Not bad, but not great either. Prices a little high. Service slower than expected. Minimal communication. They will sign you up for additional service appointments you didnt make. ...and they will offer to appraise your car so they can buy it off you while it is serviced.

I had 2 visits for repairs The first was a 1 star experience, very disorganized and unprofessional. I had a recall for airbags. Ironically, I had a recall on a Honda the week before. Night and day. My 2nd visit to AutoNation was for a repair and I had a much better experience. I will raise my 1 star review to a 3.

I went in to purchase a new key. A locksmith for cars on jollyville I called quoted me 189.00. I got my key at AutoNation for 38.45. the service tech was really nice and checked my key to make certain it worked. My key does not have a computer chip but I have to believe the dealership will be less than the locksmith I called on any key.

Horrible service. I was quoted $2,700 for a High Voltage Disconnect Relay that the warranty booklet says is covered under the Voltec Warranty for my 2017 Chevy Volt. The Service Representative, Dillion, couldnt explain to me why it wasnt covered and told me I had to call GM Customer Service. I asked him for the number for GM Customer Service and he told me to google it. Ive been back and for with GM Customer Service, which says the op code is covered under the Voltec Warranty, but they cant get ahold of the service department to get it straightened out. I just tried calling them to figure out why they werent answering and pressing 1 for the service department keeps putting you back to the main menu, which is the same experience the GM Customer Service had when trying to call them.Update: The day after I posted this I finally got a response from the dealership. This was almost a week after being told they wouldnt cover it and first attempting to contact GM customer support. They said that the manager found that the part was covered under warranty and they would cover it. It still took 3 more days to complete the repair and I was still without my car for over 3 weeks, and charged for the battery that they let run down while it sat running on the lot for a week before they even attempted to diagnose it. I asked for a loaner car but they said there was none available because of the car/electronics shortage. There was no other attempt from the dealership to make up for all the trouble I went through and lack of support. Even though I got my car back, they still deserve a 1 star review. Ill be looking for another service department and not buying another GM car.

I had AutoNation service my Volt for 45k miles service, new wiper blades, and a check engine light (Service High Voltage Charging System message). I thought I got a very good value for all the items I received - I was actually expecting to pay more, but fortunately the check engine light issue was a simple low-level coolant problem, and Autonation was honest about it and charged me very little to fix that. Chad was the service technician I talked to and he was fast, helpful and friendly. I will go back there again next time I need my Volt serviced.

The worst service I have dealt with in my life. Unprofessional, unorganized, uncaring.Short version: The staff could not care less about you or your vehicle. The management does not care to remedy any situations. The lack of communication between the staff is pitiful. Even if you go in person to rectify a situation, they will simply pacify you and pass off the responsibility to someone else instead of actually being a manager and handling a situation. They do not follow through on their word.I initially took the vehicle in due to some leaks in the turbo/AC unit.I took my car in to AutoNation on December 15th and was helped by Christopher G. Three days after they had taken in my car, it had not been looked at. I called and asked to speak to the service manager and reached the voicemail of Chris Flores. I left a review last month about how terrible the services were already going. I was later contacted by the ORIGINAL Chris thinking that I was in contact with the service manager. In this conversation I was told that I would be reimbursed for the Uber costs that were already racking up due to the long wait.I communicated with Christopher via text for the next couple weeks (yes, weeks) about the status of my vehicle. When I was finally able to pick up my vehicle, I made sure to mention the offer of reimbursement, where I was then told that they had sent in text that it was only up to $150. At the point of picking up my vehicle, I was over $300 in Uber charges JUST going back and forth to work and once to Walmart. I asked for proof of the claim that it was only up to $150 and showed that I had no such message. This is when it was revealed that the service manager that I thought I had been talking to was not even working with the company anymore. The actual service managers name was apparently Bobby. I left with my car and was told that someone would be in contact regarding the miscommunication over the Uber reimbursements. I hadnt heard anything so I went in person to the location and asked to speak to the general manager. When I explained the situation, he did not help whatsoever. He instead tracked down the service manager and walked away once the SM was found. This service manager had started two days prior to our meeting. Meaning that this was now technically service manager #3 that I needed results/answers from. I talked to him and was told I would get a full reimbursement as soon as possible. THREE WEEKS after getting my car back, I was finally contacted by someone about a check for $220 being available for pick up with no explanation on why it was $100 less than promised. I reminded them that it was supposed to be over $300 and the response I got was that I was welcome to contact the service manager. As if I hadnt tried multiple times.I asked for all communication to be continued solely through email so I had everything in writing. That was four days ago and I have heard nothing.

