Well, my wife came to have a tire checked for a slow leak. Thats all. But as they take advantage of people who dont know any better, they wanted to check under the hood and check battery and so on. There for one reason, a slow leaking tire. Thats not so hard. My wife had said no, no need to. 2.5 hrs. Later. Then they charged her for what she said no to. No more to NTB. Good luck gentleman. I hope you have future. Oh, dont even say, well tell us what we can do for you at a certain website.

Came in to get one tire put on and the guys doing it walked around smoked cigarettes and walked around some more ! Literally took us 2 hours to get one tire out in, service here is ridiculously slow, makes the rest of the NTB establishments look bad
IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR FAMILYS SAFETY, DO NOT GO HERE.I went to NTB initially because of a sale on tires. Since I got the tires there, I went back for tire service and generally did not have significant issues. Recently, I went for an alignment and balance because I was experiencing shaking when driving and under braking. I asked if they could check the brakes as well. After multiple hours of waiting, I was told that the problem had nothing to do with my tires or brakes and was likely the transmission (they did not rotate or balance as I requested either). I took my car to BURBANK TIRE (I recommend) where a transmission flush and other work was done...including the brakes (see photo below).Im not sure if they had a blind technician working on my truck that day or had a few too many at lunch, but my brakes were quite literally a few hard stops from FAILING ENTIRELY. I will NEVER go back to this place as this is not the first issue Ive had with them over the years, and I do not trust the losers who work there.

This location has terrible time management and communication skills. I’m not sure if they need new management or if the employees are just there to laze around. I made an appointment for 2:30pm, arrived at the shop at 2:15. They did not acknowledge me until 2:40. They told me they would bump my car to the top of the list since I had an appointment. I then watched them take several cars before getting to mine. The man that took down my information wrote “3:00” on the top of my form. There is no way an oil change should take longer than an hour. It shouldn’t even take 30 minutes. I have been sitting here for 2 hours and they have not even touched my car. The worst service I’ve ever received from an auto body shop.
Made an appointment for 11:00, was there on time actually a couple of minutes early. Went and sat in the waiting room where I was able to see them put my car up on the rack at 11:40 - 40 minutes after arrival. At 12:15 I asked for a status of how much longer this was going to take as I had another appointment and was told that it was going to take another 20-25 minutes putting the time at approximately 1:00 before my car would be ready. 2 hours to balance my tires! Had they started on time and not 40 minutes late, I would have had no issue. Why take appointments at all?!?

Not great today. Intake agreed to change a flat tire for me. I saved two tires from my Memorial Day weekend upgrade to four brand new tires. I didnt have hazard insurance and got a flat yesterday. This morning, they couldnt fix the flat and after taking the flat tire from me along with the extra tire, they called me 15 minutes later to let me know they had a policy against putting on used tires. (These are literally the same people who let me save the two good tires for this exact situation!) Theyre not always bad, but the customer always remembers his or her most recent experience. I took the flat directly to another shop where the guy actually repaired the flat. Let that also be a lesson about getting a second opinion.

Brought a vehicle in for oil change. Was told my belt was worn and old, and shocks needed to be replaced. Lmao, belt was new and my shocks are fine. Please just be careful when going here they might just say anything. Knowledge of your vehicle can help before entering and spending $700 on parts and labor for no reason.

I had a good experience in terms of service. The quoted price was accurate and there was no attempt to add additional services, which I greatly appreciated. The appointment system is a bit misleading as it gives the impression that the work will happen at the set time. The reality is that the appointment time is a placeholder and puts the car in line based upon work in progress before the appointment. So the excellent rating is mainly because of the workmanship, quality of information, and absence of pressure to add other services. For those in a hurry, it may be best to get in first thing, because an appointment does not necessarily save time.
Ben and Mohammad were excellent. Got me in right away, with a huge fifth wheel, changed all four tires and had me on the road. Highly highly recommend

Our vehicle was disabled while we were traveling and the mechanic, Hong Kong, went above and beyond in repairing our vehicle. He worked his off hours to get the vehicle operational as soon as possible. Ben, the service manager, helped us to identify the most affordable options and made of feel welcome while we waited. I went here on yesterday evening for an oil change. They came ask me if I had problems starting my car do due to battery issues. I told him never... I never did.... and no I dont want to pay 200 bucks for a new battery. Get home fine. Get up this morning guess what my car want start... I honestly dont think this is a coincidence. Idk if its possible to drain someone battery but I think its pretty weird how now I have battery problems.

