Best place to play hide and seek! The employees will never try to find you or they pretty much will just radio for help 10 times. Waited 15 minutes patiently for help and saw 5 people pass by me. We all know it’s Covid still but it would help to have some people work in their respective departments.
Not a fan of Best Buy. Best Buy you are lucky you have nice employees, but thats all you have. This is the only store who has a 14 day return policy. they were nice enough to issue store credit, but they do not have anything in stock, and no one who works there knows where anything is, they might act like they do and point to the direction where it might be located or even admit they dont know. I do not blame the employees, this is lack of training. I had to order a paper shredder, even though the website said they did have it. Then, I had go back to the store that isnt close to me to pick it up. I like how the receipt says shipping free its not free shipping if I have to get in the car and drive to your store to pick it up. Free shipping is when someone doesnt charge me for leaving it on my doorstep.
Tried to buy a laptop and was told it was out of stock. Drove home and ordered one online, to my surprise in-store pickup was available. So I chose the option and then the same store that just sent me away saying they didnt have any had one ready for pickup in less than an hour. Because clearly they had it the whole time.The laptop is great but Best Buy doesnt get rated on that because they dont make laptops, they get rated on trying their best to not to sell one.
Became one of many people who participated in the Video Game In-Store Event. Arrived past midnight and stood in line waiting to purchase a popular next-gen console.Everything went accordingly -- while in line staff member asked which console we wanted, gave us a ticket confirming our purchase, then once we got in front of the line, handed said ticket to another staff member to proceed towards check out counter. Plus they had set up a table featuring gaming accessories if necessary. Thank you to all the Blue Shirts that planned and worked on this event!
I bought a refrigerator online ($2K+). Best Buy could not deliver in time so I canceled the order (canceling the order was difficult, even though I had just placed the order).When I asked how long my refund would take, the customer service answered one billing cycle... Huh? Excuse me. I do not have a billing cycle. The agent then translated one billing cycle into 30 days...Excuse me? What universe is Best Buy in? Apparently, fraud and bamboozling their customers... Needless to say, I will not be shopping at Best Buy again. Its run by clowns.
Just wanted to compliment the attentiveness of the salespeople in your store. We shopped in the TV soundbar dept as well as the appliances today. Both had knowledgeable and very helpful folks. We were in the Best Buy at Bee Caves yesterday, and the experience was the polar opposite - Couldn’t find help and all but one of the soundbar demos was broken. So glad we drove to the S Austin location!
Why does stuff show in stock in this store, and when I order it online and come there they say we don’t have it. Avoid this Best Buy.

This Best Buy store in US-290 South Mopac have them all, strategically located in the mall area there with ample parking spaces. Very courteous sales associates, greeters, and most all the store is beautiful with wide selection of electronic items. I was surprised that they now carry both Apple and Microsoft products as well as kitchen appliances such as refrigerators. The interior of the store is spacious and nicely laid out. Have I mentioned the Greek Squad staff and services? Yeah, they complement the over-all store shopping experience.
I scheduled a repair appt at 1:40pm 07/25/21 with geek squad to address an issue with my 2 yr old iPhone XS Max getting stuck in a reboot loop. There was no visible damage to the screen. After a 10 min wait in the line, a well mannered lady heard my problem and proceeded to take the phone inside the shop for diagnosis. After 15 mins she came out and handed the phone to me saying there is corrosion around the charging connector and that the phone cannot be fixed by them. Surprisingly the screen was now shattered. When I mentioned this she told me it was already broken when I brought it in and I just couldn’t see it, which is bogus. When I protested this she proceeded to tell my my screen was a after market part - not true because I bought the phone at an Apple store and never dropped/repaired the screen. She simply dismissed my claim of them having broken the phone. Subsequently I took the phone to 1 Up repair, south Lamar and they managed to identify the issue, replace the screen and repair the phone. The screen replacement cost me $175. Shame on geek squad for not being careful and then not taking responsibility

Was getting a case for my oculus quest and had to wait for a good 45 minutes just to get keys to open the case for what we already needed but when the associate did make their way to us they were extremely friendly and had most likely just clocked in for the day
The GM was super helpful for us today and helped me find some perfect earbuds while getting the misses a watch ordered.
They have a good price match and a nice inventory of newer stuff. I enjoy going here to look around and then if u find it online for less they will match the price. It is a great deal to get the item that u are looking for the same day instead of waiting on shipping. They also have a no hassle return policy. People are helpful but not as deeply knowledgeable about the products. Smart watches as an example, nobody could answer some basic questions. But thank God for being able to Google it!
Best buy is the worst. Bought a piece of exercise equipment and confirmed the delivery address 3 times with the sales associate. Even checked that it was correct on the electronic pad. Now...Best buy is headed to the wrong house and there is no way to even get in touch with the delivery driver. Super frustrating and just another issue in the many weve had with best buy.

