Got a routine oil change, Ive been here several times before. Pretty Standard there. But they do the little things, that sometimes Im sure go unnoticed.My Car undercarriage had been bent some by a low curb and it had been an annoyance for over a week, scraping when I pulled out of my driveway, and when I rolled over many dips in the road. They somehow restructured it so that it wouldnt be an issue and was out of the way, it might not have taken them much. But I appreciated that and noticed.

Its a very run down shop. If you have a car or SUV great. But any heavy duty trucks or heavy vehicles.... your out of luck. They are still stuck in the past. Try your luck at lambs. They have better equipment.

No complaints. Provided quotes, did the work that I approved, didnt complain about the fixed car staying on the lot as I was on vacation.Expect that the same work may have been cheaper somewhere else, but Im happy that I went with B&B.

The mechanics were very helpful and got my work done in a matter of days. They kept me in the loop throughout that time and made it a quick and easy trip dropping off and picking up.

Talented technicians. They worked on my classic bronco and classic defender. They are honest and do great work. I thought my bronco was running right but they found issues that kept it running properly. They went above and beyond and repaired my headers that had to be machines so they could sit flat against the heads. She starts up perfectly now and purrs like a kitten. So happy.

I was going to complain about the extra time it took to complete my car, or Earls lack of people skills like ever One else, but the work they did is on point and looks good. I have no complaints, leave Earl alone, he does good work and thats hard to find these days.

I am 16 yo and I recently just got my first car. The first thing I wanted to do with the thing was make its 4 cylinder engine louder. My parents told me any customizations that I wanted to make to my car I have to pay for myself. I saved up quite a bit of money and my dad decided to bring me to see if we could get any exhaust work done. I was very disappointed that the money I saved up couldn’t get me very much in exhaust customizations, as they were well overpriced. I am probably going to try other muffler shops around town now. However we had great customer service and were seen within minutes of our arrival. The mechanic that we had was very upfront and honest about everything. Overall my experience was great with the exception of the pricing.

Though they are one of the busiest shops in town, they still got it done in a timely manner for a reasonable price. They fit a Borla muffler with a 13inch Borla tip perfectly flush on a VW Passat and it sounds amazing. Offered all the options if I wanted to do a resonator delete etc and set proper expectations. The welds are solid and the exhaust tip is perfectly fit. Highly recommended.

These guys are the best! When I was driving my lime green beetle, they took care of oil changes and auto repairs for the last 5 years of its 17 year life. The service is amazing, and the guys there really care about their clients- especially Ryan and Zack. Oil changes were always quick and reasonably priced - as were the various repairs they did on my car. They were always honest and told me the cost up front - no crazy inflated costs. They would drive me back to work too if they were keeping my car for the day. Everyone I dealt with there was kind and courteous. When I was going to trade in my beetle, they shared their wonderful advice about used cars to help me find my next best car match. They even helped me put on the new plates for no charge. When I thank them for anything, they say, thats what we are here for, and they mean it.Group of great guys who I cant recommend enough!

Really appreciate the honesty of this shop. High quality, honest work in a timely fashion.I had a lot of questions after I got a really high price point from another shop on a cat converter replacement. I called around and the guys at B&B came highly recommended. They were super helpful on the phone, and when I brought my car in, they were able to take a quick peek to get more answers.Ultimately, rather than replacing unnecessary parts on my truck to make a repair, they purchased only the necessary parts and did some welding to make the repair, replacing the front / rear cat and some piping, but saving the muffler and the tailpipe.This kind of honesty is what I really look for in a solid auto shop. Way more expensive than the competition. First gentleman I spoke to was awesome, but “Earl” didn’t seem like he wanted any business. Seems like it was an inconvenience to him for me to call his business.

My 911 had a loose baffle inside the muffler. They were able to repair it for a great price and with a quick turn around. Friendly and honest shop. Being a car guy, I cant tell you how refreshing this experience was.