I had a slow leak on a boat trailer tire, took it in to have fixed, salesman told me tire was 5 years old and couldn’t be repaired. Boat is pulled locally and stored indoors on concrete, tires look brand new !!! He was quick to say he had those in stock !!! Went to another tire store, tire fixed and lesson learned. #trytosalenewtires
I made an appointment today for 11:00 am to have my tires rotated, oil changed, and new wiper blades installed. I arrived early at 10:45 am with a request for them to call me when my car was ready. I am arranged for someone from work to come and pick me up. At 3:00 pm, I had not heard from them and called. They said they were just getting to it and it would be ready around 4:00 pm or 4:30 pm. A colleague dropped me off at 4:30 pm. I thought it was odd my car was in the same place as I left it 5 1/2 hours before. I went to the counter and asked if my car was ready. They went in the back and then came back stating my car had not been worked on at all. What good was my appointment or my calling to check on my car? I asked for my keys and left and will find another place that might value their customers. I will never recommend NTB unless I want that person to have a really bad day.
Was fairly happy with my service here. The staff was friendly . I have used them twice . First time I got a good deal on four new tires. The second I returned to have a nail removed from a tire to see if it could be patched . Showed up sans appointment and was still able to be seen and out in about an hour and half . The manager was very nice and honest about whether or not they would be able to patch it . He spent some time and was able to do it and send me on my way now worse for the wear. They dont tend to push you one way or another and are upfront about cost and estimates . It has been better then some car spots that nickle and dime you or upcharge you for everything

Would be a NO star if possible. Brought my car in for oil change w/ tire rotation USING the NTB coupon. My vehicle was brought to the back around 2 pm at 4 pm i went to see what was up. They informed that it was done and that the dipstick was low on arrival. The sales clerk left to get my car, when he returned shortly thereafter he informed that there was actually no OIL on dipstick and there fore they could NOT do the oil change. So in recap they let me waot 2hrs for them to do NOTHING!!!
Was lied to about the price of the work I had done. Took my car in for a road hazard warranty claim, was told that the replacement was covered by my claim, at no point in time was I told Id have to pay for the tire. Get there to pick up my car and I look to see the price of the tire listed on my bill with only a $30 discount applied. At NO point in time was I told that I would be paying for the tire until the moment I went to swipe my card and seen what should have been a total of $60 ended up costing me over $200. This is my third car to get tires from thIs shop and I can promise Ill never be back, this was terribly disappointing and dishonest experience

SKIP THIS PLACE.Or, at least dont expect them to be ready for you even you make an appointment on their website and confirm the price, date, and time.I confirmed an order and made an appointment using their website. I show up first thing in the morning and give them my confirmation and they proceed to tell me that not only do they not have the specific tires at their shop, but there are only 2 in the surrounding area. They offered another set of tires, but those were $130 more than the ones I selected. I was livid. I took my time off and was diligent about making an appointment. This place is obviously incompetent and doesnt value a customers time. Trust the poor reviews. Dont go here.It was probably a blessing... I cant imagine trusting these hacks to do work on my vehicle.
Hong Kong checks every detail about my car and makes no mistake in fixing it. We have established a great relationship and I always come here when I have a problem with my vehicle. He’s very honest and puts his full effort in what he does and I appreciate it. Hong Kong is an exceptionally great worker and I would recommend anybody to him.
DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR TIME TO BE ABSOLUTELY WASTED. I’ve never experienced such lazy and unprofessional service providers. Dropped my car off for a battery change, and simply asked to be updated when they had info because I was going out of town. 20 hours later, the guy FINALLY calls me first (Ben, I’m talking to you) and tells me my starter needs replacing, car would be ready for pick up in an hour. 4 hours later (bc I knew their word was meaningless at this point) I show up and was informed the starter wouldn’t work, so they simply parked it in the back without telling me, and then informed me I’d have to get it towed on my own expense. Now the dealership is closed, and I won’t get my car until at least Tuesday. I guess I’ll walk to work???? Thanks not so much BEN and NTB. Learn to admit when youre wrong, and UPDATE CUSTOMERS when youre too incompetent to get the job done. The triple A guy could jump my car in my driveway, but you guys couldnt do it in your shop? Really?
Got a flat tire Monday on my way back from work and these guys made it as painless as possible. Patched it and had me on my way in about a half hour, and this was around 7 p.m. Jonathan was super nice. I waited 2 days to post the review to make sure the patch was going to hold.
Need a trust worthy mechanic and great service head to national tire battery on essen lane and ask for Hong Kong. I have a 2016 Mercedes sprinter van and he takes care every problem . I drive 2 hours just for his service .
My girlfriend went in to your store on Saturday morning with a simple tiny nail in her rear passenger tire. She asked for a tire repair/patch. She was told that the tires all needed to be replaced. I know for a fact that those tires and tread were fine. She drives 25 miles or so a week. It is no wonder that your Google Ratings are so low over 45 total. She had her two daughters with her and apparently she had sucker written on her forehead. Glad she called me and got out of there.

