Terrible customer service. Last time I scheduled an appointment online for a sunday, I showed up and there was a handwritten sign on the door that they were closed. This time I tried to call ahead and they answer the phone and only put you on hold and then never come back.Which makes sense when I showed up and found there was only one guy working in the front. Long line of customers, took me 30 min to drop off the car for the appointment I had already scheduled, and the whole time the guy is putting people on hold and never coming back to any of them because hes so busy helping people in the store.He was rude, or maybe just frustrated with how busy they are and not enough employees to deal with how much work there is. No name tag. Told me car would be ready in an hour to hour and a half, so I show up two hours later and its still not ready. So now I have time to write this review.It is a cheaper oil change than competitors, using a promo code, but you obviously get what you pay for. I only hope the quality of their work on the car is better than their customer service. Ill probably choose to pay more and go somewhere else with better customer service next time.

I had a blowout to my Right front tire on Saturday evening and came to NTB on Sunday morning feeling anxious, stressed and worried. Being a Sunday, I knew these guys were gonna be booked all day. Corey, at the front desk lobby, put me at ease and told me he’d get a new tire put on for me. As I waited in the lobby, I observed him interact with patrons as they came in . This guy is great and has Stellar management skills. Please ensure he gets the recognition and admonition he deserves. Thanks again Corey .

Anthony is the Man!After having issues with a different NTB I called this location and was blessed that Anthony answered. I explained my situation to him to which he advised me if I was unable to get the necessary service I needed to at my current NTB that had my car sitting he would help. He went above and beyond in calling the other store to see what the issue was in getting my service done. The other NTB did get my vehicle done and made things right. Needless to say I only be going to this location for future service!

EVERY one of these stores Ive dealt with have been sub par. Went to drop off a tire with 4 hours to have them fix at their leisure and they said they were too busy. I see a lot of young kids standing around. These stores need better management.

Interesting please read! Want to start off by saying Anthony is very rude and highly unprofessional. He was not willing to help and did not communicate with his employees about the services needed on my moms car.We dropped off her car at 11 am for a brake check, oil change and tire rotation. We were not sure if we wanted the brake pads replaced yet or not so we were informed Anthony would call us to confirm or deny the service. Within the hour he did contact us and we denied the service since it was not required. Now we had taken two cars and were running errands while the car being serviced was at NTB. After about 3 and a half hours we returned to the building expecting all the services to be complete. Upon arrival we were greeted by another associate who said the car was not done yet. He did not know what was going on with the car and neither did the mechanic. Anthony was nowhere to be found. They immediately pulled the car back for the oil change and started working on it while we sat with perishable groceries in the waiting room. The mechanic then pulled the car back out and we found out they did not complete the tire rotation. He pulled the car back into the shop and completed it, apologizing profusely. He and the other associate helping us both stated they had no idea what was going on with the car. Anthony was still nowhere to be found during this whole process and only appeared again to charge us for the services. He never once apologized for not completing the services in the FOUR hours we were gone and did not communicate with his own employees. If I could rate a single employee I would give Anthony a zero out of five. Thank you to the mechanic and other associate who properly helped us out.

Ill give you $1 if you can call and not get put on hold. Ended up going in and guess what? They werent busy. The employees here clearly dont want to be there and it shows.

What a pleasure doing business with Wes and his team. I called just after opening on a Sunday and Wes told me if I got there soon, he could get brakes and tires done by the end of the day. I arrived just after 11 and left just over two hours later. Fantastic! Easy process, no high pressure sale just good old fashioned good customer service. Ive been a loyal NTB customer for almost 20 years and this is just one more reason why.

I took my sister here because it was down the street from where her car was stranded, horrible experience. The workers were impolite and not customer friendly. After my sister purchased a brand new tire for $70 we took it back up there to get the rim put in. They gave us such a hard time! Initially said they were too busy I explained it was owed to us because we had just purchased the tire. He agreed and said he could do it quickly. After waiting 5 minutes I was told to move into a parking spot by another worker.. I did as asked. When the tire was done the worker was not willing to bring it to my car. He stood there and motioned for me to go and grab the tire. I was so upset that I had to carry my own tire back.Discount tire values their consumers much more and makes it as easy as possible. I will never recommend NBT to anyone. I’d rather pay an extra $10 for a better customer experience as a women.

The manager Anthony was very polite and a big help. They got my car in and out in no time. Ill definitely be a returning customer!

