This is the 5th or 6th time that I’ve used European Motorwerks to service my Mercedes and they did an awesome job as usual. Right tail light was acting weird and Eric diagnosed it quickly and had me in and out in one day. Prices are always better than the dealer so that’s a plus, but just feeling like they took the best route to solve the issue makes them the right choice for me. Highly recommend.

Ive had two stellar shops in the life of my beloved Z. In TX, Eric, Chris, Pat, Lauren and the gang are the only ones I trust with her. Ive driven my car on long road trips across to Colorado, California, and back, multiple times. When Im out in the desert in the middle of nowhere with no cell signal, I have to trust my car.With the numerous repairs European Motorwerks has done, theyve always nailed it. Super clear on exactly whats time-sensitive, and what can wait.Shes an older vehicle - 2003, and has needed some love over the years, included one very pesky engine gasket. The team at European Motorwerks got it done.When I first got her in 2013, I tried another shop that wanted to replace a bunch of extra stuff. No thanks. Im so lucky to have found European Motorwerks. Never has their integrity been called into question. Never have I worried that their repair hasnt been top-notch, because it is.And if theres ever any issue or even an inkling of an issue, they handle it. They even adjusted my window seal on work that was done by another shop (multiple times). They even helped me with some fun mods on my center console that I had done (free of charge). One of the techs, Pat, clearly loves vehicles (as they all do), and has mentioned some of the stuff he does on the weekends with vehicles. Passion doesnt even begin to describe.I work in aviation and design where every detail counts, and I love my baby, the Z. These folks are the only ones I trust with her. They get the job done with the best parts, every time.New location, same great Bimmer repairs. Ive tried other shops, Ive tried the dealership (sigh), and my Z and I have found our home.Look no further. A+++

I just want to pay my Respect to European Motorwerks & all the hard work they put into making sure my car got fixed. The insurance guys from Liberty Mutual were giving us a hard time with parts that would not cut it and all the employees at this establishment fought hard to make sure they didn’t cut me short of what needed to get fixed.

The staff is so accommodating and professional. They are straight shooters and always provide the best service at the best value. I have referred several friends who have had the same experience. I highly recommend European Motorwerks; theyre the best!

Whether youre local or out of town, I highly recommend European Motorwerks! Eric and team took incredible care of me, and what really stood out was they went out of their way to provide stellar service.Im based in California and was buying a used Porsche in the Austin, TX area. After a couple calls, I came across European Motorwerks to do a full buyers inspection to assess the current state of the vehicle. I could tell they had pre-existing knowledge of Porsches and their prices were more competitive.Despite their busy schedules, they drove out to pick up and return the car from the dealer, which was a HUGE ask on my part since Im out-of-town. They gladly did so, and were able to complete the inspection that same afternoon.Their work was very thorough and led to some key findings that enabled me to further negotiate the purchase price.TL;DR: Professional, timely, and trustworthy. If I was based in Austin, Id definitely be back!

I am really happy with my service at European Motorwerks. They were done quickly and didnt try to upsell me on a ton of other services. Mercedes tried to tell me I needed a bunch of things done on my car and I was ready to tell EM that I didnt want any of it done right now (since I barely drive - thanks Covid) but they didnt even try to upsell me. I really respect that and will definitely return (presumably when I need those things repaired lol). Also, the front desk was really nice and efficient when I called, a big deal because I hate the phone =)

Installed wrong part either on purpose or never even swapped the parts.Can’t get a call back on installing the correct part or any information on what was actually doneCheck engine light is back on for the same thing not even a week later

Chris, Steven and team were honest and great to work with. They got my vehicle serviced quickly and at a reasonable cost. Im definitely going back to European Motorwerks for additional services and would recommend them to anyone with a European car that doesnt want to get robbed by their dealerships service department. Plus, they only use OEM parts, are low pressure and wont try to sell you on anything that your vehicle doesnt need.

