I overheard the manager talk about staff shortages. Its so sad the ones who come to work have to push so hard, while others find it so easy to just call off. Even being short-staffed and at times a one-man show, the automotive manager was making sure everyones needs were taken care of.I had to exchange my car battery. Dropped it off to get charged; returned an hour and so later. The battery was unable to be recharged. It was covered under warranty and the exchange was very plain and simple.I purchased car batteries from Walmart before usually, its a pleasant process and the last battery lasted 3 yrs. It was the 1-year battery; the lowest cost available. This battery was an upgrade to the 2-year battery. I had to return within 7 months. Grateful it is covered under warranty.

They need more security in the toy isles...a lot of toys taken out of their boxes. Food isles were neat and clean. Overall good experience and easy to use a wheelchair.

When I pulled into the curbside parking space I reverted back to my online order on Walmarts web site, there is an option that allows you simply inform curbside tenant that you have arrived for pickup, however I was having trouble locating that option within my order, thoeever that didnt matter because with withat didnt matter because I was promptly greeted by a tenant whom offered a lending hand . Impressive!

There was only one cashier open. It took about 30 minutes before I checked out. I usually use self pay because its faster, but I need a person for my purchase. Please open more registers please.

Its Walmart! They didnt get that size with spotty service. It has a well defined niche and fills it better that any other. Why average? Because ALL Walmarts Ive ever entered do the same very good jobI did note recently that the labor shortage was addressed with improved computerized processing. Dont want to work? Its your privilege in a free country! Walmart wont disappear...but there may not be a job there if people are a service limiting problem.

Dont go here to get your tires replace. Unless you have time to burn. Mechanic takes too long, eats breakfast while working on my tires. I wanted valves stems replaced, but they told me they dont have them in stock. So, beware you will get new tires but will not get your valve stems replace. Note to self, dont go to Walmart for tires.

The clerk at the self checkout was so kind and helpful, as I didnt have quite enough to pay for all the items I had chosen. She showed the patience of a saint, Ill tell you. After checking my balance, I realized that I could buy that kickstand, and she helped me find it. All while helping numerous others, as it was busy today. Thanks!

I mean, it was Walmart. Try are rarely helpful but they don’t get in your way or inhibit your shopping either.

Took my grandkids shopping for mothers day. I really like the new self checkout, everything went smoothly.

I really enjoy shopping at this Walmart!! Its clean, awesome employees, and always a register open(self checkout or regular). They have a great pickup center! Real easy, real clean, really fast! Thank Walmart!!

Most items were in stock but one in particular they decided to ship. It wasnt sensible for them to ship the item and after a few days they canceled the order. Of course theyre not going to pay $5 to ship an item that only cost $5. Availability of items seems to vary quite a bit between stores for simple things. However everything considered at least they dont inflate the prices of pickup items like other stores. Overall Ill continue to be a pickup customer.

Set an order for pick-up yesterday & it was delayed over two hours for whatever reason, so i left. I get a call the next day asking if i still wanted my groceries, of course i did so i come back the following day & have been waiting in the pick-up parking for 45 minutes trying to call the number (which nobody has picked up except for an operator) kinda frustrated, definitely not ordering pick-up from this store again.

They are super understaffed and not much is stocked because of it. I cant fault people for not wanting to work there but this is a first. Walmart needs to pay more and treat their employees better if they want to keep the store going.

Super scary vibes! I usually shop at the Walmart on 685...now I know why. Parking lot was crazy...cars parked completely wrong. Store looked dirty. And last,but not least,there was a man walking around yelling out randomly! Never again will I go to this one!

Honestly I hate coming to this Walmart.. i mean how hard is it to have non lazy cart pushers??? They never have carts inside, they are always just all outside. They need to hire better people. I always shop at this Walmart, but today me and my 3 year old fell down out side the parking lot because there is always water on the ground over by the pharmacy entryway!!! I hope that someone can fixes this problem so nobody else gets hurt! Thank you

Very disappointed with Walmart. Lines are super long. Customer service is not so great and never has been. Walmart has gotten away from cashiers and not everyone wants to ring themselves up. Walmart own employees say that Walmart dont value the employees. And dont ask for nothing cause the employees favorite thing to say is thats not my department! Walmart please do better!!

I wished that the store had a larger selection of plain colored cotton t-shirts for boys and other items as well. The store is on a major public transportation route and many other restaurants were also accessible via the #1 or the #801 busses. The cross walk lights are very short, so you must be quick and extra vigilant if children are with you.

Must improved on their propane exchange system. Having customers wait for 30 minutes in the heat is not acceptable. Next time its worth paying a bit more to avoid unnecessary stress

Terrible employees who have literally no knowledge of the store. This place is mismanaged and needs new training for all of their employees. Corporate should revaluate the poor leadership of this store.

