Clay and the team did solid work on my sons Ford F150. He bought it used with a lift kit and we couldnt find any other place that could diagnosis, repair, and provide an alignment. Clay explained everything to us and they really did a lot of work in an amazingly short amount of time. The truck runs great again!!We will return for any future needs.

Took SUV into install tow bar, wire harness,After picking up truck, I drove out of town to get haul, only to discover wire harness did not work, so couldnt get haul costing an added expense. When I returned told them wiring did not work, apologized, and admitted they hadnt even tested it because it was such a simple job! They then said I required additional wiring, which I did, which would have been discovered if they simply tested their work. I asked for my money back, which they said they do, but did not.Every time I call, Im immediately placed on hold. Having my c.c company dispute the charges. No service! Go elsewhere!

First, I just want to say that if anyone in Austin knows 4 Wheel Parts, you know that you may be on placed on hold for a minute to get an appointment. Due to the locations high client volume they are swamped routinely. I also know that they try to give you as much time as they can, however, let’s face it they’re always busy. I know that it may take a couple weeks to get in, but I know when I arrive I’m going to be taken care of.Clay Carpenter, with the Sales Team, specifically is my go to guy when I need help. He takes his time to answer my questions and he goes above and beyond to meet your needs, same day, if they’re able to accommodate it. Vehicle repairs and installs on lifted trucks are expensive, but identifying a problem, and being able to rectify it during the same day, during a routine appointment is great IMHO. I’ll be taking my vehicle to 4 Wheel parts for now on for tire purchases, oil changes, rotations. One stop shop period for routine lifted truck maintenance.

Took a Vehicle of mine to have suspension, steering, and the normal stuff this place should have no problem installing. Well, while on the way home I had tremendous death wobble not knowing how because the vehicle only had 4000 miles on it. The next day I am checking to make sure everything is still tight and I find that 4WP had installed my steering WITHOUT locktite even though it was provided with the parts I brought and did not torque the drag link ends to the correct spec. So, I decided to call the store and make them aware of my findings and complaints and basically got told it was my own fault due to me bringing my own parts from aftermarket companies. Like seriously? Haha. Will not be coming back to 4WP Austin for this exact reason.

My first experience here but it was bad non of my stuff was given to me on deliver date that I have to cancel never got and updated very unprofessional!

These guys came through in a big way and went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of. My initial reaction wasn’t to pleasant due to my frustration with the manufacture of a part. They took care of me though and also replaced a broken wheel stud at no cost to me. Thanks for helping.

These guys really take care of me. Id like to say, they get it right the first time, but I did have an issue with an install they did. First, it didnt hurt anything. Then when I had an issue, they recognized what was wrong, and took care of it, no cost to me. I will continue giving them my business.

Not living up to their reputation

A good experience, good pricing and trustworthy. The only thing that was lacking is they said they would call me when it was ready, but they did not. I called an hour before they closed and was able to make it there in time.They charged $156 (a 2nd opinion) versus Christian Brothers quote of $5,500. Thats almost worth a third opinion! I am giving a 2 star thats because the Assistant Manager of the store did the right thing and my first experience was not bad. We bought a tailor hitch from them on May 30 and we were told by the sales guy Joe that he will call us with information about our order. 2 weeks passed by never got any call back, then I called to follow up and person who took my call said its only 2 weeks, that was kind of an odd thing. But I was patient and he said I should get the order in any day. The whole time passed by never got a call from Joe. Now I got an email on June 25th confirming my order was in, so I called back to get the install date, I was told oh Joe is my sales guy he will call and schedule me for installation. Whole month of June passed never got a call from Joe who was supposed to follow up on my order and call me for my installation, never happened. Today (July 1) I called and spoke to the Assistant Manager and he apologized and immediately scheduled me for an install.If you do business with them be prepared for a poor service. I am probably not going to come back to them, there are many Jeep stores that have better service.