I will state the facts of my experience and let anyone reading the review decide the intent.1-After paying for my service (brake job), I noticed all 4 wheel covers were missing2 - I told the manager, I think you (they) still have my wheel covers, so could I get them back, he obliged3 - After the manager asked the mechanics about my wheel covers, two of them insisted my car was missing 2 wheel covers at the time I dropped it off4 - I called out the lie and presented a picture recent to the morning of the service showing all 4 wheel covers present5 - The manager returned to the mechanics after this picture was presented, and the mechanics were able to find a bucket with all 4 of my wheel covers.Regardless of intent, one should not have to document the state of their vehicle before having routine maintenance performed. I am glad I did, but I still need a shop that I do not feel the need to protect myself when working with them. This was the first and last time I use European Motowerks.

Sometimes, its a necessary evil to come here but its too expensive. ($1200 for a fuel pump replacement). Also, why do they charge extra for credit/debit vs cash? Its like an extra 10% if you dont have cash. Also, the employees dont wear masks in the lobby when customers are inside the lobby....thanks for the comment, but no apologies for not wearing masks?

These guys are Fantastic. What do you look for most with an auto shop?They need to know your car, how it works and how remediate issues and you must be able to trust them.Yes across the board. We take out Mini Clubman to them and we are completely satisfied.General maintenance to adding some zip to the performance, they know what they are doing.

They do great work! I feel confident as a woman to take my car there and get a fair price. They are quick and can get you an appointment within a day or 2.

I have been a client of the Central Court location since 2015. I own a 2002 BMW M5 with low miles. Recently I took it in for a ton of services. My M5 drives and feels better than the day I drove it home from the dealership. I consider the team at The Center location very professional and attentive. They certainly treat me better than the dealership. A big thumbs up.

Yesterday, 10/14/2020 I accidentally turned into the wrong lot from Burnet, instead of the one that would take me to FedEx. I continued forward for an exit or a turn around when an unmasked employee came out of the building (see dashcam screenshot below). Instead of letting me explain I made a mistake, or even asking if I was an existing or potential customer, he started screaming at me, accusing me of trying to park in his lot, and called me a liar when I tried to explain I was not. The man was extremely aggressive and would not calm down, I half expected him to start hitting my car.Dont seek business here if you happen to be borrowing a non-European car, you may get screamed at. And get a dashcam folks!

European Motorwerks is truly the best car repair group I have ever dealt with. I had a problem with my Porsche Macan. Brought the vehicle in to EM for the repair. They discovered the sensor needed to be reset and not replaced. So instead of charging me for something that was not needed, they reset it at no charge.

This shop is great. Theyre honest, friendly, and absolute experts at what they do. I drive a 2001 Mercedes and I have never been to a shop as knowledgeable and passionate about these cars as European Motorwerks. They took great care of my car and helped coach me through a laundry list of repairs. Thank you, Eric, and the rest of the team for all your help.

I was thoroughly impressed with my experience here. I brought my Lotus Evora in to have a new set of rear tires put on. I had originally called the Lotus dealership in Austin to have this work performed, and when I asked if they had loaners available, they said no, especially not for something as quick as mounting tires. Well, I showed up to the dealership to have my tires installed and the first thing the advisor asks is if I can leave it with him until next week... That wasnt going to work for me. I called around and most tire shops either wouldnt touch the car, or didnt have the equipment for installing low profile tires, or wouldnt install tires that hadnt been purchased from them.Out of sheer chance, I drove past European Motorwerks on my way to work that morning. The shop looked very nicely maintained and clean, like the sort of place where they take pride in their work, so I figured I would give them a shot. They had a great little cubicle set up in their waiting room for people to work from. I was fully prepared to work there while I waited for my car, but to my surprise, they immediately offered me a loaner and sent me on my way. Granted, the loaner was a BMW 3 series that had seen better days, and it maybe needed a bit of gas, but what a small price to pay to not have to wait around for my car all day, and wholly unexpected from an independent shop.The work was done by lunch time that day with no issues, and I had great communication from the receptionist throughout the process. Needless to say, Ive discovered the shop that will be doing all the service on my Lotus going forward!