Was called at 6:25 that tire was ready and they were open until 7. Showed up at 6:42 to pick it up only to find the place was closed! Wasted time and money.

They do not even deserve 1 star. I had an appointment today at 4:30pm, confimed via email a few days ago, took time off from work to be able to drop the car off on time but only to find the place closed when I got there. The reason closed for cleaning. They did not even bother to call or send notifications out to let customers with appointment know that a reschedule was necessary. When I called I got transferred to the nearest store who offered to check IF they have the 4 tires I needed install in stock, however that store would have been too far out for me. Did not even offer a sorry or anything. Really poor customer service. Very Very disappointing. Will never get services at any NTB again and will definitely not recommend it either.

Today I stopped at National tire and battery location. The mechanic Joseph was very knowledgeable with my vehicle. He was very friendly as well and was honest. The staff inside along with Kevin the Assistant manager we’re also very kind. I definitely give this place a five star

The service is fast and friendly, I didnt have a problem getting in and out in decent time. The staff are not high pressure pushers or arrogant know-it-alls. I trust them because I get the feeling that they are trying to help me get what I want. The service manager Kevin is really friendly and helpful: he made sure that I got the oil filter(closest to oem) that I wanted. The mechanics at this location are skilled and fast. The mechanic Tyler was very thorough and clear about presenting my brake pad options. He got me exactly what I wanted and I couldnt believe how quickly they were installed after that! I highly recommend this shop.

These guys do good work. Trust me, Ive worked this industry before so I know how it is. Every shop has its good crew and its bad crew. This NTB has gotten my van in and out quickly with no issues the last 3 times I have brought it in. their lead tech is honest and will let you know what needs to be done without pushing any sales. I just had my car aligned and it rides great... after doing all the suspension work myself at home, they didnt give me any trouble for that and got me out of there in less than an hour. would recommend this shop for sure.

People here were most helpful. Needed a state inspection. All service people were wearing masks. Assisted me also with replacing battery.

I left NTB (13248 US N HWY 183, Austin TX) about 30 minutes ago after waiting almost two and half hours for an oil change and tire rotation. I set an appointment on Friday, 17 February 2017, because I was informed that they could not see me then. The only reason that I went to NTB Friday is because I tried to get my oil changed at another establishment but it was recommended that I go back to NTB because my oil drain plug had been stripped by them during my last oil change. The appointment that I set up was for 1:00pm on 20 February 2017.; called at 11:50pm to see if I could come in earlier and they recommended that I come in at my schedule time (1pm). I came in at 12:50 and checked in (10 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment); I was not informed that there was a delay. At the hour and forty-five minute mark I looked back in the bay and saw nothing being done to my car (given this was only an oil change and tire rotation with replacing the drain plug that I verified they had on hand). At the two hour and ten minute mark I check on the status with one of the gentlemen at the front desk; I was then informed that nothing had been done. At that point, for the record, they did apologize and offered to perform the service(s) at no charge, but nearly two and half hours had passed. I declined and asked if I could have the replacement drain plug (which they gave to me). I recommend that this business obligates the appropriate amount of staff for the business they have coming in, or at minimum, inform the customer if there is a delay in order to us to manage our expectation. That is not asking too much. it is a good gesture to offer the service for free due to their oversight, but it is better to employee preventive maintenance. Alfonso Brown.

These guys are the best I just bought a truck that day it needed tires. I called at 7pm they said come on we will fix you up got there at 7:25 pm they put four tires on my truck and did a super job even washed the white letters on the tires. I am super impressed they have my loyalty.

The guys were great and had a matching set of 2 tires same brand and all that i already had on the suv. They changed out the pair o the front due to a flat and able to prorate them for the best price possible on them.

Ive had several experiences at this location and could not be more impressed by their professionalism especially Clayton Alex and Nathan. Their hard work and dedication to make sure everything is perfect & you get taken care of as soon as possible. I recommend making an appointment prior. Now the work on your vehicle may take time but would you rather have someone rush through the work or take the time to get right the first time to ensure you wont have to come back. I choose the ladder! Any other place you may go will make wait but at least waiting here theres a clean womans restroom and everyone is nice and courteous and are willing to work with you if you dont have a bad attitude. TO MAKE IT EVER BETTER, BIG PLUS THEIR VENDING MACHINE TAKES CREDIT CARDS!!!!! Total signing bonus 6 stars if I could I will never take my car or truck anywhere else!!!!!!

