Very nice, clean facility. One of the few places in Austin area that can do a full alignment on a class a rv, freightliner chassis. Appointments are best. Easy to get in and out, close to 130 toll. Friendly staff.

Just had 6 tires replaced on our Jayco Seneca, and Dave S. Took excellent care of us. It was a busy Saturday morning, and it was obvious he cared about each customer that came in, even though they were short staffed. The work was done quickly and at a good price for quality tires. Dave definitely did what was needed to gain a future repeat customer.

We took our Western Star on a Saturday for 2 front tires and Mike we felt went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of in a timely manner. They put in the two tires and balanced them within an hour. The price was fair and their store card helped with not having to have a big charge on our checking account. We will definitely make this location our go to for our truck repair from now on. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We felt welcomed. Ask for Mike D. as he is a good front counter person. Easy to talk to and answered all my questions.

We took a truck in to get a tire replaced and a week later this is what the tire looked like. At first I tried to be reasonable and understand that no one is perfect and mistakes happen (even though this is an extremely dangerous mistake) so I called Tavi to let him know the situation and was reassured by both Tavi and the female handling the dispatching they would come out and fix it.It is now 2 days later and theyve yet to call my mechanic or bother to come by even though the truck is sitting maybe 15 minutes from their shop. Tavi claims he told his boss about this issue and is waiting to hear back from him but as soon as I ask to speak to him hes gone radio silent on me. Therefore this is apparently the only way I can talk to anyone who actually cares about their paying customers.These guys have not only put my drivers safety and everyone on the roads safety at risk by not properly putting the tire back on but they have also cost me thousands and thousands of dollars in down time and they apparently couldnt care less. As a company that routinely has to go in for new tires and flat repairs this is unfortunate because they are the most conveniently located tire shop to where we dump.

Great service. Very personable and friendly staff. Alex was very helpful at making sure I had the right tires. Alex even noticed that I had a pain in my arm and cared enough to ask if I was ok. I really in truly wish it was a half of star rating. I advise anyone getting or thinking about getting work done here stay away. They have inexperience shop guys doing oil changes and causes bigger issues to your vehicle. The store Manager dont have a clue cause he just sits back in cool air and give orders. A customer should be your priority. Well l got an oil change here which they hire anybody to get work done smh and they didnt plug my oil and didnt return my oil cap back on which cause bigger issues now with my vehicle. I spoke with the store manager who could careless about what happened. Im going on further with it with my attorney cause its not right. STAY AWAY PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE

Great place to get your commercial tires changed especially after you hit the dump a mile away and shred your tires.

I came in here to get a slow leak repaired. They did it in literally 15 minutes. Completely For free.They didnt lecture me about replacing all my tires at once, or try to upsell me on anything! They didnt try to get any money out of me in any way. They just fixed my tire and sent me on my way.This place is great. Definitely coming here to get tires from now on.

Today I feel like one star is even too much for the experience I just had. I took my truck in to get my front two tires balanced and we are currently under COVID-19 restrictions and precautions and when I asked to pay over the phone I was treated with a terrible attitude and My decision to pay over the phone got rejected! How inconsiderate when everyone else in the world right now is taking precautions during this time.

A friend recommended that I take my truck here for tires. Since Im new to the area and didnt know anyone, I was putting a lot of faith in his recommendation. I called this past Wednesday and made the appointment for first thing this morning. Arrived on site and I pulled straight in, no wait at all. Tavi managed my tires and seal replacement. The head mechanic pointed out some things I should be aware of and I was out the door in record time. A great experience...honest folks and very competitive pricing. I just may have found a new shop.

Been here 5 times for tires for my company. Simple drop off, pick up the next day, loose tire stuff. 1 time out of 5 the tire was done. Still have to sit and wait every single time. Obviously people don’t know what’s going on with what work they have

Fantastic Service Department!!! I took my F 150 Ford Truck in and the service was perfect, along with the cost exactly as estimated! Have been going here for years and while waiting recently noticed a New Store Manager, who is young and involved in all aspects of keeping things running smoothly. Bad customer service, no one greets or acknowledges upon arrival, take forever to get to you and answer customer with an attitude. People here lack of customer service skills.