They never fix it right the first time. They charge nearly 6 times the retail price of parts. My tps went out, cost $60ish for the part, over $120 to install it. I only came here because a friend I trust works here, but that hasnt translated to his co-workers.Just now they let me drive off with a missing brake bolt. Ive been here since 9am, had to come back twice because the job wasnt done right.
Had a problem with a tire and was in Baton Rouge from out of town. We stopped at NTB on Essen Lane and when we went in was waited on by Mike. He was very knowledgeable and had us in and out within 30 minutes with a new tire. Mike was very personable and a pleasure to work with in our situation. We will recommend NTB on Essen Lane to everyone.
I got a great quote on tires. Called back to make sure the tires were in and to make an appointment and got a totally different quote on the tires. Then called the other location, got another quote still. Same set of tires, 3 different prices. I called them out on it and got put on terminal hold...
For some reason this shop has incredibly long wait times. On my first trip to this location I walked in to get a tire patched. There were 3 other customers waiting when I arrived so I asked for an approximate time that they would be able to get to my car. The manager told me the wait would be between 30-45 minutes. I agreed to wait for that and took a seat in their waiting room. About 1.5 hrs later my car still hadnt been taken back. I saw a few cars cycle in and out, but I noted that they offered appointments so I assumed the people getting taken before me had appointments. I do a lot of my own car work so I recognize how sometimes things that seem like theyll take an hour end up taking more time. However, my total time on this first trip was over 4 hours. My car didnt get taken back until 3 hrs after I got there. I was frustrated at the loss of time, but needed the tire patched so that I could travel safely.The second trip that I made to this place I was more prepared. I gave them a pass on the first visit since I was just a walk-in and they had other customers when I arrived. For the second trip I needed a new set of tires and I wanted to avoid the wait that I had the first time. So I booked an appointment for the second visit. I got a specific time to come in and I came in at that time. I arrived 15 minutes early for the appointment and there were two people in their waiting room. The problem came in when it took two hours after my scheduled time for my car to even be taken back to the service area.This second trip took nearly 4 hours (again) for a trip where I booked ahead of time. I asked the manager about the wait and he said that several employees didnt show up for work that day and they had also double-booked appointments for my time slot. At this point I decided that unless mandatory I wouldnt be back to this location. The first time could be a fluke but having the same experience even after scheduling an appointment has put me off of this place. Other customers were complaining about the wait as well and seem to have had a similar experience.In addition to all of the waiting when my car was finally done (4 new tires and an alignment) the work wasnt worth the wait. I asked for a printout of my alignment figures to confirm the specs and the numbers are not evenly balanced. The numbers for my rear camber were not set to the same value which will lead to uneven tire wear. When I pointed out the imbalance the service manager first said that my car didnt have adjustments for those values. I pointed out that the numbers had clearly changed between the before and after alignment reports and he countered that I only had rear adjustments and they made those. I showed him where the front numbers had changed as well and he said those changed because the rear numbers changed(even if this is true for my car this still means that there is an adjustment for the fronts since apparently you can change the numbers by adjusting the rears). It seems like they did the bare minimum to get the numbers close to the range of acceptable, which also means Ill need another alignment relatively soon since Im close to the max spec. I was too tired of wasting my time there to argue further because at this point I knew I wasnt going to get any kind of good service from this location.Bottom line here is that this place ate way too much of my time. I dont currently have a second vehicle so I cant just leave the car and go do something else while they take 4 hours per trip. Typically theres the saying Fast - Cheap - High Quality, pick two when it comes to getting your car serviced. This place did not get me high quality work and nor was it fast. It was cheaper due to a sale on tires, but honestly Id rather spend a bit more to get faster service or at least a high quality result.