I highly recomend 4 Wheel Parts in Austin for all your Jeep needs, not only do they have a great selection of products to choose from with very competative prices but the customer service can not be beat.They have definately gone out of there way to get me the help I needed and no problem has ever been to small. Solid place to get work done to your vehicle. Really good guys there who are very knowledgeable on their stuff. Lifted up my JL Wrangler (among other things) and it was great work at a very good price for quality accessories. Only cons are scheduling stuff, usually a couple weeks out (but it is what it is) and my tires being balanced. Had to go back twice to get them re-balanced for a vibration and they still couldnt get it done right. Discount tire got it knocked out though in 45 minutes on the first try.

I called this store to buy some wheels/tires and suspension for my truck. I told them what i was thinking of and wanted to get some suggestions and a quote for all of this. I was told i would be called back within the hour once they researched. I waited all day and nothing. I called back 2 more times after this and each time they told me the girl helping me would get back to me. A week later and i still havent got a single call. I ended up giving my business to someone else. If you have a store and people willing to buy your products the least i would expect is for them to put some effort into helping their customers.Spend your money somewhere else.

I purchased a CB radio and scheduled an appointment to install. Not only did it cost $230 in labor but they failed to install the Teflon washer, didnt ground the antenna and would not tune it. The work took 3 hours, which seemed to defeat the point of making an appointment, all to get a CB setup that doesnt function properly.Save your money and frustration and go somewhere else

The company is good at what they do, but this locations customer service can be hit or miss, if you dont fit into their businesses model.

Dropped my truck off with them and made sure I inspected this truck top to bottom and picking up I now have 2 chips in my brand new rims. The manager doesnt want to take responsibility and is claiming they didnt do this but yet replaced tpms sensors in every wheel. These rims were brand new and only had maybe 50 miles on them. Scott is no help and only denying the issue when they are the only ones that have touched the wheels.

Bought a $1400 truck bed cover which included free installation. Which, unfortunately, was installed completely incorrectly in a way that might have bent the rails. Even bolted it down with the plastic film still stuck on it. Wouldn’t have been able to get it all off if I didn’t have to redo it myself. Maybe pass on the free install.

These people dont want business. 4 days back to back I called and all I get is thanks for calling can you hold...... then crickets, on hold forever. Sorry moving on to more a proactive place.

Wasted my time and lied to me. I ordered wheels online. They emailed a notice saying, the store manager will call when ready for pickup. Must present license and credit card to pickup.The store called. I asked, knowing the policy, if I could send someone else to pick it up, but would wait for the weekend if not. Not a problem. Cool. Store manager has my back.My brother goes in my place. Absolutely cant help you without ID and license. Cue phone calls and finger pointing. Not-the-manager who called me admitted he had said it wasnt an issue. No deal. Policy is absolutely inflexible, and you should have read the confirmation email.I go in the next day and pickup the tires. No ID, no license check.Awesome customer service.

Charles the assistant manager was awesome he had my shocks front and rear replaced on my 2010 toyota tundra and scott had my steering wheel straighten out cause i recently had my shaft replaced didnt charge for the second time to have the alignment done on it so if you have to choose a shop that is honest i would recommend 4 wheel parts to go to by the end of the day great people works there thank you once again for fixing my truck up and letting me be back on the road......

The staff is great! I had part issues that took 5 months to resolve and they were always helpful with all of my returns and reorders. The issues I had were with their suppliers and not them. The only criticism I can give is that they need to reign some of their suppliers in on the lies they give on estimated deliveries and quality. I havent used their services yet. I plan on it in the future as the garage appears organized and knowledgeable.

We worked with this store on a custom shock rebuilding project and the store did a great job of working with the customer and scheduling with us to get the shock rebuilt and back on the clients car asap! The new manager is really working hard on focusing on customer service and making improvements to a already good location! TPM Racing.