I havent been there in a while so things were a bit rearranged but everything was properly labeled so I was able to go in, find what I needed and get out quickly, a true blessing in these times.Online stock was updated and true to what they had in stores too...
I purchased a service plan with Best Buy when I purchase my phone from Best Buy under the impression that if my phone got broken or something happened they would repair it. However, today when I went there to have that done I was told that just like my phone service provider, I will have to pay a deductible and they will send me another phone and I return the one I have, not what I was led to believe at the time of sale! Very, very disappointed in Best Buy!

The store is nice and clean and the folks were nice... But I stood next to two customer reps while they had a casual conversation with another customer. I clearly was standing next to them to ask one of them a question but they did not acknowledge me. I had to butt into the conversation to get one of their attention after I stood there for about 2 minutes. Clearly the guy didn’t need the assistance of two reps at the same time. I asked if they had PS4 controllers and they said no. Much like the rest of Austin right now. He offered to order me the only one available online but I declined.
This location would be good if they always had the items I need when I go. But, for about 2-3 times going into this location they don’t have the Phillips Hue lightbulbs and now they have been out of the GE lightbulbs as well

Typical tech business being operated by millennial kids that have 0 desire to help a customer. I walked around the store 4 times looking for the car audio section. It’s a weird layout so it’s not in back corner like most others. Walked by a group of 5 people in Best Buy shirts staring at their phones and talking about the party last night. They didn’t make attempted eye contact or even notice me standing 10 ft away starring right at them with a look of bewilderment. Then after throwing something at them someone turned around like it was so inconvenient to point at the car audio section instead of walk me or and help me find something. I guess his story was more important. I’m going elsewhere to spend 3 grand. Thank you Best Buy for showing your stripes.

Extremely disappointed with BB - they have no problem selling expensive appliances that arent available, all while making promises they cant deliver on. We visited this store at the end of May to purchase an entire kitchens worth of appliances. We were made aware that due to manufacturer delays, some products would not be available or were backordered. We understood and purchased products that we were told were available including being upsold to a dual fuel range (at an extra $1500) because the gas range was backordered. Well come delivery day, I waited around for four hours (with a newborn and a toddler) in our unfinished, construction zone house. Once the delivery window passed, I called only to find out that BB would not be delivering anything because the range was backordered UNTIL JANUARY!!! Not only was I not updated on any delays, I actually received a call the night before that the delivery would be occurring as well as an email confirming the delivery. This has been a complete waste of time and money. The failure to communicate the delays, as well as the cancellation of the delivery, and the lack of consideration of their sales people is why I will no longer be supporting Best Buy for further needs. We are cancelling our order and taking our business and money elsewhere.

Was directed here by Apple support for iPhone service. Geek Squad said phone needed to be replaced, verified there was no damage to the phone, charged me $100 and said the new phone would be there in 1 or 2 days. 2 weeks later, after many calls, I went to store and was told the phone was still being worked on at the service center. Dispute having the phone in my hand they still said it was at the service center.Went to Apple store and was told Geek Squad had charged us $100 and used one of my incidents saying I had broken the phone. Apple replaced the phone on the spot because it was still under warranty, and restored the incident that Geek Squad had used. Now I have to try to get my money back from Best Buy. Do not go here for iPhone support.

MASSIVE WATER LEAKThis is not about the product but about Best Buy delivery. We had a washing machine delivered and set up by Best Buy. It was not 10 after in the install crew left that our house was flooded (this was on a Saturday) The washer was improperly installed. We immediately called Best Buy and asked for help. Although they put in a claim they offered no help in the water extraction. They just said the adjuster would call next Monday or Tuesday. I said what about the water, it flooded our laundry, kitchen, breakfast and dining room. Their response, the adjuster would call Monday or Tuesday. The installer, whom I now know works for Best Buy as a sub contractor did come back and properly setup the washer but made no offer to clean up the mess. Best Buy said the installers are independent and that Best Buy was not responsible. The installer made no offer to have a water extraction company come and clean up. WE WERE JUST LEFT ON OUR OWN. GOOD LUCK. Called our insurance but they said it would remain a claim on our homeowners insurance. So we did not do that. We had to find and hire, on our own, an extraction/repair company. JUST WATCH OUT. TELL BEST BUY THAT YOU NEED THE INSTALLERS INSURANCE BEFORE ENTERING YOUR PROPERTY.