I showed up for a walk in and even though there was a line they helped everyone quickly. I notified the employee I was working with that I had appointments later in the day that I would need my car for and they were able to get my car ready in time for my appointments. I went to B&B Muffler and Auto after shopping around to see what shop could give me the best price and best service for a major repair I needed (replacing power steering and rack & pinion). B&B was recommended to me by a colleague who had been a customer for years, and he was right - the service was fantastic and the price could not be beat. On top of that, the mechanics were pleasant to work with and stayed in great communication with me during the entire process. B&B will now be my go-to for all of my repairs, and I cant express how amazing the entire experience was with them. I highly recommend B&B for repairs major and minor; you will not be disappointed.

I took my car here to get an alignment, since the last place (Groovy Automotive) did nothing to fix it. I got a call back that they were unable to do my alignment because of a bad tie rod. They gave me a fair quote that didnt have any extras or unnecessary repairs. It was nearly 1200$ less than I was quoted at Groovy. When I was discussing the difference in the work B&B wanted to do compared to Groovy, they were able to explain to me what was incorrect and help me understand what ACTUALLY needed to be done to get my car back into working shape. B&B even shuttled me to and from my work to get my car! Everyone here is so nice, knowledgeable, and friendly! I felt like I was taken care of completely and they even fixed a couple small things complimentary along with my other repairs. This place is the best mechanic I have ever been to, I will definitely be coming here from now on.

I walked in at noon and B&B fit me in to replace my blown-out glass packs. They were done in less than four hours and they did a five star job. The welds are clean and solid, and most importantly it sounds great and I dont have to shut off my engine at the drive-thru anymore.The estimate was accurate and cost was reasonable. There are also tons of good restaurants around if youre on foot.

This was my first time to come to B&B Muffler and Automotive Service Center. Everyone was extremely helpful. I needed a new battery and needed it to be done in 45 minutes or less. They changed my battery, aired up my tires, and topped off my coolant. They had it done in less than 45 minutes; service was amazing. Everyone was super friendly. Registering an Assembled Vehicle in Texas is almost impossible. One of the steps is you have to have your vehicle safety inspected by an ASE Master Mechanic who has current certification. After spending weeks trying to find an ASE master mechanic, I finally found B&B Muffler and Automotive. Mike Heide, the owner, is very familiar with the process and was able to complete the inspection the same day I contacted them. Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable of what I was going through.

I am pleased. I expected to be talked into spending a lot of money though I only needed my state inspection. But, I am happy to report that the only thing I paid for was my inspection! My car is 2002 with 162,000 miles on it so it would have been so easy! Thanks guys!! You are the best.

Can’t bash their quality but price is INSANE. $300 for two 2.5 inch welds and 10 minutes of instal. Went to another shop who did it for $90. Also I rarely care about this if the service is fine but the tech who helped me had an attitude and was wildly rude the second I walked in the door. Other techs talking seemed nice but guess I just got the wrong guy.

I used to go to Pep Boys for years until I was made aware of B & B Muffler by one of there employees. I took me vehicle there, and not only was I made to feel like a priority, but there mechanics work was fast, and efficient. Now I refuse to take my vehicle anywhere else. I would recommend them to anyone, the prices are fair, and the work they put into it makes it worth your while.

I drive all the way from Webberville to go to B&B. I trust them and they have never steered me wrong. I have a mechanic friend that no longer works but when I first started going to B&B, which my mechanic/very close friend recommended, I would call him and explain what my truck was doing and then explain what B&B was saying and he would agree every time. They may be on the higher side as far as pricing but they do great work and have never tried to get me to get something done that wasnt needed. Anthony and the crew have always been nice and they give rides! Sometimes you get what you pay for and this is a place that is definitely worth the money for the re-assurance that your vehicle is in good hands!

Extremely helpful, courteous, honest and professional. Took my car in to look for an exhaust leak. They did not find a leak but suggested some other causes for the fumes and explained how it could be fixed. Very friendly employees, who did not pressure me to fix anything, but instead informed me of the options and let me make my own decision. Highly recommended!