I really would avoid this NTB. I live in Dallas and work right next door to an NTB. My daughter goes to school at LSU and I though I could trust NTB to treat us right. NOT THIS ONE! I even called the day before to ensure the price I was getting. The NTB in Dallas has mounted at least 7 sets of tires for me (4 vehicles). I have never been quoted one price and had to pay another until now. The work may have been good, but service is a combination of workmanship and trust. AVOID THIS NTB

I went in to purchase one tire that I was told that would cost $57 came out with two tires. Ok $114 + fee and taxes right?.... Nope, try $200. Then they said we cant do an alignment Bc you need struts. Which with the parts included and my already $200 bill was a total of 560. Thats when it hit me... They are big time hustlers... My mechanic had just checked my struts, control arm... Took it to another shop and got my alignment! If you have a blow out and need just ONE manufacturer tire, and dont mind paying their ridiculous fees, then this is the place to go. However, be cautious on quickly trying to repair all of their other suggestions. GET A SECOND OPINION! Dont let them hustle you into giving them hundreds of dollars! Oh and, if you didnt see the tire or other damaged part on your car, make sure you tell them you want to SEE it or put the old tire in YOUR TRUNK!

First time, I tried to go as a walk in... the lady told me they might not even look at it that day, but if they do, the wait is unbearable - called back another day to schedule an appointment, and asked for Saturday at 4pm - Called on Friday to see about changing to an earlier time, and the rep tells me I am on for Friday at 4, and out of luck for the time i want Saturday.. obviously I am not meant to come to this place, but please get your staff together - bad service all around
I made an appointment online to have a tire patched. The appointment was set for 4:30 PM CST, as it was an open slot on THEIR website. I arrived a little early and was told to wait because there were no open bays. No problem. Fast forward 3 hours and 3 customers in and out before me later, and Im finally on the road. No apologies for wasting my time, no indication that it was going to take that long, and all after I was told that I was put ahead of everyone else because of my appointment. Then, the cherry on top, I was charged full price with no compensation for my wait time. Unacceptable. I was charged 3x as much and waited 3x as long for something that I could have had done elsewhere.Avoid this place.
I don’t even know where to start! The workers at NTB aren’t dedicated workers. I started using NTB as my vehicle service center in December or 2018. My first time there was horrible! I have to sit and wait 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation which is unbelievable. They forgot to fill fluids, reset oil life, and rotate my tires at my first visit so I ended up having to bring it two days later for that. I returned today to get the same services and it took 2 hours to complete, me thinking everything would be done perfectly.....they forgot to reset oil life. I have yet to look under my hood but I pray they filled my coolant. Are the techs not being trained?Not Satisfied
Do not use this place. I have been here over a hour now for a flat. They pulled in right in when I got here. Also in the hour i have been here they have tried to sell new tires to two different people with new tires. They said they were bad.
My daughter came down for the Ms state game and got stranded with a flat tire on Sunday afternoon. After frantically trying to find a repair shop still open, I called B R Police from Natchez MS. They suggested NTB on Essen Lane. She arrived at 4:45 pm and was told that they were not taking any more work because it was so late!! They dont close until 6 pm. Fortunately we found a competitor still open to help her. No thanks to N B T.
I came in for one tire change and balance. I scheduled an appointment and watched a lady with an oil change take over an over to accomplish. The auto repair techs tell me that I needed a wheel alignment and that my brakes were faulty. I stated more than once that my father was a mechanic and I would get him to do this. The tech then became irate that I wouldnt purchase further service and rushed me out.
Ive never actually written a review before, but then again Ive never waited TWO HOURS for an oil change, either. I was the first person in the door at 7:30 am (actually a little before, but I was dismissed until 7:30), but not the first car serviced. From the large picture window in the waiting room, I watched at the first 100 minutes went by, during which time my car was put on the lift and the oil drained out. In the last 20 minutes, fluids were put in and the tires rotated. I was told that the delay was due to the fact that the one person working on oil changes was working on two vehicles.How do two 35-minute jobs add up to a TWO HOUR wait? Your guess is as good as mine.In fairness, the manager did give me $20 off for the excessive wait. (Did I mention it was TWO HOURS?) But I will never go back here again. Whats the point of showing up at 7:30 if youre still late for work by the time you get out?
Unfortunately, I am going to need to edit my review. This review is for the Essen Lane location. We made an appt. showed up on time, explained what we wanted to be done (simple maintenance and a quick fix on a tire.) to the cashier, and started our wait.There were 3 customers besides ourselves waiting. Finally, after 3.5 hours, we were at the register to ready to go, I went over the checklist of what we requested be completed at the register the young man that checked us out assured me it was all completed.No, the work was not all done, we waited hours for what should have been completed within 1.5 hours. I am disgusted by the service and seriously doubt that any work was completed.I will never go to this or any NTB location again, be warned save yourselves time and money.
Great tires. Just too pricey. I was quoted $112 for a new tire. Went one block down and was quoted $70 for the same new tire.
Got home, checked my tires. They had over inflated every tire 10PSI higher than the recommended PSI. Called to tell them and all I got was a rude employee. Avoid this place, I know I will in the future.
I mainly use NTB for full synthetic oil changes and the FREE tire rotation, but I also have bought tires and a battery. The service desk is always friendly and the work is always done right the first time and on time - which is important.
Dont waste your time here... If you decide to go to NTB. Go to the one on Airline Hwy. These guys dont know what theyre doing. These guys are a bunch of young inexperienced entitled brats that cant admit when they are at fault and do nothing to correct it. Go to Airline Hwy and ask for Wayne. Hes experienced and knows what he is doing and he wont bs. From what Ive experienced, the guys on Airline are pretty straight forward and knowledgeable while the guys on Essen are the opposite. The guys on Essen couldnt even diagnose a punctured tire if their prepubescent manhood depended on it. Apparently, the way the Essen boys find punctures in your tire is by spraying a very delicate light mist over your tire. When I say mist I mean a mist (or missed take, your pick). I probably had more moisture on the underside of my taint while waiting for them in the A/C cooled waiting room. I had to come in the store and spray the tire and show him exactly how to do their job. If there were an option for a no star rating or a negative rating, I would put that. Again, go to the NTB on Airline & ask for Wayne and youll probably get the same deal (if not better) with the service you expect from a tire dealer. The boys on Essen need to get their staff trained or rename themselves to Noob Tire & Battery. (I posted a picture of a diagram of a tire in case the lady boys at the shop need a reference.)