So not only did it take me two weeks to get an invoice. I recieved only 3 wheels when I was charged for 4 and the invoice said4. And it took another 2 weeks to hear from customer service. Horrible company. Would not recommend spending money with them.

I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance, and put $1500 down on my $3000 purchase. Brought it in for my previously scheduled appointment. Asked them how long will it take, they said a few hours, well be done by 3. I said great, Im going to wait around. They said Awesome. Double checked multiple times throughout my stay, the answer was always ...done by 3. At 3 I checked in again to see if they were getting close and found out that they had just barely started and it would be a few hours before they were done. I asked them what happened and what the miscommunication was all about, they said we just got busy.. I ended up telling them to put my truck back together, and give me back the keys. They gave me my $1500 back but took a few days.Seems like this store is very poorly managed. I dont know why they schedule appointments if they arent going to stick with the schedule, or at least communicate changes with their customers.Silly, hugely expensive waste of my time.

I ordered some Rotopax gas cans and mounts a month ago in the hopes of them arriving before a road trip I had planned. I was emailed same day as the order to tell me the mounts were back-ordered but the gas cans would come within four days. I asked for a refund for the mounts which they provided, but decided to keep the cans coming due to the fact I was told theyd arrive before my trip.A month later - still no cans. The trip came and went and I did not have them (and couldve used them). If I had just ordered them directly from the manufacturer in Australia I wouldve had them in a matter of days. I received an email last week saying they were available for pick up, so I drove thirty minutes to the storefront just to be told they couldnt find them. Another 30-40 minutes of waiting while they figured out what happened (rather than just providing a solution), I was told they sent the wrong type of cans from their warehouse. They located some and I told them to mail them to my house. Today, about a week later, I am on hold with this store for 32 minutes waiting just to TALK TO SOMEONE and ask why I still havent received these cans. Hung up, called them back, was told to go on a brief hold again.I get that the virus is causing disruption, but even with that in mind this is unacceptable. As far as Im concerned they are just holding on to my money at this point. If you need Rotopax, get them direct from manufacturer - I got the mounts from them in 3 days.

Call this place to get truck bearings fixed. The guy was very nice on the phone and provided me an accurate quote. Scheduled it a week later they still had me on file with the same quote. Once everything was done they did everything to the quote. was very fast and for a good price. Also got an A special alignment for my truck and they did and wonderful job.

Great place to service your Jeep or other vehicle that you reluctantly purchased and now regret you didn’t get that Jeep. If you need parts in a pinch, they do have some in stock you can pick up in store. Very friendly staff too. And no, it’s not too late to get the Jeep but do expect friends to say I told you so.

Great shop for both the expert and the novice. Im new to 4wd and the patience and expertise provided as I learned about lift kits and the different wheels, tires, and bumpers was extraordinary. It was only surpassed by the quality installation and customer service shown throughout the process. Randall was terrific and his expertise and help was really appreciated. There was no steering toward anything other than what he thought would fit what I wanted, which was interestingly less expensive than what I was leaning toward, and he explained the pros and cons of the different products making decision making easy.

I love this staff! They are some of the most knowledgeable and friendly people around Austin! They are fair and do great work! Most products ordered are 1 day away with their daily deliveries from their warehouse in Dallas.

I needed a trailer hitch for my Jeep Trailhawk and called around to several places in Austin to only be told it wasnt possible to do in the bumper (even though thats where my jeep has the spot for it). Then I got quoted $3,000 from the dealership... um no thank you. So I finally go into 4 Wheels and got assistance from Benjamin. He did his research and was able to find exactly what I was looking for. Schedule an appointment for the next week and can say I am very satisfied with their work. Seems like everything I come to get my tires rotated they dont change the tire pressure so I end up making 2 trips. Also today the employees seem to be a little crabby but its not my issue.

