I was totally shocked to see a Microsoft store in the Domain. I had no idea theres such a thing. Im glad I discovered it. The place is beyond awesome. It puts any Apple store to shame. Relaxed, friendly, and full of high tech gadgets and gizmos. Wall-size game displays?

My Surface Pro 4 screen broke and I was devastated. I came to the Microsoft Office and they replaced it for me and gave me some goodies that helped me feel way much better!!! I LOVE YOU MICROSOFT. Thank you for making my day better and bringing my creativity back.

I came by this store to get an in person look at the Surface Pro 7 and was really hoping Id get to talk to a sales rep that actually knew what they were talking about and answered my questions honestly. I was not disappointed. I talked with Xavier for over 30 min before I was done & he was great at understanding what I was asking and what base knowledge I was working with.Overall, great experience where I found out everything I needed to for me to feel comfortable making a purchase, I didnt feel pushed to make a purchase before I left the store, and the representative was honest about the capabilities of different devices. Will definitely be coming back.

A few quirks I do not like.1. Every time I call the store I’m connected to a call center. I like to speak to my live area representatives.2. I bought the warranty on my sons laptop and was assured of protection but they never gave me any paperwork or explain how it worked. And was told they do not have paperwork on the warranties.The good-1. Fun for kids.2. Good prices.

We took advantage of the back to school specials and save a little cash. I would highly recommend spending time playing with the different technologies and discussing your needs. Had recurring issues with my Microsoft laptop. Although it was frustrating having to go into the store multiple times, the management and staff made the experience much better, eventually providing a new replacement to alleviate my concerns. I very much appreciated that they kept their word and took care of me so quickly.

I chose this store to buy my computer from because I thought theyd have better customer service than those giant electronic stores. Im glad I did.I paid for the extended warranty without expecting to have to use it. Its been 1.5 yrs & last night my computer decided to quit without warning. I took it in and left with a new replacement laptop in hand.I was still upset that I couldnt retrieve my data (it wasnt in the cloud) & would lose a lot of work that was important to me. After I left the store I got a call that they were able to get my files back! Im ecstatic! I didnt know if theyd have the tools needed at a retail location, but the techs worked some magic.Tldr: I cant express how happy I am that I chose this location!Update: Have had several problems with hardware since my review & am happy to say that each time Ive received 5 star service. The staff here consistently delivers stellar performance. As others have noted, they are also honest.

The staff were very helpful helping us pick the best device for our needs. Great selection of devices, configurations and colors. Parking is not great, so be prepared to walk a bit to get there.

Very efficient highly technically savvy and easy to deal with. My friend recommended I buy their assure plan which covers up to 5 PCs that have Microsoft Windows on them. I brought both my PC as well as my laptop to get tuned up. They had each device for about 2 days turning them up cleaning up drunk and when I got them both back they ran very well. Also because of the plan I was able to buy a 5 MHz card and they installed it for free instead of charging me for it. Its only with the plan that they do that though, understandably of course! They are easy to deal with, they speak in laymans terms so I can understand and are very friendly. Im glad I purchased the plan and Im even happier I brought my devices here.

Cool things

I brought Surface Pro 4 with accidental protection plan. I had screen issues and it became unresponsive then I brought it to Microsoft store here at domain mall. They took more than 2 hours but still same issue. I told them my surface is in excellent condition without any physical damage but they don’t want to listen to me. All reps are rude and not even listen to me. I told them I already reinstall windows did all necessary updates but screen still freeze but they told me that they have to reinstall windows again and see what’s going on. I don’t understand why they don’t believe customer. What is accidental protection plan for? I would not recommend Microsoft store or products. Very disappointed.

Really like this store. Seems like they have great prices on computers and on games. The sales staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were not pushy in any way. Very friendly with my son, helping him play on the computers. They have a lot going on in store, a formula car, robot making, game contests. They also have lots packed into the small space.