25Sep2021,@0800Walmart service center in Bastrop Texas, had the worse case scenario of poor customer service I have ever seen in 40yrs of my life.The customer service was lacking, very disorganized, no suggested timelines where meet.Iwalked the store for four and half hours.I came in early Saturday morning  of last week awaiting a oil change, tire rotation, balance ...and left out with only a tire change ...Techs need to be either  retrained or replaced

While their stock is a little limited at the moment was still able to find everything needed fairly comfortably.

Employees were slow to acknowledge me in the deli. One regular checkout open and the line was backed up into the Isles. Self check out would not accept cash. Poor service all around.

If i could give them a 0, i would. Completely pathetically staff, 3 day trying to contact the manager. Nothing. Go to the store, staff is rude, manager is always busy or out. Terrible terrible terrible. Jerry and joy are not manager worthy, completely selfish individuals. I would say call me but i dont like talking to people with selfish ideas. Completely dislike this walmart.

The Walmart in Norwood barely has anything on their shelves due to they are moving store items around. The Walmart on Palmer Lane is fully stocked and very uncrowded. Both Walmarts have excellent staff and great prices. The Norwoods Walmart is super crowded, even self checkout takes long to get through.

Duh, its wally world place was great actually a large selection of clothes! Found some solid pieces for great prices and staff was friendly.

I am sick of this Walmart. They never have more than one or two check out lanes open its always self checkout with long long lines. My last visit I was even followed around the store by a so-called customer while I witnessed a couple walk out with a 60 inch TV and not even be stopped and ask for a receipt. The customer service is horrible and that says a lot about management. If the employees are allowed to be disrespectful and dishonest then I would have to say that the Management is too. On a prior visit when speaking to management about my gift card being used for the whole balance after hours I was told I would need to file a police report there was nothing they can do. The store was closed when the card was used that means it was an employee because they make sure that they tell you they are closed get out. Ive even had an employee turn the lights off in the customer service line at 6:01 and say sorry were closed. When clearly they saw myself and to other customers in the line. Walmart should be embarrassed with the Norwood location in Austin Texas. If that is a representation of Walmart itself, maybe they should focus on revamping the customer experience or closing down all together.

This location needs an entire cleaning of house. Waited 30 minutes n customer service line, and not one person addressed the wait or said anything, no manager here, called pharmacy n electronics nothing...no one at doors either, anyone can rob this store if they wanted to...cant imagine how much stuff walks out daily due to staffing issues here.I wasted my entire break on this store and zero employees helped, or even acknowledged the crowd waiting. Horrible experience, will never go back.Regional management needs to get their tails in store pronto and fix or they just dont care seems like from other posts that is the case..upper management has written this store off, very disappointed

My girlfriend I just moved into a new house and were in desperate need of shelving, could not find any anywhere, I had to run to Walmart real quick Cruising the aisles and a fella named Matthew who was in a business meeting by fabric took time out of his talk to come and show me to the right Isle, show me the shelf that i was after! This guy is a Hero 5 stars to Matthew that was in this Walmart in the back left corner red vest big smile, hes a shining example of customer service!!

There was a lot of choices in this Walmart. I found some nice blouses. My only complaint is the toy department, which is a terrible mess.1🙄

I found prices of groceries, fruits and liquor in Walmart are very reasonable apart from having a very wide range of merchandise, i.e. from vegetables, Electronics, pharma, personal care, liquor, dairy and meat.

I like this location BUT I hate that they are removing the online pickup machine from inside the store and now making you do the drive up pick up which takes forever the majority of the time and theres always a problem of some sort with my orders. But oh well thats life isnt it

This Walmart is pretty decent. However, it doesn’t have sizes below a large in clothing most of the time. It’s never fully stocked. Employees are great though and helpful.

Recently our non-profit United Volunteers Association Inc did a Kids gift drive at Walmart, where we gave a shopping experience to Refugee kids for their footwear purchases (Shoes/Sandals, etc). We got around 350+ kids with their parents. The management and staff were very courteous, and helpful. As we had discussed the complete program with them a week before, they opened 4-5 special counters for us.I will definitely like to thank Walmart and their staff for all their support. Not the best or worst store Ive been too. I was able to find what I needed, but the selections were kind of small. I hope the economy picks back up and this location gets the staff needed to be able to keep a store this size running.

Had to go on a scavenger hunt for a basket. There was barely anything on the shelves, and half the fragile items were left broken on the shelves. Does anyone actually work here?

I love that Walmart is stepping up their COVID-19 measures by trying (but not yet succeeding) to get customers to go down alternating aisles and maintain 6ft separation. Still sucks that it takes 5 minutes to get the things you need, but 20 minutes to get in and 15 to checkout. Folks need to learn that 20 Items or Less means you need to have no more than 20 Items, lol.