Ive been going to the Southern Tire Mart off 290 in Austin for 3 years now to service my SUV. They have always been very honest, efficient, and generally great. Last Saturday I went there and had them check my brakes and tires. They worked on my car for an hour and at the end, there was no charge. Thanks John Heim and team!!!

I came to get two new tires. The front desk guy had an attitude with me because I couldn’t come back the next day. Then he made me pay for 5 lug nuts that I was supposedly missing, come to find out they never put them on and sent me on my way with just 3 lug nuts on my tire, which is extremely dangerous.

Julio gave me excellent customer service would highly recommend.

They only take you if you have an appointment if not you have to schedule one no Walk in. Its okay because I had to go back and do something else.

Theyre more than just tires and theyre good people. Ive had great experiences here (too many unfortunately, my vehicles are old). I would definitely recommend. Alex has been super helpful and informative through every issue Ive had.

We were travelling in our motor home and got a nail in our tire. Southern Tire got us in quickly and took out the nail... no charge. Very professional and friendly service. Will get my new tires from them in the future

Great place for tire repair. They treat you like your important to them, which is great! Check out their shop floor when you get a chance. It shines like no other, lol. Highly recommended.

Getting into the shop was pleasant and the service writer was very helpful. When you do get in to the shop no one is working.. the guy replacing my tire walked around for 20 min trying to find tools.. no one in this shop has any hustle and on top of all the laziness it is no surprise not one employee had safety in mind. They took shortcuts that could get someone killed. This is a beautiful establishment but dont let the looks cool you this is not a professional tire shop. Be better off with bubba on the side of route 40

The guys at Southern Tire Mart did a great job! They found the right kind of tires for my Dodge Challenger Rallye, completed the work on time and was done at a fair price including the road hazard warranty. These guys are equipped to do everything from a passenger car like mine to full size pickups and industrial use trucks.

Sweet worker by the name of Kemish was a huge help! Need more patient and helpful young men like him in the world!

Reasonable oil changes wont try to up sell you. They are either super busy or not just call ahead first. Predict an hour service time.

I have filled out the quote form 3 times online over the last week and sent in a email with no response. I called the store on a saturday at 11 and the hours show to be 8-12 and went to a call center that said she could give me a price but it would be higher. I guess Im spending my money elsewhere.

Ive bought a lot of tires in my lifetime......This was my first time buying a set from southern tire mart. By far this is the BEST place Ive ever done tire business with! The customer service is on a whole nutha level! I had my kids with me and they even put the Disney channel on the tv in the waiting room. VERY pleased with the tires and time they took to install. This is my new tire shop for life. Jerry was very helpful and super nice dude!! John was awesome! I wish I remembered everyones name. Amazing staff!! Ill be telling everyone I know about my experience here and recommend them to do business here.

KLLM DRIVERS STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! They will try and cheat you on tire replacements since they think you have no alternative to get tires!!! Saw others getting casing credits but because they own KLLM, they refuse credits! NJust a gyp joint!

Long delay from 6:00 a.m. to 9:25 a.m.

On Wednesday February 11 I made an appointment to align and balance the truck, it was set for Wednesday February 12 at 2 pm, and I should be present one hour before. So I did, at 2 pm they asked me for the key, and they told me that the technician would take care of it. There were no customers in the workshop, only some workers walking around and others sitting in the lobby. At 4 pm I came back by the truck and the yard was still on and they were attending to another. I took my truck out of alignment and with the worst opinion of the place.This is Southern Tiré Mart from US 290 Austinto another

The workers do not have good customer service and the shop is empty there is no one and it is not lunch time