Shopping for cars is nothing I ever look forward to. And then, I started working with Haley at Autonation and realized that the car buying process can actually be really fun, informative, and surprisingly exciting! It is rare to find someone who has an internal drive for excellence and a work ethic that is client-centered and not commission-focused. Haley is a breath of fresh air. She has worked tirelessly to find the perfect vehicle for me and my family. She’s put up with a lot from me and somehow still found a way to get the deal done despite my very particular parameters. If you’re in the market for a new or used car, make an appointment with Haley. She’ll treat you with respect and fairness. I’ve officially changed my mind about the car buying process!

Have taken several vehicles there over the past few years. Making an appointment is a good idea. Pull right into the service bay and one of the team will come out to greet you. They do the basic maintenance up to more complex systems. Nice waiting area if you arent dropping off. Generally good with follow up when vehicle needs to be there for a bigger repair.

Decent pricing and relatively fast service for a dealer (1 hour oil change if you get there at 7:30AM with an appointment). Its nice that the service writers cash you out. Need to work on attending in coming customers, if you have a service writer in training you could have them doing that. Henna does a better job on attending incoming customers but AN has better pricing and is a more convenient location for me.

I want to start by saying this is my first Google review because my experience merits five stars. I brought my wife’s Tahoe to Autonation Chevrolet and worked with service advisor, Chad Lindeman. I won’t bore the readers with the service details, as this is a customer service review. Chard greeted me in the service area with a strong handshake and an honest conversation. He put me right at ease and continuously asked about wife’s needs for her Tahoe while working out the service details. Everything ran smoothly and Chad kept me updated from start to finish. Bottom line, Chad’s customer service was exemplary and we will definitely be coming back to see him.

Haley has been at Chevy for several years now which speaks volumes. Haley is a wonderful salesperson and works hard to get you into the vehicle you are looking for. Ask for Haley when you go to Chevy AutoNation in northwest Austin.🥳👩‍💻😀😎

Nothing but a good experience. This was by far one of the best car buying experiences I have had in a while. I had spent the better part of three weeks researching and looking at trucks and got hosed by most dealerships in the San Antonio area. Either the price of the truck was too high and they were unwilling to negotiate or they tried to jack my trade in. Not AutoNation. After a long Saturday afternoon looking at trucks in San Antonio, my wife found this awesome deal all the way up north Austin at AutoNation. We put in a call and realized we wouldnt be at the dealership until 630P, 30 minutes before they closed. A manager took the call assured my wife and I he would stay open within reason and then went out to the truck and gave us a quick rundown. If we decided to buy, everyone would stay late to take care of us. I got to the dealership at exactly 630 and within 30 minutes we had closed the deal. Everything was seamless from the price on the truck to the price on my trade. The salesman—Sean Greenwood—was outstanding. He had awesome customer service, was patient, professional, and did his best to accommodate what we needed. I would definitely go back and recommend this dealer. I know everyones dealer experiences are personal and different from one to the next but even after I bought the truck a trim piece flew off the bed liner. A quick email to Sean and AutoNation had the part ordered and installed in 48-hours. These guys were top notch and after driving up again from San Antonio to get the trim replaced, Sean offered additional customer service amenities that felt good as a customer to hear. Those things dont happen too often in a world where financial belts are tight and the bottom line has to be met. AutoNation and Sean Greenwood went out of their way to make our experience one hell of a deal.

Great experience coming in. Was a little earlier, and a walk in was ahead of me, but they met with me on time. While talking with a specialist the service manager came over, greeted me and asked about my visit.I talked a bit about my driving experience, recall service notice I found on the chevy app, and some other pain points for me. He did explain the reason for some issues I had, avoiding anything further, but I didnt press the point. I can on another visit if I feel its bad enough.Spent more than I planned to, but I understood I wasnt gonna get outta there for free. Held off on some services and wasnt given grief for it.Was given a shuttle ride back to my apartment, and although service isnt completeas of now, I think they went above and beyond for me as a first time Chevy buyer. Tony and Corey were great, friendly but genuine.

I had gone to a few other dealerships looking to replace my car. At each one, I had felt the customer service wasnt great. I was treated poorly by pushy salesman who just wanted to close a deal. I stopped by Autonation Chevrolet on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the staff! Mark the salesman was patient with any questions I had and was accommodating to all of my needs as a customer. Everyone at Autonation was incredibly friendly and honest during the car buying process! I recommend Autonation Chevrolet to all looking to purchase their next vehicle. I have even recommended Mark personally to a friend who was looking for their next car. Ill definitely be back to do future business with this dealership.
