Dont trust these guys with any serious electronics repair. They agreed to replace my MacBook Pro laptops battery if I supplied them with the new battery. They did such a poor job that the adhesive strips used to keep the battery in place werent used at all. The battery now moves freely inside the laptop. The screws for the back case were not properly screwed back in either, it didnt occur to the technician that Apple uses two different-sized screws for the case. Thats two amateur mistakes that I have to fix and are not supposed to result from a professional battery replacement. Lastly, James pressures his customers to give iPhone Repair Gods and Star Tech PC favorable ratings before a job is even done. These ratings are not representative of either business.

Save yourself money and stress: do not go here. Do not bring your devices to be fixed here. Do not ignore your instincts that the place looks and feels shady.I brought in a 7 month old iPad because the screen was cracked, and I was quoted $150 to replace the screen. The iPad was fully functional when I dropped it off - it was only a cracked screen. The two day job quickly turned into a six, at which point I spoke to the owner on the phone. He informed me there were loose parts inside of the iPad which was causing them difficulty when repairing it. But they were ordering a new motherboard cable (?) and would have it fixed quickly. Keep in mind that the iPad completely worked when I dropped it off. I called back the next day and spoke to the owner again, when he tried to sell me a 2014 iPad for the $150 that I paid for the screen. I understandably felt like I was being scammed, so I went the next day to pick up the device.The owner wasnt there, so I instead spoke with one of his techs. The tech explained that when opening the iPad, they had damaged it and had been attempting to fix it for a number of days. This was never disclosed to me until I showed up. I told them I wanted to be made whole for them completely ruining my iPad when I brought it in for merely a cracked screen, and I was told that the liability agreement I signed upon dropping the device off precluded them from having to do anything. At this point, I just took the device and left. It wont turn on and is a completely useless hunk of glass and metal now.TLDR: broken screen turned into a completely iPad and they refused to take responsibility. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I took my iPhone 11 Pro Max in to get the screen fixed. My phone was working fine and as soon as I picked it up I noticed the volume to go up wasn’t working. I took it back in to tell them about the issue and they said it was impossible for them to of had touched the volume buttons. Apple told me the phone was damaged when having the screen replaced!! All these reviews are done by the owner. He takes the phone away from you when they give it back and put the reviews as good for you!! Please make sure your phone works anytime you have the screen replaced with them!! Not a happy customer at all!

I took my desktop in to get it repaired after it shutdown! It took a couple days for them to diagnose my computer but I know things probably get busy around the Christmas season, so I understood. I found out the repairs would cost way too much for me, so the owner James offered me a deal on one of their desktops. I went to best buy Geek Squad and it took 1 hour to attend me. They didnt even help. Came here and they attended me within 5 minutes and were supper friendly. Got my computer fixed and with an even better system than it had before ! Plus they gave me a free screen protector for one of my phones.

I was going to rate this place 5 stars because they are extremely quick. But the screen they give you is extremely fragile. I’ve gotten mine replaced for the second time there in two weeks. The first screen had problems when I left it out in the sun. The second time I got the tempered glass and it broke within hours without me dropping it or anything.This is a great place to go for a quick fix that is going to last you a few days.
