I went in to buy some office chairs and had a really great experience.I was assisted by a male manager (he told me his name and gave me his card too but I lost it and can’t remember his name, my bad!).He was extremely helpful, showed me a variety of options in my price range and walked me through the store so I can try all the chairs I liked. He had a ton of patience with me as I took a long time to decide which one I wanted (I’m a tad picky when it comes to office chairs!)He was super knowledgeable about the different type of chair options too which was helpful to me. I ended up buying two chairs and also he let me know that the store will build the chairs in-store for a small fee.They built the chairs in under 2 hours which was incredible - way easier than ordering the chair online and having to assemble at home. As soon as they were done, they called me to communicate they were finished which was nice!(I was super surprised to read some of these about a manager named Kaylee, if she still works there, I didn’t have an encounter with her)

When you need a job that will take you hours to complete there is a good choice at OD to let them do it.

Manager Kaylee needs to be fired, she’s ignorant, doesn’t make sense her being manager, I bet she treats the workers bad. The other manager is cool, don’t remember his name though but he’s awesome and attentive to fix things

Really really happy with the way my prints turned out. Chris the Manager at the print center was incredibly helpful and obviously knew what he was doing. Made great suggestions and got the job done in about half the time I expected. Reasonable price too. A little less than expected.

Seldom do I comment, But to see that type of disrespect and treatment to a customer says a significate amount of the manager her name(Kaylee) with respect to (Kaylee),for this my family and I will not set foot in this store nor put ourselves in any relevant range of such place ever again. I dont understand how a business can find such behavior okay, as it reflects Office depot. I would say stay away from this place if you dislike being disrespected or see any type of aggression towards customers.

Went in for some staples, watched the manager woman break a customers picture frame then the poor guy fell on the glass! Hopefully this kind of behavior isn’t tolerated here, she wouldn’t even give him a refund!

Huge shoutout to Jakobi. I came in thinking that I need to buy a new Laptop because mine was extremely slow. While Jakobi did explain the awesome benefits of having a Chromebook and how it is a better fit for me, he advised that I bring in my current laptop and have them look at it before we throw it in the trash. Spent less than $200 to make it run extremely smooth. I went from having a 10-15 min start up to a :15 sec startup when restarting my computer.

This office supply store is very unique from the rest to of its other sister locations, the staff are kind and thoughtful into looking for what you need and what they offer more. If you need anything for work or school, go and see if they have what you need.

The female manger is very rude and quick tempered. She is not fit for a leadership roll. She shows qualities of a pampered child who doesn’t get her way. Extremly unpleasant woman.

I find the staff are always friendly and ready to go the extra mile for their customers. Just the other day I had them turn around a order of business cards faster than I ever could have imagined. I highly recommend this store.

July 19,2020 I arrived at this place with my laptop that I had bought at Walmart and the screen did not work and at Walmart in Round Rock I was mistreated and I was sad because they did not return my money. But I came to this Office Depot and I was very well attended. I thank God there are people who love their work and help clients. Beatriz Tinajero, Justin and Jakobi Robbins service is five stars. Today my laptop is working fine and it was repaired. The laptop part arrived today and was fixed in two hours. Thank you for all your help.

Came here to buy a laptop and I am very pleased with the experience and the laptop I got. The tech guy was very knowledgable about the different specifications of each laptop and took about 45-60 min with us explaining the pros and cons of several laptops to help us choose the right one. He was very patient with our questions I will definitely come back here if I need any other help with my laptop and I recommend this location for all services the store is very well laid out, bright and clean, and they even have a small kids area for waiting children!