I wish I could give this place more stars! They were extremely helpful and fixed my car in 5 minutes.There was something wrong with the seat recliner, and the man fixed it in less than 5 minutes and did not charge me for his services. There are some genuinely good people working here, and I will definitely be coming back!

I recently found this wonderful and professional auto business. They work on new as well as classic cars. I’m excited to find them and highly recommend this business for classic car owners. I think Bob & Chris enjoy working and fixing our classic cars as much as we do owning them. This business is great find. EXCELLENT experience! The car wash down the street had broken my driver seat so much so that I couldn’t move it forward to reach the pedals to drive. I pulled in near closing time (using some packages to prop my back forward) and was greeted by Lauren and Patrick. I explained what happened and Patrick proceeded to evaluate the seat motors. It wasn’t long before he found the part the car wash had broken. I was so impressed that he was able to reach under my seat of my Mercedes Coupe and not too long after make a repair that made my seat adjustable so I can drive it until the broken part comes in. If you’re looking for TOP NOTCH service look no further.

Everyone here is great! Chris is super helpful and accommodating and Bob is really friendly and thorough. I am admittedly a pain in the rear type of customer. They all took great care of me and I will bring all my cars here.

Not going back and I wouldnt recommend them.Pros: Staff were super friendly, showroom is really nice, and they have loaner cars to use.Cons: They broke my cardinal rule of auto mechanics -- they charged me for something I didnt need. Their warranty didnt cover any rework.Edit/reply: I went in a few months ago because the engine was making a strange noise. They charged me a few hundred to fix it. When I took it in a second time, they then said it was a part that had just been replaced.Ive been to a couple dozen mechanics and the experience just didnt sit right with me. Im sure theyre fine for routine maintenance on newer vehicles but they didnt troubleshoot mine effectively.

This is hands down the best place to take European cars in Austin. Ashley at the front desk is an excellent communicator and great to work with. Both of the owners are very friendly and down to earth. The mechanics are experienced and masterful in the application of their knowledge, both in diagnosing and in solving problems.If that wasnt enough, the prices are very reasonable given the amount of work they do and unlike most other places they wont nickel and dime you. Take your car here, you wont regret it!

I really love this shop! Ive always believed in taking my car to the actual dealership for service, but a number of reasons made me want to seek outside assistance. I walked into the shop one day and first of all the sweet gal at the front desk is always so helpful and kind. She introduced me to one of the owners and he walked me through some options for my car. I made an appointment and the work was done in a timely manner and at 1/2 the cost. They diagnosed an issue that Mercedes couldnt. I want the work done correctly and understand that there are parts/labor involved. All I want is a fair price and I get that at European Motorwerks!

Had a check engine light on and needed to pass inspections. European Motorwerks was able to see me and repair my Volkswagen the very next day. They listened to my needs and fixed only what I thought was necessary. They were honest and did not push other repairs. Efficient, friendly, considerate, and honest. This will definitely be my new go-to repair shop.

I highly recommend this shop, these guys are very professional with many years of experience and don’t beat around the bush. I have found my new shop and will only take my cars here from here on out. Best shop in Austin hands down.

Very Clean, high end European car service company. Great, and very courteous staff. I brought my car in to refill my engine oil level and they got me right in and serviced me free of charge. I would recommend this motor works company over any I have ever experienced.

What a really great experience from the beginning to the end. It started with Kelly the respectionsit she was really helpful and was accurate on the quote that I got for my battery replacement for my 06 BMW 330I which she broke down the options of batteries I had to chose from and what was exactly right for my car. Chris called me back with the quote as well he was great to work with as well which is one of the owners of this shop. This replacement of my battery worked out so well that the original quote they gave me which was $251 ended up being $236 so I actually saved money which is not too often on a BMW when it comes to any repair even a little one like this but still very important and to have it programmed as well! All in all everything was great and I would definitely go back when my car needs something else thanks again Kelly and Chris!