They reneged on an offered deal! I called in before making the drive trying to confirm the details of the in store trade in offer for a galaxy note 10. However, in store I was quoted a much lower trade in value though my device was recognized as having nothing wrong it. When pressed for explanation I was told that a bunch of people bought old phones on Ebay in order to claim the deal and thus they had to lower their trade in value dramatically. I am disappointed in the way the deal worked and angry that calling in advance did not warn me that Id be wasting my time.

Made the long drive here because my Surface pen stopped working. They took 20 minutes + several people to just pull out the tip, and one of the employees ended up using a pocket knife saying that they were going to replace it anyway. Well, they ended up not replacing it and instead stuck the knifed tip back into my pen, telling me to just go buy a new one from Amazon. Not cool at all. I love my Surface and my pen, but I wasnt happy with this experience and hope that I dont have to come back to this location.

The staff is awesome, super friendly, and very attentive! Caleb is one of the many employees that amazed me and tended to me with a huge smile and positive attitude! I received daily updates on my laptop that I took in to repair and got it back working like a champ!! I recommend the Microsoft Store and their services!!

We visited to buy our daughter a laptop and end up having a fun time playing games there! The guy that help us was so nice that we end up going back and buying the laptop there 3 days later.Yes costumer service is the secret to keep up the business.

Ive been calling from home and never get an answer. Went to the store today and called while i was in the store and watched as one of the employees who was playing on their phone press a button which silenced the ringing and continue playing on their phone. Wow very unprofessional. I recommend the supervisor do this to see how indolent these employees are

Nice and clean and the staff is very professional. I really enjoy seeing all the latest laptops and such in one place. They are all Microsoft Signature which means no bloatware and so they run true. They also have some great deals and specials. Well worth a trip.

Went in to buy a Surface, there were a couple of snags along the way but Zac and Kym were super helpful knowledgeable and friendly. Even when I was being indecisive about what I wanted they showed great patience and care. They made me feel important and more than showed that they were putting in 110% for customer service. If I could I would demand a raise for them as they did so well that I wouldnt mind driving to the domain just to shop in store! Both of them really went the extra mile for me and I appreciate them both for it. If you need help this is where to be.

I am thoroughly impressed with the customer service I received at this store. I brought in a component, which is not in production anymore, that was malfunctioning. Dylan tested the component, determined it was faulty, located a replacement in store and exchanged the component, no questions asked. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Ill definitely be back!

Very impressed on my first visit to the Microsoft Domain retail store. I walked in without an appointment and was told No problem. My tech Luis was very knowledgable and determined that there was corrupted data in the operating system that was preventing me from installing a new program. He re-installed the OS and even downloaded and installed the new program I wanted to install. Beautiful store and excellent people. Overall a surprisingly terrific experience.

Excellent place to purchase your Surface products. Their warranty is far better than those offered by competing places. I get VIP treatment every time I enter their store since I shop there often. They also offer a Signature line of brand name laptops without all the bloatware and adware. Whenever I need business products I usually check here first.

I have been here several times for classes or advice. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and not pushy or overbearing. If they dont know the answer, they find someone who does. The training area is small but well appointed, with tables and outlets, and usually refreshments or at least cold bottled water. Vendors conduct some of the training, but they work seamlessly with the store staff on whatever you might need. The Domain location makes it easy to get to, plenty of parking, and food choices close by.

Had to return an Xbox one x on warranty. They helped me out pretty quickly but had to get the new Xbox shipped from somewhere else because they didnt have any in stock at the time.

Staff here are mostly great. Ive been in the store 3 or 4 times and usually they are great. 4 stars are because one or two of the people seemed to be burdened by helping people, but everyone has their off days. They are usually very helpful.

This is my second buying experience from this store; the first was Great! The second not so great. There seems to be a disconnect with the online MS store and this store. They wanted to charge me full price for an extended warranty when it was listed on sale on the MS site. They did do price matching with BB, but than refused my military discount; so veterans beware not so friendly. In the long run, it would of been easier for me to purchase at a BB store 4 miles from my home.

