Do your research and stay away from this dealership at all costs. Customers are not the top priority for the Audi North Austin dealership. I’ve had a series of appalling customer service issues with this place since moving to Austin the spring of 2019. They give the Audi brand a bad name. The employees at this dealership lack proper training to interface acceptably with customers and complete repair work on vehicles. It’s impossible to reach anyone in mgmt. or your service points of contact. No one is available to answer calls or emails let alone respond to them in a timely manner (mostly, they don’t respond at all). Their service app and documentation of history on vehicles is beyond poor – they don’t update it. They dont quality check their repair work. They also run a staffing schedule where employees aren’t available M-F and don’t subsequently complete any kind of knowledge or documentation transfers to keep customers informed about the status of the work when the customer’s assigned point of contact is out. The below situation is the latest, and last time I will ever engage with this location.8/11 – Took vehicle in for 65k maintenance. Was also experiencing an AC issue I wanted to the dealership to diagnose. The dealership said I needed to schedule a follow up appointment to inspect/repair the AC.8/18 – Drop off for AC diagnosis and repair. The evaporator needed to be replaced.9/14 – Dealership told me the AC repair was complete. I paid $3386.69 and picked up the vehicle. As I drove it home I recognized a “new” sound that had never occurred before. Something sounded loose when the car was running and accelerating. I immediately called the dealership and told them something was now wrong with the car that hadn’t been an issue before their AC repair. The dealership had clearly not completed any quality checks on their repair work. You could hear the new “noise” from the inside and outside by simply sitting in the driver seat or standing next to the car once the car was turned on. They told me to return the car asap and they would prioritize getting it looked at and repaired since it had just been in for a repair.9/15 – I returned the vehicle to be fixed. I informed the dealership that I had an extended road trip starting 10/15 that would take me out of the state for several wks. They told me repairs would be completed by the time I left.10/11 – I received a message from the dealership telling me the gasket part was scheduled to arrive on 10/13 or 10/14 and confirmed awareness that I needed my vehicle for my upcoming road trip beginning 10/15.10/14 – I called the dealership after receiving no further communication on the status of my car because they don’t update the status of their app that’s supposed to allow you to check in on the progress of any repairs. I was informed that my contact wasn’t available as he only works M-W and that no one other than him had any details on the car. I asked to be escalated to a manager and was told that someone call me the next day.10/15 – No one called me.10/19 – The dealership contacted me via the app telling me that I now needed to pay another $1200 to repair the gasket and valve issues that suddenly occurred after their AC fix. They told me that timing was all just a coincidence. Yeah, right. I also couldn’t get a clear answer about the state of the repair. The dealership said the gasket had been replaced, but now the extra money was needed for them to repair the valve that had suddenly and “coincidently” failed. I’m now waiting for a manager to call me back. Again. No idea when I’ll get my car back, but am calling other service depts to schedule a diagnosis with a more reputable place to understand what is really going on and has happened with my vehicle that had no prior issues before the Audi North dealership attempted to repair my AC.My future Audi purchases will be made elsewhere. My next steps are to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, share my painful story to warn other potential customers in online reviews, and investigate my legal options.