These people are AMAZING.Had run over a bumper in my Audi, and ripped the under part of my bumper off. Came in spur of the moment, they were able to fix it within the hour and it was extremely hassle free. Unlike other shops, they didnt try and charge me for unnecessary work they thought needed to be done. Informed me of potential problems with my car that my accident could cause.Were extremely nice, knowledgeable of my car and parts, and overall just great.Would highly recommend them to anyone!

I needed an oil change asap before a road trip and the local dealers service center wouldnt be able to get me in for two weeks. European Motorwerks got me in the day of and not only completed the oil change, but caught a leaking gasket that could have derailed the whole road trip. Theyve won my repeat business!

Chris, Eric, and all the techs at European Motorwerks-Domain have been nothing but helpful with the problems Ive ran into on several of my (and my familys) vehicles. I took my Mercedes e-class to Chris and Eric after issues with another shop doing a poor job with alignment. Chris walked me around the shop and showed me all the top of the line equipment and computers needed to properly work on luxury cars. I live south so I was prepared to go to a nearby coffeeshop for a few hours while I waited but they were nice enough to give me a BMW loaner car that was nicer than the one I drove in with!Bottom line if you have a luxury care and you understand the care luxury cars need this shop is HIGHLY recommended.-Justin

Customer service was terrible. I took my vehicle there, was told it would be done in “a couple of hours”, my car ended up being kept overnight with no communication. I called to check on the status of my vehicle 3 times (left voicemails) with no answer, I even drove up there and the shop was closed 30 minutes before the advertised closing time. I had to once again initiate the communication the next day to pick my car up and there was not even an apology or explanation to why my car was kept. Save your money and go else where.

Great, honest team that helped me diagnose and fix my 02 Golf. Being new to the area, I read these and Yelp reviews - definitely true. Would recommend. Only reason for 4/5 stars is the time it took to get in touch with the shop for an update.

Working with European Motorwerks was the worst customer experience I ever had. Poor communication and explosiveness of the business owner resulted in a disasterThis occurred in June 2019. For my own safety, Im not using my real name (Chris Stockdale has made threats over the phone when my car was in service and knowing that this company has my address, Im not comfortable sharing my name).I called to schedule tire work and discussed the work in detail with Chris Stockdale. I stopped by the day before the service to confirm all the work. Again, I discussed everything in detail. Apparently no one took any notes. When I dropped off the car to do the work at 8:30am, no one asked any questions and my car was supposed to be ready in 2 hours. After several calls to confirm the progress, at 5pm I was finally told that my car will have to stay in the shop over the weekend (I needed 4 tires and wheels installed and balanced, this should have taken less than 1 hour). When I complained that my car wont be done in time despite me calling many time that day and hearing that car was almost ready, Chris exploded with anger, shouted at me with profanities, telling me to pick up my vehicle with unfinished work (Shop workers somehow installed incorrect tires, immobilizing my vehicle with the wheels removed. Chris literally told me to hire a flatbed and have my car towed). No efforts to reason with him worked - he shouted, swore, and hung up on all of my calls. He forced me to purchase the uninstalled tires and go to a different shop to have them installed (he would not give me my keys back unless I paid for the tires that they didnt even install).It turned out that the tires that he recommended were too large and did not fit my vehicle. All in all, this cost me $450 of expenses I cannot recover.Although employees were friendly and eventually helpful, Chris Stockdale, the manager, was an absolute nightmare to work with. I would recommend anyone to stay far away from that business and explore other options in the area. One of the companys employees confirmed that this behavior is a pattern and I was the second customer subjected to such treatment in one week.Reason for this all was the they use the same phone number for Domain and Central location. When I called the number listed under Central location, I was connected with Chris. HOWEVER, when it came down to scheduling of the appointment, I specifically told the receptionist that I was coming to the Central location. I also went to the central location the day before my appointment to confirm that everything was ready (tires were delivered, etc.). Chris did not send his notes (i.e. my work order) to anyone so apparently the employees of the Central location had no idea what to do with my car (which is beyond me because I came to the store the day before and told them in detail what to do). No one also asked any questions. They just took my keys. When I called several times during the day to check if my car was ready for pick up, they never asked any follow up questions. Only when I finally went to the shop at the end of the day, the technician admitted that he was not given any instructions and he was guessing on what had to be done to the car. Mind blown.