If I can give negative stars on this I would. I waited In line for 30 minutes to try out the virtual reality goggles and just when j was next in line. They said there is only room for one more and the guy behind me was next. I told her I have been waiting 30 min and she decided to put someone else In front of me. I waited a total of 42 minutes and was upset they made me wait even though I was next. I was so angry I left the store. Worst service I have ever had in my life. Do Not Visit This Store.

They had computers and xbox. So kinda like going to a smaller best buy that you would never buy anything from. The apple store had cool weird stuff and I left with this green ball thing that was fun that one afternoon.

Went in with a busted Xbox, within 15 minutes they tested the unit, found it defective, looked up the warranty, and replaced it for free. Honestly the fastest tech service experience Ive ever had. They also apparently hold tournaments every week, which is pretty neat!

Does the staff actually offer to help customers who come in the door? We spent 15 minutes walking around comparing laptops and not a single employee (8 of them, from my count) offered to help and would rather talk to each other or be on their phones. Will be purchasing our laptop online, thanks for nothing!

Great location with helpful staff, and great displays and demos of Microsoft devices and accessories. You can usually get in and out quickly for both shopping and support with their well trained staff

Most of the customer service is good. Some free classes are held in the back of the store, and attendees can get extremely useful product guide books. Occasionally, an employee will try to fake an answer. However, the majority of employees are very knowledgeable and helpful.

I find it weird that I have to ask for certain items that they dont have out on display because I am the type that comes in already knowing what I want to buy...and the employee doesnt even know that the item exists until the manager or other person comes out from the back with it.There is a guy that I see all the time that really knows what he is talking about I assume he is the manager.Otherwise extremely friendly staff.

Fun store to see the latest tech. They sometimes have some cool demos. Supposedly they also have some summer programming camps for kids, though mine are still too young for it.

The people there were very helpful. I loved my experience there and would totally go again. One thing I didnt like was when I went, someone was using the VR for about an hour. Once the man left, I asked if I could try it and the man said we couldnt anymore. Overall, I totally recommend this place

Filled with lots of helpful purple. They hold a lot of community events here too. Everything from camps for kids to gaming tournaments. Stop in and check out some pretty cool VR tech.

Everyone says this is an Apple Store wannabe. While true, this place still is pretty cool. Full wraparound screen with integrated Xbox, 3D printers, lots of hybrids and laptops to test out, super wide monitors, etc etc. you dont have to be a Microsoft fan to appreciate all the tech in this store. People are a little too in your face with trying to be helpful though. Probably because traffic is so low.

A great staff and so many great products and services in one location.

Stand up customer service. Sometimes you have to be the squeaky wheel, but theyve been there for us on several occasions now. Yes, we got a defective laptop from the online store, but the local store took it back and helped us get a better one at a later date. They also removed a virus from my sons laptop. Lastly, a few months later, my wifes fairly new laptop had a malfunction right in the middle very important negotiations and she dropped in and they fixed it on the spot.

So I went to the store and the technician ran bunch of troubleshooting programs and could not find anything. The verdict was both pen and surface are working fine, but maybe something is wrong with pens click setting so that it isnt working. And they couldnt fix it.

Went in with problems with my surface and the team there was extremely helpful. I had missed my appointment but they were still able to fit me in and they didnt try and pushed the most expensive item on me to replace it. Just good quality, all around wonderful customer service.

Microsoft has GREAT service in their stores, I definitely recommend it! We came in to troubleshoot our laptops, and a few employees fixed the problems for free. Compared to every other franchise store of the sort (Apple, Samsung, etc), theyre easily the best!

My Surface 3 froze on booting after major Win10 update. Took to store were some very helpful techs did not tell me to me an appointment, rather they would look at it and fix. They said it would take 4-5 days. They called me on the 4th day and it was fixed as promised, and completely updated free of charge. Explained to me what they did and what the problem might have been. Thank you...thank you!