Great service! I had an exhaust tip with a broken weld and it was rattling like crazy. They didnt try to sell me on anything new or an upgrade, they just fixed it quick and simple for less than $50. Really appreciate that there are still shops that will do something super simple without trying to charge you crazy amounts.

We recently relocated to Austin, TX and needed to get a vehicle inspection done. Looking for a facility close to where we are staying B & B Muffler came up on our search. Being new to the area we wanted a reliable place to go, so as we read reviews for B & B we felt very comfortable taking our van to them and we werent disappointed! Everyone was friendly, welcoming and very professional. We were very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend them.

Good people; good service. I had my exhaust replaced this week and they had me done in 4hrs. Not too shabby considering the job. If youre stuck on site waiting for the repair, I recommend eating and hanging out at Kerbey Lane across the street on the patio. You can sit and chill while monitoring your vehicle on the rack. Good vantage point with food/water.

I had an issue with the front part of my Malibu, and the guys fixed me right up!! They told me to bring it in to check it before I headed out to the dealership to probably pay a ton of money for something so easy to fix. They were right. B&B fixed my car free of charge, and they were a life saver.Great service and customer service!

My car had a rattle under the car. Apparently, It was a simple fix. All they had to do was move the heat shield back in place to correct the rattling. They could have charged me for their time or made up some expensive problem to get money out of me. Instead, they gave me back my keys and just asked that I recommend them for future service(s).Ive NEVER experienced such compassion and goodwill. Came in to get a New exhaust system for my 2013 Mazda 3.Was not sure what i really wanted had i good idea of what it was and told Anthony Hicks the man who was helping me, and he says i know just what your looking for.In a speedy 2 hours later my car came out of the shop Sounding mean and nasty in all the right ways!!!!!They put in a Twister Racing muffler by Flo Pro. They set me up for the best match i would ask for now if i try to mod my car by putting a turbo in it i will not need to get new exhaust. My co workers at my car dealership looked it over told me it looks amazing when we put it on the lift and sounds perfect.. They made this very easy and fast. i recommend This place to any gear head and any lady. prices are good and you dont feel like your getting ripped off. best bang for your buck Ive seen by far.

This place is phenomenal. I first went here when my car started making noises. They diagnosed the problem and provided several different repair options, including cheaper alternatives. They were patient with me needing to consult with my dad before making any decisions. Everyone is always super friendly and I have no problem sitting in the waiting room. This is now the only place I will take my car for anything from oil changes to major repairs. I HIGHLY recommend.

B&B is the best shop in town and I have been going there for years. The guys who work there are very knowledgeable and helpful. I usually deal with Anthony, but all the other people are very friendly also. They are always able to fix any mechanical problems I have had with any of my vehicles. Plus, they have free loaner cars if you have to leave you vehicle for an extended period of time. I have recommended them to many of my friends who were also pleased with their services. Their prices are reasonable and well worth the guaranty and service you receive.

Just moved to Texas. Had to get my vehicle inspected. I got new wiper blades 7 months ago, and they wouldnt pass my vehicle because I had streaks on the windshield. After waiting 2 hours on a slow day, they want $22 per wiper blade before they pass my vehicle so I can get my license. Terrible business. I do not recommend anyone to get their vehicle inspection test at B&B Mufflers. They lost my business for life.

I called ahead of time to ask if they could do a custom x-pie for my mustang and they said yes just to take my pie that i had mentioned to them i already had. I went in and they asked me how i wanted my pipe in detail so it could be how i wanted to be. Well the pipe i gave them was to thin so when they were bending it the pipe busted and it was no bueno They gave me an x-pipe they already had for free for the damages to my pipe even though it was totally my fault. This place is truly awesome. I recommend it. Good service, low prices, friendly staff that do exactly what you want, and satisfying experience.

This is the best auto repair shop Ive been to in Austin! They treat me like a daughter, and are able to explain the answers to all of my questions. Bonus: Shuttle driver to work on days when they are fully staffed so you dont have to take a taxi!