They are pricey, but I am willing to pay for a professional install. Also, I didnt get the friendliest feeling from them, but they were busy...Ill give them that. The female rep said she would call me back after checking the status of my vehicle and never heard from her.So far, the lift kit install seems to have been a quality job. Unfortunately, it revealed another some-what pricey issue to be fixed with my alignment and potentially bent axle....thats never fun. Ill update if things go south, but I feel confident that I wont need to.

Great customer service. I had an issue with a painless wiring dual battery controller (garbage by the way, save some money and get a blue sea acr) 4wheel parts refunded my money in full. Even after i had installed it. They stood behind what they sell and kept a customer in the process. I will be back for future needs.

I was buying a new top. They said 2 day shipping. Ended up being 10 day shipping. Set up a 9am appointment to install top. I live 80 miles from there shop,so I was going to wait on it. 5 hr job. They did not start working on it until 1 pm. They finish just before 5pm and charged me 5 hrs labor. They are thieves and do not take care of the customers at all.

Terrible customer service, not very helpful. Don’t bother calling this location either you will end up on hold for over 20 plus minutes. You have to physically go in to the store to get any sort of service which isn’t very good in the end.

Called multiple times and emailed the store. The person on the phone took my information twice and said someone who could help me would call me back, never got a call either time and emails just went unanswered. Talk about letting thousands of dollars just fly right by, would hate to be the owner as its apparent the employees could care less if the store makes money. Started to realize this was not the kind of shop I wanted to do business with or have working on my truck. Look elsewhere if possible.

I get being busy every once and a while. I run my own shop. But being immediately put on hold for over 30 mins is a bit ridiculous. Customer service is strongly lacking here.

These guys are fantastic. I had purchased some wheels and tires from my dealer in a different state before moving to Ausitn. In August of 2018 sadly the wheels were needing some warnty work done to them, called the wheel company and they were happy to work out a deal for me but needed to find a shop that would work with us both.I called multipule shops around my house and none were willing to help. Called these guys and they said bring it in, lets take a look and see what we can do. Not only did these guys take care of the issue, they took it one step further and handeld all the communication between the wheel company and myself. This made it so much easier and all i had to do was drop my vehicle off and get the wheels swapped out. Thanks for taking the extra steps to get this completed (which was done in about a weeks time).I returned to 4WP in October of 2018 to purchase some new wheels and tires for my new vehicle. As hard as it is to find the perfect wheel/tire combo, these guys spent a couple of hours looking at options with me to find exactly what I was looking for. We found the wheel/tire combo I was looking for and without hesitation I went ahead and ordered with them. At the time we ordered the sales guy went and looked at few other sites to see if the price was cheeper (which it was for the tires) he said well i found it cheeper so we will match that price for ya. Knowing that he could have just sold me for the full price - it was awesome to see someone go out of the way to save me a few bucks, without me even asking.This team is fantastic and I continue to bring all my vehicle needs to these guys!

I was at the store looking for center caps for my truck, the first time I did not have my truck, I was told to bring it so they can see what kind of wheels I have. When I came back a week later, the person who was helping me say that they dit not have anything available for my truck. What a waisted of time!!!!!

The Austin location has great products and prices but the service is sorely lacking. Finding someone who knows what theyre doing is damn near impossible. Ordered a leveling kit for a truck with leaf springs and got one for an SUV with coil springs. I didnt even need a rear lift but for some reason the salesperson thought I did. I find out later that it was a district manager that had created the quote! This should tell you something. Had to get the store manager involved to correct the mistake and get advice I could trust or close to it. His demeanor was lousy (very gruff) but he did know more than his people did. They need to send these folks to intensive training before making customer recommendations. Not to mention theyre labor rate is almost $100 an hour! Gave an extra star for the pricing but nothing else.It gets better . . . I spend two grand on wheels and tires and was never offered a warranty on the tires. Called the 4WP national number and a guy named Leon sold me a warranty and promised to send me an invoice and a pamphlet in the mail listing what I had bought. A week later nothing so I called customer service. The rep emailed a copy of the invoice but said Leon always sends out his literature and doesnt offer to send it anyway. This rep must have been Leons brother! Guess what? Another week goes by and its obvious Leon didnt send it so Im on hold now with customer service again for 15 minutes now. Someone answered and put me on hold again! Do not buy from these people unless you want to be punished! This company does not have their act together at store level or at national. Like dealing with Walmart for off road parts.