I came to this store 2 day before this post. My Windows 8 install was damaged and required a reinstall to fix the problems. I only needed a ISO, DMG or a install disc from Microsoft to fix the problem. When i can to this store i was confronted negativity. i was told that both option where not a option. I had to buy a new copy of windows 8.1 before they could do anything witch is $199. then they would install the OS for me for 75 more dollars [witch i can do alone]. Another option they told me was to call Microsoft Support and have my Windows 8 key upgraded to windows 8.1 to witch i did.I called Microsoft support and felt like i was talking to a wall. They did not know a thing about the products and or what department control this problem i was on the phone for over 4 hours went through 10 transfers to different department before finally blowing up on one of them and demanded a supervisor. I talked to him for about 30 more mins to be told there is nothing Microsoft can do with out buying another Windows 8.1 Product Key when i already own 2. after being transferred to a new person, and have to tell them your problem every time, to give you information to somebody each time. This dose you no good because nothing you say is saved in the system so nobody can see anything you have done. So each time your transferred the next person you at starting at zero. So you have to start from the beginning on each and every transfer.long story short. I have never been so mad and disappointed at a company because of the lack of knowledge and support they give to there clients. I do believe i will go to apple and i have no desire to return to Microsoft again. I do believe i will start using apple only and stop suggesting any windows products as well.

The store was empty, but the employees were very friendly. My friend and I were taken through all of the stores services by Meg, on of the friendly associates. The walls are awesome with all of the video panels.

This is not the Apple Store although it is difficult to tell except for the logos. Microsoft learned from competition and built a display and education center to match competition. The employees are knowledgeable and well equipped to handle greenhorns as well as advanced computer operators. Lots of computers and tables space. You can learn operating tricks thatll save you much time. All prices are at retail list. Everything is wheelchair accessible. Free and easy parking.

If you don’t look like rich dandy be ready to be harassed. They won’t leave you alone and every employee will come asking if you need help or have questions. Hated this place.

The store, no doubt, is great! It has everything offered from microsoft that you are looking for! Latest surface line, Xbox games, office subscriptions etc. Staff is really helpful, they will give you personal attention and answer all your questions. Pricewise - I would suggest look for deals online, they are usually cheap.

Went to buy a Vive VR headset since at Frys all I got was a you should just order it online, youd have a better chance of getting one. Drive down the street to the Microsoft store and was treated to a demo and they had enough headsets to make a fort with. The people there are knowledgeable about the products in the store and were ready to answer any questions I had.Left pleased with my headset and a few days later got 3 codes in a email for games to play on the Vive. I was aware of the promotion but thought it was online only.Very nice store. ^.^

Since everyone is familiar with the Apple Store, the Microsoft store is often viewed as a knock off, but then again the Apple Store wasnt that different than the Sony Store or any other high end boutique.The staff was friendly and the products were availble for consumer to play with. One really nice thing is that the Surface tablets arent tethered to the table which allows you to really check the device out.They also have partner devices for demo there as well, so if you are shopping for a new ultrabook, tablet or laptop this is the store to try out things since its not bolted down like traditional big box stores.

I tried to trade in a $1600 that came from Microsoft and they offered $410 in store credit! The box was brand new, but just over the free exchange period. Surface has been a flop and this store will probably (at least should) close soon!

Awful customer service. From the get go. Inexperienced children who tell bold face lies. No one knows what going on they tell you one thing then tell you another that doesnt make any sense. They tell you your product will be available on this date so you drive (45 mins in my case) all they way there for them to tell you its actually not available and to call back tomorrow to check if it is. Once you call them they tell you that josh whos not supposed to be working inventory got the date wrong and the product might be there next week. Long story short no one knows what the hell is going on

The appointment was to fix a Xbox One which was not booting up. The associates installed a new OS and had it up and running. I had to leave the machine at the store for few days which was not a problem.

I went here for an Austin Business Journal meeting. I was lucky enough to meet Brynn Biddle and Durel Bernard who are both great. I learned a lot about their location but they host events too! It is conveniently located in the Domain across from California Pizza Kitchen.

I was approached by Meg who was very nice and informational. THe store was very well setup, I love the displays.

Looks just like the mac store but with different colors. The people there are nice, they also have a few xbox you could go and test out.

Fast service. No real pressure to buy something when you go there knowing what you want to buy.