I was just here and I was determined to write an awful review about this place until the manager, Nathan stepped in. I was waiting for about 25minutes before either of the employees working at the print/shipping station even acknowledged my existence. There were two people in front of me and it seemed like they were taking ages to get through each person. Once I was finally asked what I needed, I was asked for an order number. When I said I didn’t have it because I never received an email I was very rudely told nothing could be done and how was he supposed to look it up if I didn’t have the order number. I gave him my name and he claimed he could only look up my order with my order number, even condescendingly showing me the computer screen to show me he couldn’t find my order. He didn’t offer any solutions and was extremely aggressive in shooting down any suggestion I made. As soon as Nathan stepped in he immediately found my order by looking up my phone number and reprinted it. When he went to grab the pages, he came back with my original order. And guess what? IT HAD MY NAME ON IT. Nathan has amazing customer service skills and the other two employees need to step up their game. (This does not include the younger girl who was working in the store section, she was also very kind and helped me with what I needed)

The most inefficient experience every single time I go there. I live in the building attached and will drive 15 min to another copy location just to avoid this one. A simple task like picking up a couple prints will take no less than 20 min.

This was my first time at this particular location. Although Ive never been here, I saw a familiar face.Mr. Jakobi (spelling..?) was here doing what he does best: Great Customer Service.. I remember him from the Round Rock location and he made an impression then.There is complimentary coffee for patrons waiting for business services!Lots of small items at the register that are both useful and inexpensive.. Not to mention randomly amusing.. Like Poo-Pouri Ha!Ill be back as soon as I can. Thanks again, dude!

The new store layout is much improved from the layout of office max. The front section of the store has the business center/dell box /furniture and back if the store has the supplies. Clean, well organized, and very friendly staff.

This print center is a great place to visit if you want to meet a Futile Incompetent Lummox in person and get to know one really well. You may only need to make a single black & white copy, but you should be prepared to spend at least an hour on this task. The machines are all brand new, and so you may think that youll be done in a matter of seconds and be on your way, but you would be wrong. These brand new machines are cleverly designed to freeze up on you in the middle of a job and show a Processing... notification for the rest of the day, keeping you stuck in the store instead of doing what you really want. You could try asking one of the staff for help, like the lady with the geriatric perm who tells you to please wait while she finds someone for you because even though she works in the print center, she doesnt know how to work with any of these technologically advanced machines that isnt a cash register.... Or you could ask the nice lady who wears the tasteful elaborately embroidered jeans to help you out and wait for her to flash you one of her signature death stares. If looks could kill folks, youd be on your way to the coroner, but fortunately she doesnt yet possess Medusas special superpower, so youll just have to listen to her mutter under her breath while she randomly punches buttons that dont do anything. You would think she would be trained and be easily able to print or copy a sheet of paper for you, but again you would be wrong. My guess is this poor employee has to work with some devilish interface where everything gets completely changed every few minutes, so even though shes worked in the print dept for at least the last 5 years it is impossible for her to know what any of the buttons or other inputs will do, and she will just have to try them all in a long series of trial and error attempts. Finally, after a long period of scientific research and development, your paper will be ready to print. Youll know that because she will ask you for your phone number. You may just automatically give it to her, as you will be ready to do anything she asks at this point just to be done with this ordeal, or you may ask Why do you need my phone number to make a photocopy? Its to add you to our savings club. You will be informed. Theres a club folks, and you can be part of it. I imagine they have a disco ball and lasers and a really cool house dj from some place like Amsterdam. I imagine that had I been more cooperative and provided them with my phone number and address confetti would have dropped from the ceiling and I would have been ushered to the secret chambers of the club with the disco ball and the laser show, where someone would hand me a pot cookie and introduce me to the cool dj from Amsterdam and I would have realised that this was all just a test for me to make it into this awesome club...

Clean and friendly store but you can get everything on Amazon cheaper. Prices are too inflated. Variety is a lot better so if you need a niche item like a folder thats aquamarine instead of light blue cyan or something like that then office max is your place to go.

Second Update: I have too many things to print and ship. Davon and Donny are always very sweet to me and try to make my mess a little easier even though it’s always a mess.Update: customer service has improved in the printing area. Donny seems to know what he’s doing. Got in and out in 10 minutes today and he applied the corporate discounts correctly.Poor customer service in printing area, self-copy/print machines limit you to $25 of printing. FedEx Office printed what I needed in 15 minutes for $60, whereas they quoted me 2.5 hours and $210.

I go here for work constantly and the staff are always extremely helpful without being pushy. Theyve helped me on a few things more complicated than buying office supplies and are always very quick!