I had no referral and only went on location and reviews online. European Motorwerks was an AWESOME experience. Not only did they solve the issue that I needed solved, but they went the extra mile by letting me borrow a shop car since my car was going to take a little longer than expected. They also gave me quotes for less serious issues that I had questions about. I was very pleased and will be returning as a regular should my car need any more work done.

I went to European Motorwerks to install a front splitter on my AMG and could not have been more satisfied with the quality of work. The splitter looks great and Chris and Eric were a pleasure to work with. Ill definitely be back in the future. A+++

Buyer Beware. Look at the Yelp Reviews...this place is known for performing unauthorized services then charging the client for it. When confronted, they become extremely rude and unprofessional. I dealt with Eric, who at first seemed to be a very nice and professional person. I needed new tires and to have my alignment CHECKED. I had previously had an alignment done at Mercedes of Austin and they did not do it correctly. I called Eric to see if he would match my tire prices. Initially he would not, so I cancelled my appointment. He then called me back and said he would. On the day of the service, my father, Eric, and I discussed on the service floor that we needed him to check the alignment and if it was off, we would take it back to Mercedes and have them fix it and that we DID NOT want to pay for 2 alignments. Eric agreed and said he would test it before and after the tires were put on. I assumed that this would be from a test drive, but no. When we picked the car up the next day, he had performed the alignment(WITHOUT CALLING AND WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION) and charged us $180. He was at lunch, so we called him and he was extremely rude. Raising his voice, denying the fact that he agreed to check it, etc. The only thing he kept saying is that oh, its cheaper than Mercedes, and now its perfect. So now Im out $380. We even asked him if we could just pay half of the actual alignment, and he would not budge on the price whatsoever. What makes it worse is that Eric is one of the owners. So please, if you do happen to get service done here, record your encounters with the service advisors. I will never come back here again. Its places like these that give service shops and dealerships bad rep.Please look at the reviews and note that every 1 star review has a response from the owner with Im sorry, we have no record of doing business with you. I honestly have no idea how some people have good experiences here, unless this is just a trick Eric and the other owners do occasionally when they need some extra cash and can pay their bills. Please someone get this place shut down.

We take our Audi here and I am never disappointed. They are always very up front with me about the cost and call me to notify me before they do any potential extra work. Ive never felt pressured in to anything and they are always very polite and respectful.

Great experience. I took my Audi A8 there and just got it back yesterday. The car feels just like the day I bought it. They were very knowledgable and professional. I got a loaner and it all went seamless, not to mention the hundreds that I saved from taking it to the dealership. I highly recommend European Motorwerks.

I got into a fender bender and my wheel well liner was dragging on the ground. I walked across the street to European Motorwerks and a friendly mechanic took 15 minutes out of his day to unscrew the liner and zip tie my bumper to make my car drive-able. Super helpful and didnt charge me anything. I think that says a lot about this shop!

Super clean, professional, and friendly. I went in for an oil change and they even cleaned all the cans out of my car which I actually feel really bad about because there must have been at least 50 individual empty aluminum cans in the backseat of my car that I had just neglected to clean out. But it was very much appreciated! Will go back for all of my car needs.

European Motorwerks did an outstanding job on my BMW. The quality of service and they way they treat their customers really makes doing business with them an overall great experience. It can be really difficult to find an auto repair shop that is trustworthy, Eric and his crew really care for the customer and are upfront and honest with your repairs.

