nd diagnostic to tell me the problem again. Payed 300 for them to finally tell me the problem when they said they wouldnt charge me for the 2nd one.

This place is AWESOME! Eli was really outgoing and knowledgeable. I loved the fact that when the mechanic completed the inspection of my car, I got a detailed text message listing what passed/failed and recommended maintenance. Will be going back for more work in the future!

MotorCar Doctors in Beaverton was the third auto repair that I took my car to in an attempt to diagnose the problem I’ve been having. The employees were very pleasant, the waiting room is comfortable and clean, and although they didn’t do any repairs I felt they were honest when they said the issue was not what the last mechanic thought it might be and referred me to a specialist. Obviously with any car problem one is at the mercy of the mechanic, and especially when it is intermittent and extremely difficult to diagnose a dishonest auto repair can claim all sorts of work is necessary. Also I really appreciated their patience and understanding when I came to pick up my car and couldn’t drive her; that’s the intermittent part. They allowed me to leave her parked in one of their parking spots Until I could have her towed the next day. I would bring my car to them again. 8/2021

Took my Jeep Wrangler in after another mechanic told me I needed a new rear drive shaft, motor doctors checked it out and said I didn’t need one! Saved me from spending a lot of money. So now I trust them for all of my future needs!

First Time I was disappointed after years of good service. I paid for a their Red Service and made it very clear that was what I wanted. The service includes tire rotation which should be done 3000 to 5000 miles from what I see online. They did not do the tire rotation even though it was about 7000 miles and gave me some sort of gobbledygook about it wasn’t necessary. I worry about other service that was deemed unnecessary by them.

Once again MotorCar Doctors Auto Repair of Beaverton has delivered excellent service to me. Thats the reason my sons and I continue to us them, we know they will always come through at reasonable rate too!

My clutch went out on me while driving and I had my car towed to a shop that didnt do clutch repairs. They recommended I call MotorCar Doctors in Beaverton as they were just around the corner and would do a great job. Eli arranged for his guys to go pick my car up for me so I didnt have to get a ride over there to move it a block or call another tow truck. He was extremely knowledgeable and did a full inspection on my vehicle. Unfortunately, my car didnt have an OEM part that was necessary to prevent the clutch from wearing again so he recommended a kit that I could purchase and have shipped to him. He gave me the weekend to make some decisions while keeping my car safely stored inside. Eli followed up with me on Monday morning and I had the part overnighted to him. He gave me an ETA on the repairs and my car was ready much sooner than I expected! His customer service was above and beyond what I had expected and I was extremely impressed with the treatment I received, as oftentimes females are treated as if they know nothing about cars when speaking with mechanics. To top it off, my new clutch has a lifetime warranty as long as I take it in every 6 months for an inspection. Great service and quality repairs, I highly recommend visiting Eli and his crew!

I was at Carr Subaru for a charging system inspection. The person who escorted me to his station was rude and put off acting, so I canceled and left (not in a huff, just made an excuse). I saw Motor Doctors did inspections and they were close so I brought my car to them. What a difference!!! I was met by a very friendly super nice guy name Eli who is very professional and interested in others. They inspected my charging system for free (Carr wanted to charge $150). They found nothing wrong, showing the load results to me etc, and made a few unrelated recommendations which I happily had them perform. They arranged Uber for me and paid for it. Their customer service is amazing and they did a really great job on my car. Needless to say, I will be taking my car to them for any work that they are able to do.Goodbye Carr Subaru, thanks for overbooking and hiring grumpy hateful people to help your customers. lol.So happy to have found MotorCar Doctors in Beaverton!

This was once a good place to take your vehicle for repairs. They have changed Either ownership or management in the past year and half or so. And now my experience has been far different. I brought my vehicle up because I had a oil leak I was told that it was detected. And charged $800 plus For the leak. Took my car home the same night same oil leak was there. Brought it back to them and was told that it was leaking from another spot charged another 800 plus. So after paying roughly about $1700 I noticed my vehicle was still leaking oil. And I was told that it was the rear main seal which was gonna be easily another couple $1000. Lost my business.