Pay no mind to the 1 star reviews that are written about this place. I have had multiple instances where the people here couldve taken me to the cleaners, instead they always take the time to explain everything to me. In one instance taking me into the shop to explain to me why I did not need to purchase a new part I though I needed. They are truly one of the best automotive repair shops to do business with in Austin.

One of these days Im going to drive in to B & B Muffler just to say hello. Thats how much I love these guys! Anthony at the desk is awesome, the mechanics are quick (Wayne is my miracle worker!), and Ive had nothing but fair and responsible treatment from these guys. B&B Muffler provided affordable service, excellent customer service, and fast work. I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT with a leak/hole in the exhaust system. They provided a free estimate and the final fee to do the simple weld to fix the loud exhaust was $34 plus tax. I recommend this muffler shop since it has exceeded my expectations.

A well run shop. The brake & suspension guy flushed my brakes and got pressure back to my rears - which can be difficult with the proportional valve. Exhaust shop is also very good.

Had a bunch of work done on my 2011 Subaru Outback over the holidays. Always a good experience. I have great trust in Neff, Alex, Ryan, Mike and the mechanics. They have looked after all of my cars for years. These guys have reasonable prices, work fast, and are trustworthy.

Would have loved to give these guys a try but a simple appointment turned into Oh we dont take appointments You have a make an appointment button on your website. My appointment was accepted and told them up front I would have to wait. Thats why you make an appointment. You dont make an appointment to drop it off. This was a 45 minute job to change out a couple of mid-mufflers on a Challenger SRT 392. About as easy as it gets! If you dont take appointments take the damn appointment request down from your site. Terrible customer experience! Oh and let me say... Im not a kid that is just pissed because I didnt get my way. I politely said Ok I will take it somewhere else even though I drove 40 minutes. Looks really busy but I see a lot of guys standing around and 3 guys on the counter. Your parking lot is full because no one is getting any work done. There was one car in the exhaust bay. Come on! Just ridiculous! Point of this review is to let everyone know... that make an appointment request on their website is to arrange to drop your car off, so they can get it done when they get to it. Hope this saves some one some time and headache.

Yesterday was the first time I had ever been to B&B Muffler and Automotive Service Center, they were very quick to help me and I had several of the employees come out to help figure out what was wrong with my car when I got there. Anthony Hicks the Service Adviser is also one of the main reasons Ill be back to this shop because he worked with me and helped me figure out the best route to go with regarding my car. With all that being said, I will definitely be back anytime I have car troubles.

If you want to pay 200% more than a repair should cost this is the place. I see this owner is quite the liar. Maybe you should do better business or hopefully close the shop. People deserve to be treated with respect. Found an honest place of business and would do everything to stay away from this retaliating owner.

After having some minor work done at B & B in the past, I went in this past week because my car with making a noise and was told that I would need a new rear differential. Mike (the owner of B & B) looked at my car himself and advised me that due to the age and amount of work needed done to my car and the fact that I would just keep having issues due to rust, it was not worth fixing. He also made sure to tell that my car was also unsafe to drive for much longer and gave me some advice on things to look for and consider when looking for a new car (I took his advice and now have a new car). Many other mechanics would have taken my money to fix the differential without a second thought. I have always had stress-free experiences at B & B and am now a life long customer thanks to Mike, Ryan and the rest of the staff! Thank you for everything!

I had my first visit to B and B based on the reviews. I had some rattling sounds coming out of my passenger side. I heard when I had the windows down couple of weeks ago. The mechanics checked through the car but did not find an exhaust leak or anything loose. They also checked the fluids. Thus, with no charge, I have the peace of mind. I appreciate their honesty for not pushing a sale or fixing something that is not there.The only complaint was the wait. I dont mind it took longer but I was told it wont be long so I decided to wait there. if Id be informed the length of wait I would have arranged to utilize the time to get some stuff done. I guess if I would have called before I go I probably can gage the timing better.All being said, I think it is hard to find honest mechanics so five star rating.They do have free wifi and a desktop computer on a comfortable desk for customers to use which is convenient.