The most honest place Ive come across in Central Texas to service my mini. They have maintained my car since the warranty expired. I will not take it any where else.

European Motorwerks is better in every way than the dealership Mercedes-Benz of Georgetown. The shop rate significantly lower than the dealership. The quality of service and customer service is top notch. They told be I didnt need the $1,2500 of service that I was told I needed by Mercedes-Benz of Georgetown.I am now a dedicated customer of European Motorwerks.

I recently acquired an Audi with a 3.2 direct injection engine. Its a great car but it has some unusual maintenance requirements for the intake valves. Its really only the sort of thing a shop with specialized equipment, training and knowledge can handle. After researching European Motorwerks via ratings I drove in, met with them and scheduled the work.Right away I could tell this was the shop to perform the service. They were immediately familiar with the issues particular to this car and had the correct service equipment to maintain the engine.Its time consuming work requiring the car in the shop for 2 days. European Motorwerks arranged a complimentary service loaner for me to drive while they completed the work.When the work was complete European Motorwerks sent me photographs showing the before/after in detail. Clearly the work was done correctly and expertly.The mechanics took the time to review the car and identify maintenance items and provide estimates for planning and scheduling.When I arrived to collect the car I was informed that there were some minor issues that were handled. A broken bolt was removed and replaced, a burnt out turn signal was replaced and broken bulb mount was glued. Its typical with estimated work for the actual costs to be +/- 15%. My BMW fell out of warranty a year back so Im been on pins and needles about the first major repair. Then it finally happened. My car started making some weird noise and my SES light came on. I immediately suspected the worst and began looking around for a shop. I called around and several shops seemed unqualified and others dishonest. By chance, I found European Motorwerks right before I was going to take my car to the dreaded dealer.I called Motorwerks up and they offered to squeeze me in that same day. I showed up and was promptly greeted (yep, no condescending attitudes here). They ran a diagnostic on my car and explained all the repairs needed in detail. Moreover, they explained which were absolutely needed and which can wait a few months. The fact they did that speaks volumes about the kind of people they are and the shop they run. Not only do these guys know their stuff, theyre honest and very fair about the work they do and the price they charge. Before you go anywhere else, take your car to these guys. You wont be disappointed.

The first time I went to this shop I had a good experience, and thats why I went back. The second time I had my car there Eric really blew it. I had to have my car towed there, once they did some diagnostics he called me with a quote and I authorized the work. When I went to pick up my car the bill was $150 more than I was quoted. The man at the desk got on the phone to see if Eric would take it off, but Eric told him that hed informed me of the total price when he called to let me know it was done. That was a complete lie: he never even called to tell me it was done, and certainly never told me the price he was billing me. When I spoke with him on the phone to ask him to charge me what hed quoted me he was rude, condescending, and kept interrupting me. He got caught in his little lie, and wouldnt budge or make right HIS OWN mistake. He even tried to put his mistake back on me by saying Do you think I should not pay my technicians for their time? Thats completely unfair: the only options to him for HIS mistake were me paying for it, or one of his technicians paying for it. If you go here, make sure you double, or triple check what your billing will be with Eric, and get something emailed to you if you cant be there, because if he forgets to include something that hes going to charge you for, you will pay for it, and he will not be a very nice to you about it.

I shopped around and these guys gave me the best deal. They were ready when I brought the car in, and gave me a courtesy ride to nearby Starbucks where I hung out until they fixed my car. Drives like new now (got the clutch replaced). The owner was a really nice guy with great attitude, I felt taken care of. 5* service. Will use them now for my BMW maintenance.

No nonsense people. Been looking for a shop to take care of my car for a while. Not taking it anywhere else but these guys.