My experiences with Office Max and in particular this store has always been one where employees are asking me if I need assistance for a particular it, but I enjoy exploring the store (its almost like a trip to my neighborhood hardware store - catch every aisle for something new for the garage, and in this case - its our study). The staff is courteous and always close by. Checkout is a snap! I get the same good service, when I walk over to fax letters. The parking garage makes it a guarantee Ill have a parking space, well lit and secure.The Burnt Orange means it will be Longhorn friendly!Thanks Office Max!

Wish there was a 0 star rating. Never go here to ship something. I waited in line for 20 min. while the worker was getting instructions on how to ship a package over the phone. The other worker couldnt help me, just let me know I was next in line (I was the only person standing there). Once he was finished he apologized for my wait then disappeared into the back room. It is a self service FedEx computer, but I had a couple questions along the way and he never came back out. I left after being in there for 30 min. without shipping my packages. Very frustrating!! FedEx should not have their shipping in this store.

They call themselves Lenovo service providers, but still call Lenovo and they will send a tech out to check on your machine. They will order a part if its needed, call the tech back out to fix. All while leaving your laptop with them. So what service do you actually provide? Just calling Lenovo for the customer?

A project submitted the night before was never looked at and no one was answering the phones. It was not until I drove in, 3 hours after opening, that they looked at the request, and then took an hour to print and bind 30 pages. I will be buying a binder from another company and dealing with this in house from now on. Do not take the risk of dealing with this company/location.

Came in to design and order business cards my first time ever. A nice young man helped me from the computer. We found something I really liked, from googling. I asked for suggestions for wording and placement. Received same placed order for less than 2k cards, paid and left. A friend pointed out incorrect spelling and grammar format. I called and came back in to reduce cards. Had not received any info on progress after 3-5 days, so I called. I was informed the a copy could not be made from Google site, try Office Depot web site and find a template I liked. I could not no template offered. I was informed they could not help me design my card. I asked for a refund, sided ok, but nothing showed up on my acct. Informed to come in and it would be placed back using my card...I received an apology from the Karen who was a sweetheart, over the phone. When I came in and was processed by the manager, he offer no apology por concern, but an attitude of indifference. 3-4 weeks of expectation which fizzled to nothing in the end! This was my experience!!! You decide.

Terrible customer service….. I went into the downtown 5th street location one month ago to get printer cartridges for my 5 year old HP printer. The kid working at the store talked me into buying the new wireless printer from HP with all of the bells and whistles. I got it home and printed about 10 copies with it. I tried to print with it several times this week and I keep getting a problem with printhead error message. I have tried everything to get this brand new printer to work. I called the store and talked to Joseph the manager and all I get is this high school smart a** making cute comments and telling me I am stuck with this thing and I should have paid for the extended warranty. I expected more than a month of use out of this thing. I should have gone to Best Buy and I wouldnt be having this problem. My advice for anyone buying anything more valuable than a notepad and pens from this store would be to keep driving and go to another company. Someone left the store keys with a high school kid and now I am stuck going to Kinkos until I can get a real store manager to help me out. Terrible service Joseph

If your print job takes five minutes . . . for instance like the job I had today which took about 8 minutes . . . you go into the cue at this location and must come back and pick it up later. If you cant go into a copy center and get ~45 8.5X11 color copies made while you wait . . . Im not sure what a copy center is for.

Called and asked if they had a specific laptop charger for Lenovos. Associate on the phone assured me they did, which I then asked him to set aside before making the 30 minute walk over. When I got to the store they stated they had just sold their last one, and the closest store that may carry one was a few miles away. Terrible customer service. Will not be back.

Sterile, boring but serves a need...office supplies. Very mediocre but it is hard to make office supplies fun.

Horrible service. Called ahead to confirm stock for a specific item, took a taxi there from the convention center, and they didnt stock it! Total waste of time and a reminder why I havent been in an Office Max for years...

I shipped something from this Office Max location and they didnt actually ship it until two days later!! On top of that when I call to find out what was going on, An employee named RON gave me attitude for calling about it and said that it should reach the destination today.I was very unhappy with the service, and their customer service. :-(I wont use this location again.