We came in at 7:24 when they closed at 8, and they happily helped us!!! The manager Kevin was courteous and made sure we were taken care of! They had four tires on our car in less than 30 minutes! Such great customer service!

Definitely would recommend coming here! Went to both of the Firestone’s down the road and they wouldn’t even let me tell them what I needed before they said they were to busy. NTB let me right in and had my tire balanced before I was done talking to guy at the front. Great customer service!

My Fiance took her car here for an oil change and tire rotation. Anytime we take our cars in for a tire rotation, I mark them with a sharpie to ensure they are rotated. When her car was ready she checked the markings and sure enough the tires were not rotated (I was not with her). She went back to the counter to let them know that they were not rotated and the service provider did not apologize for the oversight. He took her keys and walked off. Please be careful. We will not be returning due to the obvious lack of service and care.

I am so grateful for the care and professionalism I receive from this particular NTB location. The staff is friendly and they really know how to fix all types of vehicles! I have 3 cars at my house and I bring them all here. I especially love being able to make an appointment online. Thank you for your wonderful service!

My heart sank when the check tire pressure light came on in my vehicle as I knew it wasnt because of a change in temperature. The friendly knowledgeable guys at the NTB were wonderful. I left with 4 new tires and did not feel like I had been pressured to purchase them. Thank you Josh and Kirk for good conversation and expert advice.

In response to the owner: what more is there to say. Look at the invoice and fire the thief.Update: Lambs Automotive quoted me $60--still expensive but not unethical.I broke off a lug nut (as in one, singular lug nut,) while removing a tire to do some work on our 2008 Honda CRV this last weekend. I asked my wife to get some quotes on replacing the lug nut. NBT quoted her $248.88 in labor--including 1.9 hours in labor. Its a 30 minute job at the most with a lift and power tools. I guess they thought they saw a willing female victim and decided to take advantage. Not today boys. This experience says a lot about this place I think. Excellent service. Very friendly. Explained everything that was done, and gave me options. Have been extremely pleased every time I have come into this store. No bad/questionable experiences. Excellent lead alignment technician- Greg! NTB is also open on Sunday, which is great when traveling, if you need them. Always compare prices for the very best deal.

I go to the one on 183 and theyre always busy, but thats a good thing. Use your common sense when you go there it doesnt take minutes to do that kind of work. I do a lot of my own auto work at home so it takes a lot for me to trust any place. Ive checked on there work, Im very satisfied.

Great shop, I was very pleased with my visit from start to finish! I came in needing an oil change and air filter replacement, and had booked an appointment through CarAdvise. Upon arrival there was some confusion about booking through CarAdvise, but Anthony was super helpful and patient, worked out all of the specifics, and viewed it as a great learning experience while remaining polite and professional the entire time, all while assisting other customers and providing that same level of stellar service. Even before my discount was applied their pricing was incredibly competitive, and I could not be happier with how my car is performing. I walked in at 3:45 pm and was back on the road before 5 pm, which was impressive to say the least. Overall an awesome experience! If youre looking for an honest shop that wont give you the run around and will work to ensure your satisfaction, this place is it!

Was a little apprehensive coming here due to the reviews. Once I came in, I was greeted in a timely manner. I made an appt. online, Mr. Carroll was very efficient in helping me and getting me a new tire. A guy who had clearly just got to work, got right on the computer and helped out as well with a great attitude. I was very impressed and grateful for their hospitality. These men are busy and understaffed and still managed to help me. Have patience with them. Thanks guys.

Very honest person came out to check the tires I was looking to buy, he said that manufacturer does not make the brand i was looking for.

I have had to visit this place 4 times in a month to get my tire fixed. They plugged up a slow leak the first time that didnt work. I brought it in a second time for repair and they assured me it was fixed. One week later my tire was flat again. I called a third time and spoke to the manager, Anthony, and told him I needed a new tire. He assured me they had my tire in stock so I set up an appointment. I get to the appointment just to find out they in fact did not have my tire and wouldnt be able to get it until much later....so I had to set up yet another appointment.This is my first experience with NTB, and it was a horrible one. The manager is rude and I even overheard employees talking badly about him, so now I understand why. It doesnt appear they listen or are concerned about their customers. Avoid this place!