I took my older beemer there to have some work done. Cooling system,power steering pump and lines and a couple other things. They refused to work on it because the inside of the car was dirty and had a little mildew from a window that wouldn’t close. They said they could maybe have it detailed for 500$. The guy who takes to me on the phone claimed to be the manager and said that it would indanger his mechanics to move the car into the bay maybe 20 feet away tops. As someone who has worked as a mechanic for many years I know that mildew in a car would be less dangerous to there health then all the exhaust fumes, gas fume, oil, coolant and several other toxic chemicals they’re breathing everyday. So If you’re looking to have work done take your car to German auto center where they have mechanics that aren’t scared to do their job.

If you have a quality European car, this is where you should go. BMW rips you off [so does Audi, VW and the rest] and other shops just do not have the expertise as European Motorwerks. The owner told me hes worked on BMWs for 12 years! The Audi special the same! Experienced, low cost and local, how can you go wrong?I absolutely love the work that they did on my 2008 BMW 328i. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, caring and respectful.They not only showed me exactly what was wrong with my car, they showed me exactly how I should prioritize the repairs. There just are not companies like European Motorwerks, they actually care about the customer and want to teach you so that youre not in the dark about your car.Excellent company, excellent management, excellent atmosphere. I will be back!

Eric and his team have been tremendously helpful with my baby. She has seen lots of wear and tear and they have always been quick to identify and tell me straight up whats an emergency and what is not. They have been prompt with service and helpful with their prices. And also really nice and attentive to my needs! Thumbs up to these guys! I trust them with this car since so many other businesses have actually caused damage rather than repair. If you have a European vehicle, dont trust anyone else in Austin!

I came to European Motorwerks knowing that there were a number of things wrong with my Volkswagon Beetle. They worked with me to get the things I needed done in time for the holidays, and even fixed an extra piece I didnt ask for. They gave me as good service as the dealership for a much less expensive price. I definitely recommend them and will be going back if I need more work done!

I drive a Saab, Im particular about who I let touch it. These guys were friendly, fast, and they know what theyre doing. I needed a headlight replaced, they didnt overcharge me. The owner was there and he even called Saab to ask about getting a back up key I needed. Above and beyond, will be back!

I have to leave a REVIEW for a place that I will most certainly return to, and can tell you that the service and customer service is the reason why I will forever recommend this great shop for my VW. I had an initial replacement cost from a local dealer and was appalled by the estimated repair. I brought it to the Werks, and they not only diagnosed the problem, but they gave me a money saving and time saving option, for a fraction of the price. Ashleys level of knowledge and professionalism should be noted and applauded as well, and she is one of the many reasons why I will be returning. I was really impressed with the service here. Eric and his team did a stellar job. As a Mechanical Engineer, I admittedly dont know a ton about cars and often refer to a buddy from MIT who worked at BMW corporate in Germany on the design team. Anyway, I went to these guys with my 03 Z4 (low miles - 72k, but I put on about 18 of those in the past 10 months) after getting the hard sell on an entire coolant system at another place, and the guys at European Motorwerks were extremely straightforward. Eric is a master tech who worked at the dealer for 15 years. The shop was honest and upfront about the process, and we decided to go part by part rather than replace the whole system.They spotted an issue that the other place had missed, but were careful to say that we could wait on it if we needed to. Completely the opposite of the treatment I got across town.Respecting my time, they were even nice enough to take it down the road to get my expired safety inspection sticker renewed. Its a shame that Im moving in 7 months - until then, you know where Ill be taking my baby.

Great team... from the service manager to the gentlemen who drove me to my office. When I forgot my briefcase in my car, they made a second trip to bring it to me at the office, then picked me up and provided a free loaner for the evening until the work could be completed the next day.Not only was Chris willing to provide me a comparative estimate over the phone, they came in a full $1,500 (33%) less than the original service center estimate... (all labor, the parts were the same recommended OEM parts)...Could not provide a better recommendation to anyone with a euro car in the Austin area.