No eye contact when I entered, I felt like I was bothering them. I arrived with a truck problem expecting options to a solution. Very disappointed in the customer service. Walk in and observe for yourself.In my line of work- customer service and friendliness is everything- especially when Im about to spend thousands in their store.

I called a day before and talked to a salesman( Mitch) and he said to come in around 1 pm because I was getting a very loud popping sound from my truck. So I drove 20 miles out of my way to 4 wheel parts just like Mitch instructed. So when I got her I talked to Mitch if we could do a ride along so we could pin point the sound so we could save some time effort but Mitch said no and that no one can even help me or check out my truck till next week. So thanks for telling me that now when you could if told me that before I went out of my way and drove 20 miles here. Thanks for nothing. Good luck if your looking for good service

2nd time I come to get something fixed and after driving it for less than an hour the problem is back. On top of that the communication is horrible. They had my jeep for over 5 hours and never told me they were going to keep my jeep until the next day to fix my problem. Not to mention the labor charge is close to $100/hr. Would not recommend.

Absolutely awful. Bought bilstein shocks for my truck shipped in 2 different orders. Fronts arrived on time, sent me one shock for the rear which was incorrect. Correct rears still havent arrived 10 days later!! Spend your money elsewhere

Over the past six months Ive had several great experiences with 4WP - Austin. My 1976 Jeep CJ-7 came out of a barn a year ago and has been a project ever since. Randall, Bubba, and Zeus are absolute professionals who know their business and act with courtesy and professionalism. I never have a problem getting phone calls returned, appointments scheduled, or jobs done on/under the quote. Bubba doesnt let a vehicle leave the shop until he knows its repaired correctly and is safe to drive. I trust this shop with all my off road needs and will continue to be a customer for many years to come.

I initially went to get a 2 inch front end leveling kit put on my sons F150 and payed up front BUT because the counter help put in a F250 the wrong part was ordered. Luckily they had an F150 part to put in the day of the appointment BUT it was an extra $75! Sorry 4Wheel parts but your screw up pricing isnt the customers fault! They need to learn how correctly price services and then stick to it when its the Stores FAULT. Your screw up is NOT your customers problem! Customer service is most definitely not their strong point and will not get my business for my other 4x4s.I just received a call from the store and they made this RIGHT! Congrats 4 Wheel Parts.. Been here a couple times,The first time i bought a wheel and tire package online during a sale because they were super cheap and came mounted and balanced - when i went to pick them up the guys tried to give them to me unmounted and unbalanced, after explaining to them that the advert said those services were included they honored it and fixed the problem (i had to come back the next day to get them but it wasnt that big of a deal).the next time i went to get my jeep aligned and get the track bar set correctly - goodyear quoted me 100+ for an alignment and then 200+ seperate just to adjust my track bar....absolutely ridiculous... 4wp did it all for 90 bucks and did a great job - had my jeep back same day and didnt even have to wait very long.i always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, they are a parts store AND a shop so if they are a bit busy i just try to be patient and remember that.

Every time I go into that store - I am treated like I am an idiot. They are terse, impatient, and act like I am bothering them every time I have a question. Most recently I went in and wanted to set up an appointment for a wheel alignment - I have a little play in my steering. Instead of saying, you shouldnt invest in a wheel alignment until the slop in your steering is figured out - LET us get it in, and look over the system to tell you what needs to be fixed, the guy literally said. NO, we wont do a wheel alignment. Go figure it out first. Clearly they dont want my business - and I am done giving it to them. Zeus - the only person that I have had good interactions with, is the woman that works at your counter. You just lost my business.