After going to a rip-off (Joshs Used Tires in Cedar Park) and getting a bad tire at a bad price I ended up going to NTB for Two New Rear Tires. Vincent was extremely helpful and provided excellent service and they had my tires on in no time at all! They even did a checkup on my car at no extra cost and I went ahead and had them replace my air filter because it was clogged. They also went over a list of maintenance recommendations and gave me quotes on things like alignment and new shocks. I dont need these things done now but I will definitely take my car back to NTB to get them in the future. Thanks for your excellent service, quick delivery and friendly atmosphere NTB, keep up the good work!

I always go to the shop for repair and maintenance. They do quality work and charge less than Firestone which I went regularly before. I stopped going Firestone as they charge significantly more.Also they have good price tires.

Went in to get an alignment after my mechanic had installed new tie rods. They got it done in 25 minutes! As I was leaving I noticed the VCS Traction Off light was on so I went back. Anthony D., the manager on duty, spent an hour figuring out what happened and got it fixed by resetting the ODB2. This was above and beyond and thank you so much, Anthony!Message to the owner: This man is eligible for a raise or bonus. :-)

Theyre one of the only tire shops open on Sunday which is helpful when you have an emergency and everyone else is closed that day, and the staff is courteous and helpful. They also do free tire pressure checks regardless if you bought tires there or not. However, their pricing is consistently much more expensive than other shops so I would definitely compare quotes before blindly going with NTB for your tire needs.

Ive been to many shops over the years, and I usually have the feeling that theyre trying to pull the wool over my eyes just because Im a female. Not the case here, I know I got exactly what I needed and nothing I didnt. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I highly recommend!!

Absolutely a terrible (and on going) experience @ NTB. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation and the Jeep just leaked oil non stop immediately following. I took the vehicle back to the shop to share findings and they then replaced the O ring around the filter. Jeep STILL leaked after that. Went back a 3rd time and was told this isnt a diagnostic shop, all I can do is change it again. I went to an off road shop who said they damaged the housing altogether and it needed to be replaced. 3 Weeks later and NTB has REFUSED to pay for any damages and Customer Service @ the Corporate office has been NO help. Needless to say I will never return to NTB.

Decided to review this place because I am pleased with the way they handled service. Front desk people were friendly and explained things. Didnt encourage me to get a few options that would probably have been over the top for my needs. One part they found that was broken they brought out to show me, as is apparently common practice there. My main point being that as someone who knows little about cars, I felt like I could trust what they were saying. Did take significantly longer than predicted to get the vehicle out though.

Ok, brought car in for brake check because of shaking when braking, NTB says I needed brakes and rotors all 4 brakes, and tie rod. Was not sure if I could do it then so I got an oil change. Next day I brought it in to a different place . They said I needed to replace the tie bar, and the front tire rim is bent . The brakes and rotors are Perfect! So I saved nearly $1000.00 by getting a second opinion .car works great one tiered and fixed the rim works perfect.I NO LONGER THIS LOCATION.

I went to this location at the end of January to get new tires they broke two of my tire pressure sensors and tried to sell me new ones. Long story short I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau after a month they finally agreed to fix the part for free, I went to a different location because I didnt trust the people at this location. Come to find out when they finished with my car the person told me that my tire pressure sensors werent even broke it was just missing the stem. So this location basically tried to hustle me out of $130 for parts that werent broke I suggest you go to the location in Round Rock if you choose NTB.

Went in to check a slow leak on my tires after the cold weather moved in. They reminded me I was past due on my included balance and rotate as well as alignment. They fit it all in then and I was out in an hour. Great customer service.

Called in response to an ad I saw on TV which stated buy two get two free. Price I was quoted was equal to the normal price at the Discount Tire down the street from me. When I ask how that could be possible the person I spoke to on the phone said that I had to pay mount and balance on all tires and that tire alignment was mandatory. Then he told me with the kind of vehicle I had I would have to drive to Hutto for the wheel alignment. Same old nonsense. It should be law that you must be able to read the small writing on TV ads. Very deceptive.

Knew my tires needed some attention before I could take a road trip, but didnt have a lot of time. Turns out, I showed up during a tire sale, but thought Id be out of luck with the time needed to put new tires on my vehicle. The team of people at NTB told me not to worry - theyd get it done and get me on the road. They DID! I was in and out quickly with a new set of tires and a smoking deal to match. The service was friendly and professional. Ill be sure to give all of my automotive maintenance business to this crew in the future!

Excellent customer service. My brake job was going to take a while, so one of the employees drove me home and picked me back up when my car was ready.