I took my VW Eos in for a convertible top diagnosis. They had it over 6 weeks, and charged me 500+, and lied about the diagnosis. I would call to get an update and my calls would go unanswered and no return calls. Dont trust this shop

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! My fiance and I used to bring our cars to this mechanic shop all the time until they started taking advantage of us. They were up charging us for everything! They will NOT FIX your car right! You car will still have issues, they will add parts and up your fees without even consulting with you to see if its ok to add new parts or if u even have the extra funds to take care of those extra parts. They will surprise u when u come in with unexpected charges. Eric the owner is very Rude! His front desk receptionist has horrible customer service skills. Unfortunately, they dont have a corporate office where I can speak to someone higher than Eric. Basically, if u want to complain against this company u have noone other than Eric to speak to and trust me you WILL NOT get a resolution. I have read other reviews who have experienced these type of issues with The owner of this shop and all they can do is throw u attitude or put a mechanics lien on your car, why pay for something if they never ACCESSED the issue. They will put a lien on your car and u have no choice but to pay for a job that was never completed. Now here we are, leaving the mechanic shop $2600 down and it was not repaired. The car is actually worse then we initially brought it in! Take your car to Qualtech they are fantastic with customer service and have your car repaired at a reasonable price. I regret my fiance ever doing business with this company. They are based in Austin Texas by the Domain.Also, Im sure the owner is going to respond with some excuse to why it wasnt repaired. There is absolutely nothing the owner can say that will justify how bad they treated repeated clientele and how much worse the car is from our initial drop off. Please STAY AWAY! Im a business owner myself and I would NEVER treat my clientele like they have treated us. I will also be getting in contact with the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. This is unacceptable and I WILL NOT allow this company to do the same to other people.

I had a great experience with European Motorwerks, from quote to delivery.I was looking for 55K service on my Audi SUV, which included belt, oil, filters, and plugs. I got estimates from a variety of sources, including dealership, Pep Boys, and everywhere in between. EMW came in lowest, despite their marketing saying they focus heavily on Euro cars and billing themselves as a dealer alternative.So I go in 2 days later for an appointment, and lo and behold, theyre running a new customer special for 20% off service up to $100, so now theyve cut below anyones price by a wide margin, and Im thinking they must have issues retaining customers. I walk in, and its a beautiful entry area that resembles the Porsche performance center in LA, with a reception area, drinks, a work area with wifi, and a glass wall separating the lobby from the shop. Behind the windows are a bevy of different imports- I saw a really nice racing 911 on the lift, and that gave me some confidence. Then I look at the floor, and its painted white. Clean shop. Im hooked.After dropping off my car, they gave me a ride to work (wth?!) and then when I showed up EOD to pick up, Chris, the manager, came out and we just talked cars for a few minutes while the paperwork got put together. Hes a real enthusiast, and you can tell he has a passion for Audi/Porsche/VW group.Paid out, left the lot, and I guess I didnt realize just how worn my supercharger belt was, because the damn thing took off in comfort mode with a new one on it!Netnet, if the price wasnt right, I couldve gotten a new belt, oil, and longitudinal v6 plugs done anywhere (or at home if I wanted to take a day), but they beat the lowest price and I had a great customer experience. If (when) I have more complex issues, Ill definitely be coming back.Only thing I would recommend in the future is to tell customers when booking of the surcharge levied for credit card processing when you schedule service; I would have brought a check if I had known in advance.

I am a new customer to European Motorwerks and I couldnt be happier. I have taken both of my cars there in the last couple of weeks and have been met with very professional, friendly and knowledgable crew. Yesterday, I called in a panic after losing my diamond wedding band in between the seats of my car. I dropped off my car and they said they would call when they got it out. Within 30 minutes I received a call from Chris that my ring had been found! I cant thank them enough! Honest, friendly, professional people at European Motorwerks! I cant recommend them enough! THANK YOU!!!!

With July 4th right around the corner, and my car continuously dying, Mercedes-Benz couldnt fit my car in to look at my battery. My mom took her car here once, and I remember my parents telling me about this place. I called and they told me to bring it by. They replaced my battery and had me in and out within an hour. I wouldnt go anywhere else!
