I just had the most pleasant expereince with G A Automotive, although they were not able to fix my 2005 Mercedes converible top, Antares tried to find the problem and even called Mercedes to see if the last two mechanics had installed Mercedes parts. I appreciate honesty and will be back. Fred in the car when the top worked!

I highly recommend this place! Antares is very knowledgeable and reasonable. I was having some minor tire pressure and fuel cap issues with my vehicle and he helped me out. Definitely do not hesitate to bring your vehicle to these guys!

They made me prepay to replace 2 tires and he said he wasnt going to charge me labor just $77 per tire. He set this expectation, not me. Then after the job was complete charged me another $100! Shady business, DO NOT RECOMMEND. Will not go back to this place again.

Ripped me off on a brake job. Quoted me for labor on all 4 brakes, I even brought in my own parts. After completion they told me they only changed 2 of the 4 and that the quote was for 2! What!? I’d have to pay double to complete the job. Crooks. Oreillys recommended this place. Must be family or friends. Will not be returning.

This place charged me $120 dollars to roll my window up while it was raining outside. They didn’t fix the regulator they just rolled it up and disconnected it. They will rip you off

Antares is kind and honest. He does what he can to help find what is wrong with your vehicle without trying trying to push other work you may not necessarily need at that time. My car was a challenge to find the issue but we ended up solving the issue!

I could not be more pleased with this shop. They were honest and very helpful in explaining what went wrong with my Mazda 3. I was prepared to pay far more than I did, but they found the problem and it was relatively minor. Antares, the owner, is an honest intelligent man.

Amazing customer service - was 30 minutes before closing time and I needed an emergency battery replacement for very corroded terminals. I bought my battery at O’Reilly’s who recommended GA’s since they couldn’t get it off. While the place is not flashy, and kind of junkyard looking, they have the right equipment, knowledge, and caring - and the price was fair.Thanks Antares!

Don’t take your car here, especially if you are a young woman that looks as if you can be taken advantage of. I brought my car here last year to get the brakes fixed because I trusted the positive reviews and left with a broken ABS sensor. It was not broken before I got there and they probably thought that by breaking it they’d get more business out of me. They offered to fix it there (for a high cost of course) but I didn’t trust them at all for fear they would break something else and try to get even more money out of me. I still have not replaced the sensor because I do not trust a single mechanic in Austin now.

This location has 2 separate auto shops, and I highly recommend both. I initially went to them through a friends referral, and have now referred several friends myself. Both shops are very honest and good at doing a thorough job. They dont try to pressure you to do unnecessary jobs, and will tell you when something actually shouldnt be done since it might harm the car (such as a transmission system pressurized flush that many other mechanics will try to do).

I have had to take in my car and my sons car in for brakes and, belt and a malfunctioning window. They not only fixed them in one day but the prices was 3 times less than the dealership!!! I dropped the car off at night and picked it up the next evening. Im a working single mom so getting my car quickly and affordability is a huge plus!! The owner is very personable too. Bye Toyota dealership, you have been replaced!

Highly recommended!!!Ive been dealing with this garage for 2+ years, Antares is an honest man, he tells you what exactly your car need with affordable prices !They dont try to pressure you to do unnecessary jobs like flushing the engine with the oil change, like the other shops, which leads to engine failure. (Many shops push the customer to do unnecessary jobs just to suck the coustomers money.)Most of the customers that they deal with this place are long-time loyal customers!! Which indicate to the quality of this shop.Dont be fooled by the kinda messy office, your car is in good hands with Antares and his team.

I just had my car towed by G A Automotive and I am extremely satisfied with their services. Paolino came on time as promised and charged me an extremely reasonable and fair fee which was much cheaper than all the other quotes I had gotten from other wrecker/towing companies. I highly recommend them to anybody who needs towing services.

The worst. on three separate occasions they left tools in the engine compartment which then fell into the fans. forgot to connect the transmission hoses after replacing my transmission (i reconnected them). didnt finish putting things together for my cv joint when i drove off, the wheel collapsed, then he charged me for it. third times a charm. never again.

Spent allot of money with my 4runner still have same problem always charged for towing when it was there lack of knowledge of car repair they told me fuel pump was bad installed another still same problem called me and said gonna try this part they just throw parts on till its starts then that charge customer place of small business gives other small businesses a bad name there was always at there shop laughing in the background to there lack of automotive knolehg do