Paid for an oil change and additional service and they didnt even replace the oil filter. I look under the hood and theres a Firestone filter. Like I wouldnt notice. Its a shame you cant trust people.

Called ahead and scheduled for a 7:30 appt. Arrived on time and the car was pulled into a bay. After waiting patiently for an hour, I asked about the status and was informed that none of the fire scheduled mechanics had managed to make it to work.Another customer said he knows this is common here, so he just plans around it.I got my vehicle back and went to tire engineers where it took less than 30 mins to get the tire replaced.I would only recommend NTB if you are in dire need and have zero other options.

Called for an appointment, it took three hours plus to get it rotated and balanced (WITH AN APPOINTMENT now). But without an appointment 4 to 6 hours wait, good luck with that. The technician told me that just like you go to the doctor office, you just wait until your turn. Very disappointed. Not recommended.
Poor service and installation. Broke sensor in tire and said it would reset itself. Would recommend looking elsewhere
Took way too long (more time than promised) and no one seemed to know what they were doing. Very lazy and non informative. No sense of urgency here! The one and only person at the front consistently complained about the phones, paper work and computers

I had my tires replaced today 4/4/19. Everything looks like it was going pretty well until the service technician tried to mount the tires on the vehicle but was having trouble putting it on and then decided to throw down my tire and damage my rim. They offered to replace or fix the rim which is the right thing to do but that is the last time I will not be going back to that place NTB on Essen. Customers be sure to keep a close eye threw the window on your vehicle and technician and be sure to take pictures of the vehicle and rims before you entered the store so you can have proof that it was not like that before you hand them the keys.
It was a great experience! My phone froze while trying to rate and it was stuck on the wrong rating.
Went there a couple weeks ago. Got truck a spare tire and oil change. Car two new tires. Took 4 hours for oil change and spare tire. Then I notice they didnt put lock nuts back on tires when they did the free tire rotation. The next day the new tire on the car had a flat.

Nasty bathroom, sink is so stained ftom not being cleaned, it needs to be replaced... Mens room...everytime I come here there is a problem with the work on my vehicle, and it takes forever to do simple services ... better pack a lunch...
HORRIBLE! They are not good with customers, very unprofessional. They have requirements for them to work on cars! Who does that? Either they have newbies working there or uncertified technicians. Made an appointment the day before with a gentleman and he didnt ask us anything about our car. If he did we would have had it serviced earlier by another shop that same day. Thank you SO much for wasting our time.
Felt they were unprofessional and unknowledgeable. Wasted 4hours just for a alignment. Two star because a new employee apologized of what i experience.
Terrible. I found employees that I dealt with to be severely lacking in honesty, integrity, and knowledge. Stay away. Go down the street to Allied.
Took 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation!!Mechanics spend more time smoking cigarettes than working on cars.Stay away!!!
So friendly and the place is nice and comfortable. The prices are awesome too!!