NTB was willing to look at my runflat tire with a nail in it. They were unable to fix it, because the puncture was too close to the sidwall, but at least they were willing to try without charging me. They put protective wraps on my chair, floor and steering wheel, which I appreciated.I ended up getting the tire replacement from the dealer, because it was a bit cheaper, and the dealer had the tire in stock. Lots of mixed reviews, so read them all, but my experience was easily worth 5 stars.

Any and every time Ive been to any NTB needing a tire patch, theyve done it for free. Additionally, because a family member is a repeat customer, they would even add my vehicle to their account for tire purchases, maintenance, etc. I repeatedly asked, as my work vehicle often would get nails and screws from traveling to different neighborhoods.Im guessing today they just really needed a new account and $31.22. Well, theyll get that. And that will be all. Ever.

Woke up this morning to a flat tire! Ug! We always take our cars to NTB for regular maintenance and tires and theyre always dependable, affordable and fast. I needed a new tire. They thoroughly explained what happened with my old tire and why I needed it replaced. I was in and out from start to finish inside an hour! Great folks at NTB! Thank you!

They do shoddy mechanical work, here. Dont trust them when they recommend you to replace your battery. Get it tested elsewhere. Tires is about all I can recommend you get from here. Id say an oil change is okay, but who the heck knows what theyre doing in there when youre not watching.

I was in a dire situation and needed help with my vehicle that day. NTB was closing soon but the employees saw that I was in need and helped me anyway. They stayed after hours to ensure that everything was properly taken care of. In addition to this, I never felt like they were taking advantage of my lack of automotive knowledge. They gave me clear cut and direct information. Josh, Ryan, and Deko were so kind and helpful. I cannot sing their praises enough! Their service will make me a returning NTB customer.

Came here to get a tire patched but didn’t have my lug nut key. Kevin was extremely helpful and even found a matching key and gave it to me. After a long day going to different places with no luck, this place was a huge relief!

These guys prey on unsuspecting people. This happened about 1 to 1 and a half years ago.Ive been here twice. First time was to change my oil with a coupon -- just a normal experience, although I feel like it took a little longer than most places.The second time I was told that my engine is cracked and leaking engine oil everywhere, and there was not even any oil in my engine, and that repairs were going to be around $500. Ok?I decided to take it to my dealership for a second opinion/have them fix it because I knew theyd be cheaper. Guess what? The dealership told me I had absolutely NO PROBLEM with my engine oil tank. They pulled this problem out of thin air thinking that they can get away with it because Im just a girl. BEWARE.

Called ahead to receive service to patch a tire, and was given the green light to bring the car in. Got to the store in less than 30 minutes and was told upon arrival they could only patch the tire but not put it back on my car when fixed. If you dont have enough staff to finish all jobs why did you tell me to come to the store?! I asked for a 5% discount since they werent technically completing the job by not putting the tire back on and was told no since they dont technically make a profit on patching tires. I left and took my car to Walmart for $10 where they actually complete a job! FYI NTB charges $31 for a tire patch...I am no mathmetician but that sounds like a $21 profit based off of surrounding competitor prices. What a joke and waste of my Sunday visiting these clowns.

They gave me a dishonest quote! Told me my rotors couldnt be machined etc....went to Brake Check and got the job done for about $200 less!Not trustworthy at all!

From all the reviews that people have suggested, they are completely right. I used to work at NTB on Howard Ln and the one on 290 and 71. I worked at this store for 24hrs and quit after that. Employees there are a joke and are there just to get a paycheck. There lazy as all get out. There is one mechanic there that used to work at the one on Howard Ln he is the only one that does work around there. The sales reps dont know anything about basic mechanic work that needs to be done to a vehicle, so please do your research before a sales rep rips you off at this location. Customers are having to wait sooooo long due to the employees are not getting paid by commission any more, just hourly. So they dont give a f_$!. If you need work done to your vehicles, just go to another NTB.

I came here to get an oil change a couple of months ago but when I had a friend check the oil that same day, the oil was filthy. Came in yesterday to get my tires rotated and air pressure checked before driving out of town. Imagine my surprise when the tire pressure low light came on while driving. Serves me right for not learning my lesson the previous time. This place needs to rethink who they hire because they are creating unsafe driving conditions.

NTB is the worst place to go for tires and especially dont go for an alignment. Discount Tire will save you time and money. Most importantly it will save you time. Did I mention how long it takes for NTB to change a tire? Well go and find it for yourself if you have nothing better to do.