I was disappointed! I was told the diagnosis was free for the first 15 minutes and after that ah hour for $140. I received a call that they needed more time to diagnose the problem. I was told they were going to open up the dashboard to perform testing even in the AC controller. I was told to pay $140 for diagnosis since it was more than 15 minutes. I had also asked them to fix the leak on the driver’s side. When the car was completed I came to pick up but I found that the door seals weren’t in place correctly. I requested to fix it but the guy who came to fix it had a bad attitude and he wouldn’t talk to me while fixing the door seal with the car key. Then he left not even telling me it’s all good. It was bad attitude.I picked up my car late in the dark I couldn’t see what had happened to my AC vent switch. It was stuck down couldn’t open the vent and my clock control button was dead. I called their shop and I was told to bring it back. I brought my car back snd the car looked at the records and said the only thing they did in my car was change the AC fuse which down there not related to the dashboard situation. Then when I heard that I asked them to return the testing fee $140 I was charged because I was told that the reason it was going to be $140 it’s because they had to open up my dashboard. That’s where I caught them lying. They either lied about the dashboard opening or they messed up my dashboard which killed my cloak snd the vent switch but they didn’t wanna take responsibility for that.I took my car back still the cloak button not working and frustrated that they lied about the work they did on my car. With all this, the attitude the mechanic had the unprofessional handling of my car I find this place unreliable and not honest. You should think twice before you take you car there. There are other better places that handle the customer needs professionally and with great integrity.

These gentleman there are exactly that gentleman. Myself being a female they never were condescending to me, they were honest and explained to me exactly what they were going to do. When the service was all done they explained to me exactly what they had to do which I kind of had an idea when I brought the car in to begin with. I trust these guys explicitly. I will not bring my car to anybody else.

My car failed the DEQ test and they were able to fit me in that day, replace parts and still have me out early enough in the day to be able to drive the miles I needed to reset the sensors and still pass DEQ before the close of business. Really appreciate their great work and timely help.

Eli was phenomenal. I had to return to the shop multiple times for various warranty related repairs and Eli was very professional and explanatory during my visits. He clearly and throughly explained what was going on with my car at every stage of the process.

Great Experience. Took my car here for new front and rear brakes. I told them I had just changed the brake oil, and they were happy to omit that from the service. Work was done quickly. After a few weeks, I noticed my brakes squeaking. I brought the car in, and although they couldnt replicate the squeaking, they removed everything, added lubricant, put everything back together, and returned the car to me. Appreciated them going the extra mile when they couldnt hear the squeaking. Would definitely recommend.

I have had clutches and brakes replaced. I have had an A/C compressor replaced. I have had cooling problems looked after. All work was excellent.My latest visit was with an older vehicle requiring specialty knowledge beyond their ability. To their credit, they respectfully declined doing the work with no charge for their time spent. Further, they gave me all the info i needed to get service elsewhere including OEM part numbers and a referral.Great job 👍

Long overdue review. Went in for a tuneup and wasn’t sure if the timing belt needed replacing. I fully expected to pay for both. On top of the already professional and friendly service they earned my business even more with honesty. After taking everything apart they said the timing belt had been replaced previously..Great shop, excellent people with integrity! I’ve recommended this shop to a few friends who also had positive experiences.

Had a great experience here. Shopped around for a good deal to repair my brakes and rotors. Other places nearby were 2x as expensive and we were not willing to resurface my rotors. Cris, the manager, was very helpful in scheduling me day of and making it clear of what would be done. Highly recommend!

Called in the morning and was told if I got it there by 11 I could get my car back the same day. Didnt make it until 12:30 so I figured Id be without a car for the weekend and half of Monday. 3 hours later I got a call that it was done. Zipped out in rush hour traffic and grabbed my car the same day. Very impressed how quick and easy everything was. Cris at the front desk was very professional and quick with everything. Highly recommend this place if you need a new clutch! Oh, Saved $500 by going here instead of my local mechanic:)

These guys are awesome! They are one of the best at diagnosing problems and they dont overcharge you for anything. You can get your oil changed for less than $30 bucks with their Red Card. I will never go any where else. Ask for Jeff, he replay knows what hes doing.

I had to say goodbye to my previous repair shop because the quality of their service had gone downhill, and decided to try clutch doctors based on reviews and location. I am really happy that i did. I was able to make an appointment for a free diagnostic online (super convenient!) and they were very punctual about calling me with the results. They told me everything that needed some love, but also told me what it would take just to keep my car running and what could be pushed back. The pricing was very fair, I was able to get the necessary work done and a little extra and kept it under my max amount I was willing to spend. They said they would be able to fix my car the same day, and they actually did, and they called me just as soon as it was done... this has been a huge problem with several repair shops that I have used in the past 8 years or so. Its pretty frustrating when youre on the bus or taking cabs to get to work while your car is in the shop for days only to find out the work has been done and nobody bothered to call you, or they get annoyed with you for calling to check up on the work and you wonder how much care they are putting into your vehicle. Not a problem at all at Clutch Doctors. And the best part is my car is running really well, I feel like I can trust their work. Pretty nice waiting room to boot.

They were able to identify a couple of items, one of which was a transmission leak that they ended up being unable to fix.