No matter who I am talking to (on the phone, at the front desk, the foreman, a repair person), the communication is clear and professional. The analysis is always put in context, and there are no surprise costs. I am treated with respect.In addition, the invoices are clear and detailed, so if I go back to a previous repair its all there. When they say I will get a call, I get a call. When I need a ride home the experience is pleasant, and the car is clean. They are timely and the waiting area is well stocked with a variety of reading materials. Even my kids are welcome!The one time I went to a competitor (because of a coupon!), I had the opposite experience. Never again! Its B & B for me.

Untimely: I have been using B&B for two years now for general maintenance and a few specialty concerns with my 2005 Mercury Mountaineer. They do reliable work at standard pricing, and have taken good care of my vehicle, but have consistently been untimely in completing repairs. Be prepared to lose at least a day–this is not a place for a quick oil change or tire rotation, etc. Best to bring your vehicle here for more serious issues.

Quick & Easy

Really nice people, put brake fluid in my car when my brake light came on and didnt charge for anything so I felt like they were reliable and nice. Went back when my check engine light came on and they were able to partially diagnose the problem and quoted me for a few resolutions. Took the car elsewhere for a second opinion and they actually did a much more accurate diagnosis, found that the solution to my problems was just the timing belt rather than replacing the entire cam shaft, and are able to do a brake job, front axle repair AND replace the timing belt and oil leak for the same price B&B quoted me to only fix the oil leak and timing belt issue. Not that they lied about anything, but they just wanted to fix a bunch of stuff that didnt necessarily need to be fixed in order to resolve the bigger issue. Glad I went somewhere else to get the repairs done. Would have spent almost a grand to repair something that wasnt even broken if I got the job done here.

I had a new aftermarket cat back system installed. Very professional. Met my expectations. There were no surprises. The aftermarket exhaust didnt quite fit exactly, but B&B apprised me of the situation and provided a solution. Great job!

Anthony went above and beyond to help me when my ac went our on my car. Another mechanic told me i needed a new compressor and so I was fully expecting to pay upward of $900 for the repair. Turns out all I needed was a freon recharge and the guys here fixed it for under $300. They so easily could have ripped me off, but refused to be dishonest. I will be a loyal customer of B and B from now on.

Just Not Helpful....Ive now gone to B&B twice for exhaust work and had the exact same experience. All the local auto shops highly recommend B&B but rather than providing expert exhaust advice I always feel like Im somehow annoying the manager. I have an old car with some unique exhaust needs - it has a bigger engine swapped in and the car is lowered so I need a custom setup. I went in earlier this week to get advice on how to make the exhaust quieter, get rid of the highway drone, and raise the exhaust up so it wouldnt drag over roadhumps. Rather than tell me exactly what I needed to do the manager sort of gave me suggestions and put it back on me to figure out what to do. He was also really vague about how the exhaust would look coming out the rear valence - something thats important to me. In the end I was given a quote that I had to write down myself and didnt get a detailed estimate. Ive heard from others that this place is really weird about giving quotes so Im not sure what thats all about.I left feeling like I needed to spend $650, would have to wait a few days, and still wouldnt know if it would solve my problem.I went over to SOCO Muffler - Radiator on someones recommendation. These guys were awesome, put it up on the lift, held up mufflers to show me how it would look, and even custom positioned the tips for me. I actually ended up paying them more but I was comfortable doing it because the guy was a pro and really wanted to help me find exactly what I wanted.

Really enjoyed the experience, went in and they helped me get my truck up to date in order to meet inspection. They didnt try to oversell or upcharge me, upfront, honest and helpful.

Ive been to B&B a few times now and I dont think Id go anywhere else. These guys are always nice, honest and helpful. They dont try and upsell you or pressure you into work you dont need. The loaner car has been a life saver on a few occasions.

B&B Muffler was professional, friendly and did exactly what they said they were going to do. They even gave me a loaner car once I told them I needed a vehicle. Ryan and Jose are awesome. Definitely take your vehicle to B&B Muffler.