Ok so we walk into Best Buy, we are 45 minutes nobody to help us we have to approach the Best Buy associates and interrupt their nice conversation to try to switch carriers but that didn’t work. So exploring the store to purchase other items. After no help we get approached by a person in a black shirt to tell my husband to put his mask over his nose because it slipped off!!! Are you serious, and he walks away not even asking if we needed help. This is why we shop at Amazon!! Better prices and better service!
Eric at the online order pick up counter is AWESOME! I had a problem with my order and he went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me. The problem wasnt resolved in a timely manner but it was a system problem. I wouldve normally been upset but Erics dedication to awesome customer service changed everything.
Good customer service, employees are great, I bought a $400 phone and paid $120 for 2 year insurance and when I brought it in after dropping it in the lake by accident at work, GeekSquad said Ill get a new one in the mail in 7 days even though they had my new phone on the shelves of the store and then they didnt even take my phone... I have to ship it in myself after getting the new one. Crazy idea of insurance, Walmarts insurance plan is better and cheaper

Also most of the staff seems to be Apple groupies which is fine, but I expect them to have some knowledge of android products if your job encompasses educating me on what product could best fit my needs rather than preaching Apple.
Went in to buy a refrigerator, really good selection and the salesperson, Isaac, was very knowledgeable. Got an education in dishwashers and sound bars while browsing. Just fun store to look around and get some neat ideas.

I went online and saw that I could get a network switch from them via next day shipping, so I chose them over Amazon. Two days after the order was supposed to get here and I can only see that the status is showing an error and it’s pending. No other info. So I reach out to the help support chat and they are not very helpful but finally say it’ll be there in 24 hours. Again, nothing the next day so I reach out again and they say it’s going to be 2 more days. I call the store directly and nobody answered so it forwards me to corporate, they forward me to a call center. The call center tells me it’s going to take two more weeks. OH and btw, there is no option to cancel or refund. Bunch of thieves

From a helpful appointment to pick out what I needed to an installation that was easy to schedule, quick, and convenient, Will was an absolute gem to work with. I was disappointed with my experience at Best Buy today. I always purchase my personal and business computers from Best Buy.Today, no one greeted me, no one offered to help in any way. I stood in in front of the computer checkout area and then the staff member did not even acknowledge me and left the area to assist another team member.After waiting 5 minutes, I left. I will be finding a new place to purchase all my computers from. This is Texas, if not even one staff member acknowledges you, there is a hospitality deficit. My money goes where the deals are great and the staff want to help you. I will not hunt down your staff to spend my money.Side note: The computer I would have purchased at Best Buy was $20 cheaper on Amazon. I guess their poor service did save me money, hence the three stars.
This review isn’t on the store it is because of our delivery. We had a refrigerator, washer, & dryer delivered. The contractors left the plastic wrapping on various areas of the refrigerator. Then delivered the WRONG washer & dryer. The guy insisted that for them to install our washer our drip pan must be disconnected. When disconnecting it, he cracked our drip pan. Then several hours later once he returned with the correct washer & dryer. We suggested he put the washer before the dryer to make it easier & the guy ranted about how he must do it his way. Doing it his way got them stuck in our utilities room and we had to move things around. It wasn’t a pleasant experience working with these low IQ contract workers.
There curbside is one of the best I’ve seen. Always organized and quick.
DO NOT BUY DURING COVID!!! We spent several thousand dollars on a top of the line kitchen appliances to replace all of ours. We were very excited. It’s been months of delays, broken promises, missed deliveries, defective appliances out of the box, multiple failed installations rendering our kitchen unusable, and no resolution from Best Buy. We continue to be in limbo for months, and have been to the store multiple times to discuss resolutions with management because nobody will answer the phone when you call. Save your money.

We bought and had installed a stove from Best Buy in our rental house. The Sunset Valley store technician installed it, and yesterday I found out that our tenant tested Covid positive. I immediately tried calling Best Buy as the technician would need testing.There was no way to get through to the Sunset Valley store. Absolutely no way.Appalling and dangerous during these pandemic times.