Wasnt happy went in to get a pack of cigarettes and couple of other items. Im closing in on 60 yrs old didnt have My DL with Me they refused to sell Me cigs

This was not a customer service store after spending over the yrs thousands and thousands of dollars in Walmart I could not even get a 3 dollar break on a product they have been out of for awhile. I get it cause they are selling 1 item for 3.67 and 2 cost 4.88 but they refused to sell me 2 single packs for cost of the double pack... Oh what ever we do dont give the customer a $ 2. 46. Difference. This was such a petty Difference all because they wont order the double pack

I grew up all my life going to this Walmart and I’ve witnessed it go from trashy to nicer and nicer over time. Granted, you are still getting your typical Walmart experience with messy aisles and employees who do not care, but this Walmart is huge and it has literally everything you need to get all in one store.That said I had the worst curbside pick up experience. I can tell they’re short staffed but it was ridiculous. The sign says for pick up please call the number. Called 10 times no one answered. I had to flag down a guy on the middle of of a run to another car, and then had to wait another 40mins to get my stuff.

Im traveling and stopped here tonight for some rest after hours of driving. The security guard came up and knocked on my window purposely shining the light right at my face and immediately started talking in a very sarcastic and condescending manor asking me what can I do for you and didnt let up the whole time. Asking me after what I was getting at the store as pillows are falling out my door from the backseat. Dude needs to be retrained for sure

I went this even for a printer. There were only 2 in stock and the rest were for display only. I went to ask the associate if they had more at the back. I stood in line and after being ignored I eventually told him I wanted to know if they had any more. He said they didn’t but the nice man he was checking out told me I could find some good ones at Office Max. Not only were they in stock but they were also better quality. Thank you Mr. Customer! All things considered. Pretty good 👍 and much better than other Walmarts. I will drive an extra mile or two just to shop there.

Friday July 9th 2021 Malik a customer service employee went above and beyond his Call of Duty to help me in every way possible to try and find vacuum pump oil which we could only find by ordering offline. Most employees would have said we dont have it and walked away. He spent a good ten minutes devoted to my customer service needs and this reason alone I give him five stars and he needs a raise immediately and management opportunities. This is coming from a tenured manager the number one service customer service cellular company on Earth. Malik deserves management opportunities and more.

Cant wait until renovation are completed in November.

Went here for oil change and waited 30 minutes to get checked in. I was informed only 1 person had the pad for check-in. No one at the counter could do it. Their service is terrible and no one gives a damn. I question their quality of work on my vehicle and if I should re-evaluate my decision.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The managers (Bekah and Patrick) don’t even know what’s going on… I called to make sure they had the product first, just waited 30 minutes in the store just for them to tell me they don’t even have the product….. Both managers response to my frustration was “Ok what do you want me to do about it?”

Saw an item online and it didnt show up as being inside the store. I happened to stop in at this location and saw my item on the shelf.The price online was $5 cheaper for the same product.I went ahead and brought my item to the front checkout and asked about a price match. Didnt think I would get approved.A manager was called over (Cheryl) and she verified the same item that was on my phone was the same item I brought up to the counter and without hesitation she went ahead and approved the price match.Thats the type of service everyone loves to enjoy. When the customer is right... the customer is handled with care and walked out with a smile on their face.

Lack of employees, for the amount of customers that go buy things on a daily basis, many checkout aisles are closed causing longer lines and longer waits. Unprofessional staff members. Walmart very disorganized for its appearance every time I go there. Lack of communication with the customers when being at the register. I prefer H-E-B instead.

Overall its an alright Walmart. But its annoying to get followed around like Im stealing. If Im gonna steal Im taking the register.

My family and I are regular customers at this Wal-Mart. We enjoy coming here, only exception today is some items did not have a price on them and I didnt want to have to wait for a long period of time for a price check.

Yes, Walmart, is Walmart. They have changed in some ways. In my opinion, some area of the store, need more help in. The service desk, needs more than one person, manning it. Calling in to Walmart, sometimes the phone, just rings. No one will pick it up.

It did!When it was time to do exchange....Wait .......why Mrs. Barbra gave my receipt to another customer!! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Mrs Barbra claimed she never had my receipt!!Please send Mrs Barbra in soft lines to fold clothes! It has been probably 3-4 weeks that they don’t have carts inside the designated spots. It seems like this Walmart has either lazy employees or they don’t care about the customers.

No one answers the phone. Ever.In fact someone has even answered for a split second to switch me on hold without speaking a word to me and then I was on hold so long it or they transferred me to another line and then it ran there until someone hung up on me.

Great place to shop, the restrooms are clean, and the McDonalds fish sandwich is great too!
